On Friday, Perez Hilton was one of the first to report that Alicia Keys and Swizz beatz had gotten married last weekend. Perez sourced Us Weekly, who only a few hours later ate sh-t and admitted that Alicia and Swizz had not gotten hitched. However, everyone could have just waited a few days – according to mostly British sources, Alicia and Swizz got hitched in France yesterday, Saturday the 31st. Apparently, it happened in Corsica, and people like Queen Latifah and Bono came to the wedding. According to sources, Swizz wore a white tuxedo jacket, a pink shirt and bow tie (bad call with that nose, in my opinion, a bow tie draws the eye up), and Alicia wore white on her large baby bump:

Mother-to-be Alicia Keys has tied the knot with her rap producer boyfriend in France. The singer, who is due to give birth in November, walked down the aisle yesterday in front of a host of celebrity guests, including U2 rocker Bono and Queen Latifah.

Keys reportedly wore a flowing white gown and headband, while her partner, Swizz Beatz, donned a white tuxedo and bow tie for the big day.

The pair arrived at their venue in Corsica several days ago and have been spotted relaxing and sunbathing together ahead of the celebrations. Keys, 29, is a seasoned performer. At the age of seven she started performing classical music on the piano.

Her debut album, Songs In A Minor sold over 12million copies worldwide and earned her five Grammy Awards in 2002, including Best New Artist and Song of the Year for Fallin’.

Keys and Beatz, whose real name is Kaseem Dean, have been dating since 2008.
Beatz is currently finalising his divorce from his first wife of four years, Mishonda Tifrere, who is also the mother of one of his two children.

Last month Keys confirmed on Good Morning America that she is pregnant and due in November.

Well, congratulations to them. I really do hope that they’ll be happy and that their marriage won’t be as drama-filled as the previous year has been, what with Mashonda calling Alicia a homewrecker and Jahna Sebastian (Swizz’s third baby-mama) making a lot of noise. Alicia doesn’t seem to be bothered by all of it – after all, Oprah told her to ignore it, right? So Alicia probably thinks Swizz has changed. Or that he would never cheat on her and dump her and get another girl pregnant, right? And hey, maybe he won’t. Fingers crossed.

Chelsea Clinton’s wedding is happening any day now! Everybody is pretty excited, and many think that the wedding will be the social event of the summer. The Clintons have so many well-connected friends, and given that Chelsea is their only child (and a beloved child at that), I’m getting the feeling that both Bill and Hillary are encouraging Chelsea to spare no expense for this occasion – the wedding is expected to cost upwards of $5 million. Above is today’s cover of Women’s Wear Daily – a floppy-hat-wearing Chelsea entering the Vera Wang store in NYC. Most sources are pretty confidant that Chelsea is going with a Wang wedding gown, which is a smart and classic choice. Although – Hillary has been seen around Oscar de la Renta’s store, so there was some gossip Chelsea could go old-school princess in de la Renta. My guess is that Hillary is the one who will wear de la Renta, something beautiful and conservative, befitting the Mother of the Bride. Anyway, no designer is talking to the press.

It’s pretty much established that Chelsea will have her ceremony and her reception at the Astor Courts in Rhinebeck, New York, and that the Clintons are staying at the home of Eric and Andrea Colombel – Andrea is the daughter of George Soros, a longtime Clinton supporter.

As for the groom, his name is Marc Mezvinsky, and little is known about him. He seems just as secretive and quiet as Chelsea, and they’ve been together for several years. Just the fact that we know so little about him makes me think that he’s perfect for Chelsea. The Early Show did this profile on him:

And finally, yes, Pres. Obama is not going to make it. My guess is that it’s not some sort of Obama-hates-the-Clintons story and more about Pres. Obama not wanting to pull focus from the bride, plus he doesn’t want to turn her wedding into a SWAT convention with all of the added security.

Almost exactly one month after announcing their engagement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr were “secretly” married in a hush-hush ceremony in… I’m not sure. Their reps confirmed that they got married, but no details were given. It sounds a bit like they did it in Australia, which is Miranda’s home country.

That was fast. Just a month after their engagement was confirmed, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have gotten married.

The model, 27, and the British actor, 33, are now on their honeymoon, Kerr reveals in a statement explaining why she’s canceling an appearance at the Australian department store David Jones.

“David Jones very graciously released me during this period so we could celebrate an intimate ceremony and honeymoon together,” Kerr says in the statement. “I’m very much a part of the David Jones Family and I am very committed to my role. I am enormously grateful to David Jones to have been given this time to enjoy such a special moment in my life.”

Last year, when the two spent Thanksgiving together in Morocco, Bloom told reporters he and Kerr were “just enjoying our time together now” when asked if they were getting married anytime soon.

The last time we checked in on Alicia Keys, she was name-dropping Oprah is a way to deflect some uncomfortable questions about homewrecking her fiancée Swizz Beatz from his wife Mashonda. Now, the latest news: Alicia doesn’t want to have her baby out of wedlock. By my estimation, Alicia Keys is just about six months pregnant, with Swizz’s baby. And Life & Style claims that Alicia and Swizz plan some summer shotgun-flavored nuptials to make everything alright. Yes, congratulations to them if they actually go through with it, and I hope they’ll be very happy together, I really do. But I do worry about Alicia – I think she fell in love HARD with a man who had a complicated marriage, and now that some time has passed, Alicia is trying to make sure they’re this perfect little family. Bristol Palin and her Playgirl-posing baby daddy Levi Johnston shocked more than just the world when they announced their engagement on the cover of US Weekly. As Kaiser covered yesterday, they admitted in their interview that they hadn’t yet told Bristol’s mom Sarah, who has had a very public war of the words with Levi since his first split with her daughter. (Levi has since issued a vague apology.) In response to the news, Sarah gave a very terse statement that didn’t wish the new couple well or say she was happy or anything. It was downright disapproving. “Bristol at 19 is now a young adult. We obviously want what’s best for our children. Bristol believes in redemption and forgiveness to a degree most of us struggle to put in practice in our daily lives.”

An editor from US Weekly was on the Today Show this morning and she had several key details about the upcoming article that were interesting. The couple wants to plan an outdoor wedding within a month to six weeks. Bristol has her heart set on wearing a Carolina Herrera gown like the one she donned for her glamorous Bazaar photoshoot. She’s going to keep it classy, though, and plans on camouflage vests for her infant son and fiance. Bristol and Levi say they’re keen to have more kids but deny that they’re pushing the wedding because Bristol is pregnant. In fact they claim that they’re waiting to have sex (again) until they get married. Are they going to say that their next baby is premature when it arrives seven months after their wedding? Give me a break! Even if that’s true that they’re saving themselves, it’s a terrible reason to get married at 19.

There’s also speculation as to whether Sarah Palin will actually attend the wedding of her oldest daughter to a guy she once called a porn star. She hasn’t yet RSVPed, according to US’ editor, and given how much she dislikes Levi it’s unclear if she’ll show up. Popeater reports that Sarah is “furious“ about the wedding and “wants Levi to disappear.”

US Weekly has a new video (below) of Bristol describing the romantic rose-strewn way that Levi proposed. She looks starry-eyed and goofy as if she has no memory of the way he talked smack about her family to the press. As for Levi’s past indiscretions, Bristol tells US Weekly “I forgive him for what he did. He was young, mad, misguided. We’re moving on.”

Why are these two in such a rush to get married though? Is it because Bristol’s pregnant, because they’re dying to have sex again, or do they love each other and think it’s necessary to be married for Tripp’s sake? It could be for cash, too, considering that US Weekly admits that Bristol and Levi were paid for interview and photo session. I wonder how much their wedding photos will fetch.

When Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox were married in Hawaii earlier this month their intimate little ceremony was witnessed by Brian’s eight year-old son, Kassius. (And subsequently by anyone who picked up a tabloid the following week to see the wedding and honeymoon album of the starlet who complained that she “fiercely guarded” her privacy.) As much as Megan Fox bugs me, she did look glowingly happy during her wedding and honeymoon and I found myself getting all happy for her. There’s just something about weddings that warms me up inside.

Kassius recently attended another wedding for one of his parents. He was present at the wedding of his mom, actress Vanessa Marcil, 41, and her new husband, Carmine Giovinazzo, 36, of CSI: NY. The two were married over the weekend in New York.

“They were married in New York on Sunday night with family and close friends,” the rep adds.

Among the attendees: Kassius, Marcil’s 8-year-old son with ex-boyfriend Brian Austin Green.

Kassius has been attending a lot of weddings lately. On June 24, he watched as his dad Green wed longtime love Megan Fox in Hawaii.

It’s the second marriage for Marcil, 41, who was married to 80s star Corey Feldman from 1989 to 1993.

When Marcil (Beverly Hills 90120, Las Vegas) rejoins the cast of General Hospital next month as Brenda Barrett, she’ll use her new married name, Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo.

I remember Marcil from 90210 and she also used to be on General Hospital. She’s beautiful and I remember thinking how pretty she was when she was on 90210. I had no idea she used to be married to Corey Feldman!

What I want to know is whether Marcil’s wedding was planned before or after Fox and Green’s wedding. I know it’s petty, but it seems like more than a coincidence that these exes and co-parents had their weddings within a couple weeks of each other. Did Fox find out about Marcil’s plans and finally realize the time was right to accept Green’s proposal? Did Green realize that Marcil was getting married and that he better make it official with Fox? Did Marcil get annoyed that her son was featured in Fox’s wedding pictorial and did that influence the date of her wedding? We’ll probably never know, as we haven’t heard a peep from Marcil nor have we heard any rumors that she has a problem with Fox. This is despite the fact that Fox has called herself “a stepmother to the fullest extent“ and claimed she’s “looked after Kassius since he was three.” She hasn’t hit back at Fox Bridget Moynahan style.

When I was looking for more information on Marcil, one of the search suggestions in Google was “Vanessa Marcil Jillian Michaels.” There was a rumor earlier this year that the two brunettes were hooking up. If that was true, it sure seems like David Silver has a type. Congratulations to Vanessa and Carmine!

Hollywood supercouple Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem were married in a private ceremony in the Bahamas earlier this month and we’re just finding out about it now! I love the fact that these two were able to keep everything so quiet. As much as I’d like to see photos of Penelope in her gown I really hope that none are ever leaked. These two have rarely been photographed together and while they’ve attended events together it’s not like they’re posing holding hands on the red carpet. I have a lot of respect for the way they’ve been able to keep their relationship out of the tabloids. Here’s a little more about their wedding, and there aren’t many details:

So who was there? I’m sure there were family members, but was Salma Hayek there with her billionaire husband and genius daughter? I have to reconcile my curiosity with the fact that it’s better for the Cruz-Bardems that their ceremony remains private and special. You know that they want it that way.

I kind of love that they made the announcement on a Tuesday night, just a smidgen too late for this week’s tabloids. The wedding won’t be in the supermarket mags until next week, at which point it will be old news. They’ll probably add some pregnancy and baby rumors in there to spice up the leftovers. What was it about July 10 that made everyone want to get married? Strange. Anyway, yesterday, Saturday, two somewhat prominent celebrity couples got hitched. First, we have American Office star John Krasinski and English crumpet Emily Blunt marrying in a private ceremony in Italy. Their reps confirmed to People that the wedding took place, but Us Weekly actually has some of the wedding porn details (Clooney was there!):

“John and Emily were married on Saturday in a private ceremony,” Krasinski’s rep tells Us.

“It was an outdoor ceremony and absolutely beautiful,” says an insider. George Clooney and Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis were in attendance; Blunt and Krasinski had been staying at Clooney’s nearby Lake Como estate since the July 4th weekend.

“It was an official ceremony. They are husband and wife,” adds the source.

After about a year of dating, The Office star Krasinski, 30, proposed to British actress Blunt, 27, with a 3-carat Edwardian diamond and platinum ring from Neil Lane, worth $100,000.

Krasinski told Access Hollywood that the proposal was “very casual” but very emotional, too. “She did cry after I cried, and we cried and then everyone around us was crying,” he said.

“She’s a wonderful girl,” Krasinski gushed at last year’s Emmys of his fiancee.

“So many people say, ‘You know when you know,’ and it’s true,” Krasinski added of his love. “It’s all true.”

Oooh, I wonder if they actually got married at George Clooney’s Lake Como villa? That must have been beautiful. Do you think Elisabetta Canalis was like “George when are we going to get married?” If she did, she’ll be out the door soon enough.

Next, we have country singer Carrie Underwood and her hockey player Mike Fisher. They were married in Atlanta, Georgia, apparently, and it was a more traditional affair then Clooney’s Den of Sin and European Sex.

Carrie Underwood is a married woman! The American Idol winner, 27, wed her hockey player beau Mike Fisher Saturday night near Atlanta, Ga., UsMagazine.com has confirmed.

The two walked down the aisle in front of more than 200 guests at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga., in a ceremony estimated to cost more than $500,000, according to RadarOnline.com. Underwood and Fisher, who plays for the Ottawa Senators, said their vows under a lakeside tent.

After a year of dating, Fisher, 30, popped the question last December with a 12-carat ring worth about $800,000. “We’re both obviously excited and very happy,” Fisher said at the time. Underwood hired a wedding planner, but also ironed out many of the details herself.

“I bought a lot of magazines and am cutting out pictures,” she told Us in January. “I have a folder and I cut out pictures and glue them in. It’s in kind of a binder thing.”

Fisher was tasked with coordinating the honeymoon. “[Planning] that was Mike’s project,” she said at the CMA Fest last month.

“It’s a surprise. I have no clue where we are going, which is nice. I know it will be warm, that’s about it.”

The Grammy winner said she wasn’t worrying too much about slimming down before her wedding.

“I’m not a big stresser — Mike would love me if I weighed 800 pounds,” she told reporters after taking the entertainer of the year award for the second straight year at the Academy of Country Music Awards in April.

Underwood first met Fisher backstage after an October 2008 concert in Toronto. “I made sure he came in with some other people,” she told Cosmopolitan. “I was like, ‘What if he’s weird?’”

They made their first public appearance as a couple in January 2010 at an event in Quebec. After nabbing Video of the Year at the CMT Awards last month, Underwood gushed to Us, “No matter what happens, I go home a winner. I have the biggest prize, the guy sitting next to me. Win or lose, he is proud of me. Of course, it’s nice to share the good times too!”

Congratulations to both couples, I’m sure they will be very happy. Does anyone want to place any bets on pregnancies, divorces, etc? My bet is that Carrie will get knocked up before Emily Blunt, but that Emily and John’s marriage will last longer. But you never can tell with those British girls, really. Both Entertainment Tonight and People Magazine have photos of Megan Fox’s “private” wedding and she looks beautiful and very content as she makes it official with her long term boyfriend, Brian Austin Green. Given how many very clear photos we’ve seen of her honeymoon and now her ceremony I have to wonder how private she wanted it to be. It looks like someone negotiated a deal to make sure they got the maximum cash and publicity out of their special day – which just happened to coincide with the spectacular failure of their latest movie. I’m not saying that Megan fox timed it like that or anything, but it looks suspicious is all. Here’s People’s report:

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green were married in an intimate, sunset ceremony June 24 on the beach in Hawaii, with the actor’s son, Kassius, 8, their only witness.

The actress, 24, walked down the sandy aisle to meet her groom outside the Four Seasons in Ka’upulehu, and they were wed by a local kahuna, a Hawaiian priest. Kassius (whose mother is Green’s ex, Vanessa Marcil) was also the groom’s best man, and sported a jade bracelet blessed with ocean water.

Fox’s Armani Privé gown featured a 16-ft. train. Her husband also wore an all-white Emporio Armani ensemble for the ceremony.

“They were beyond happy, and they seemed so comfortable,” a friend of the couple’s tells PEOPLE. “They decided a long time ago that they belonged with each other.”

A lot of people were wondering why Megan and Brian had so many damn security guards at their wedding. Star reported that there were more security than guests, of which there were about six. Maybe they were trying to make sure that only officially sanctioned photographers got their shots.

Congratulations to Brian and Megan, and I guess I don’t blame them for playing the game and getting paid for their wedding pictures. It would have been refreshing, though, if a celebrity who claimed to “fiercely guard” her privacy actually did for once. She contradicts herself in so many other ways that I guess I’m not surprised she ultimately sold out her privacy for some money and fame. She’ll surely have an excuse for it, though, like she’s a victim of our celebrity culture and had no other recourse. I should stop being such a bitch. Brian’s son Kassius is so sweet and the ceremony looks very meaningful to them. Not all of the millions of people they chose to share it with will feel the same.

Former Miss California Carrie Prejean, who became a lightning rod for the gay marriage debate after stating her “biblical” opinion that marriage is between a man and a woman, is now taking the plunge herself. Prejean is marrying her fiance, football player Kyle Boller, on Friday.

Dethroned “biblically correct” beauty queen Carrie Prejean is about to do something that gays and lesbians can no longer do in California — she’s getting hitched.

TMZ has learned Prejean — a woman — is set to tie the knot with NFL quarterback Kyle Boller — a man — at The Grand Del Mar hotel in San Diego.
