Did Gisele Bundchen order Tom Brady to get hair transplants?

Back in September, Tom Brady ended up throwing his wife under the bus in an interview. When asked about his new Justin Bieber-esque hair, Tom told inquiring reporters that they would “have to talk to his wife” about getting him to cut it. Tom made it sound like Gisele makes all of the styling decisions for the family, and that he’s probably pretty whipped. Anyway, The National Enquirer has an absolutely hilarious story about Gisele and Tom and Tom’s hair. Apparently, Tom is balding…? He has a bald spot, according to this report, and Gisele is so appearance-obsessed that she ordered him to go to a hair transplant specialist in Rhode Island. Oh… please let this be true.

Gisele Bundchen doesn’t want her hunky NFL star husband Tom Brady to be thrown for a hair loss! She sent her QB to a top hair transplant specialist to deal with his thinning crown, the Enquirer has learned.

Brady – who was recently mocked by Justin Bieber for copying his trademark hair – showed up alone at Leonard Hair Transplant Associates in Cranston, RI, on November 9, where he saw Dr. Robert Leonard.

“Tom wants help with his thinning hair and bald spot,” a source told the Enquirer. “Tom parked his SUV at the rear of the building. He spent over an hour consulting with Dr. Leonard before he slipped out the back door and drove off.”

Tom, perhaps in an effort to compensate for his thinning dome, has grown his hair long this season. But sources insist it is Gisele who is behind his move to consider a hair transplant.

“She wants to maintain that perfect-couple image – the handsome quarterback with a full head of hair and the stunning model with her own long, flowing locks,” added another insider. “She pushed him to see the hair specialist.”

[From The National Enquirer, print edition]

I was trying to look through our recent photos of Brady to see if I coul detect any hint of a bald spot… I can’t really see anything, though. Which seems to negate any validity this story might have. I will say this though – if and when Tom ever does lose his hair, I do think Gisele will demand he speak to a hair transplant specialist, just because I do think she’s probably slightly obsessed with their images and styling. Of course, maybe this visit to the transplant guy was real, and it’s more of a preventative measure, you know? Like, “Baby, someday you will lose your hair so why not just get the transplant ready now?” Just tell him to shave it off, Gis.

Paulina Porizkova is a hilarious bitch who will trash-talk anyone & everyone

wenn5299046

I should really pay more attention to Paulina Porizkova, because this bitch is fabulous. She’s at an age and a stage at her career where she gets more attention for simply being honest and burning whatever bridges she had left. When she got fired from America’s Next Top Model, she went public with her numerous criticisms of the show, and with Tyra Banks in particular. A few months ago, Paulina also blogged about plastic surgery, calling out Madonna, Heidi Montag and even Kate Hudson’s breast enlargement. And now Paulina has given a great interview to PopEater, and she is calling EVERYBODY out. Hide yo’ wife! My favorites are what she says about Naomi Campbell and Janice Dickinson, who, in Paulina’s words, “Now she looks like a transvestite.” Here’s more:

If there’s one thing Paulina Porizkova learned from her experience as a model, it’s that being beautiful can get awfully ugly. So says the ’80s cover girl in a scathing new interview in which she groans about growing older, slams her fellow supermodels and disses celebrities with bad plastic surgery.

“Nothing ages as poorly as a beautiful woman’s ego,” the 45-year-old Czech tells the New York Post. “When you have used your beauty to get around, it’s like having extra cash in your back pocket.

“I was so used to walking down the street and having the young guys passing by at least give me a flicker of a look. But once you’re over 40, you become invisible. You’re a brick in the building and it’s sad. It just feels like the sun went down a little bit. It got a little cloudy outside.”

Once one of the industry’s most in-demand models, the former Sports Illustrated cover girl went on to enjoy a brief film career, starring opposite Tom Selleck in 1989′s ‘Her Alibi.’ But these days, Porizkova claims the job offers are few and far between.
“I’m too old to model,” she says, “and I’m too old to act.”

Porizkova’s luck was no better when she became a judge on ‘America’s Next Top Model’ in 2008. Fired after just one season, she later complained that host Tyra Banks didn’t speak to her when the cameras were off. Porizkova now says that contestants competing on Banks’s show need a big dose of reality.

“[They're] living in a Cinderella world and Tyra’s the fairy godmother who can make all your dreams come true,” she says. “But the one guarantee that you will never make it as a model is to go on that show.”

The mom of two, who is married to singer Ric Ocasek, is equally harsh when it comes to fellow model Naomi Campbell.

“I have nothing kind to say about Naomi,” says Porizkova, who intentionally distanced herself from the supermodel supergroup that was once Campbell, Christy Turlington and Linda Evangelista. “I was always asked to be bunched in there but I didn’t want to be part of the herd. The only one I really had a problem with, though, was Naomi … When she was starting out, she was the most obsequious ass-kisser there was, and two years later, she was like, ‘I don’t know your name.’”

But Campbell isn’t the only famous face who gets a tongue lashing from Porizkova. She’s also lashing out at stars like Nicole Kidman and Madonna for seemingly altering their appearance with perhaps a bit of filler in their faces.

“Nicole is my pet peeve, I swear,” says Porizkova, who insists she’s had neither a nip nor a tuck. “She and Madonna used to be so gorgeous and sexy.”

And don’t even get her started on supermodel Janice Dickinson. “She was one of the most beautiful girls you’ve ever seen in your whole life,” says Porizkova. “Now she looks like a transvestite.”

Porizkova is slightly kinder when discussing current catwalk queen Gisele Bündchen, though she believes the Brazilian bombshell’s days are numbered now that she’s made motherhood a priority over modeling.

“Gisele,” Porizkova declares, “is already a goner.”

[From PopEater]

I don’t know about her Gisele comments – it seems like Gisele is still very much in demand for ad campaigns and magazine shoots, and that Gisele’s modeling career will probably last at least five more years, a lifetime in the modeling world. Of course, Gisele has been very smart, and she’s already diversifying her “brand” – I see Gisele going the way of Christie Turlington and Cindy Crawford, finding relevance in other things while still doing the occasional modeling gig. But everything else Paulina says, I totally cosign. Nicole Kidman? Tragedy. Janice? Hot tranny mess. Naomi? Phony to the core. Give us more, Paulina!

Gisele Bundchen on the Miami beaches with her naked baby Ben

101010h4_bundchen_b-gr_10

Here are some photos of Mother Superior Gisele Bundchen in Miami with her son Ben. Ben is naked on the beach! What are the rules about that, moms? When I saw the first photos of Ben running in the surf, naked as a jaybird, I thought it was adorable. He’s only 10 months old and already walking! Maybe Ben really is an advanced baby, and Gisele is the smartest, bestest mother EVER!

Now, Ben was not naked the whole beach trip. He arrived fully clothed and then Gisele took off her stuff and stripped Ben down, and then he was a naked baby for the rest of the day. Gisele and Ben played in the ocean, she sunned herself a little and then she sat in the shade with Ben… and the baby was still naked. I’m not being so anal retentive that I’m crying “inappropriate” on general public nakedness on a baby – it’s a baby. Let the baby be naked, who cares? But when you’re on a public beach, and the paparazzi are snapping photos of you and your naked baby…? Is it weird? Gisele also invited a friend to take photos of her naked baby, up close and personal. Once again, that’s totally fine. Ben is just going to be super-embarrassed when Mother Superior pulls out all of these photos when his girlfriend comes over. MOM!

101010h4_bundchen_b-gr_01

Also – since Ben was diaper-less the whole time, I guess he really is potty-trained? Or maybe he’s just dumping in the ocean. Whatever is going on in these photos, though, they are really adorable. I think Ben is a mama’s boy.

Gisele’s rep explains why Gisele was photographed kissing a random dude

fp_5825813_ang_vogue_birthdayparty_093010

Last week, a huge party was held in Paris in honor of Vogue Magazine’s 90th anniversary. Tons of celebrities attended, including a fishnet-stocking-headed Tyra Banks. Gisele Bundchen was also in attendance – but she didn’t bring her husband Tom Brady. Instead, Gisele seemed to fly solo, until she ran into a dude who seemed like just some random guy. Photographers got photos of Gisele and the random dude kissing – it’s a very close, mouth-to-mouth kiss, but it wasn’t like they were shoving their tongues down each other’s throats. Anyway, it was a minor scandal, especially considering that Tyra’s fishnet head got much of the coverage from that event. And now, nearly a week later, Gisele’s rep has deigned to tell us what was really going on:

Last Thursday, Gisele Bundchen was photographed kissing a man — not her husband, Tom Brady — at the Vogue 90th Anniversary party in Paris. Bundchen’s mystery party companion: NYC art dealer Helly Nahmad.

A rep for ther supermodel, 30, tells UsMagazine.com: “This is her friend of 15 years, Helly. Her first New York friend when she moved here.”

Nahmad — who once dated another Brazilian model, Ana Beatriz Barros — is fluent in Portugese and was “the only one [Gisele] could speak to [when] she spoke no English,” the rep continues.

“He is very much part of her close circle of friends. No worries there!”

Nahmad himself also explained their longtime friendship to Brazilian newspaper O Dia (via Huffington Post), noting that he introduced her to old flame Leonardo DiCaprio. What about that kiss? “Gosh, it was a kiss on the cheek,” he said, claiming that the camera caught them at a deceptive angle.

He added that New England Patriots star Brady even saw the talked-about photos of Nahmad and his wife — and laughed.

Married since February 2009, Bundchen and Brady welcomed son Benjamin last December.

[From Us Weekly]

Is anyone else getting a “that’s not the whole story” vibe? Do I think that Gisele, Mother Superior and The Greatest, Most Special Wife Ever, would actually cheat on her husband? Eh. Perhaps she would, but it wouldn’t be with a random at a Paris party, you know? I think Gisele probably is close friends with this dude, and their kiss was of the friendly variety. Also: I’m open to the possibility that this dude is gay, and that she open-mouth-kisses her best gay friends. Because… why not? Still… SCANDAL. And it was more than a kiss on the cheek too.

Gisele won’t let husband Tom Brady cut his Bieber-esque hair

FOXBORO, MA - AUGUST 02: Tom Brady of the New England Patriots walks off the field after training camp on August 2, 2010 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts. (Photo by Elsa/Getty Images)

Tom Brady grew out his hair earlier this year, and he’s kept his longer locks. The Justin Bieber/Dorothy Hamill-style isn’t very popular with sports fans, though, and so Tom fielded several questions about his hair during a radio interview yesterday. Brady’s reply? “Ah, you’ll have to speak to my wife about that.” Oooh, so Gisele Bundchen has him whipped! Interesting. Gisele gets the final say about his hair.

“Is there anything I can do to make you cut your hair,” New England radio host Greg Hill asked Tom Brady during a phone call on Tuesday.

“Ah, you’ll have to speak to my wife about that,” Brady replied.

Brady’s hair has received almost as much attention as his play on the field this year. The ladies don’t like it (Twitter searches and a quick poll of all the women in my life reveal this), men are mocking it (Brady-worshipper Bill Simmons of ESPN wrote “all Patriots fans made a pact to pretend that Brady’s 2010 hairdo isn’t happening. We’re going to ignore it completely, even if his hair catches fire during a game and a referee puts it out with a challenge flag”) and even teammates are giggling about it.

“That’s a grown man over there, he can do what he wants,” receiver Brandon Tate(notes) told the Boston Herald. “That’s on him.”

Even Justin Bieber himself has weighed in on Brady’s flowing mane. “Nice haircut, Brady,” the tween singing sensation told the Herald in an email. “Dude’s got golden locks. Haha!”

[From Yahoo Sports]

How is this not bad? Tom is either A) Throwing his wife under the bus to excuse an unpopular styling choice and/or B) telling the world that he’s p-ssywhipped. Personally, though, I tend to think Tom probably doesn’t give a sh-t about his hair and Gisele probably does, so he just does what she says. Or he does care, and thinks the longer hair makes him look stylish. Eh. Here’s what I don’t understand – if you’re a dude and you’re going to wear your hair long, why not style it slicked back? I think the problem with Brady’s hair isn’t so much that it’s long, it’s that he’s giving sports fans massive bangs trauma. He just looks idiotic, and like he’s clinging to some Justin Bieber-ideal of youth with the bangs. Slick it back!

Gisele: “Before you have children, you have got to make sure you’ve got a great man”

wenn5545852

As we all know, Gisele thinks all of you mothers out there suck. You ladies blow. Hard. Says Gisele. You’re not breastfeeding in the correct Gisele-approved way, you’re not potty-training your baby at 6 months old, the way Gisele did, and of course, you’re fat. You shouldn’t treat your body like a garbage disposal, fatty. Especially when you’re pregnant. Oh, and you should definitely give birth naturally, because you suck if you don’t. Now, if Gisele had just said “this is my opinion, this is how I plan to be pregnant, this is my experience” that would be one thing. But Gisele is a strident, sanctimonious bitch, and she loves to use her own experiences with pregnancy and motherhood to deign to tell other women how they MUST experience it. And now not only does Gisele deign to tell us how we must experience motherhood, she’s now getting into the procreation orders. We must not get pregnant unless “you have got to make sure you’ve got a great man. You can’t settle for less . . . someone you love, and someone who has the same beliefs.” F-ck you, single mothers. Oh, and f-ck you too Bridget Moynahan.

Gisele Bundchen says she loves being a mother — and advises other women to wait for the right man before starting a family. The supermodel — married to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, with whom she has 9-month-old Benjamin — told us: “My son is so beautiful, I love him so much. But before you have children, you have got to make sure you’ve got a great man. You can’t settle for less . . . someone you love, and someone who has the same beliefs.”

After presenting awards to those helping to preserve the planet at Monday’s Important Dinner for Women hosted by Wendi Murdoch, Queen Rania of Jordan and Indra Nooyi, Gisele — a UN Ambassador to protect environmental biodiversity — said: “I love being a mother . . . it is challenging. It is different when everything is not about you and your life — now there is someone much more important. It takes some adjusting . . . But it is so, so wonderful.”

[From Page Six]

Granted, I get what Gisele is saying, just as I’ve understand her various sanctimonious points in previous “Jesus, Gisele” posts. I really don’t think Gisele means to come across so stridently and with every word dripping in sanctimonious judgment, but she does comes across that way ALL THE TIME. In this interview, I think she was just trying to praise/brag about Tom Brady and how awesome he is to her and how she couldn’t do it without him. Instead, I heard “Haha, all of you bitches have to settle with some balding douche while I get Tom Brady as my baby-daddy! Why do you even want to have a baby? You’re so fat.” And I also think it was directed at Bridget. Because I’m fun.

Gisele backtracks on her “mandatory breastfeeding law” comments

fp_5379581_bundchen_brady_fp2_071210

Earlier this week, parts of Gisele Bundchen’s interview for the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK began to trickle out. Her most notable comments – the part of the interview that got the most coverage and drew the most outrage – was about breastfeeding. Gisele told the magazine: “I think breastfeeding really helped (me keep me figure). Some people here (in the US) think they don’t have to breastfeed, and I think ‘Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?’ I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months.” Yeah, that whole “there should be a worldwide law” part really upset a lot of people.

So Gisele decided to publicly eat sh-t for her comments by posting a statement on her blog. But, being Gisele, she didn’t want to just issue a simple apology, something like, “I’m sorry my comments were misconstrued, that wasn’t what I meant” or “On second thought, I was wrong to say that.” And she didn’t just flat-out blame the magazine, which is kind of nice – you know a lot of celebrities would have pulled a “Harper’s is SO MEAN!” No, Gisele’s backtrack was actually kind of thoughtful. She’s basically saying that in the course of the interview, she was talking to the interviewer like she would talk to a girlfriend about breastfeeding, and that “It’s unfortunate that in an interview sometimes things can seem so black and white.” She also puts down her insufferable bitch persona long enough to say “I understand that everyone has their own experience and opinions and I am not here to judge… I think as mothers we are all just trying our best.” Here’s her full statement:

“My intention in making a comment about the importance of breastfeeding has nothing to do with the law. It comes from my passion and beliefs about children. Becoming a new mom has brought a lot of questions, I feel like I am in a constant search for answers on what might be the best for my child. It’s unfortunate that in an interview sometimes things can seem so black and white. I am sure if I would just be sitting talking about my experiences with other mothers, we would just be sharing opinions. I understand that everyone has their own experience and opinions and I am not here to judge. I believe that bringing a life into this world is the single most important thing a person can undertake and it can also be the most challenging. I think as mothers we are all just trying our best.”

[Gisele’s blogpost, from her website]

Do you forgive her? I think it’s good that she answered her critics and backtracked on the “law” part of her original interview. I also think Gisele is a very effusive, emotional, high-strung woman, and I could totally see that she would say something hyperbolic, like, “I think there should be an international law against Clive Owen wearing pants, for real” and everyone gets upset. Do I still think that Gisele is sitting there, judging all mothers who she doesn’t deem as up to her exacting, painless, potty-training at six months and mandatory breastfeeding standards? Yep. I read a veiled layer of condescension in her comments, but I can’t quite put my finger on it.

Gisele Bundchen thinks six months of breastfeeding should be a law

gisele41

I’m totally embarrassed I missed these quotes from Gisele Bundchen when I was covering her Harper’s Bazaar UK cover yesterday. While Gisele did not discuss Bridget Moynahan, she did decide to ponitificate further about how she’s an amazing mother and how we could all learn at her feet (the feet of a perfect mother), and I totally missed the quotes. Ah, well. Better late than never, eh?

First, a little backstory on post-maternity Gisele: she’s an insufferable bitch. I know, I know. I like her too, and I think she’s interesting and she gives interesting interviews. But she’s also an insufferable bitch. She’s like the Brazilian Gwyneth Paltrow, always deigning to “advise” the peasants how to live their lives. In her Vogue cover story earlier this year, Gisele talked about her maternity weight gain and how quickly she lost it, saying, “I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals. I was mindful about what I ate, and I gained only 30 pounds.” Then a month ago, Gisele claimed that her not even 7-month-old son Benjamin was already potty trained, because she‘s an environmentalist: “Diapers pollute the environment. Where does this garbage go?

Okay, so maybe she’s not as bad as Gwyneth. But wait until you read the excerpts from Bazaar:

Gisele Bundchen has risked the wrath of new mothers everywhere for the second time this year. The opinionated supermodel, who preached about pregnant women ‘treating their bodies like garbage disposals’ in March, has now voiced her views on the breastfeeding.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine, the 30-year-old says, ‘I think breastfeeding really helped (me keep me figure). Some people here (in the US) think they don’t have to breastfeed, and I think “Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?” I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months.’

The Victoria’s Secret model gave birth to son Benjamin Rein in December, and claims that the eight-hour natural birth ‘didn’t hurt in the slightest’.

Speaking in the September issue of the magazine, outspoken Bundchen says meditating prepared her to give birth to Benjamin.

‘It prepared me mentally and physically. It’s called ‘labour’ not ‘holiday’ for a reason, and I knew that,’ she says. ‘You want to go into the most intense physical experience of your life unprepared? That doesn’t make any sense to me. Then I was ready and I thought OK, let’s get to work. I wasn’t expecting someone else to get the baby out of me.’

The super-mum was up and about making pancakes the day after the birth, and famously modelled swimwear within six weeks.

[From The Daily Mail]

Would I like to see a national, even an international discussion about breast-feeding? Sure. Would I like to see breast-feeding friendly laws go into effect everywhere? Uh-huh. Do I think breastfeeding is important? Yep, I do, but I have to admit something: I wasn’t breastfed as a baby, and I’m just fine. So are lots of babies who aren’t breastfed. Of course breastfeeding is awesome and the health benefits for the mother and the baby are incredible, but it’s also not the end of the world if a woman doesn’t breastfeed. I also think every woman has got to make that choice for herself and her baby, just like every woman has got to make her own choices about every part of her reproductive rights and her own body. Even if Gisele was just being hyperbolic – and I don’t even think she was, honestly – even putting that idea out there, to suggest that there should be laws demanding that women breastfeed – just ugh. I’ve said it before: Gisele needs to get a grip.

Gisele shockingly doesn’t discuss Bridget Moynahan in Bazaar UK

gisele1

Here is Gisele Bundchen’s photo shoot for the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK. It’s rather… disappointing, isn’t it? While I agree that Gisele is at times a very unique-looking woman, I do think she’s an amazing model, and this photo shoot just seems… tired and uninspired? What do you do when you’ve got the best model in the world? You put her in black lace and put her on a rooftop. We’ve already seen the black lace thing in the September issue of Elle UK, with Emily Blunt. So I guess that’s the heads up to British ladies – dress like a lacy hooker, FYI. Boring!

Not so boring? Gisele’s new ads for Brazilian designer Colcci. Now… I think Gisele is very close to Colcci. She consistently walks the runway for the designer in Rio, and she’s the face of Colcci’s new Fall/Winter campaign. But does Colcci hate Gisele? Because the styling seems consistently strange and unflattering. In this ad, Gisele looks like she’s covered in grease, and her beautiful hair is atrocious.

giselead1

Why would you do this to her? Ugh.

By the way, I can’t find any excerpts from Gisele’s Harper’s interview yet, but I have high hopes that she mentions something about Bridget Moynahan. So far, Gisele hasn’t said anything about the rather pointed comments Bridget made regarding “irresponsible” people in the media who portray motherhood and childbirth as “painless”. Also, in another recent interview, Bridget said, “No matter what’s been thrown at me in the past couple of years, I try to find the positive. It’s easy to bitch and to listen to your people bitch, so if someone going through a divorce asks me for advice, I say, ‘All the he said/she said stuff doesn’t matter. And your kid will pick up on that energy. Keep your kids the focus.’” Easier said than done, Bridge.

Bridget Moynahan bashes “irresponsible” mothers (coughs & points to Gisele)

wenn2854011

Bridget Moynahan has a new interview in Self Magazine, and she is still sniping, of course. But Bridget keeps it oblique, and that’s why we love her. Some are interpreting Bridget’s interview as rather pointed comments about Gisele’s happy-happy talk about childbirth and motherhood, like when Gisele talked about how easy natural childbirth was, or how quickly she lost her baby weight because she didn’t “turn into a garbage disposal” like most pregnant women. Boston.com draws out Bridget’s inner bitch:

Talking to the media is not Bridget Moynahan’s favorite activity. Invariably, the actress is asked about her 3-year-old son, John, with former boyfriend Tom Brady, and, of course, the QB’s subsequent marriage to statuesque supermodel Gisele Bundchen. If she can help it, Moynahan usually remains mum. But because the 39-year-old Longmeadow lass has a couple of new projects to promote — the movie “Ramona and Beezus,’’ due out July 23, and next fall’s TV show “Blue Bloods’’ — she’s opening up a little more. In the new issue of Self magazine, Moynahan talks about life after No. 12 and even takes a few swipes at Brady’s bride.

“Being a mom, whether single or not, is not easy! Certain individuals and the press present motherhood as if it’s easy or painless, and that’s irresponsible,’’ Moynahan says, perhaps referring to Bundchen’s drug-free water birth. “Girls see pictures in magazines of mothers with fancy baby bags and think it looks glamorous, and that’s not necessarily the case. I’m not complaining about anything in my life — it’s fantastic. My son is so well adjusted. He has two parents who live in different homes, and that’s what he knows. Having a child didn’t hold me back from a career or a love life or traveling; it has enhanced my life.’’

That said, it’s clear Moynahan would prefer not to be the subject of so much tabloid attention. She implies that perhaps Brady and Bundchen don’t share her low opinion of the pesky paparazzi.

“The paparazzi are intrusive, offensive, and aggressive. It’s not something that I respect or, quite frankly, deserve,’’ she says. “I don’t search it out. I lead a quiet life. I don’t go out as much as I’d like because I don’t want my son to be involved in that. We do things privately, like reading Dr. Seuss, playing games, and listening to music. That’s why you haven’t seen many photos of us. I don’t need to parade him around. I want to raise him with a strong sense of self and integrity. He’ll learn from his mistakes. I’m not a believer in encouraging bad behavior or sweeping it under the rug. It better be out on the table.’’

So how does she cope?

“No matter what’s been thrown at me in the past couple of years, I try to find the positive. There are a thousand magazines that like the negative. It’s easy to [complain] and to listen to your people [complain], so if someone going through a divorce asks me for advice, I say, ‘All the he said/she said stuff doesn’t matter. And your kid will pick up on that energy. Keep your kids the focus,’ ’’ she says. “When [my life] was in the news or when challenging things arose while trying to work things out with another person, my attitude was to take the high road. My drama isn’t different from anybody else’s, except people get to see it.’’

Bridget said a career and motherhood have not diminished her desire for a satisfying romantic life, but her priorities have changed.

“I do look at men differently now,’’ she says. “There’s a whole category that isn’t in the running: somebody who doesn’t want a family. And, while I’d love to have more children, I’m not sure I want another on my own. One is portable; two are not. Anyone I date is going to have an open heart.’’

Going forward? Moynahan says she is ready for anything.

“I’m in the same shape now I was prior to having a baby. I mean, there are little scars, battle wounds from giving birth, for sure, but I’m back to my fighting weight,’’ she says. “It was a combination of wanting to be strong, fit, and healthy and enjoying the stress release. If you are physically well, it feeds your mental and emotional state, and your child senses it. My son eats whatever I’m eating, so it’s a sit-down dinner with protein and vegetables. I don’t want him to snack between meals, so I don’t. I do indulge sometimes. I’m a salty girl — potato chips or truffle fries and a martini. But for the most part, I live a very healthy life. I’m not going to sit and eat fried Twinkies!’’

I see her point, and I like her restraint in not naming names, even though we pretty much know who she’s talking about. And yet – what does it say about Bridget that she’s still concerned about what Gisele is and is not doing or saying about motherhood?

Anyway, these are photos of Tom, Gisele and baby Ben going out for a doctor’s check-up yesterday. Ben is a little cutie – either his face has a lot of character, or he’s just gassy. What am I saying? If Ben had to use the potty, I’m sure he would have already told his mother and walked over to the toilet and gone. And what’s up with Tom’s hair? This isn’t the first time I’ve seen Tom Brady’s new hair style, but this is seriously that longest I’ve ever seen it. It seems like Tom is taking style tips from Justin Bieber, right? Long bangs, side-swept, dare I say, some girlish fringe. Some men can pull that hair off – I’m thinking Daniel Craig in Munich. Tom Brady and Justin Bieber? Not so much. Get a haircut, hippie.
