Mother of Beyonce’s dad’s love child: he asked me to give the baby to Beyonce and Jay-Z

fp_8050818_beyonce_aar_02_0
As we know there’s this big conspiracy that maybe Beyonce isn’t pregnant since her bump collapsed on TV and she seems to be either be busting out or looking non-pregnant from day to day. Well this latest story in Star Magazine is only going to fuel those “Beyonce is faking it” rumors – a lot. It’s Star Magazine, yes, but they got the known mother of Beyonce’s dad’s illegitimate baby to speak on the record. Alexsandra Wright had Mathew Knowles’ baby in February, 2010. She’s proven it with a paternity test and Mathew has been ordered to pay her for her child support and medical expenses. Well Wright told Star that Beyonce’s dad Mathew asked her to give up their baby to Beyonce and Jay-Z, who would raise it as their own. While Alexsandra never directly states that Beyonce and Jay-Z were going to pass off the baby as their own, Star says that was the plan. Alexsandra rejected that offer and vehemently insisted that she was going to raise the baby and wouldn’t accept any sum of money to hand him over. She thinks this whole plan was cooked up by Mathew alone to try and hide the baby, though, and that Beyonce and Jay-Z didn’t know about it.

Alexsandra Wright is speaking exclusively to Star about [Mathew Wright's] bizarre plan to have [Beyonce], 30, raise their love child as her own.

“My first thought when he asked me if I would give up our child to Beyonce and Jay-Z was, ‘Are you out of your mind?’” says Alex, who delivered son Nixon Alexander Knowles Wright on Feb. 4, 2010, well after the 18-month affair had ended. “Nothing in the world, no amount of money, would make me give up my child. You can’t buy my child from me!

“Maybe Mathew thought money could buy anything,” adds Alex, who says she recorded her conversation with Mathew. “I don’t know why he suggested it…

“When he realized that it wasn’t going to happen, he offered me money to leave the Knowles name off the birth certificate…

“Which was a hands-down, absolutely no deal here. Ever…”

Alex says she is still struggling to make sense of Mathew’s scheme to pass off their son as Beyonce and Jay-Z’s child. “I don’t believe that Beyonce or anything else has a clue what was flying out of Mathew’s mouth… I don’t think it was anybody but Mathew.”

[From Star Magazine, print edition, October 31, 2011]

Is it possible that this really happened, that Mathew asked Alex to give her baby to his famous daughter and her husband to raise as their own. It’s possible that this happened and that Beyonce is legitimately pregnant but is padding her stomach for effect and attention. (Or maybe she’s just wearing really loose clothing to accentuate it.) It’s also possible that there is some trickery happening here and that Beyonce is going to have a “home birth” (as Wendy Williams has suggested) and emerge with someone else’s baby. This is all too weird, and now that the mistress is coming out with this it’s seeming more likely to me that all is not as it seems.

Beyonce’s dad claims she fired him over Live Nation’s false theft accusations

wenn5683560

Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles, hasn’t had an easy go of things lately. Not that he’s entirely free of blame (quite the contrary, actually), for it was probably his love child from an extramarital affair that caused his wife, Tina, to file for (a so-called “amicable”) divorce after almost 30 years of marriage. Then, in March of this year, he and Beyonce parted ways professionally — meaning that he would no longer act as her manager. Beyonce issued an obligatory statement about how much she loved her father, but it just wasn’t working out to keep him on as manager. The details were sketchy, but the pair insisted that they had “mutually agreed” to go separate ways, careerwise, and Mathew emphasized that “my focus has to be on gospel now.” I know, right?

Apparently, the circumstances surrounding Mathew’s departure from Beyonce’s entourage weren’t quite that simple, as you may have already guessed. TMZ has the inside word on a documents that Mathew has filed against Live Nation, whom he alleges destroyed his professional relationship with Beyonce:

In the documents — obtained by TMZ — Mathew Knowles claims Live Nation Entertainment wanted desperately to sink its fangs into Beyonce’s 2011 world tour. According to the docs, Mathew claims Live Nation told Beyonce that Mathew “had stolen money from Beyonce on her most recent tour or otherwise taken funds that [he] was not entitled to.”

Mathew claims Live Nation was effective, because Beyonce had her law firm conduct an audit, and the law firm concluded Mathew had indeed pilfered money from her. Beyonce then fired him.

Mathew claims after he was canned, Beyonce hired a manager who had worked as a former exec at Live Nation and maintained a relationship with the company.

Mathew insists the theft accusations by Live Nation are false, and he wants the judge to give him the right to take depositions of various people at Live Nation, to determine just how they concluded he was a thief.

We could not reach Beyonce’s rep for comment.

[From TMZ]

While Live Nation has its own checkered past reputation to contend with (and bands like Nine Inch Nails have likened the company to a quasi-legitimate scalper), the Department of Justice presumably had enough faith to approve Live Nation’s merger and absorption of Ticketmaster last year. So without knowing more about the relevant documents and evidence at hand, I can only assume that Live Nation, while sketchy, is probably a lot more trustworthy than Mathew Knowles, who can at least rest easy while knowing that he had nothing to do with Beyonce’s latest overwrought, tweaked-out music video. Small mercies, folks.

Did Beyonce fire her father-manager, Mathew Knowles?

wenn5439809

Quite honestly, I’m surprised Beyonce hadn’t made this move earlier. Yesterday, it was announced that Beyonce and her father-manager Mathew Knowles were splitting up. Professionally! He’s still Beyonce’s father. Mathew has managed Beyonce’s career from the very beginning, when it was all about Destiny’s Child and Beyonce was being compared to Diana Ross, especially after Destiny’s Child outlived it’s usefulness as a platform to launch Bey’s solo act. Mathew oversaw the disbanding of Destiny’s Child, and he helped ensure the fact that no one besides Bey has had a career post-Destiny’s Child. But those machinations are long over (right?!?) and Bey has been on top for a long time. Long enough that her daddy got himself a wandering dong, knocked up some woman, and had a love child and a side-order of baby-daddy-drama. But that controversy was more than a year ago – why did Bey fire her daddy now? Hint: it has to do with gospel music. PRAISE IT!

Beyonce is all grown up. After a professional lifetime together, the superstar and her father, Matthew Knowles, have parted ways, with Matthew no longer managing the “Halo” singer.

“I’ve only parted ways with my father on a business level,” Beyonce tells UsMagazine.com in an exclusive statement. “He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me. I grew up watching both he and my mother [Tina Knowles] manage and own their own businesses. They were hard-working entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps.”

Indeed, Matthew Knowles, with then-wife Tina at his side, was instrumental in launching his daughter’s career as a young singer and entertainer, from the beginning of Destiny’s Child and even earlier.

Matthew explains to Us exclusively of the momentous decision: “We mutually agreed to part ways in terms of me managing Beyonce, as my focus is in the investment of Music World Entertainment’s growing gospel and inspirational music division, which includes Top 10 artists Trinity 5:7, Brian Courtney Wilson, Micha Stampley, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Dr. Juanita Bynum.”

He continues: “Because of the success of all of these artists, my focus has to be on gospel now. I am also still going to continue on with my joint venture with Columbia to work on Destiny’s Child and develop new artists, like the UK pop band From Above, plus Music World’s kids music division.”

As for who will now manage the superstar, who plans to release a new album (a follow-up to her smash I Am . . . Sasha Fierce) later this year?

“Beyonce has the knowledge and experience to make that decision and no final decision has been made yet,” Matthew says.

[From Us Weekly]

Sure. Do you think Mathew was pushed, or did he jump? I have a few theories, but it doesn’t really matter. After years of taking his 10%, Mathew will be fine, and so will Beyonce. Now we just need to convince Bey to fire her mom. Tina and her tacky fashions make Mathew Knowles look like Quincy Jones.

Beyonce’s dad, Mathew Knowles, is officially the baby-daddy of love child
GRAMMY Jam - Arrivals

In a classic Maury Povich moment, DNA tests have confirmed that Mathew Knowles, the mastermind of superstar Beyonce Knowles’ career, is indeed the father of a baby boy.The child’s mother, Alexsandra Wright, a 30-something year-old costume designer from California, has claimed all along that Knowles was the daddy, and that the two had an 18-month affair. Mr. Knowles, on the other hand, has been more than a little reluctant to admit to anything.

Beyonce Knowles is officially a big sister again. A DNA test has confirmed that Mathew Knowles is the father of Alexsandra Wright’s brand new baby boy … sources tell TMZ.

With the DNA test a match, we’re told lawyers for Knowles and Wright are in the final stages of negotiating a settlement for baby Nixon’s child support.

Wright filed a paternity suit last October against Knowles — who was temporarily ordered to pay $8,200 in monthly child support.

Wright claims she had an 18-month affair with Knowles.

As far as we know, nothing’s tricky about Nixon …. so far.

[From TMZ]

The problem with Knowles fathering this child is that at the time, he was married to Tina Knowles, Beyonce’s mother and business partner. Sources say the love child is the reason Tina filed for divorce last December, after nearly 30 years together. There has been very little information on the status of the divorce, or the terms of any settlement. But between the two of them, both Tina and Mathew have managed to amass quite a fortune thanks to their daughter – Mathew not only created Destiny’s Child, the group that launched Beyonce’s career, but he is also her manager and founded his own record label. Tina is a co-founder of the House of Dereon fashion line. Something tells me things are going to be ugly – even though both Knowles have claimed the split was “amicable.” A love child has a way of making things…awkward.

Beyonce’s dad ordered to pay $8,200 a month support for love child

The 47th Annual Grammy Awards - Arrivals
DNA tests are still pending for the two week-old baby boy that a Canadian woman claims was fathered by Beyonce’s dad and manager, Mathew Knowles. Knowles has been ordered to pay a whopping $8,200 a month to the baby’s mother, Alexsandra Wright, along with a lump payment of over $20,000 for this month. He previously paid Wright $10,000 to cover the costs of the birth, suggesting that he suspects that the baby is his even if he sort-of denied it in a carefully worded statement after the baby’s birth. “We are not aware of the birth of a child. Mr. Knowles has never had a DNA test. These rumors are untrue.”

Knowles, 59, was married to Beyonce’s mother for 29 years before she filed for divorce in December of last year. It’s thought that the paternity case against him, first filed last fall, pushed her to end the marriage.

Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles, has just been ordered to support baby Nixon, at least temporarily … TMZ has learned.

An L.A. judge just ordered Knowles to pay $8,200 a month in child support, retroactive to February 1. Knowles must also pay 100% of uninsured medical costs.

Alexsandra Wright claims she had an 18-month relationship with Knowles and he’s the baby daddy of Nixon — born February 4.

Wright’s lawyer, Neal Hersh, went to court today asking for support and the judge granted it.

But Knowles will take a DNA test March 1 … and the long-term support issues hinge on the outcome.

It’s interesting — Knowles has not flat out denied he’s the daddy. And in fact, he gave Alexsandra $10,000 in January to cover uninsured medical costs and baby stuff.

UPDATE: The Judge ordered Knowles to pay Wright $20,750 for the month of January.

[From TMZ]

That’s got to suck for this guy’s family to see that he’s messing around on their mother at a time that he should be thinking of retiring. Even though Beyonce and Solange are in their 20s it’s still got to bother them that their dad is having a baby with another woman. Little Nixon is their half brother! At least Knowles is going to have to pay through the nose for his infidelity, but what seems like a lot of money to us is probably chump change to the guy who gets a healthy percentage of his famous daughter’s earnings.

Tina Knowles, Beyonce’s mom, filed for divorce from Mathew Knowles

wenn556202

Remember that National Enquirer story that broke back in October, claiming that Mathew Knowles, Beyonce’s dad and manager, had fathered a love child with a Canadian woman, who was suing him for paternity? Well, sources are speculating that this secret love child was the final straw for his wife, Tina Knowles. TMZ is reporting that Tina has filed for divorce after 29 years of marriage. Twenty-nine years of marriage…and horrible outfits!

Tina Knowles filed divorce papers in Harris County, Texas last month, in an attempt to end their 29-year marriage.

Back in October, Mathew was hit with a paternity lawsuit from a woman who’s not his wife — no word if that affected Tina’s decision to pull the plug.

Mathew has been Beyonce’s manager for years, so there could be a ton of cash up for grabs in the split.

The couple has two children together: Beyonce and Beyonce’s younger sister.

[From TMZ]

Is 2009 the Year of the Secret Love Child, or what? Mathew Knowles is more than the dad who made his daughter an international superstar – he’s also the CEO of his own record label, Music World Entertainment, home of Beyonce, as well as fellow Destiny’s Child artists Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, and several other emerging artists. So he’s no slump in the fortune department. Tina, meanwhile, is the co-founder and CEO of the fashion line House of Dereon. It will be interesting, to say the least, to hear how the couple’s considerable list of assets gets split. I doubt they have a prenup.

Beyonce might fire her dad-manager over his paternity suit

solange 4 220807

Last week, news broke of some baby-daddy drama from an unexpected place. A woman named Alexsandra Wright (or, as some sources have it, AlexSandra Wright) filed a paternity case against 58-year-old Mathew Knowles, Beyonce’s father. Wright filed the paternity petition in Los Angeles, where she resides. Beyond that, there’s not a lot of information about her. TMZ reports: “We’re told she’s in her late 30s… and she works in the name-branding business.” Wright also appeared in one episode of Scrubs, back in 2001, and from which we have this unflattering screenshot of her. A Canadian source claims Wright is Canadian and 38 years old.

Wright is apparently six months pregnant, and she’s letting the paperwork do the talking for her. Weird Hollywood coincidence – her lawyer, Neal Hersh, is also Lamar Odom’s lawyer in the prenuptial negotiations with Khloe Kardashian. It is unknown whether Wright wants a simple admission of paternity, or if she wants child support. My guess? She wants the money. Mathew Knowles has been Beyonce’s manager from the beginning, meaning he’s got at least 10% of whatever Beyonce’s making. Which puts it into millions of dollars. Anyhoodle, this is pretty scandalous because Mathew and Tina Knowles have been married since 1980! Yikes. The Enquirer has a new story out, all about how Beyonce is “furious” about this dangerous liaison.

Alexsandra Wright filed the suit in late September because she was terrified Mathew Knowles would end their relationship when he learned about the pregnancy, says a source close to the Knowles family.

“Beyonce is very upset,” said the source. Although Mathew and Tina have gone through several rough patches in their marriage, Beyonce is “angry that her father didn’t have enough sense to protect himself” from a situation like this.

Mathew has served as Beyonce’s manager and he has guided her career from the beginning. But now Beyonce believes it might be time to separate him from her professional like, says the source.

“Beyonce says a big part of being successful and happy is being focused, and she can’t do that when she has to deal with her father’s antics.”

[From the National Enquirer, print edition, October 18 2009]

I tend to think Beyonce should get another manager, a real manager. While I think Mathew Knowles has done a hell of a job managing Beyonce’s career thus far, and I have no doubt that he’s a cold, hard, business-oriented bastard when he needs to be, I think it‘s time to end the dad-manager thing. In total, I dislike this trend of having a family member manage you – that’s what creates monsters like Papa Joe Simpson (Jessica and Ashlee Simpson’s dad) and Dina “Shoe-Han” Lohan. As for the whole paternity suit thing, we’ll see. My guess is Mathew’s the baby-daddy, but I’ll wait for it.
