Last year, the family Jolie-Pitt moved to England so that Angelina Jolie could begin filming Maleficent. Although we got some blurry photos from the set (a costumed Angelina in a cow pasture!), the Maleficent shoot was not very good for Jolie-Pitt gossip. Angelina and Brad really did seem to make 2012 their most low-key year ever (even though they totally got engaged). One story that did emerge which many of us found interesting was that little Vivienne Jolie-Pitt was going to make her film debut in Maleficent. Vivienne is all of 4 years old, she’s blonde and she’s a total sweetheart. So she was perfectly cast as the young “Aurora” character – Elle Fanning plays the adult (-ish) Aurora. Now TMZ has a few more details about Vivienne’s gig – including how much she got paid!

4-year-old Vivienne Jolie-Pitt has already scored her first paying gig … and TMZ has learned she’s raking in a helluva lot more than you made on your paper route back in the day.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter is set to co-star with her mom in a movie called “Maleficent” — and according to a minor’s contract filed with the court, little Viv commands $3,000/week!

On top of that … she gets a per diem of $60/day. That’s a lot of juice boxes.

FUN FACT — Vivienne plays the role of “Young Aurora” — but another little actress, India Eisley, scored the role of young Maleficent … Angelina’s character in the movie.

I think it was wise to cast Vivienne as the younger version of Elle Fanning, because… well… Vivienne looks a lot like a Fanning girl. I wonder if Viv is always going to be a blonde (like her dad) or if her hair will get darker as she grows up (like her mom)? As for the money… I’m kind of surprised Vivienne got paid so little. I guess they didn’t have to pay her more for handlers and stuff because Angelina was on set with her the whole time.

By the way, you know Maleficent doesn’t come out until July 2014, right? UGH! It’s been so long without a new Angelina movie.

Wow, two Jolie-Pitt sightings in two days! Amazing. Yesterday, I covered the photos of Vivienne and Knox Jolie-Pitt playing in the park with a nanny and Angelina Jolie’s assistant Holly (who I don’t know on sight, sorry Brangeloonies!). And now we have photos of Angelina out with Knox, Viv and Shiloh! Angelina took her youngest kids to the Halloween Super Store in Sherman Oaks yesterday, and the paparazzi got lots and lots of photos. Why does Shiloh look so grumpy? And good God, all of these kids look so similar.

Happy almost Halloween from the Jolie-Pitts! Angelina Jolie took her children Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox shopping for last-minute Halloween costumes Oct. 28 at the Halloween Adventure Superstore in Sherman Oaks, Calif., browsing the aisles for close to an hour.

Among the items the brood scooped up during their trip? A unicorn costume for 4-year-old Vivienne and a dinosaur stuffed toy for her twin brother.

“Angelina looked amazing! She definitely looked really healthy and she was really sweet. A few fans came up to her and she was beyond nice to them and talked to every single one of them,” an onlooker tells Us Weekly, adding that Vivienne wore her unicorn costume the entire time. “They were there for close to an hour and they had a pretty large purchase.”

LOL, Vivienne wearing the pink unicorn costume the whole time. I’m actually kind of surprised that Viv wanted to be a (pink!) unicorn. Don’t girly-girls all want to princesses and fairies and angels and such? I wonder what Knox is going to be…? Maybe that’s why Shiloh looked so grumpy. She and Knox both wanted to be pirates or cowboys or something. And what will Empress Zahara be for Halloween?! I need to know.

By the way, Angelina does look very healthy (for her) in these photos. She’s back to eating solids! HUZZAH. And nice Louis Vuitton cross-promotion, eh?

Over at Fame/Flynet, these photos are labeled “Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt spending the day at a park with their nannies in Studio City, California on October 27, 2012.” But Angelina Jolie was actually there! She stayed in the car and made some calls on her cell phone – you can see a shady photo of her here. Is that kind of weird? That she was all, “Go, children, play at the park with your nannies and I’m just going to stay in the car and make some calls.” Well, I guess Angelina is just showing us that she has nothing to prove, you know? If she was concerned about convincing us that she’s Mother Superior, she would have happily posed with her kids in the park. But since she stayed in the car, taking care of bidness, I feel like she’s telling us that Vivienne and Knox were driving her crazy so she took them to the park and let the nannies handle it.

Fame/Flynet also says that Knox mostly played by himself, but that Vivienne had a little friend. Who may or may not be Fax Cannes Jolie-Pitt, the mystery-gendered mystery Jolie-Pitt child…? No, of course not. Anyway, I love when we get new photos of the twins. I like the way they’re growing into their looks. Vivienne is such a little beauty, and such a girly-girl… so much pink! And Knox is a really adorable blend of both Brad and Angelina. Sometimes he looks like a mini-Brad, but I’m seeing some of Angelina in him nowadays too.

Vivienne is going to be making her big-screen debut with her mom in Maleficent, which I guess has wrapped…? Or are they finishing the production in LA? I have no idea. I thought the whole thing would be shot in England, so I guess production has wrapped now. Viv will play the young Princess Aurora, who is played by Elle Fanning. Last week, we heard that Pax and Empress Zahara also got small parts in the film too. No mention of Maddox or little Knox. Maybe Knox isn’t interested in movies. Maybe Brad finally got a little architect with Knox.

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt is going to be a star!! For real. Vivienne J-P, who is just 4 years old, has just been cast in her mom’s movie, Maleficent. This is not the first time a Jolie-Pitt child has worked with one of their parents – when Shiloh was just a baby, she had a small part in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. But you know what’s really sad? No one every tries to give Fax Cannes Jolie-Pitt any movie roles! Tragic. The Forgotten Jolie-Pitt.

The globetrotting tot will make her feature film debut opposite her Academy Award winning mom, Angelina Jolie, in Maleficent, a rep for Walt Disney Studios confirmed to Us Weekly August 22.

Knox’s 4-year-old twin sister will play the child version of Elle Fanning’s Princess Aurora in the live-action movie, a reimagining of the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty, told from the villainess’ perspective.

“It’s a really great script, and I’m having a lot of fun. I’ve already got my horns fitted,” Jolie told Entertainment Weekly of her titular role in March. “My kids are very happy.”

Jolie’s twins were spotted visiting her on set in Buckginhamshire, England, in late June. She and fiance Brad Pitt, 48, are also parents to Maddox, 11, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, and Shiloh, 6.

Like Jolie, Vivienne is breaking into showbiz at an early age. Jolie appeared onscreen for the first time at age 6 in the 1982 film Lookin’ to Get Out. Her father, Jon Voight, 73, starred and co-wrote the movie. But Vivienne isn’t the first Jolie-Pitt child to appear on the silver screen: A young Shiloh had a brief role in Pitt’s 2008 film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Other cast members in Maleficent include Juno Temple, Sam Riley, Brenton Thwaites, India Eisley, Miranda Richardson and Kenneth Cranham. The film is slated for a March 2014 release.

This is lovely, and I think Vivienne totally looks like a child version of Elle Fanning too. I wonder if the other Jolie-Pitt kids get jealous? You know a film role would fit right into Empress Zahara’s world domination plot. Surely one of her parents could get Z a juicy role? Anyway, as for this part – I can’t imagine it’s some stage-mother situation, or that Vivienne’s part is very big. It’s probably just some cool little thing that she can do with her mom.

Incidentally, I recently read this cool little quote from Sam Riley, who was discussing working with Angelina on Maleficent. Riley said, “She’s approachable but she has an aura of a star, certainly, you want to bow when she comes on set. I do in my character. She’s very nice, I know everyone says that about their colleagues but she’s very cool.” Sweet.

Here are some photos of Angelina Jolie out and about in New Orleans with three of her children. It’s a different mix of kids than usual – Pax, Zahara and Vivienne. Angelina took the three kids out to do some shopping hours after the Make It Right gala on Saturday night. Since so many people bitched and moaned about last week’s post regarding Shiloh, Maddox and Zahara‘s outing with Jacques the bulldog, I’m going to do the EXACT SAME THING. Random thoughts in bullet points, y’all.

*First of all, Angelina’s blouse/poncho thing is either really, really unflattering and oversized OR she’s pregnant. I understand wearing loose, comfortable clothes in your downtime (or any time), but really, Angie? A giant black poncho?

*No Jacques the bulldog! Booooo.

*Pax is starting to remind me of this classmate of mine in college. This classmate was like the Vietnamese Mick Jagger. I think it’s Pax’s shaggy, Jagger-esque haircut. And the fact that Pax has moves like Jagger. If Jagger was performing a one-man review of West Side Story. *snaps fingers* When you’re a Jet, you’re a Jet all the way!!! GAAAH!!!!

*I just love how Zahara pulls together an outfit. Pale pink sundress, red shoes, and then she goes with the red theme by putting a red flower in her hair. GORGE!

*Vivienne is too cute with her little red shoes too. And she’s finally gotten out of that stage where she looks like she’s going to cry all the time.

*Does Zahara have blue ribbons done into her braids? That’s cute. Keep that in mind for spring and summer looks, ladies. Zahara is ahead of the curve.

How cute are these photos? Yesterday, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took the Empress, Shiloh, and the twins to a puppet show in England. The show is called “the Puppet Theatre Barge” which takes place literally on a barge on the Thames. From the stuffed animals the kids are holding, my guess is that part of the puppet show involves dinosaurs, right?

Anyway, these are some of the first photos of Vivienne where I didn’t feel like she was on a cusp of a major hissy. I’ve always said that about Viv – she just has one of those faces where she always looks like she’s about to break out in an earth-shattering wail. But now she’s a big girl, and her mom even let her walk on her own, and she looks happier – Brad is carrying Knox, who definitely seems like the more easy-going twin. I think Knox looks a hell of a lot like Brad, don’t you? Although Knox’s hair looks like it’s got some ginger to it. I swear, Knox is going to end up looking like Michael Fassbender. And that’s going to be awesome.

Thoughts on Vivienne’s oufit? She seems to like more girlish ensembles – at her age, Shiloh was already dressing like a tomboy, so at least we’re going to be spared tabloid covers about how Vivienne is 3-year-old lesbian, because she wears dockers and likes to play rough with her brothers. I like Viv’s little Mary Janes! So cute.

Empress Zahara is already on the phone with her attorneys, don’t worry. Star Magazine, acting on a nine-month-old National Enquirer story that was pretty much identical, claims in a round-about way that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s youngest children, twins Knox and Vivienne, have Down Syndrome. The proof? Well, there is none. According to Jezebel’s synposis, Star just points out there is “speculation” and an insider says that the twins “are taking longer to grasp things.” Oh, and while the family visited Brad’s family over New Year’s, random Missourians “wondered if there was something wrong with the twins. It just seemed like something was off.” A source also says that “An employee recently voiced concerns, and Angelina freaked out.”

So… instead of even pretending this is anything other than a horrible (and unoriginal) tabloid piece of crap, let’s talk about whether or not Angelina and Brad (and the Empress) should sue. I think they should – for once, send the message to the tabloids that all of this nasty speculation about the kids is beyond the realm of acceptability. Of course, Angelina and Brad didn’t sue when the Enquirer reported an identical story last year, nor did they sue when Life & Style ran repeated Shiloh-is-a-lesbian-because-she-wears-pants covers. Do they just think that if they ignore it, this too shall pass? Or do they figure that the public backlash against these tabloids will be enough? I don’t know, I honestly don’t. I do know that Fax Cannes “Mystery” Jolie-Pitt is dyslexic, though. And it’s nothing to be ashamed of.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt brought out the twins! By the way, did you know The Tourist opens on Friday? Yeah, it’s a little obvious. But I love when the twins come out, so I’m not complaining. The family Jolie-Pitt are back stateside, and last night they took the twins out to an art supply store in New York City. Angelina held the chubby-cheeked (squishy!) Vivienne, and Brad is holding Knox, I believe. I also believe is was Knox who got to go out in the snow with Angelina last week. Or hey, maybe it’s still Fax Cannes. God knows. Viv is a shy little thing, and this is one of the better shots of her:

Meanwhile, Knox seems less reticent – he also looks a lot like Shiloh, I think.

Ugh, I was really hoping to ignore this story, but whatever. The National Enquirer’s cover story this week is about whether Brad and Angelina’s twins have Down Syndrome. We haven’t been able to read the full cover story yet, so the Enquirer’s reporting is drawn from other sources. Apparently, the Enquirer reports that Knox and Vivienne are “battling secret health issues and MAY even have Down Syndrome.” The Enquirer prints the speculation without any kind of confirmation. Babble does have this however:

The newest issue of National Enquirer shouts: “Twins Health Shocker! Tragic Down Syndrome Reports Surrounding Vivienne & Knox.”

That’s a really heavy claim. Is there any truth?

Let’s take a look inside at the facts.

Well, there are none. Several commenters on the Internet believe that the children look like they have DS.

“They hate that their kids are under such intense observation. It’s very difficult for them to deal with. As far as their concerned, Knox and Vivienne are perfect. Brad and Angie aren’t the type to sweep sensitive issues under the carpet,” a friend of the couple says.

“The twins are healthy, but if there were medical problems with them, I think Brad and Angie would subtly try to destigmatize the issue by not hiding them.”

I agree. Angelina and Brad are both outspoken about issues that concern them, so it’s likely that if the twins or any of their children were suffering a disease they wouldn’t hide it.

Yes, I think they would have said something too, if there were health problems or if the twins had Down Syndrome. Much like the Shiloh-is-a-lesbian-because-of-her-hair speculation, I just wish the tabloids and the frothing-at-the-mouth Brangelina-haters would take a moment and just realize that this kind of wild, asinine speculation about children blows. It’s nasty, it’s horrible, and it should end.

And not to put too fine a point on this, I think what some people see as “Down Syndrome” is really just the twins’ genetic predispositions for Brad’s open-mouthed, dumb expressions.

Here are some new photos of Angelina and the twins out on the balcony with Brad’s mom Jane. Jane seems pretty absorbed in pointing something out to Knox, while Vivienne seems to always be in a state of pre-tantrum. Perhaps the sun is in her eyes? All I know is that she seems to have to that “3 seconds to go from quiet to blood-curdling scream” look on her face. I know babies. That baby is a wailer. By the by, you know that Star Mag story from this morning about Angelina being knocked up? “Totally false,” says some random “source” to >People Magazine. Shocking!
