Just Jared has these beautiful candids of the Jolie-Pitts in Namibia, published in Hello! Magazine. The couple obviously posed for the pictures and most likely gave the proceeds to charity.

The accompanying article covers the recent news you’ve already heard about the couple in a very flattering light. Brad and Angelina didn’t grant an interview or provide any new quotes, and let their “philanthropic adviser” speak for them.

There are some interesting tidbits in the article. One passage about Angelina’s revelation that she needed to make a difference in the world is particularly touching:

They may have found some peace in Namibia now that the government is on their side and they’ve deported some pesky photographers. They’re undoubtedly hoping to take some of the heat off by releasing these beautiful pictures.

Several reports have Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie getting married in Namibia any day now. Last month’s rumor that they were getting married in Italy turned out to be false of course, but in this case they’re actually in the location where the wedding is said to be, so it may happen.

Proving that her charity knows no bounds and is on a different level entirely than the lame attempts by her boyfriend to save the world, Angelina Jolie is planning to buy a country in Dubai and set it up for African refugees. The Bosh reports:

Jolie will also take out an ad in USA Today next week begging for the US to intervene in the long-standing genocide in The Sudan:

The US could have stepped in and stopped the violence in the Sudan long ago, but the neocons decided they wanted the oil in Iraq and choose to invent a genocide over there. Saddam Hussein may have gassed Kurds in the 80s, but US news outlets downplayed the event at the time. Now an actual genocide has been happening in The Sudan for about three years and no one is doing a thing about it. Saving hundreds of thousands of lives would have cost a fraction of the total of the Iraq war, but no one has given it any attention. Ironically that’s why we pay attention to celebrities. It’s easier than dealing with the tragedy and hypocrisy of the real world, and we’re just as guilty as anyone.

Brad is gearing up his own philanthropic efforts. He will join “environmental group Global Green USA to sponsor a competition that will choose architects to rebuild parts of hurricane-devastated New Orleans.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have come under fire for closing off roads to The Burning Shore Lodge where they’re staying in Namibia. They’ve also been criticized for the agressive, over-the-top behavior by their security team, headed by a security guard who was once charged with murder. So far their guards have pepper-sprayed a photographer and grabbed one local female reporter around the neck!

The latest news is that a photographer was beat totally senseless by one of their secuirty guards - right in front of Brad and four year-old Maddox!

They need to get some new help right away, because it’s unacceptable for people to get beat up or even threatened by the thugs on their staff. Maybe they’ll realize that they can’t let their staff hurt the paparrazi when they’re slapped with some huge lawsuits for the damage they’ve caused.

We realize that we reported the demise of Angelina and Brad’s relationship just yesterday. Just because they’re fighting it doesn’t mean that they have to break up. A story came out in Britain’s Mirror claiming that Angelina and Brad might get married in Namibia!

They’re staying at the Burning Shore Lodge again, and just stopped into the Etosha National Game Park for a few days. (Thanks to Glitterati for clearing this up.)

The story that they’re planning a wedding is totally speculative, but it sounds promising that their family is flying in:

Of course Angelina is due next month, so that could explain the relatives flying in. Still it seems kind of early to have people visit, so it’s possible that they’re planning a wedding!

This doesn’t sound true to me, but I didn’t think that Angelina and Brad would move their family to Africa, either, so it might be more than just a rumor. Angelina Jolie is said to be thinking of getting rid of Brad Pitt once their baby is born:

While this could be true, she is also due soon and is probably more sensitive than usual. Hopefully she will change her mind once the baby arrives.

Meanwhile their over-agressive security forces are pissing off the locals and threatening people, and the new tattoo on Brad’s lower back has been revealed as a Sanskrit Buddhist blessing meant to protect his adopted son, Maddox. It is similar to the tattoo that Angelina has on her back. Will the guy ever get an identity of his own? No wonder Angelina’s tired of him.

Sex with Angelina Jolie must make people crazy. Angelina Jolie’s ex lesbian lover, Jenny Shimizu, has talked to the press before about her relationship with Jolie. She must not be able to stand it that Jolie seems happy with Pitt, because she’s dishing the details now (link has a topless picture of Jolie and is NSFW)

Thats pretty hot. Shizmu says that Jolie loves lesbian action and isn’t going to be satisfied with the role of mother and wife: “Angelina loves danger and dabbling in the dark side. That’s where she gets her kicks—not playing happy families with one man.”

We think Shizmu just can’t bear to be without Jolie, who she reveals waxes every inch of her body and doesn’t have a hair on her. She must not think she has another chance with the gorgeous actress or she would keep the details to herself.

Brad Pitt has been seen in Namibia with a mohawk hairdo - just like little Maddox’s! Since the Jolie-Pitts are in the sticks now, and Jolie has been said to cut Maddox’s hair herself, the most logical conclusion is that Jolie cut Pitt’s hair into the ridiculous new style:

Brad carries a daddy bag, lets his wife move the family around at will, and apparently allows her to cut his hair any way she sees fit! He’s a rather accommodating guy.

In related news, Brad has three construction crews working overtime to finish his Hollywood home in time for the birth of his first biological child with Angelina. In order to make sure the construction does not disturb his neighbors, he ordered all loud work stopped in the evening. He also visited several neighbors personally and promised to throw a cocktail party when he returns. What a nice guy. He’ll have to see what Angelina wants to do, though, because she might not be ready to move back to Hollywood for quite a while.

The Boston Herald claims that Brad Pitt has been spotted carrying a high-end “Daddy Bag,” The “David” by Wake. We checked out Wake’s collection and compared it with pictures of Pitt carrying the bag in question, and we don’t think they’re the same bag.

The “David” is definitely a more feminine bag than the one Brad drapes his leather jacket over. Still, this doesn’t fare well for Brad, who was called a “nanny” by a source quoted in the soon to be defunct Celebrity Living:

Surely the Jolie-Pitts will have their own nannies and needn’t worry about either one of them having to watch the kids if they don’t want to. They’re hands-on parents, though, and will do their best to be there for the children.

Meanwhile Jolie’s best friend has said that Jolie was royally pissed off by Aniston’s pity party on Oprah:

If that’s true it’s awesome and of course Jolie would think Aniston is an idiot. We wish Aniston would just shut up and go away already. Once the Jolie-Pitt baby emerges she’s going to be even more miserable.

Word is that the Jolie-Pitts bought clothes suitable for a little baby girl, but also picked out a t-shirt with the word “Boy” across the front. Of course they already have a baby girl, but presumably these were little tiny clothes:

We heard earlier that that Jolie-Pitts were expecting a boy, so they may have staged the shopping trip and spoken loudly to throw off the tabloids.

Us Weekly claims to have the exclusive news that Jolie has decided to stay in Africa to give birth. They quote a source saying that:

A report in In Touch in early March states that PItt insists on having a doctor accompany the couple to Africa, should Jolie choose to give birth there.

While it is unknown whether Jolie plans to give birth in a natural, non-medical setting in Africa, an out-of-hospital childbirth is a safe option for a healthy first time mother. According to the book “The Thinking Woman’s Guide to a Better Birth” by Henci Goer, medical studies show that home and birthing center (non-medical) births are safer and result in a better outcome for mother and child.

It may seen unconventional for Jolie to give birth in Africa, but it’s not irresponsible. She’s just looking for a safe, secure place for her child to come into the world. Women have done it for eons.

Update: People are saying that Africa is a dangerous place to give birth due to the threat of malaria. This may be true, but don’t you think that Jolie knows about that and has prepared for it medically? She’s a smart woman.
