My aunt is best friends with Sue Fleming, the personal trainer and founder of Buff Brides. Sue has written three books to help brides-to-be and moms shape up: “Buff Brides,” “Buff Moms to Be,” and “Buff Moms.”

That’s why I got all excited when I read in yesterday’s The Sun that Katie Holmes had hired “a personal trainer from BuffBrides.com” to help her get in quick shape for her wedding ceremony. Here’s what The Sun wrote:

There are no lists of personal trainers on Buff Brides.com, so it sounds like Katie has hired Sue Fleming, the owner, herself.

TMZ then runs with this story, stating flat out that Katie has met with Sue:

While Katie may be using the BuffBrides method with her own trainer, she has not met personally with Sue Fleming, and TMZ is mistaken. It seems like they could have simply asked Sue about it if they were able to get her on the phone.

BuffBrides and its companion books are excellent, easy-to-follow programs that you can do at home to get in shape quickly. Katie is sure to be looking great for her summer wedding with Tom Cruise if she faithfully follows the program. You can get the books from Amazon.

We realize that we reported the demise of Angelina and Brad’s relationship just yesterday. Just because they’re fighting it doesn’t mean that they have to break up. A story came out in Britain’s Mirror claiming that Angelina and Brad might get married in Namibia!

They’re staying at the Burning Shore Lodge again, and just stopped into the Etosha National Game Park for a few days. (Thanks to Glitterati for clearing this up.)

The story that they’re planning a wedding is totally speculative, but it sounds promising that their family is flying in:

Of course Angelina is due next month, so that could explain the relatives flying in. Still it seems kind of early to have people visit, so it’s possible that they’re planning a wedding!

Guess Kate didn’t pay Doherty enough cash to keep his mouth shut, because he reportedly spilled the beans about their planned wedding while at an Austrian porn club.

Doherty claims that he’s going to marry Kate in a ceremony in Scotland this fall and says that he loves to get high and have sex with the supermodel:

The article went on to reveal that Pete plans to pass his required drug tests by getting someone else’s urine samples. He also called himself the new John Lennon, and “the most important rock star now!”

Kate is said to visit Pete with a purse full of bundled-up cash to help secure his silence about their reconciled relationship. She also has offered to pay the bill for Pete to have his teeth fixed. Pete rarely brushes his teeth and suffers from bad halitosis.

As one of the world’s highest paid models, Kate has to be careful about her public image. She seems to have recovered splendedly from the cocaine scandal she suffered last year, and has just secured a new $875,000 contract advertising jeans for Calvin Klein. She will also face no warning or charges for the crime of using cocaine and the stupidity of being caught on tape.

Here is Pete Doherty with one of his many Jaguars outside his flat in London on April 2 and Kate Moss outside a dentist’s office recently. Maybe Moss was making inquiries for Doherty. Hopefully he’ll get rid of his terrible breath in time for their honeymoon.

Avril Lavigne probably is pregnant as we mentioned yesterday, because now TMZ is reporting that she plans to marry her fiance, Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley this summer.

She also is said to wants kids right away, which is celebrity-code for “I’m pregnant.”

Avril is said to be planning a reception with circus performers, comedians and popular rock bands. She’ll probably make a mint off selling the pictures.

Tom Cruise opens up about his painful childhood in an upcoming interview with Parade magazine. He could not rely on his father, who was unpredictable and abusive:

Tom said that he felt like an outcast as a child and had “no really close friend.” His battle with dyslexia served to further isolate him and was “an absolute affront to my dignity.”

We feel sorry for Tom, and have some insight into his character. It’s still not a good enough excuse for him to serve as a spokesperson for the cult of Scientology.

Liz Smith points out that it doesn’t matter if Tom gets bad press - as long as he continues to get press. Tom made a fool of himself while promoting War of the Worlds on Oprah and The Today Show. War of the Worlds was a big hit though, and Smith predicts MI3 will be, too.

Tom seems to realize this, and has even pledged to go back on the Today Show with Matt Lauer!

Smith also provides insight as to why Cruise would be sharing stories of his dysfunctional childhood at this point in his career:

Meanwhile press-hungry Tom has confirmed that he plans to marry his pregnant fiance Katie this summer. He may not have have much time to spend with his new bride while he’s promoting Mission Impossible 3.

The rumors that Nicole Kidman, 38, and Keith Urban, 38, are getting hitched seem to come up frequently, but this time there’s a decent reason: Nicole has been granted an annulment from her 11 year marriage to Tom Cruise. This clears the way for her to marry again in a Catholic ceremony.

It is also rumored that Kidman’s parents want her to make Urban sign a prenupital agreement so that he can’t get his hands on her fortune.

Meanwhile there’s supposed to be a scandalous reason behind Nicole and Tom’s divorce that may be revealed by the surveillance tapes that were seized in an FBI investigation of the private eye that Tom hired to snoop on Nicole. No one seems to know what the scandal is exactly, so the mere existence of one doesn’t mean that it’s newsworthy.

Like everyone else, we assumed that the Jolie-Pitts were flying back to the states when they were photographed three days ago at the airport. That’s why we didn’t publish these pictures of Brad flying in Nice when we came across them earlier today - we assumed they were old.

It turns out that the famous couple flew to the south of France and that the unexpected venue afforded the Jolie-Pitts a precious few days out of the spotlight. These photos are of Brad flying yesterday.

Speculation is rampant that bitter Jennifer Aniston may beat her ex to the altar, and that Oprah will host the wedding!

And despite the sneaky way that Aniston got Oprah to endorse James Fry’s lousy psuedo-memoir (to promote the hoped-for film, for which Aniston owns the movie rights), Oprah has agreed to host Aniston’s wedding at her estate. Aniston reportedly wants a huge lavish affair to show the world how utterly petty and wasteful she can be. (She also probably can’t have the thing at her house since it’s overrun with rabbits.)

No matter what she does or who she attaches herself to, you can be sure that Aniston won’t be happy.

We were wrong yesterday when we said that Hillary Swank and Chad Lowe were probably over. Guess they just don’t have photographers following them around everywhere like other celebrities. In Touch reports that the cute couple are renewing their vows:

That is good news and we wish them all the best. Guess those pets were enough to cement their relationship after all. In related news, Mike Myers and his estranged wife also share custody of their dogs.

Life & Style says that Pitt called Aniston to warn her to prepare for news of the couple’s wedding.

If this is true, and we doubt it, it may mean that the Jolie-Pitts were planning to get married at some point, somewhere - or that they did already get married and managed to hide it. If only they were friends of Chloe Sevigny, we could be assured that this is true.

The Jolie-Pitt clan traveled back to the States today. It looks like Angelina’s mother won’t get her dying wish to have her grandchild born in France, but with Jolie you never can tell.

We have no clue if Independence Day has some significance to the cult of Scientology, although the movie of the same name certainly has some parallels with their belief system. Rumor has it that Tom and Katie plan to get married on the Fourth of July according to the magazines Celebrity Living and Star:

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about upcoming wedding plans for the two, so take this for the rumor that is is. We are still waiting for news of Tom’s ex, Nicole Kidman’s supposed upcoming wedding to Keith Urban. It is a smidgen more substantial now that two gossip rags have jumped on the news.
