Here are Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou on the beach in St. Barts, making me all the more aware of my resolutions. I could get snarky and say that Kimora surely had some help from a surgeon, but even so she looks great and you can’t achieve that body without hard work. Plus she’s got that incredible man by her side. Can you believe these two have been together for almost five years? It irks me that Djimon is holding their two year son, Kenzo, (why did I think the kid’s name was Kelso at first?) in most of these shots and blocking our view. Still, what we can see is magnificent. For a woman with three children, Kimora Lee Simmons rocked her bikini like a woman half her age while taking a Christmas Day beach stroll.

The 36-year-old is enjoying a festive vacation in St Barts with her partner, actor Djimon Hounsou, and their adorable two-year-old son Kenzo.

The model-turned-fashion mogul looked amazing in a tiny black two piece.

Hounsou, 47, got in some exercise to keep his athletic body in the fantastic shape it is in by carrying their adorable tot on his shoulders as they soaked up the sun on the French Caribbean island.

Kimora has two daughters from her marriage to Phat Farm and Def Jam honcho Russell Simmons, Ming, 10, and Aoki, nine, were also with the couple.

The astute businesswoman is adding to her Baby Phat and KLS clothing line by launching a new style website, justfab.com.

“I want to make glamor accessible to every fashionista,” she said recently.

Holy crap Djimon is 47?! I would have put him at 37.

I love to head somewhere warm during the cold winters on the east coast, but somehow it would feel wrong to me to be in a tropical location for Christmas. I dislike it when we don’t have a white Christmas (like this year, boo!) but it at least has to be cold. Maybe if I grew up in a more temperate climate I’d feel differently.

Also, I need to say something about that JustFab shoe website that Radar mentions. I have a little bit of a shoe habit that I’m trying to break, but I really dislike those monthly shoe membership sites, like ShoeDazzle. I have looked at both ShoeDazzle and JustFab (I didn’t know it was Kimora’s venture) and the shoes look sub-par and don’t even match my tastes, even though I filled out that whole style profile they require. I have not ordered from those sites, but the shoes look crappier than shoes you can get at stores like JCPenney and they’re not even as cute. Unless you opt out during a small window of time every month or cancel they keep charging you $39 a month. For my money I prefer buying shoes on the daily sale sites like Ideeli and RueLala. (Rue is my favorite due to the layout and quality of the items. Also, those links have our affiliate code in there. Have to feed my habit somehow.)

Update: Here are photos of Kimora’s ex and the father of her two daughters, Russell Simmons, in St. Barts with some new very young looking mystery chick. (Update two: that’s Australian actress Melissa George, 35. Thanks anon and lala! She just looks really young.) So the little girls are probably there with nannies while they have a big extended family vacation, complete with dad’s new piece.

These are some new photos of that lucky bitch Kimora Lee Simmons, celebrating her 36th birthday (for real – 36?) at Il Pastaio with her husband, Djimon Hounsou. Djimon still looks like he’s into it. DAMN IT. He also looks like he’s buying “36” too! Double damn it. It’s kind of funny that they celebrate her birthday by sitting outside and making out for the pleasure of the paparazzi. But once again, Djimon seems into it, so there really must be something I’m missing.

In other I-think-I’m-going-to-sick news, Djimon recently talked about how his family is delightfully bilingual:

Blood Diamond star Djimon Hounsou is teaching his baby son French as he learns to talk – because he wants the boy to be bilingual.

The Benin native admits 23-month-old Kenzo, his first child with model/fashion designer Kimora Lee Simmons, is a fast learner and is already picking up words in both English and Hounsou’s native French.

He tells Us Weekly magazine, “It’s fascinating to see him speak French with me and English with (his) mum. He mimics anything we say.”

And Kenzo isn’t the only one benefiting from Hounsou’s language lessons – Lee Simmons’ daughters Ming, 11, and Aoki, eight, from her marriage to hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, are also keen to learn.

Hounsou adds, “I only speak French to the kids in the house. They are like sponges. They take in everything.”

Holy crap, is this a gorgeous family or what? I don’t even like Kimora Lee Simmons, but I am all over these photos. Kimora and her partner/baby-daddy Djimon Hounsou decided to give the first baby pictures of son Kenzo Lee to OK! Magazine. Kenzo was born back in May, to very little fanfare. That’s not a criticism, by the way. I’m very impressed with the fact that Kimora “Self-Promotion” Lee Simmons has been able to keep quiet about this whole thing – the relationship with Djimon, the pregnancy, and giving birth to such a beautiful baby. Look at those lips! Look at his hair! That baby is adorable. And Djimon looks delicious.

Djimon famously called Kimora “the least high-maintenance lady I’ve ever dated” to which I can only say, “that poor bastard”. But they look wonderful together, and I like that Kimora included her two daughters (their dad is Russell Simmons) in the photo shoot. Could it be that I’ve misjudged Kimora? Is she secretly a low-maintenance girl, a loving partner and a great mom? Let’s hope so.

Kimora Lee Simmons and her boyfriend, Oscar-nominated actor Djimon Hounsou, have welcomed their first child together, a son. Their son was born Saturday, May 30th, and no name has been released thus far. The little boy joins his big half-sisters Ming and Aoki (Russell Simmons is their dad). This is Djimon’s first child, as far as my research shows. My research also shows that Djimon’s middle name is Gaston, which is totally hot. I’d imagine Kimora whispers “Djimon Gaston” to him when they’re in bed. But I digress.

Even though I consider Kimora Lee Simmons one of the biggest famewhores out there, I have to give her a lot of credit for keeping her relationship with Djimon Hounsou on the downlow. Allegedly, they’ve been dating for more than two years, and you rarely, if ever hear anything about them. There was the initial announcement of Kimora’s pregnancy in January, and some rumors that she and Djimon got married (they didn’t, as far as I can tell). The last thing I can remember was a report from April about the baby shower they threw - other than that, they’ve been flying under the radar. This surprises me for two reasons – Kimora is first, a tireless self-promoter and second, when you’re sleeping with Djimon Hounsou, how are you not telling everyone you meet? Well, now she has the proof:

Simmons has two daughters, Ming Lee, 9, and Aoki Lee, 7, with hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, whom she divorced in 2008 after nearly 10 years of marriage.

“I have a lot of hang-ups in life with men. I’m not very trusting,” she told Harper’s Bazaar last year. “After my breakup, I thought, ‘I don’t need anything.’”

But after meeting Hounsou in February 2007, she said, “I have someone who has the heart, the soul, and the hotness.”

Added Hounsou , “My first impression has always been the same, that she’s a very beautiful lady, very capable and intelligent and smart with great family values. She’s the least high-maintenance lady I’ve ever dated.”

Asked if she wanted more kids, Simmons previously told Us, “I would love to. I practice everyday.”

After naming her girls with Asian-influenced names, I bet the little boy gets an African name, to honor Djimon’s Benin roots.

Kimora Lee Simmons plucks everyone’s nerves, right? It’s not just me? It’s the combination of her attitude and her voice for me. So here’s the question – how in the world did she land Djimon Hounsou? That man is fine. She’s not only with him, he got her pregnant! And he’s sticking around! Does Djimon have a thing for high-maintenance women? If he does, he should try me.

Anyway, Djimon is sticking around, even when Kimora throws herself a baby shower and invites OK! Magazine along for the ride. Apparently, the birth of the baby is “imminent”. Both Kimora and Djimon feel strongly that the baby is a little boy, but they haven’t had the sex confirmed.

Kimora Lee Simmons left her baby shower until the last possible moment. “I’m about to have a baby,” says Kimora, who’s due in June. “I’m ready to go, so it was kind of last minute and low-key,” she tells OK!.

I’ll buy that Djimon is a spiritual person. So what’s he doing with Kimora? The most interesting part, for me, is that idea that women carry differently depending on the sex. Some people say that’s an old wives’ tale, some say it’s absolutely the truth. There might be something to it if Kimora is carrying differently now than she did with her daughters. I’m also a little surprised Russell Simmons didn’t show up – yes, his ex-wife is having a baby with another man, but Russell and Kimora are still really close, and I bet he’s totally happy for her. I wonder what Russell sent the baby? Ten bucks says it’s a statue of Buddha.

Kimora Lee Simmons’ divorce from Russell Simmons was finalized in January, with Russell paying $20,000 a month per child and getting next to no custody. Meanwhile, Kimora Lee has been dating actor and model Djimon Hounsou, who got her knocked up with a child due this year. Getting pregnant with your new boyfriend before your divorce is finalized might seem a bit hasty, but the couple may have been eager to start their life together, as it has been reported that they were married in a traditional African ceremony last summer when they visited Djimon’s home in Benin, Africa.

According to a source close to the pair, Kimora and her man were married over the summer on a transcontinental trip to Hounsou’s native Benin, Africa − but they couldn’t make it official in the U.S. because Kimora was still technically married to mogul Russell Simmons; that divorce was finalized on Jan 28, 2009.

Kimora’s faux African wedding was apparently as wild as her Baby Phat fashion shows. “Both Kimora and Djimon wore traditional dashikis,” says our insider. “She went whole hog with the African theme − there were African drums, a traditional ceremony with dancers . . . they even had a hut!”

Present for the festivities were Kimora’s girls Aoki and Ming, as well as a nanny and photographer. “Aoki slept through the entire ceremony, and Ming cried. They were pretty confused as to what was going on,” says our source. As for Djimon, although he isn’t quite up to the level of daddy Russell, “They like him,” our source says simply.

Afterwards, the motley crew departed for the less rustic pastures of Paris. Under the guise of celebrating Aoki’s 6th birthday, the newly “married” couple enjoyed a romantic honeymoon.

These days, the fashion designer is careful about how she refers to Djimon, but to friends she is quick to call him “my husband.”

Though their marriage isn’t official in the US, Djimon was seen out buying a ring for Kimora in Beverley Hills at Martin Katz jeweler recently, so they are probably planning a wedding in the States now that Kimora is no longer legally attached.

Kimora is by all accounts a self-centered diva, so the whole African-themed marriage before her divorce is finalized seems right up her alley. If this story is true, particularly the part about her daughters’ reactions to the ceremony, then I don’t give this marriage very long at all. Maybe a year or two, for the baby’s sake. It always seemed, in public at least, that Russell loved his daughters immensely, and Kimora treated them like little spoiled Barbie dolls. Home life won’t be pretty if her daughters only “like” their new dad.

The demanding diva has been trying for a child with her lover, Djimon Hounsou, and sources say the two have finally made magic. “She’s pregnant,” a source told us. Page Six makes it sound like the wannabe “Baby Phat” designer has been trying for years to get pregnant. It hasn’t really been that long; her divorce with Russell Simmons is barely a year old. Kimora has two daughters with Simmons, Ming Lee, 8, and Aoki Lee, 5 and 1/2, who appear regularly on her show, “Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane.” No word on what her due date is, or whether Kimora and Hounsou have plans to get married.

Leonardo DiCaprio was out to lunch in Africa with Djimon Hounsou, his costar in the upcoming film “Blood Diamond.” Djimon Hounsou is the hot guy who starred in “Amistad” and played the tormented artist in “In America.” A man approached Hounsou with a gun and seemed to want to shoot him for no reason. Dicaprio stepped in front of the shooter, causing him to run away! Leo earns even more points by refusing to talk about the incident, which only adds to the mystique:

Hounsou remains puzzled as to why the gunman took exception to him while he was filming the new action film in Mozambique, but he’s sure he’d be wounded or dead if it wasn’t for the heroics of DiCaprio.

He explains, “He stood in the way of somebody who was trying to shoot me.”

“We went to eat somewhere and apparently somebody was threatening to kill me there. Leo said, ‘Well, you’re gonna have to go through me.’”

That was enough to make the gunman think twice and he fled the scene, leading a grateful Hounsou pouring praise on his pal.

Modest DiCaprio has refused to even discuss the matter during promotional interviews for the new film. He will only talk about his great friendship with Hounsou.

He explains, “We became like brothers on this movie… We were together for six months.”

Leo, one of People’s sexiest men alive, is also donating to help a South African orphanage where he met a girl who touched his heart. He says he wants to help her and the other orphans but that “he’s not married” and does not intend to have children of his own at this point.
