Madonna sends 16-year-old Lourdes on dates with a chaperone: poor Lourdes?

Madonna Lourdes Leon

As Kaiser reported in April, Lourdes Leon is currently dating her schoolmate (from LaGuardia Performing Arts High School) Timothee Chalame, who also appears as the Vice President’s son on “Homeland.” She’s 16, and he’s 17, so it seems like a very appropriate relationship and not one that would automatically throw up red flags for any parent other than the obligatory, “OMG, my daughter has a boyfriend.”

Still, Lourdes doesn’t have any ordinary mother. She’s the daughter of Madonna, who is notoriously overprotective perhaps because mom knows very well what acts young people are capable of getting away with. Because, you know, Madonna herself still behaves like a youngun. Timothee seems like a good kid though even if there’s a Bieber-esque vibe to his fashion taste. Here’s some photos from his Instagram, and he seems to have a sense of humor about himself:

Timothee Chalamet

Timothee Chalamet

Even though this kid seems alright, Madonna isn’t taking any chances here. She’s making Lourdes take a paid chaperone on every single date with Timothee. Does this sound reasonable?

Strict Madonna finally let her daughter Lourdes Leon go on a date with her boyfriend, “Homeland” star Timothee Chalamet, without parental supervision. But the Material Girl sent a burly chaperone to keep a very close eye on the young couple. Lourdes, 16, and Timothee, 17, classmates at LaGuardia HS of Music & Art and Performing Arts on the Upper West Side, were spotted Saturday night at Brother Jimmy’s BBQ on Second Avenue. Page Six exclusively reported in April that the two were dating, and shortly after, they were spotted on a double date with Lourdes’ father, Carlos Leon, and his fiancee. But on Saturday, Lourdes escaped the watchful eye of her protective parents to have dinner chaperoned by one of Madge’s bodyguards. While the lovebirds sat at a corner table, the guard sat at another and “never took his eyes off of them,” a source told us. Spies told us Timothee reached a few times across the table and grabbed his date’s hand. “They were leaning close together to talk before food came. He was making her laugh a lot,” a spy said. The teens went Dutch on the $51 bill. When the date was over, the bodyguard swiftly escorted the two to a chauffeured car. Timothee, whose character on “Homeland” was aptly shadowed by Secret Service agents on dates, graduates this year. Lourdes graduates in 2014. Madonna recently told “Extra” about Lourdes’ companion, “She has a very nice boyfriend.” But asked if that was Chalamet, she turned coy and said, “I don’t know!”

[From Page Six]

The case could certainly be made that Madge was merely providing Lourdes and Timothee with a bodyguard to actually protect them rather than to make sure they didn’t get to second base. After all, the world is a very dangerous place for anyone, and celebrity kids make very attractive targets not only from civilian gawking but also from sickos who would seek to do them harm. At the same time, I think there’s part of Madge who remembers exactly what goes on in teenagers’ minds (after all, she pretty much still dates teenagers herself), so Madge is using the “security” excuse to make sure Timothee doesn’t see fit to put some serious moves on her daughter. At a certain point though, Madge is going to have to stop doing this. Lourdes can’t walk around with a chaperone forever. At least, not after she turns 18!

Lourdes Leon has a teenage boyfriend, ‘Homeland’ star Timothée Chalamet

This information will probably only be interesting to people who watched season 2 of Homeland. You know the kid who played the Vice President’s son Finn? Finn got involved with Dana Brody, Nicolas Brody’s teenage daughter. Spoiler for last season: Finn and Dana had a quick courtship but on their first date, Finn ditched his Secret Service protection and ended up pulling a hit-and-run on a pedestrian, and then Dana and Finn had a terrible secret that haunted their storylines for the whole season. Anyway, Finn is played by Timothée Chalamet, and apparently Chalamet goes to La Guardia High School of Music & Art. That is coincidentally Lourdes Leon’s school too. So they met and fell in love and now it’s super-cute.

Madonna’s 16-year-old daughter, Lourdes Leon, has been dating “Homeland” star Timothée Chalamet, who plays the vice president’s son Finn Walden on the hit “Showtime” series, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

The pair met at La Guardia High School of Music & Art & Performing Arts on the Upper West Side, where Timothée’s in the class of 2013. Lourdes, who is reportedly studying drama, graduates next year from the school, which was the inspiration for the 1980 film “Fame.”

A source told us, “It’s common knowledge at the school that the pair are dating.” When contacted about the teenage romance, a spokeswoman for Madonna declined to comment. Reps for Timothée didn’t get back to us last night.

New York Magazine recently featured Lourdes and Timothée, along with other students at the school, in its “Reasons To Love New York” issue, under, “Because La Guardia High School Is Still Churning Out Talent.”

Timothée also appeared in USA Network’s “Royal Pains,” but is best known for playing the son of Vice President Walden on “Homeland” who accidentally kills a pedestrian during a joy ride around Washington, DC, with Sgt. Nicholas Brody’s daughter Dana, played by Morgan Saylor.

Lourdes is Madonna’s daughter with actor and personal trainer Carlos Leon, who, incidentally, is marrying his Danish girlfriend Bettina Holtz this summer.

Leon, who starred in the 2011 movie “Immigration Tango,” is famously protective over Lourdes. He told People at the time of the film’s release, “I got the best thing out of that relationship, and that’s my daughter. My daughter is everything to me.”

He said Lourdes, then 14, wasn’t dating yet, but he knew it was coming: “I’m dreading it . . . because she’s my little girl. I want her to stay young forever. I’m already overprotective, so when the time comes, I will be ready to have a talk with the guy she brings through the door. He better be ready, because I’ll give him the rundown!”

[From Page Six]

From the way he’s being described, I would say that Chalamet is probably 17 or 18 years old, which to me is a perfectly acceptable age for a 16-year-old Lourdes. While I think Finn was poorly written on Homeland (all of the child characters are poorly written, it’s a problem), Chalamet did make an impression on me. He was exactly the kind of kid I would have gone for if I was Dana Brody – he seemed sensitive, but take-charge. He wasn’t just some dumb jock-type. He pursued Dana, and she liked it. And then it all went to hell. And then some other stuff happened (spoiler!) and I seriously doubt we’ll be seeing Finn again.

Lourdes Leon fighting with her mom about Kabbalah, spending summer in Israel

Back in the day, Madonna used to do “controversial” things (for the time) involving sex and religion and race and the overwhelming subtext seemed to be “Madonna was raised in a conservative Catholic house and she’s still rebelling against all of that.” To hear Madonna talk about it, being raised a Catholic really messed her up. To hear her talk about it, no one should be raised in a rigidly dogmatic home. And then she found Kabbalah (or the celebrity version of the real Kabbalah) and she started having kids and BAM, she found a religion she could deal with. Madonna became Esther and she wore the red string and she talked about how her Kabbalah faith made her a better person. She’s raised her children inside Kabbalah – when Guy Ritchie is in New York, he even visits the Kabbalah center.

So what of Madonna’s oldest child, Lourdes? Lola has spent her life as a Kabbalist (?). And now Lola is rebelling against the dogmas of her mother’s conservative religion. The cat’s in the cradle and the silver spoon…

Having Madonna as your mom isn’t easy – just ask her daughter, Lourdes. The 16-year-old is in a standoff with her mother over religion.

“Madonna is very controlling and Lourdes has had it,” a source says. “She is sick and tired of her mother forcing Kabbalah on her and she’s starting to fight back.”

Madonna has been a devout follower of the Jewish teachings for years, but Lourdes wants to make her own choices – and holiday plans.

“Things came to a head over Madonna’s wish for Lourdes to spend the summer in Israel… Lourdes is horrified and told her mother there is no way she’s going.”

[From Star Magazine, print edition]

The whole “sending your teenage daughter to Israel” thing seems… familiar? Oh, I know why. That was a minor storyline on The Good Wife. Eli Gold didn’t want his teenage daughter to spend her summer vacation in an Israeli Kibbutz, and she blackmailed him into it, I believe. Honestly, I would love to spend a summer in Israel. That sounds like a wonderful experience to have if you’re a young woman. But I’m not Lola. Lola is rebelling! Lola is rebelling in exactly the same way her mother rebelled. No, scratch that – Madonna’s rebellion was so much more typical. Lola is one of the first kids raised solely in the celebrity Kabbalah movement. So this should get interesting.

Lourdes Leon blogs about her ‘summer job’ working for her mom’s European tour

I always forget that Lourdes Leon has her own little blog. She does! She blogs for the Material Girl Collection, which she co-designs or whatever for Macy’s. Lola is a little entrepreneur, and she writes like a teenager (a funny, self-aware teenager), which makes her blog posts extra-interesting. The theme of her most recent blog post is “What I did on my summer break” and “I hate going back to school”. Typical teenage dramz, of course, except that Lola is Madonna’s daughter, so Lola spent her summer working for Madge’s tour, and “back to school” for Lola involves balancing school work with her Material Girl line. Here’s Lola’s blog post, called “The Joys of Folding Underwear”.

Aloha to all, I trust your summers were spent well and you got nothing very productive done because that’s usually how I spend mine. If you’re someone who leaves summer reading to the last week of summer you know what I’m talking about.

Actually this summer I was SURPRISINGLY productive. So, I thought I would tell you all about the joys of folding underwear. As you probably know this woman I like to call my mother went on tour for her MDNA album. As a summer job I decided to work in the wardrobe department. All of my friends were getting summer jobs and I wanted one too. Mine was a little unconventional but still a great experience and a lot of fun. Being in the wardrobe department meant me and a few other girls dressed the dancers during the show when they had quick changes. Thirty seconds to totally dress a sweaty dancer can be insane and provoke mucho anxiety. Doing this night after night was pretty cray, but I loved every minute of it!

Besides being able to travel the world and visiting all these amazing countries (my favorites were Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Turkey) it’s really a great experience to be able to work on a large production, traveling around like a family, setting up for an amazing show and all having the same purpose. I developed really good relationships with a number of people, not just in wardrobe but in other departments too. Dancers, singers, sound crew, catering, etc. To be able to be a part of such an inspiring production was one of my best summers so far.

Besides summer coming and leaving faster than you can say ohmygoditsaflyingpigwithgreenfeetandnobutthole, the school year has officially started for those you who are still students. When I get ready for school in the moring I move at a slothlike pace and music gets me slightly more motivated.

Here are a few fave songs that I would recommend:

-Lana Del Rey; National Anthem
-Yeah Yeah Yeah; Heads will roll ( A-Track Remix)
-Slightly Stoopid; Closer to the sun
-Skrillex; Kyoto
-Peaches; Mommy Complex
-Neon Indian; Hex Girlfriend
-Grimes; Oblivion
-Fiona Apple; Criminal
-Friends; Friend Crush.

Okee so those are a few of my idontwanttogotoschoolbutiwillforcemyselfto sounds. As for back to school clothes – my go-to article of clothing has been American Apparel’s circle scarf. It’s so versatile – there are tons of ways you can wear it.

Hope all of you guys had and are having a great start to your school year always remember to choose hugs not drugs because THAT’S always been MY moto.

Stay in school bitches and make sure you are getting proper nutrients all day urrday.

PEACE!

Lola.xo

[Lola’s Material Girl Blog]

I didn’t edit this at all. That’s how she spells “motto”. And she uses words like “urrday” (which is funny) and “ohmygoditsaflyingpigwithgreenfeetandnobutthole” (which is kind of try-hard). As for the whole vibe that Lola gives… she’s a teenager! I like the fact that she worked behind-the-scenes on her mom’s tour, and that she seems to have inherited (or been given from her parents) a work ethic instead of a veneer of entitlement. Long live Lola Leon!

Lourdes Leon’s rebellion: she’s going to college & she’ll pay her own way

Lourdes Leon is just about to celebrate her 16th birthday. How time flies, right? She turns 16 this week, which should be very exciting for her. I wonder if she’ll get her driver’s license? Probably not. Lola’s homebase is New York City, but she was also raised partially in London as well. Neither are big driving towns, so my guess is that she’ll probably wait another year or so to get her license. Anyway, like many girls at this age, Lola thinks her mom is crazy, and Lola is bristling against her mom’s oppressive, Draconian rules. So Lola is counting the days until she gets the hell out. But her mother is Madonna: the rules Lola’s mom imposes are probably a lot different than the rules most mothers-of-teenagers impose, you know? Which means that Lola’s teenage angst and need to rebel looks decided different than most. According to The Mail, Lola wants to rebel against her mom by… going to college. And paying for college by herself.

Little girls grow up fast. Madonna’s firstborn daughter, Lourdes, is preparing the leave her mother’s nest and live on her own.

The 16-year-old girl is said to be planning her escape to the performing arts school Bard College outside of New York to flee from her mother’s strict rules, and she plans on paying for it herself. Lourdes is said to be fed up with her mother’s strict parenting rules, and her rebellious nature now sees her planning to leave home.

And the young girl is so desperate to be independent, she wants to pay her own way through college, The Sun reports.

Lourdes has teamed up with her mother to create the teenage clothing line Material Girl, and will presumably use the money she earned through that to pay the expensive college fees.

A source has said: ‘Lourdes can’t wait to leave home and get to university. She’s already planned it all. She’s also fed up being in the spotlight. That’s why she didn’t go on stage during Madonna’s tour.’

The oldest offspring of Madonna, 54, will leave her three siblings behind, Rocco, 12, David Banda, 7, and Mercy James, 6.

[From The Mail]

Believe it or not, I think Lola is a very smart girl, and I do think Madge put a lot of focus on Lola’s education – didn’t Lola go to Lycee Francais schools? Which are the same schools that a lot of diplomats’ children attend, and the curriculum is very focused more on university-preparedness. It’s not unheard of for someone to graduate from those schools at the age of 16, and Bard College would probably be a good fit for Lourdes too. So… more power to her, I guess. I just think it’s funny that Lola’s rebellion is “I’m going to finish my fancy Lycee school and go to a really good liberal arts college and I’m going to pay for it myself. GAWD, MOM.”

Lourdes Leon tells “jealous” Madonna to “stop picking on” Lady Gaga

Madonna and Lady Gaga have been going back and forth with each other for a while. By my memory, I think the simmering feud really got a kick-start when everyone heard Gaga’s then-new single for “Born This Way” and everyone was like, “Um, that sounds a lot like Madonna’s ‘Express Yourself’ right?” Madonna called Gaga reductive and Lady Gaga made some pointed comments about Madonna’s age and Madge even “covers” part of “Born This Way” in her latest tour, during a medley which also pointedly features “Express Yourself”. But you know who we haven’t heard from yet? Madonna’s 15-year-old daughter Lourdes. According to The Enquirer, Lola loves Gaga and Lola wants her mom to “stop picking on” poor Gaga.

Madonna’s embarrassed teen daughter Lourdes keeps telling her mom: Knock off your infamous feud with Lady Gaga – it makes you look like a jealous old fool!

“Loudes is 15; a lot closer to Lady Gaga’s age than her mom is… and like most every girl her age, she absolutely adores Gaga,” said a family friend. “It embarrasses her hugely that her mother constantly picks on Gaga. Lourdes, who’s wise beyond her years, knows Madonna’s doing herself more harm than good – and that she’d be better off locking arms than horns with her rival.”

But Madonna’s turning a deaf ear.

“She’s jealous of Gaga’s success since her own latest album didn’t do so well,” said another friend. “And it doesn’t help that many pals have commented that her daughter bears a striking resemblance to Lady Gaga – a comparison Lourdes loves, and her mom hates!”

[From The Enquirer, print edition]

Eh. I still think that Madonna’s medley-cover of “Born This Way” was a clever and exquisitely bitchy way to poke Gaga. Maybe Madge should stop with the bitching and commenting about Gaga being “reductive” though? But even then, I think Madge has every right to say something. Gaga stole Madge’s shtick, and whenever Madge points it out, Gaga’s monsters are all “OMG, BULLYING!” But… Madonna is jelly. I think most artists are jelly of the kind of success Gaga has had in such a short time. And Gaga’s fanbase are made up of the same people that used to be die-hard Madge-loonies too. So… in that instance, Lola has a point. Still, who wants to listen to a teenager?

Deadmau5 bashes Madonna for her drug references: “F–k off you f–king idiot”

Yesterday, we discussed the new photos of 15-year-old Lourdes, puffing away on a cigarette. I was surprised by how many of you didn’t think a 15-year-old smoking was any big deal. I guess I was a late bloomer when it came to cigarettes, though – I tried cigs years AFTER I tried pot and LSD. Hmm… what does that say about me? Anyway, Madonna was asked about her daughter’s cigarette-smoking in an interview yesterday, and Madge didn’t seem all that concerned. All she said was, “I have to keep my eye on her.” I kind of like that Madge didn’t get into it publicly – that if she has an admonishment for Lola, Madonna will do it privately. Madge did say that Lola is very talented though: “She plays the piano beautifully. She’s an incredible singer. But she’s going through that ‘I-don’t-want-anyone-to-notice-me phase.’”

Meanwhile, in a turn of events, music producer and DJ Deadmau5 hates Madonna for Madge’s “MDNA” album title and Madge’s recent reference to “Molly”.

Madonna missed her “MDNA” album release parties at the Delano in Miami Friday and at Lavo in New York Saturday to head to electronic festival Ultra — but producer and DJ Deadmau5 would have preferred that she skipped the onstage drug slang.

The Material Girl made what he took to be a drug-related reference while introducing Swedish DJ Avicii at the festival in Miami Saturday night, asking: “How many people in this crowd have seen Molly? [the slang term for MDMA, the active chemical in ecstasy, which also rather sounds like her album title].”

While “Molly” is also the title of a new track by DJ Cedric Gervais, the resident DJ at Miami club Liv, Deadmau5 took offense to the reference, bashing her on his Facebook page: “Very classy there madonna . . . ‘has anyone seen Molly???’ such a great message for the young music lovers at ultra. Quite the f–kin’ philanthropist. but hey, at least yer hip and trendy! F–kin’ cant smack my head hard enough right now…I can appreciate [Madonna's] metoric career, and all good deeds done, but WHAT THE F— WAS THAT?…That’s your big message to Ultra attendees? Hipsterspeak for looking for drugs? F— off you f—ing IDIOT. ”

[From Page Six]

Do I have to have an opinion on this? Because I don’t really. Madge was trying to seem hip and cool and “look at me, I can make drug references!” But I don’t really think Deadmau5’s criticism of Madge was on target – instead of bashing her for her fake philanthropy (which is another discussion altogether), he could have just said something about how out-of-touch she is these days.

Speaking of Madonna being out of touch, she joined Twitter for a day to promote her album, and Justin Bieber ended up tweeting her. So Madge responded, “Come and join me on stage when I’m on tour when we are in the same city and congrats on your new single.” Madonna wishes.

Lourdes Leon, 15, was photographed smoking a cigarette in NYC

Madonna’s oldest kid, Loudes Leon, is a smoker. Lourdes is only 15 years old! Damn. We don’t have the photos, but you can see them here at The Mail. Lourdes holding a lit cigarette, looking very young and like she’s trying to be so cool. I smoked my first cigarette when I was 17 years old… 17 is different then 15, in my opinion. Lola can’t even drive yet, but she can get her hands on cigs?

Madonna’s 15-year-old daughter Lourdes Leon appears to already have picked up a bad nicotine habit after she was pictured smoking a cigarette on Friday. The eldest daughter of the Material Girl was seen puffing away as she loitered around with male friends in New York. She had the cigarette in her hand as a pal lighted it for her and seemed very comfortable with it. The legal age for smoking in America is 18.

Wearing a black and white mini dress with matching shoes, the 10th grade schoolgirl wore dark shades and her long hair loosely around her shoulders. At one point she even sneakily tried to hide the cigarette in her hand by holding it upside down as she walked along.

Lourdes is following in her mother’s footsteps in many ways including her passion for fashion with the family’s clothing line Material Girl. But as Madonna was seen seductively posing with a cigarette in her latest music video Girl Gone Wild, it appears it may be a bad habit picked up closer to home.

Madonna’s rep had denied the singer had started smoking again after pictures surfaced of her with what looked like a cigarette in hand while shooting her movie W.E. in 2010. But regardless of whether the 53-year-old was just posing with it or does still smoke, it may not be the best example to set for her four children.

Lourdes will reportedly join her mother’s backing dancers when she kicks off her 50-country world tour in Israel in May.

‘It is the first time Lourdes will have appeared on stage with her mum,’ says a source. ‘There are risqué dancers and some blatantly sexual dance routines – but Madonna is really excited about Lourdes making an appearance.’

[From The Mail]

I was wondering about Madonna smoking too – her latest video for “Girl Gone Wild” is full of cigarette smoking. I remember that Madonna used to smoke, like, way back in the day, but I wasn’t aware that she was still doing it, or back to it. So maybe Lola got her cigs from Madge? I hope Madge nips this in the bud… although… Lola has at times seemed “too grown-up” for her age for several years now. When she was 13 years old, she was wearing pot-motif’d clothing, and when she was 14, she already had dyed hair, a face-full of makeup and her own press conferences for her fashion line. This girl has grown up very fast, and Madonna seems okay with it so far.

Enquirer: Lourdes Leon is embarrassed by Madonna’s “cougar” behavior

Imagine, just for a moment, the life of Lourdes Leon. Her mother, Madonna, has always been on a Peter Pan sort of mission and, consequently, has refused to age gracefully. This fact is blatantly obvious and evidenced by Madge’s red-carpet getups. Wouldn’t you just die if your mother showed up next to you while wearing this outfit?

If Lourdes herself was freaked out by her mother’s sexy (at age 53) getup, I can definitely emphathize. However, it is possible that Lourdes has been surrounded by Madonna’s ways for so long that it might seem normal to have a mom who dresses this way. Yet she cannot possibly comfortable with Madonna regularly dating dudes in their early 20s and still vaguely trying to pretend that these guys are more than just sexual appendages. Well, the Enquirer has heard from a family friend who says that Lourdes is shame-faced at her mother’s behavior in this regard, and she’s had enough:

Madcap Madonna, who set the stage for outrageous acts like Lady Gaga, has a fierce new critic — her teen daughter Lourdes.

Sources say the 53-year-old superstar, who’s sold more than 210 million albums, has repeatedly embarrassed the 15-year-old by still dressing like she did 30 years ago and dating men young enough to be her daughter’s boyfriend.

“Lourdes is telling pals she wished her mother would change and be more like other moms,” revealed a family friend.

Ever since the Material Girl hit the scene in 1983, she shocked and delighted fans with wild, sex-rated outfits she wore onstage and off. And in 1992, she published a red-hot coffee table book called “Sex.”

“Lourdes loves her mother, and her antics are nothing new, but now that she’s growing up, she doesn’t want anyone to start making fun of her mom and calling her a ‘cougar’” revealed the friend.

“Lourdes also wishes her mother would date men closer to her own age.

Madonna is seeing Brahim Zaibat, a Muslim, French break-dancer — who at 25 is less than half the singer’s age. Prior to Brahim, she was dating a 23-year-old Brazillian model [Jesus Luz] she met at a 2008 photo shoot in Rio de Janeiro.

“Lourdes just wants their lives to be normal sometimes, but her mother never turns it off or tones it down — it’s always ‘Madonna!’” said the friend.

The performer has four children — Lourdes by her ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon; Rocco Ritchie, 11, by ex-husband Guy Ritchie; David Banda, 6, whom she adopted from Malawi (Africa), and Chifundo “Mercy” James, 5, also adopted from Malawi.

The still-popular entertainer, who dearly loves all her children, insists on being herself.

But the sources notes that Lourdes sometimes feels “she is more of a grownup than her mother.”

[From Enquirer, print edition, December 5, 2011]

I’ve always wondered what Lourdes thinks about Madonna dating guys who could literally be her older brother or, in just a couple of years, legitimate love interests for Lourdes herself. It’s probably quite humiliating for Lourdes to acknowledge that her mother is sexing these guys up in the other room while she tries to sleep. I mean, weren’t most of us creeped out just a bit upon realizing, as teenagers, that our parents had sex? And yet we weren’t tortured enough to virtually witness them having sex with partners who were less than half their ages like Lourdes has endured. Yes, she’s got many advantages and privileges to being Madonna’s daughter, but the trade-off in this scenario probably grosses her out completely. Ugh.

As a refresher, here’s Madonna’s latest hot young piece, 23-year-old Brahim (who hilariously wants to make an honest woman of her), as they leave a restaurant together and also walk through the airport with Madonna’s four (other) children. Poor Lourdes.

Lourdes Leon, 15-yr-old in heels & skinny jeans: too grown up or just gorgeous?

material_girl_01_wenn3589270

Do you ever think that Madonna sometimes looks at Lourdes and a cold, deep shiver of fear runs through her gristle? I do. Madonna is still trying to be “IT”. And her daughter has IT naturally, through her combined genes of Madge and Carlos Leon. Those genes combined and made a very cool, beautiful and self-possessed young woman of 15 years who radiates something very special. And I bet Madge is full of jealousy just looking her daughter.

Anyway, these are photos of Lola and Kelly Osbourne doing a press conference and casting call for the “Material Girl Model Search.” I guess they’re looking for the new “face” of the Material Girl brand, which Kelly currently represents. I know I’m not the first to ask this, but considering the brand is for tweens and teens, why isn’t Lola the “face” of it? Does Madge not want her “out there” that much?

But no matter. On with the search! According to The Mail, “Three winners will be picked to be the brands ‘lucky stars’ and will be paid just £,3123 (US$5,000). The winners and one guest will be flown to New York to participate in a two-day photo shoot. The images will be used for the Material Girl Spring 2012 advertising campaign and future advertising. As well as having their face plastered on publicity material, the winners will meet Madonna herself.” Lola and Kelly are responsible for whittling down the thousands of girls who applied into 36 finalists who will be voted on by the public.

By the way, you know how much I loathe skinny jeans in general? Well, I don’t hate them on Lola. If you’re going to wear skinny jeans, I really think you have to be a coltish teenager to pull them off.
