Tori Spelling gains some weight, shows off her gorgeous babies

fp_3205233_spelling_mcdermott_rgt_062809

How did Tori Spelling end up with such absolutely gorgeous children? I’m not trying to be rude, honestly. I’m not one of those Tori Spelling haters – I actually enjoy reading about her, and I think she’s a lot smarter than people give her credit for. But she’s not some great beauty, and her husband/baby-daddy Dean McDermott is attractive but not pretty. So how did Tori and Dean get such beautiful, angelic, gorgeous children? I literally have no idea.

These photos are from Sunday, when Tori and Dean brought their kids Liam and Stella along to an outdoor charity event in Los Angeles. Denise Richards was also in attendance, but it seems Tori and her kids stole the show. Not only is Stella one of the cutest babies, Tori is looking a lot better lately too – she gained some weight back and her arms aren’t looking as emaciated. Hopefully the drama with her mom is over, and Tori can get back on a healthier track. Team Tori!

Tori hadn’t given many interviews as of late, but she did release a very sweet statement after Farrah Fawcett’s death. Tori said, “Farrah was an inspiration to all and had the most amazing spirit. She was one of the kindest, sweetest, and funniest women of I’ve had the privilege of knowing and I’m proud to have called her a friend. Her smile will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with her family.”

Dean McDermott gets 4th tattoo to proclaim ‘undying love’ for Tori Spelling

deantattoos
When Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott gush to the press about their love for each other I’m reminded of this first person account MSat pointed out to me. McDermott’s ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, detailed how she was coldly dumped by her husband of 12 years for for Tori right after they adopted a baby girl. He told her, “[Tori and I are] soulmates. She loves me unconditionally” while Eustace countered “You’ve know each other three weeks…. we just adopted a baby.” McDermott told her “I’m not leaving the kids, I’m leaving you.” They also have an 11 year-old son together, Jack, with whom they share joint custody.

So when I heard that McDermott got another tattoo for Tori to represent their “undying love” it made me think that he’s a selfish ass and that he and Tori deserve each other. At least this tattoo is of something other than Tori’s mug. He also has a tattoo of Tori’s face on his left tricep, a gothic cross with “Tori girl” down it on his left forearm, and a photo of an Angel’s ass with the the words “Truly, Madly, Deeply Tori” on his right forearm. (Thanks to WENN for those details, photos below)

Dean McDermott had so many ways he wanted to celebrate Tori Spelling’s 36th birthday that he took a long weekend to do them all.

On May 14, the actor surprised his wife with a new tattoo: A large Koi fish symbolizing Tori, a tiger representing Dean, and three baby Koi fish for Liam, 2, Stella, 11 months, and (McDermott’s son from a previous marriage) Jack, 10. The tattoo also featured peonies, which stand for health and prosperity, and the word “forever.”

“I did it to profess my undying love for my gorgeous wife and beautiful children,” McDermott says of the creation, which took Tim Hendricks at Spotlight Tattoo in Hollywood seven hours to complete. “She loved it when I revealed it to her. She thinks it’s beautiful, chic and sexy.”

The following day – Tori’s actual birthday – McDermott whisked her off for a weekend at hotel Casa del Mar in Santa Monica. And Saturday night, it was time for a party at the Vicery hotel, including a birthday cake from Hansen’s Cakes. Says McDermott: “She was totally surprised when she saw all her friends there. It was awesome and she had a wonderful time.”

The weekend was capped off with a surfing lesson on Sunday morning. “When we were flying home from Canada, where we first met [on the set of the 2006 TV movie Mind Over Murder], we wrote down everything we wanted to do together,” says McDermott. “Surfing was one of them and I wanted her to have that experience.”

“I wanted her to have a special birthday because she’s the love of my life,” he says of the weekend. “She deserves the world.”

[From People]

Tori was also married when she met Dean and recently described the first time she saw him on the set of a Lifetime movie they co-starred in together as “like a million blocks of hearts just fell on me,” conveniently forgetting to mention that they were both married at the time. That’s sweet if Dean is so into pampering her and proclaiming his love, but it’s hard to forget how these two hooked up and all the people they hurt in the process. Dean also buys Tori a ring for every year they’ve been married. I wonder if she’ll keep collecting them or if his love will fade and he’ll move on to some other “soul mate,” saying she understands him so much better. He’s going to have a lot of tattoos to re-do if that happens.

Thanks to WENN.com for these photos of Dean’s many Tori tattoos. We have yet to see the one with the fish, but he’ll show it soon for sure.

Tori Spelling gets a new ring for each wedding anniversary

fp_2173449_tori_spelling_shows_off_pin_thin_legs_in_skintight_mini_

I go back and forth on whether I can’t stand or can mildly tolerate Tori Spelling. She can come across as remarkably likeable, especially in her books, where she’s open and honest about motherhood in a way few celebrities would be. But then she’ll have one of her classic overshare moments and I wind up feeling sick to my stomach.

I’ve never been really impressed with her husband Dean McDermott – he just struck me as someone who jumped on a better gravy train when it passed through town. Not that Tori was innocent in him leaving his wife for her. But he’s slightly redeemed himself. It turns out he does something pretty romantic for their wedding anniversaries: buys her a new ring for each one.

Dean McDermott is keeping his promise to buy Tori Spelling a new wedding ring every anniversary. This year, the actor took his wife to dinner at Hollywood hotspot Mr. Chow and surprised her with a Neil Lane sparkler. “I love the tradition Dean has started,” Spelling exclusively tells PEOPLE. “Every year when he slips it on my ring finger, it reminds me of the day he made me his wife and we started our amazing journey together as one.”

The antique French ring consists of a round white diamond and a fancy round yellow diamond set side by side, symbolizing the expression “Toi et Moi”, or “You and Me”. “I can’t wait to one day pass on my amazing wedding band collection to my kids and their kids,” says Spelling, who is mom to daughter Stella, 11 months and son Liam, 2.

[From People via Gossip Rocks]

I’m not going to lie, a new ring every year would make me like a lot of guys I would otherwise feel neutral about. Not like them enough to marry them or anything, but let’s say he was a friend’s husband and I thought he was just so-so… good jewelry would definitely raise my opinion of him. That’s pretty sad.

You can see a picture of the ring here. It’s not really my taste – I don’t generally care for mixed metals, and the “yellow” diamond (which looks brown in the picture) next to the white diamond doesn’t really do it for me. I would like it if it were all one metal and two matching diamonds. But I’m going to let Dean slide on this one, because it’s the thought that counts. He should probably send me some jewelry for that.

Here are Tori and Dean out celebrating their anniversary at Mr. Chows on May 7th. Images thanks to Fame Pictures .

Tori Spelling shares an epic TMI in new book (warning: nasty)

archive tori spelling 280409

Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott are really open. Far, far too open. I don’t care what you think about Tori, whether you think she’s hot or hideous. Or what you think about him. Or really, what you think about anyone. There are just some things you don’t ever want to know about, no matter who it pertains to.

Yesterday, Dean shared way too much about his libido.

“I happen to be a Scorpio and I happen to be robust,” says McDermott. “Can you blame me? Look at my wife. She’s the most beautiful girl in the world and has the hottest body — I’d be lying if i didn’t want to have sex with her six times a day…I was toasting that the sex was down from six times a day to three and a half.”

[From Seriously? OMG! WTF?]

I really thought that was about as much as I could take, but now Tori’s decided to chime in with some even more out-of-line over-shares from her new book.

“I wasn’t prepared for losing sight of my lower region. I’d say, ‘Dean, how’s it looking down there? Do I need to shave?’ But of course I couldn’t shave. So Dean had to shave me. He’d hold up a mirror and say ‘How’d I do?’ Or he’d take a picture with his Blackberry to show me.”

[From Tori’s book Mommywood, via Gossip Rocks]

Just… just… can’t form the sentences. An epic shudder just ran through my body. And I’m in New York City right now, where it has been between 89 – 95 degrees since Saturday. It takes a hell of a lot of creepiness to get a shudder out of me in this heat. Now I don’t want to be unhip, but is shaving really your biggest priority when you’re pregnant? I’m not trying to imply you shouldn’t feel pretty. And I’ve never been pregnant. But when I’m carrying a human being inside me, I’ll be dammed if I’m going to care that things are groomed just right. I just doubt it’s going to be on my list of priorities.

But it clearly is for Tori. Okay, I can accept that. But why, why does she have to tell us about it? And in such vivid, clear terms? I mean I can actually envision this in my mind as though I were there. When I’m old and senile and faded memories are all I can recall, I will remember this so clearly that I will actually think I was there. And I will be so confused about why I watched Dean shave Tori. But it’s so clear in my mind that I won’t be able to talk myself out of it.

I like celebs that don’t have a lot of pretense. But there is a line. And this is a good twenty miles past it.

Tori Spelling on her instant love connection with also-married Dean on set

Tori Spelling has a new video interview posted on US Weekly’s website, and the more she talks the more I find myself rolling my eyes and hoping she’ll go away. She’s promoting her latest book, Mommywood, and continues to talk about her allegedly difficult weight loss and her estranged relationship with her mother, which has been playing out in the media. All of that is somewhat old news, but one thing that surprised me is that Tori, like some other high-profile cheaters before her, is willing to talk about falling in love with also-married Dean McDermott on the set of a Lifetime movie of the week. In fact Tori goes into surprising detail about the moment she met Dean.

Tori described when she first saw Dean as “like a million blocks of hearts first fell on me,” and added that she knew right then that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. She just happened to be married at the time to someone else, and so was Dean. In fact, Dean was in the process of adopting a child with his wife.

“I’ve never had a connection [with a co-star]. With Dean it was different. I remember the moment… literally I was sitting with the director, he said ‘Your co-star is here,’… it was like a million blocks of hearts just fell on me. And I saw him and I was like ‘oh my gosh.’ I’ll never forget that moment seeing him and I just knew. And that was it, ‘there’s the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. He’s gonna father my children, and he’s my soul mate.’… I fell madly in love.

[Roughly transcribed from Tori Spelling's interview with US Weekly, shown above]

No mention of her husband, no mention of Dean’s wife, just “there’s the man I want to spend the rest of my life with.” It’s a good thing for Tori that Dean reciprocated, because if he didn’t she would have had to fall back on the guy she had already pledged to spend the rest of her life with.

Candy Spelling has never met her granddaughter

wenn2348383
Candy Spelling is playing the victim card relentlessly. The widow of super-producer Aaron Spelling is selling her 56,000 square foot mansion, promoting her memoir Stories From Candyland, and talking about how her daughter doesn’t want her poor old mother in her life any more.

Candy claims that Tori and her husband Dean never visit her and never let her see her grandchildren. Candy says she would have kept her mansion, for her grandkids, “If I had any hope that I would have a relationship with my grandchildren I would never sell this house. I’ve fantasized for years about a wonderful playhouse on the grounds for children.” Candy also claims she’s never even met her granddaughter Stella. People has more:

Candy Spelling is starting a new chapter in her life, which includes writing a frank memoir called Stories From Candyland – and selling the $150 million, 56,000-square-foot mansion where she’s lived since 1991.

Spelling, whose book is due out March 31, plans to move from her five-acre French Chateau-style mansion into a $47 million condo with 17,000 square feet; the same footage as her current attic. But she tells PEOPLE that she’d never have put Spelling Manor on the market if she thought she’d reconcile with her estranged daughter Tori, her husband Dean, and their two children, Liam and Stella.

“I don’t see Tori and Dean anymore,” the 63-year-old grandmother tells PEOPLE. “I used to see Liam, but no longer. And I’ve never met Stella.”

Spelling, who was married to producer Aaron Spelling for 37 years before his death in 2007, says she’s not sure why Tori is angry with her. “I’ve tried to talk to her, but that doesn’t work. She may not even know why she’s angry.” When called by PEOPLE, a rep for Tori Spelling had no comment.

Despite the family’s fracturing, Spelling says: “If I had any hope that I would have a relationship with my grandchildren I would never sell this house. I’ve fantasized for years about a wonderful playhouse on the grounds for children.”

Although she spent four years planning the home before she moved in, she’s selling it now because, “It’s just me in this big house,” explains Spelling.

Still, she hasn’t lost hope entirely. She made sure there is a playroom in her new condo in case the grandkids ever do visit.

“Someday my grandchildren will know who I am because of the trust funds I’ve set up, but I would like to be part of their lives now,” says Spelling. “I would have loved to have built that playhouse for them.”

From People Magazine

I don’t really know what to think of all this – I’m not a fan of Tori Spelling, but I don’t really think she’s a horrible, malicious person. Candy has said and done some pretty harsh things to her daughter throughout the years, and Tori might have just had enough. There were rumors after Aaron Spelling’s death that Candy was using Aaron’s estate in an attempt to control her daughter. There was also a rumor that Candy doesn’t really care for Dean. All of this seems like a half-decent explanation for why Tori has cut her mother out of her life.

Tori Spelling says her new baby daughter was a ‘happy accident’

Tori Spelling and her new baby are on the cover of this week’s OK! Magazine. Inside the mag are photos of Tori and her stolen husband, Dean McDermott, along with their son Liam, who started out a little iffy in the looks department but is now a bona fide cutie pants. In the interview, Tori admits that she and Dean were not planning for a second child- in fact, she had been on birth control pills.

She’s a miracle,” Spelling tells OK!. “I was on one pill and wasn’t feeling well, so I went off of it. Two days later, the doctor put me on another, and on that one day, we conceived. It was meant to be!”

“My first thought was, ‘My god, she’s so beautiful,’” Tori gushes. “My second thought was, ‘Oh my god, she has black hair! Where did that come from?’ [laughs] Liam has blonde hair and is very fair. She was born with black hair, very tan.”

Tori continues, “I never thought I’d have a daughter. Dean’s first child [Jack] is a boy and then we had Liam and I thought, ‘Because I’m so girly-girly, I’ll have all boys.’ ”

Dean agrees, adding, “When I saw Stella for the first time, I just bawled my face off out of pure joy. I’ve always heard that there’s nothing like that bond between father and daughter. There is nothing like it — you feel it that moment. It hit me like a ton of bricks. Little boys are awesome. They’re just like a little you. But having a little girl is something else. As a man, you just lose it.”

[From OK!]

Uh, Tori? We all know you are NOT a natural blond, so who do you think you are kidding with this “Where’d Stella get the dark hair from” bit? Puh-lease. Stella is a very cute baby, but I’m not totally sold on the name. “Stella Doreen.” That sounds rather trailer park-ish. I just picture a girl in cutoff shorts with huge mall bangs. But maybe it’ll grow on me, like “Honor” did.

Thanks to OK! Magazine for the header photo, where there are more pictures of baby Stella.

Tori Spelling has baby number two

Tori spelling has popped out baby number 2 – a little girl named Stella Doreen McDermott. She was born Monday, June 9th at 3:13 p.m. PT by scheduled c-section and weighed 6 lbs 8 oz. Which is 3.09 kilos. I really like the name Stella, it’s very classic.

Tori’s rep tells OK!, “She’s here! She’s a healthy baby girl. Tori and baby are resting comfortably.”

Stella, whose middle name Doreen is after Dean’s late mother, is the second child for Tori and her husband, Dean McDermott. The pair, whose Oxygen reality show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood launches its third season on June 17, are already parents to Liam, 1.

Although having two children under the age of 2 will be a challenge, Tori and Dean do believe parenthood will be easier the second time around.

“You’re a little more laid-back with your second child,” he told OK! last month. “You’re not as anxious. You’re not as frightened. They trip and fall, and you’re a little more laid-back about it and realize they don’t break.”

OK! Magazine

Actually, you aren’t more laid back, you’re just so sleep deprived and confused you no longer have the ability to feel anxiety or fright. At least in my experience.

Congratulations to Tori, Dean and big brother Liam. We look forward to seeing your new arrival in magazines and on reality television soon.

Note by Celebitchy: Tori Spelling is shown in the header out Sunday on Sunset Boulevard. She must have known it was her last day to be photographed before the new baby as her c-section was already scheduled for Monday at that point. She’s also shown at a hair salon on Saturday, and out on 6/1 for comparison. She seems to have had her roots dyed in preparation for the baby. Supposedly most doctors say it’s ok to dye your hair while pregnant, but you should probably wait until after the first trimester.

California fires threaten Tori Spelling’s B&B

top-prn-008550.jpg

Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott’s Bed & Breakfast (which she claims to own but several documents have shown she in fact just rents) Chateau La Rue may burn to the ground! Now fire is nothing to joke about, and the California wildfires are particularly shocking right now – they stretch all the way from south of San Diego to north of Los Angeles. But it’s hard to root for someone as obnoxious as Tori Spelling. So I’m just going to root for the fire to get under control, because I can’t specifically root for her. I bet she’s sitting there thinking, “This will make for such a dramatic episode for our show.” And then she realizes that if the B&B burns down they won’t have a show anymore. So she tries to open her eyes really wide in shock, and then realizes they always look that way.

The raging wildfires in Southern California are threatening thousands of homes: among them, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s newly renovated bed and breakfast, Chateau La Rue, in Fallbrook, Calif., about 100 miles southeast of Los Angeles. Spelling and Dean were in L.A. on Monday at ABC’s filming of Dancing with the Stars, supporting Spelling’s former 90210 castmate Jennie Garth. But their thoughts were elsewhere.

On the way to the studio, “We got a call that our Temecula [wine country] B&B was being evacuated,” Spelling told PEOPLE. “We had a lot on our minds tonight. We have friends who are watching [the situation].” McDermott added, “We don’t know the extent of it. There were guests on their way [to the B&B], but they were notified and sent back. The whole town of Fallbrook was evacuated.”

The inn is the setting for the couple’s reality show, Tori & Dean: Inn Love, on the Oxygen network. The pair also spoke to Entertainment Tonight, telling the TV show, “Fallbrook is obviously very near and dear to our hearts, so we’re really worried about the people that live there, there are such great people in that little town.”

[From People]

Oh Tori Spelling. If I had any reason to believe you gave a damn about the sweet people of Fallbrook, I might have an inkling of compassion for you. But I’m pretty sure your life revolves around taking your pug for walks in his special dog stroller and stealing other people’s husbands. I looked over the woefully inadequate website for their B&B (which was named after said pug, Mimi La Rue) and found this little hospitality gem: “We extend our warmest welcome to you, and aim to share a slice of the pampering that Mimi la Rue currently enjoys!” Translation: you pay a lot of money to stay here, and we’ll treat you almost as well as we treat our dog! I wonder if that means Tori will walk the guests in special strollers too.
