Do you remember seeing Sarah Michelle Gellar at the Golden Globes? These are some photos of her solo red carpet appearance, in case you forgot. I didn’t care for her Monique Lhuillier dress, but Sarah Michelle told a cute story about how her daughter styled her for the evening, so you can’t hate on it too much. Anyway, I bring this up because A) SMG didn’t do the globes with her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr. and B) She actually said a few bitchy-funny things about Freddie while she was being interviewed on E!. “But, my husband has an opinion, that doesn’t mean I listen to it.” And the crack about Freddie being Mr. Golden Globe “back when it was still in black and white.” Was she just being droll and bitchy-funny, or was she signaling to the world that she and Freddie – who have been together for 12 YEARS – are having problems?

Could Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. be the next in a long line of celebrity couples heading for divorce?

Although their rep denies the story, the duo, who have managed to remain largely out of the spotlight throughout their relationship, raised eyebrows recently when Sarah, 34, walked the Golden Globes red carpet solo – and without her enormous diamond engagement ring.

When asked, SMG told reporters that 35-year-old husband of almost 10 years was “watching football.”

Considering I couldn’t find any other major tabloid or legit media outlet that was even speculating about this, and considering that Sarah Michelle’s rep seemed to shut it down before it ever went to print, it’s probably nothing. Maybe she didn’t feel like wearing her ring to the Globes. Maybe her sense of humor is just dry and sarcastic. Maybe she and Freddie are just fine. Or maybe there’s something there? More anecdotal evidence: Sarah Michelle and Freddie haven’t been photographed together – candidly or on a red carpet – in YEARS.

Tilda Swinton could do no wrong last night at the Globes, and she chose an ice-blue skirt suit designed by her friend Haider Ackermann, who Tilda swears “can read my mind about what I want to wear.” Indeed, this outfit looks like it was made just for the occasion. The metallic jacket flowed so well into the skirt, which was just feminine enough with a teensy bit of a train. Tilda’s poufy new-wave hair went quite well with the outfit, and her makeup was understated but still polished enough to make sure that her facial features didn’t disappear. Tilda looked almost exquisite during the closeups while Meryl Streep accepted the Globe for Best Actress in a Drama. Even though Tilda lost out on the actual award, she just looked so happy for her friend yet grateful to even be mentioned on camera. She is such a boss.

Sarah Michelle Gellar wore a flouncy, big-bustled Monique Lhuillier gown and received mixed reactions last night on Twitter, where some described the look as an ill-advised attempt to bring back tye dye. During the E! red carpet coverage, Sarah mentioned that her two-year-old helped her choose the dress, which explains things well enough, but I absolutely loved this dress on her regardless of the reasons for wearing it. This look is different and adventurous, and the simple high ponytail says “youthful” without translating into “desperate to look young.”

However, Sarah Michelle’s jacket that she added for the Warner Brothers party quite nearly ruined the effect.

Jodie Foster went with a far less adventurous vibe by choosing a teal Armani gown with the same old boring, side-parted bob that she’s sported for the past decade. Jodie’s makeup is appropriate and the earrings are cute, but she could’ve jazzed things up with a sparkly necklace. Of particular note during the opening moments of the show itself was how well Jodie handled (with a very enthusiastic two thumbs up) Ricky Gervais’ joke about The Beaver. Then I realized she was just defending Mel Gibson again. Ugh.

Are you guys watching “Ringer”? I’ve heard mixed reviews for it, like it’s supposed to be super cheesy but soapy and fun. Sarah Michelle Gellar is enjoying a comeback of sorts with the show, and she has a large loyal fanbase from “Buffy.” The 34 year-old mother of one is on the cover of Self’s December issue looking hot in a little gold sequin mini and off the shoulder sweater. She tells Self that she doesn’t own a scale, that she doesn’t believe in weighing herself at all and just goes by how her clothes fit. She exercises and eat healthy though, and also tries to buy fresh food every day with her husband, Freddie Prinze, Jr.

On working out
I still work out, but not five days a week. I do Pilates, I run on the treadmill, I walk to the soundstage rather than taking the cart. I wish I could say I was in the best shape of my life right now, but I don’t put the same pressure on myself that I used to. So I don’t rock a bikini on Wilshire Boulevard — but I don’t know many people who do!

On not owning a scale
You can’t live your life by the scale. We don’t even have one in our house. I’ve never believed in them, because your weight fluctuates. It’s more about how my clothing fits than a number. Besides, if you deny yourself everything because you’re so focused on the mirror or the scale, then when do you get to enjoy life?”

On being judged by her weight
If you wear one bulky sweater, you’re pregnant or you’re fat. When you’re 5-foot-4 like me, any weight gain can look like a lot. People dissect you for 2 pounds. That can be incredibly difficult, but I don’t take it as personally anymore.

I care only that I’m healthy. Besides, I’m not an actor who is known for her body necessarily. I hope I have a few other things going for me!

On having cake when she wants
Every weekend we’re at two or three parties. Now I’m not going to eat the cake at every one, but when it is homemade or looks particularly good, I’ll indulge.

Really, how is eating a piece of cake bad? Being bad is murdering someone. That’s bad. Don’t do that.

On unplugging
Everybody is on text and Twitter. People don’t have conversations. I turn off my iPhone every evening, and my games aren’t on it. I keep my games only on my iPad, so I don’t have to hear the buzzing of Words With Friends all the time.

On not googling herself
I never Google myself. There has to be something better I can be doing than reading about myself!

On being a mom to 2 year-old Charlotte
Charlotte is my best friend and any free time I have, I want to spend with her. But … I can’t define myself as only Charlotte’s mother — one day she’s going to be an adult, and then where am I?

On her relationship with her husband
Freddie and I get our time together, too. Relationships are like flowers: They need attention to grow and develop.

On shopping every day and clipping coupons
People think it’s so expensive to eat like that, but there are ways to do it so it’s not as pricey. We shop at Whole Foods, but we ask which fish is on sale.”

And I clip coupons all the time. Why should you pay for something that someone else is paying less for?

I can’t relate to not using a scale because I usually weigh myself every morning and then I write it down in a little book. This may sound obsessive to some of you, and I know that a lot of diet plans, like Weight Watchers, recommend that you weigh in just once a week because you can get frustrated by the daily changes. For me, though, I need to know that I’m on track and weighing myself is my way of doing that. When you see those numbers go up, you are motivated to rein it in. By the time my clothes start getting tight, that feels too late, you know? Other people have different relationships with food though.

Anyway Gellar also told Health Magazine a couple of months ago that she never looks in mirrors and probably has body dysmorphic disorder. So she may not be stepping on a scale or even looking in the mirror but she’s looking amazing by everyone else’s estimate. She also seems really candid and down to earth. I love that she’s still with Freddie Prinze, Jr. Can you belive that they’ve been married for 9 years!

Sarah Michelle Gellar covers the October issue of Health to promote her new television show, “Ringer,” in which she plays identical twins. If the show succeeds, this will be her first successful return to television since the conclusion of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” in 2003 after a grand total of 145 episodes. In keeping with the “mirror image” concept of her latest show, Gellar has admitted that she’s not always comfortable with her own body when she catches a glimpse of her own reflection. So basically, she’s just like the rest of us, right?

On Her Body Image: I’m a female! I totally have body dysmorphic disorder. I think most women do. A make-up artist friend once said “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you look in a mirror.” I’m surrounded by them all the time – you sit in hair and make-up – so I guess I just have this mechanism where I tune it out. So every once in a while, I’ll look and I’ll be like, “Wait, that’s what I look like?” I just have to remember that I’m human, and I’m a mom. Being a parent changes the vanity at least a little bit. It has to. Your priorities are different.

On Going Into Labor At The Gym: It was funny, too, because I was getting cranky, and I said to my trainer, “I’m just cranky today.” She was like, “Maybe it’s because you’re going to give birth!” And I was like, “Nah, not yet.” It turned out I was in labour, I didn’t realise.

On Teaching Healthy Habits To Her Daughter: Well, we’ve already taught her to love healthy food. I think it’s important at a young age to enjoy different tastes. And we make this green juice for her. It’s basically everything but the kitchen sink. We go to the farmers’ market and buy everything and just put it in the juicer: kale, Swiss chard, carrots, celery. You name it. And now we’ve all started drinking it, and we’ve all been healthier.

On Dutchess Kate & Pippa Middleton: It seems like people are worried that Catherine’s stressed. I feel like 10 years ago, it would have been like, “Oh, she looks incredible.” Whereas you look at her sister, who has such a fabulously athletic body. . . I think there’s this movement now, where more women, finally, want to look like that.

Oddly, I had close to the same experience as Gellar with my early stages of childbirth. Perhaps I got lucky and had it easier than most, but I honestly expected much worse and didn’t realize that I was in labor until about eight hours after the process started, and I nearly got to the hospital too late. In addition, I also agree with her that most women in contemporary society have some degree of body image issues although they may or not be clinically described as having body dysmophic disorder itself. Still, Sarah Michelle has a pretty great body, and she seems fairly grounded in life. She’s been married to Freddie Prinze Jr. for nine years, and she’s finally returning to television. Let’s hope she sticks around for awhile.

“Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star Sarah Michelle Gellar (who just changed her surname to Prinze) and her husband, actor Freddie Prinze Jr., are now the proud parents of a new baby girl. Little Charlotte Grace Prinze made her debut Sept. 19, according to the couple’s rep.

Sarah Michelle Prinze and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. are parents, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

The couple “welcomed their daughter Charlotte Grace Prinze on Saturday, Sept. 19,” says a rep for the actress. “The family is over the moon.”

This is the first child for the couple, who revealed that they were expecting back in April.

Freddie Prinze Jr. will star on the upcoming season of 24. Sarah Michelle recently changed her last name from Gellar to Prinze.

Congratulations to the new parents! A cute little baby girl, what a blessing for them. Something tells me Sarah Michelle is going to be a great mom. The couple has been historically low-key about their life together, so I doubt we’ll be seeing a big photo spread in People or the other celeb mags. In other news: Freddie Prinze will be joining the cast of 24! This is almost as exciting to me as the news of their new baby! I need to find out more about this.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. are expecting! It will be the first child for both, and Sarah Michelle is due in the fall, which probably means she’s just at the end of her first trimester. Gellar is 31 years old, and Prinze is 33 years old. They’ve been married for six years, but been together since 2000. They met in 1997, during filming of I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. are expecting their first child together, a source close to the couple confirms exclusively to PEOPLE. “They’re very excited,” says the source, adding that the actress, 31, is due in the fall.

Gellar, who has been married to Prinze, 33, for six years, will next shoot the HBO pilot The Wonderful Maladays, for which she serves as an executive producer. Prinze recently shot the comedy pilot No Heroics for ABC.

There were some rumors going around last week that Sarah Michelle was about to sign on to a film version of her most popular work, the television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The reports seemed weak at the time, and even worse now. Buffy fans will probably have to wait a few more years to see Sarah Michelle as Buffy again.

I have a less-than-secret addiction to lists, and this one I particularly liked. It’s the sexiest woman poll, taken by Details magazine. Details is a male fashion magazine that features men on the cover, instead of busty women, and has been described as ‘Vogue for men’ in their 20′s and 30′s.

This is a fabulous list, considering the sexiest woman lists are usually dominated by 20 year olds with big boobies. While all the women are attractive – sexy, even – they aren’t the usual fodder dished up in lad’s mags. Jennifer Aniston is 40 years old, Megan Fox is unconventional in her appearance, Gisele Bundchen is a supermodel but at least she’s got some curves! Frieda Pinto is Indian, and usually these lists are dominated by caucasians.

These woman are also very sexy, but the eldest is 34. They don’t exactly cover a wide spectrum of beauty. They are all perfect examples of Hollywood hotness – not that there’s anything wrong with that – but it’s nice to see a few new names on the list. On the 2008 Maxim list Jennifer Aniston didn’t make the top 100, neither did Kim Kardashian, Gisele Bundchen or Freida Pinto (who was unknown at the time).

It’s also nice to finally have a story about Jennifer Ansiton that isn’t a ‘poor dumped Jen with no babies’ tale.

Sarah Michelle Gellar hasn’t really been hot property in Hollywood since Buffy left television screens – but she is Maxim magazine’s Woman of the Year.

She looks pretty good on their cover, sort of like a bondage mistress, and she really rocks the high waisted pants. She also gives an interview inside. Is this the kind of magazine you buy for the articles? Anyway, Sarah Michelle does a pretty good job of making herself sound insane.

“Freddie likes to say I’m so crazy, it’s like being married to five different women,” says Gellar.

But she says their marriage is still exciting. “As an actor every three months you have a new haircut or hair color, so it’s like being with a different person. And a lot of high heels!” she tells the magazine. “We just had one of those double showers and a custom bathtub built for two put in. It has colored lights.”

How does she keep track of it all? And by all, I mean all of her personalities? She also says she isn’t interested in having children as she’s too selfish and “When I’m home in New York, my wild side comes out,” she admits. “That’s when I go dancing until five in the morning.” Maybe all that dancing is what keeps her body up to Woman of the Year standards? It is more fun than the gym.

SMG is out promoting her latest movie Southland Tales, where she plays a porn star.

I ran the gamut in the films I made this year. When you think about who should play a porn star, don’t I just pop into your mind? The character I play is sort of Arianna Huffington meets Jenna Jameson.

I love Sarah Michelle Gellar, I think she’s so down to earth and adorable, even if she’s not exactly become the ‘next big thing’ predicted when she was on Buffy. So, I was suitably excited to hear she uses coupons and rides a bike around to save money.

She tells Self magazine, “I take my reusable bag to Whole Foods so I get a discount.

“I go to Bloomingdale’s on double rewards day. And I always print my dry cleaning coupons before I go. My dry cleaner laughs. He’s like, ‘You don’t have to keep printing them out!’”

But it’s her bright pink bicycle which earns her frowns from friends and neighbours now she lives in New York. She adds, “Not only is it bright pink with the bell and streamers and the whole thing, but it has Hello Kitty tyres. Every time I leave my apartment, my doorman just shakes his head.”

I extra love the fact that she isn’t claiming any sort of environmental reason for riding her bike, just that she likes riding and saving money. Not that there’s anything wrong with saving our planet! Who wouldn’t like to go riding on a pink bike with streamers? Who knew they made Hello Kitty tires in an adult size?

I also like to go to sales and clip coupons, except the sales I go to are a K-Mart and the coupons I clip are for fast food joints. I bet Sarah Michelle Gellar would do that too if she lived in the suburbs.

It looks like Sarah Michelle Gellar is wearing that Chanel nail polish she swiped to the premiere of “The Grudge 2.” She is seen with her husband of four years, TV star Freddie Prinze, Jr. I love her dress and she looks great.

While I thought Gellar was pregnant a while ago because she was wearing a lot of loose dresses and floaty tops, that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore and that was three months ago so she would have been showing by now. She is holding her hand on her stomach suspiciously here, but that was the same pose she did on the red carpet earlier that led me to think she was pregnant.

The Grudge 2 also stars Amber Tamblyn and is the story of a terrible curse spreading throughout the world that fills its victim with rage. It opens just in time for Halloween on October 13th.

Ex Buffy star Gellar is set to star in another supernatural thriller called “Addicted” with “Good Shepard” star Lee Pace. It will begin filming later this month.
