Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughters blame Ashton for her breakdown

Demi Moore is currently at an unnknown rehab receiving treatment for substance abuse issues and anorexia. Reports had her at the exclusive Cirque Lodge in Utah, but TMZ claims those stories are false and that no one knows exactly where Demi is. (She could be at Cirque and denying it in an attempt to preserve her privacy and keep the paparazzi away. I can’t blame her for that.) Radar reports that patients receiving treatment at Cirque aren’t allowed to weigh themselves or to know their current weight during weigh-ins with a doctor. Wherever Demi is, she’s hopefully detoxing and getting healthy.

The latest issue of US has an article that suggests to me that Demi is not taking responsibility for her addictions, or at least that her family is still in denial about it. It squarely places blame on her ex Ashton Kutcher as somehow triggering Demi’s latest problems. Here’s part of US’ report:

Just one week [prior to Tallulah's 18th birthday party on February 3], [Demi], 49, checked into rehab, a source confirms to Us, to seek treatment for substance abuse and an eating disorder. “Her friends and family wanted her to get help,” says a Moore source. Now Bruce, 56, and Moore’s daughters, Tallulah, Scout, 20, and Rumer, 23, are holding accountable the one person they consider responsible for her troubles – her estranged husband, Ashton Kutcher. “Bruce and the girls hate Ashton,” says another insider close to the actress…

“Her family and friends are happy Ashton is out of her life…

“This think Demi’s breakdown is his fault.” (Another source counters that Rumer, who has visited Kutcher on the Two and a Half Men set postsplit, is still close to the actor.)…

[The friendship between Bruce and Ashton] “was all a show,” the source asserts of the Die Hard actor’s friendliness. “The hatred is long-standing.”

Still, Kutcher, 34, may have made himself too scarce in recent weeks. “Ashton hasn’t been there for her,” says another insider. The one time he went to her house after her hospitalization, she wasn’t even there. But another pal defends Kutcher: “He hasn’t seen her because he doesn’t want to give her the idea that he wants to get back together…”

“Bruce is concerned about Demi,” says a Willis soure. But even he is limited. His wife, Emma Heming-Willis, 33, who is pregnant with their first child, “doesn’t want to expose their baby to any of that drama,” says the source.

[From US Weekly, print edition, February 20, 2012]

I buy that Ashton was an ass to Demi and that he cheated on, lied to and left her. We have no idea what went on in that relationship behind closed doors, or how bad it was. It’s understandable that Demi’s family hates Ashton now. Ultimately Demi is responsible for herself, though. Plenty of women go through infidelity and public humiliation and deal with it in much healthier, constructive ways. Most of those women don’t have a fraction of Demi’s means or opportunities. This is a cop out by Demi’s people. She needs to get more distance from this before putting out the next planted story.

Demi Moore has entered the Cirque Lodge rehab in Utah, sources say

Demi Moore has been on a bad path for a while. I tend to think it’s not just a matter of a “mid-life crisis” or even just a post-divorce bender. I think something is seriously wrong with Demi, and something has been wrong with her for a while. The stories about Demi’s activities the past few months has gotten worse and worse, from her diet of Red Bull, Adderall and Whip-its, to her “creepy cougar” partying with Rumer’s friends, to her grinding on some poor young boy’s ass, and on and on. Throughout it all, Demi seems to have resisted rehab, choosing instead to delve deeper into Kabbalah spiritual guidance, even at the expense of her relationship with her daughters. Well, it seems like someone might have gotten through to Demi, because there are some reports now that she’s entered rehab:

It appears Demi Moore has taken her “spiritual counseling” to the next level. E! News has learned exclusively that the Margin Call star has checked into the ultra-posh Cirque Lodge addiction treatment center in Sundance, Utah.

A source tells E! News Moore entered the facility the week following her now infamous Jan. 23 hospitalization, after she suffered seizure-like symptoms during a party at her home in the Benedict Canyon area of Los Angeles.

“She’s on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people,” the rehab source said, adding that the 49-year-old actress is being treated for both an eating disorder and addiction issues.

Specializing in “individualized addiction treatment,” Cirque Lodge has a reputation for catering to a celebrity clientele, reportedly including the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Eva Mendes and Mary-Kate Olsen.

So how did Moore check into the rehab facility without the media catching wind of it?

We’ve learned that in the days after her hospitalization, Moore gathered her belongings from her home and was whisked off to the mountain retreat in Utah for treatment.

“It became clear to her that her way of coping with her stress was not working and she needed more help,” the source continued.

As we previously reported, Moore had been consulting with an intuitive healer and psychic medium.

Despite speculation that her exes Bruce Willis and Ashton Kutcher visited Moore at home earlier this week, Moore spent the entire week in Utah.

When reached by E! News, Demi Moore’s rep had no comment.

[From E! News]

People Mag and Us Weekly are going with E! News’ report too, although just hours before E! came out with this, People Magazine had yet another story about how “private” Demi is and how NO ONE knows where she is. A source told People, “Demi is such a private person… and where she is now is being kept top secret.” Her rep did tell People that Demi decided to get “professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health.”

More evidence that Demi is in rehab: Tallulah celebrated her 18th birthday, a rite of passage, with her father at his place. Demi was nowhere to be seen – and you know she would have loved to grind on some of Tallulah’s barely legal friends.

Brooke Mueller heads for full-time rehab after post-arrest bender

Two weekends ago, Brooke Mueller was arrested and charged with assault and possession in Aspen, Colorado. Apparently, she was in jail overnight and then Charlie Sheen bailed her out. Since then, her delusional spokesman, Steve Honig (the same dude who represents Lindsay Lohan, coughcrackdealercough), has been making the rounds claiming that Brooke is just misunderstood and that the charges are bogus and everything is fine. Brooke’s family wanted to force her into rehab, but Brooke kept on partying, and then just in the past few days, she claimed that she was going to undergo rehab – as an outpatient. Like Charlie Sheen did, when he “rehabbed” at his own home. Brooke’s family weren’t happy about it, and then the Aspen DA chimed in, saying that there wasn’t going to be any deal, and the charges would not be dropped. Here’s Radar’s summary:

Brooke Mueller must appear in a Aspen, Colorado courtroom on Monday, December 19, for her arraignment in her felony cocaine possession case, and Chief Deputy District Attorney Arnold Mordkin tells RadarOnline.com that no deal has been reached in the case, and there certainly won’t be one made prior to the hearing on Monday.

Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, was arrested for cocaine possession and assault, on December 2 after getting into an alleged brawl in a nightclub in Aspen with another woman.

“There is no deal on the table in the case at this time, and there won’t be one prior to Ms. Mueller’s arraignment on Monday. Nor will there be announced at the arraignment. Ms. Mueller is supposed to be here. She can enter a plea on Monday, or her attorney can continue the matter,” Mordkin tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

Brooke’s rep, Steve Honig, released a statement Monday about Mueller’s decision to seek outpatient rehab treatment. “Recognizing past attempts at treatment have not been successful, Brooke has decided to take a different approach to deal with her addiction. Brooke will be participating in a program during the day and will be under expert supervision 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, Brooke has requested to be tested on a daily basis for cocaine and other illegal substances so there is no doubt as to her commitment.

“Brooke will retain custody of her children, both of whom will continue to remain at her home and be cared for by Brooke and their longtime nanny. Charlie and Brooke’s family are all fully supportive of this decision and recognize the importance of maintaining the children’s normal routine.”

Brooke has battled a crack cocaine addiction for more than 10 years, and this will be at least the fifth time she has sought outpatient treatment. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Brooke’s family doesn’t believe her latest efforts to get sober will work.

“Brooke’s parents are not going to do an intervention because they’ve basically washed their hands of her,” a source close to the family exclusively told RadarOnline.com. “They’ve given her as much help/money/rehab as they can and they’re not going to do it anymore. They’re going to support her in this effort, but they’re not going to try and force her to do anything more.”

[From Radar]

So everyone was lining up against Brooke and it was becoming obvious that her crack shenanigans were not going to be overlooked anymore. I do think the final straw was that Brooke’s family was pulling away – from what I know, her family has pretty much been raising the twin boys, Max and Bob, and if Brooke had to look after them all by herself, those kids would be in a world of trouble. So Brooke did what all cracked-out hustlers do: she’s trying a new hustle. OF COURSE she’ll go into rehab. Sure!

Brooke Mueller has had a change of heart … and has checked herself in to a full-time rehab center … TMZ has learned.

Mueller’s rep, Steve Honig, tells TMZ, “After further reflection and consideration, Brooke has decided to remove herself from the media spotlight and has entered a long-term in-patient treatment center where she can focus on her recovery without distraction.”

“She has already arrived at the facility and, out of respect for her privacy, no further information will be released about her treatment. Brooke’s goal is to maintain her sobriety and she believes this is the best option to reach that goal.”

“Brooke will retain custody of the children, who will remain in their home and familiar surroundings and be under the care of their longtime nanny. Charlie and Brooke’s parents fully support her decision and everyone recognizes the importance of maintaining the children’s normal routine.”

Brooke had previously decided she would enter an outpatient rehab program to be with her kids — so much for that.

Update: Brooke was seen boarding a private jet in Los Angeles last night … presumably headed for her rehab center. Mueller was seen smiling and chatting with her entourage before getting on board. No word on where the rehab center is located.

[From TMZ]

It would nice to think that Brooke finally realizes that she needs to make her sobriety a priority for her children, and that this is her last chance as far as the law and her family are concerned. But I doubt that’s her thought process at all. She’s probably still thinking about scoring the next rock.

Kim Richards is “basically homeless” and Bravo execs forced her to go to rehab

More information is coming out about Kim Richards of RHOBH’s rehab stint, and it sounds worse than we’ve heard. Of course Kim’s stint in rehab isn’t just her second, and of course she didn’t go on her own volition. Kim was basically ordered to go by Bravo execs, who told her that if she wanted to keep her job on the show she’d get treatment. They’re a little gun shy after Russell Armstrong offed himself and are probably trying to avoid future lawsuits and image problems. Since Kim has no other income, and because she has no home after selling hers and moving in with that creepy enabler boyfriend she was hooking up with, she acquiesced. Details are vague about what happened between Kim and her boyfriend/neighbor, but she’s not living with him at this point and has been staying with friends. Here’s more:

“Kim has been to rehab more than once before,” says the source, “but every time is a new time, and everyone just hopes this sticks and that she gets the help she needs. It’s serious.”

Richards has been “erratic. Everyone was really worried about her,” says the source, who adds that Richards is not living with Ken, the boyfriend who was introduced as her love interest this season.

During a recent episode of the Bravo show, Richards says she’s planning to move in with Ken, and cameras show her packing up her belongings.

“He’s not in the picture. No one really knows what the deal was with them, but Kim doesn’t live with Ken,” the source says. “She’s basically homeless, staying with various friends. She doesn’t have a home base. It’s not unusual for people to not hear from her for long stretches of time. It’s been that way for years.”

“Her family is relieved she’s getting help,” adds the source. “She has lots of issues. She needs help.”

[From People]

And here’s part of Radar’s report about how Kim got pushed into going to rehab.

“Kim was told by the people at Bravo that she had to get help and that help meant going into rehab immediately,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “The network people were worried about her and wanted her to try and fix her problems.”

“After Russell Armstrong’s suicide Bravo is trying to making sure that nothing bad happens to the people on their shows,” the source said. “They don’t want any more tragedies on their hands.”

[From Radar]

I’m thinking that the Bravo people wanted to sound caring and concerned on one hand, but then made sure to let People Magazine know that Kim was a total erratic mess so that they could cover their asses on the other. It’s obvious enough when you watch the show that Kim is an addict. It just makes you wonder why it took everyone so long to see it. They spent so much time covering for Kim and making excuses for her this season.

In related RHOBH news, the book cover for Taylor Armstrong’s new memoir is out. Notice how she’s covering her giant trout pout. Radar has the details of what will be in it, but we’ve heard it all before. I feel for this woman’s child, I’ll say that.

Kim Richards is in rehab; Taylor’s daughter was there when she found Russell dead

I feel guilty when I don’t keep up with shows I used to watch. So that’s a preface for the fact that I haven’t been watching RHOBH all the way through this season and have missed the past couple of episodes. After Russell Armstrong killed himself I got all morally outraged and vowed not to watch it anymore, but of course I gossip for a living so my standards are pretty low and I couldn’t stay away. The show did lose some of its luster this season though, and it took on a kind of scary edge. The women seemed more sad, wasteful and petty to me and the catfights that used to be fun got mean and uncomfortable.

There’s some news today about Kim Richards, Paris Hilton’s aunt, and Kyle’s very slurry, loopy sister. She’s in rehab again and finally. Kim has seemed out of it this entire season and I’ve often wondered why producers even let her drive. Here’s a clip from The Soup where she seems especially gone. (And here’s a link to another clip where she mumbles and admits that she’s been using air freshener in her mouth for a week.)

A few weeks ago on the show, Kim admitted to Adrienne’s plastic surgeon husband Paul that she was on Topamax, Lexapro and Trazodone, all prescribed to her by doctors. Whatever she was on she was obviously pretty far gone most of the time. She’s checked into inpatient rehab for the second time. Kim did attend a week’s worth of rehab last year after her drunken disastrous fight with Kyle on the first season’s closer, but checked herself out before completing treatment.

On last night’s episode Taylor freaked out at Camille for confronting Taylor about her (now deceased, but still living at the time that was filmed) husband’s abuse. Taylor was screaming and crying at Camille for talking about it on the show and potentially putting her and her daughter in danger. It all went down at a party thrown by Brandi. It sounds like a formulaic rehash of last season’s big fight: throw a bunch of Housewives and their friends together at a party, get them wasted and have them pick fights with each other. It’s like the producers are prodding them but the emotions are real. Both The Daily Mail and E! have recaps if you’re interested.

Taylor told Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” about how she discovered her husband’s body after he committed suicide in August. (You can watch a clip on Gawker.) She admitted that her five year old daughter was there with her with then found him. It really made me uncomfortable to see her explain that, and to recount what her daughter said when they found the body, “Did daddy do something dumb?” It just seems like Taylor had no right to violate her daughter’s privacy like that. Just because the girl is five doesn’t mean that Taylor gets to tell the world intimate details about her. Taylor also has a memoir coming out in February called Hiding from Reality.

Here’s a preview of the show.

Brooke Mueller’s rock bottom: getting bailed out of jail by Charlie Sheen?

On Friday, Brooke Mueller was arrested and charged with possession and assault in Aspen, Colorado. She was arrested in a club called Escobar, which is kind of perfect (and perfectly sketchy), and according to sources, she was held in jail for the rest of Friday night, but she got out on bail in the morning. Radar claims that it was Charlie Sheen who bailed her out. Because almost two years ago exactly, Charlie and Brooke were married, and getting hammered and doing drugs together in Aspen when Charlie decided to choke the hell out of Brooke and threaten to kill her. And now he’s bailing her out. Sigh…

Charlie Sheen stepped up to the plate and posted Brooke Mueller’s bail Saturday morning, a reliable source is telling RadarOnline.com exclusively.

Her own parents, who have been trying to help her stay sober and assist with child care, are said to be furious and wouldn’t come to her rescue this time. “They actually wanted to leave her in jail,” the source says.

As RadarOnline.com reported, Sheen’s ex-wife was arrested in Aspen early Saturday morning. She was busted on a felony charge of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and a misdemeanor charge of assault.

She was released after posting an $11,000 bond, with her first court appearance scheduled for December 19.

“Brooke’s family is done with her, she has to get straight or she is going to die,” the source tell us.

RadarOnline.com has reached out to Sheen’s rep for comment but has not had a reply.

[From Radar]

Is this what rock-bottom looks like? When you’re arrested and charged with assault and your ex-husband, CHARLIE SHEEN, is the one who bails you out? No, you probably have further to go, right? Especially if you’re Brooke. Radar also reports that her doctors and her family want her to do an intensive nine-month rehab. YES. She should totally do that.

Brooke Mueller has been told by medical professionals and her family that she needs to enroll in an in-patient rehab facility for at least nine months, but Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife is refusing to go because she doesn’t want to be away from her twin sons, Bob and Max, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Sheen paid Mueller’s bail after she was arrested over the weekend in Aspen, and charged with felony drug possession, and a misdemeanor charge of assault. She was released after posting an $11,000 bond, with her first court appearance scheduled for December 19.

Brooke has battled an addiction to crack cocaine for most of her adult life, and has been told that she must enter a long term treatment facility, immediately. However, the mother of toddler sons, Bob and Max, is steadfastly refusing to go.

“Brooke has done rehab on her terms in the past. Thirty days isn’t enough for an addict like Brooke. Brooke is calling the shots, and not listening to her family, or medical professionals that are telling her she needs to be at an in-patient facility for at least nine months, and not as a day patient, as she has done in the past. Anything less than nine months is a disservice to Brooke, and frankly, is a total waste,” a source close to the situation tells us.

Mueller is “simply powerless to her addiction right now. It’s a disease and it’s very much in control of her right now. Brooke is the most amazing, caring woman, and mother, when she is sober. Brooke just can’t get in control of her disease, and if she doesn’t finally surrender to it, and listen to what her family, and medical professionals are telling her to do, she could die,” the insider says.

[From Radar]

“Brooke is the most amazing, caring woman, and mother, when she is sober.” But here’s an honest question: has Brooke been sober at all in the past, say, four years? There were rumors that Brooke was even using while pregnant with the twins, and that she was in and out of rehab during that time too. And since giving birth, she’s been looking more and more crackie. Also, I think it’s BS for Brooke to say that she doesn’t want to be away from her kids – from what I’ve seen and heard, Brooke only sees Bob and Max occasionally, and they’re being looked after by Brooke’s extended family. Sad. I wonder if Brooke has ever crossed paths with Lindsay Lohan? Who’s more crackie? I think Brooke might win that one.

Caleb Followill is being “urged” into rehab, “mostly for alcohol”

wenn3381748

Friday, Caleb Followill walked off stage in a drunken, over-heated huff in the middle of the Kings of Leon’s Dallas concert. He never came back on stage, much to the consternation of his bandmates. Immediately after the incident, it seemed like Jared Followill was going to be the one in charge of truth-telling damage control, as he tweeted “There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed. I know you guys aren’t stupid. I can’t lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade.” Unfortunately, Jared’s honesty got pushed aside for standard-issue PR BS yesterday, when the band announced that they were canceling the remainder of their domestic tour because of Caleb’s “vocal issues and exhaustion.” Now Us Weekly has a story from “sources” claiming what everyone has been saying – Caleb has a drinking problem, and his bandmates are trying to force him into rehab:

Kings of Leon fans were crestfallen on Monday when the band cancelled its entire U.S. tour. Although the band said that lead singer Caleb Followill was “suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion,” an insider close to the Grammy winning trio tells Us Weekly the problem is deeper than that.

“They are trying to get Caleb to go to rehab. It is mostly for alcohol,” the source says. “[That's why] they ended up canceling the whole tour… he drinks like a fish.”

Indeed, the band cut short a Friday concert in Dallas when Caleb told fans “I’m gonna go backstage and I’m gonna vomit, I’m gonna drink a beer,” leaving the stage for the night.
Adds a second source: “It’s true. Caleb’s drinking is out of control and they are trying to get him into rehab. It’s a dark demon he has been fighting for awhile.”

A rep for the band tells Us: “The reason for the cancellation of the tour is Caleb is under doctor’s orders for vocal rest. They feel terrible about canceling. They look forward to getting back on the road at the end of September.”

Caleb’s bandmate and brother Jared hinted at Caleb’s struggles via Twitter.

“There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed,” Jared wrote Saturday. “I know you guys aren’t stupid. I can’t lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade.”

On Monday, after news of the cancelled tour went wide, he added: “Utterly depressed. It’s completely out of my hands. Family has to come 1st.”

Counters a third band source: “They all drink, all the [bandmates]. Anyone in a band usually likes to have a few beers on the road…They have never discussed [Caleb's drinking] as a problem before.”

[From Us Weekly]

On one side, I think rock n’ roll and alcohol go together like vodka and Fritos (mm…). After all, look at Keith Richards, the patron saint of surviving nearly any kind of addiction you could imagine. Of course, for every Keith, there are a dozen Amy Winehouses, so on that side, I think it’s a good sign that Caleb has people around him who give a crap.

What are the thoughts on whether Caleb really has a drinking problem, or whether he just drinks too much? It’s a slippery slope. I think his bandmates probably thought he just drank too much until one night he couldn’t even finish a performance.

Eric Dane is in rehab, what’s really going on?

wenn3413142Eric Dane goofs around with a lady he just met

Eric Dane, 38, recently checked into 30 day inpatient rehab to treat what his spokesperson claims is an addiction to pain pills following a back injury. As far as explanations for rehab goes, this one is pretty good and makes it all sound very understandable. He’s got a one year-old daughter at home and his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, just announced her second pregnancy. That must be some serious pain pill addiction if he’s leaving his baby and pregnant wife at home for 30 days in rehab.

Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane recently checked into a Los Angeles rehab clinic, Star magazine is reporting.

The Dr. McSteamy hunk entered The Hills Treatment Center, a sober living recovery residence in West Los Angeles, in mid-June as a “preventative measure,” a source told Star magazine.

His spokesperson confirmed the 30-day stint and told Star: “Actor Eric Dane voluntarily checked himself into a treatment facility to help him get off of pain medication that he was prescribed for a sports injury that he suffered over the recent hiatus. He reports back to work next week. Business as usual.”

With filming starting back up on his ABC show on July 19, and with his wife Rebecca Gayheart pregnant with the couple’s second child, Dane had far “too much to lose” if he slipped, according to a family friend.

“Eric felt things spiraling out of control and decided he needed to get some help,” the source told Star.

[From Radar]

I’m getting the whiff of some kind of cheating scandal on the horizon that Dane is trying to fend off by going to rehab. I know that sounds heartless, but it’s the cynical gossip in me. Why else would a dad take so much time away from his family? Maybe it’s cut and dried as they’re trying to make it sound, but I’m guessing we haven’t heard the bulk of this story yet. At least he’s going to rehab now before his second child comes.

I wrote all that before I saw these photos of Lane with his arm around some “mystery woman” outside a jewelry store on June 25th. It looks like the guy is joking around and doesn’t seem to be a cheating situation. The photo agency writes that he “played a joke on the waiting paparazzi by leaving the IWC store with a mystery woman, who turns out to be a member of the public also shopping at the same store.” He definitely could be looped out of his mind, judging from these photos.

Long Island long ago lolita Amy Fisher gets a new face: melting plastic mess

You might remember Amy Fisher as the “Long Island lolita” who was just 17 in 1992 when she shot her then boyfriend’s wife, Mary Jo Buttafuoco, in the head, seriously injuring her. Fisher’s victim survived the shooting but suffered partial paralysis in her face and went deaf in one ear. Fisher spent seven years in prison and eventually got out, becoming a journalist for a while before she had three kids and then turned to stripping and porn to make a living. She somehow landed a spot on Celebrity Rehab, because they’ll take anyone except for Michaele Salahi, and she got a whole new face for it. Entertainment Tonight has an interview with her and Fisher has one of the worst cases of freeze face and trout pout I’ve ever seen. It’s hilarious! She can barely move her mouth and that’s the only thing that moves on her whole face.

amyfisherbeforeafter
In the interview, Fisher, 36, goes on about how the media portrays her inaccurately (as if they cover her at all lately) and how she’s really this sweet shy person who gets stepped on, but all I could focus on was her face. ET had the above before and after comparison. I could see maybe a nose job, her nose looks better afterwards, but the rest is just ridiculous. She has way too much filler in her lips and face and you can actually see some dimpling around her jaw area. It’s pretty gross looking. She looked ok after her first few rounds of work though, as seen in these “sexy” photos from her website, below. Now she’s just gone overboard. I think she needs rehab for her plastic surgery addiction.

‘Jackass’ Steve-O is sober now, but he used to do coke with Linnocent

wenn3048917

I don’t even want to get into the ongoing controversies surrounding the death of Ryan Dunn, but this story was irresistible to me. I guess PopEater decided to check in with some of the other Jackass dudes who are still alive, and wouldn’t you know, Steve-O happens to be promoting his memoir, Professional Idiot: A Memoir, this week. I’ve never really cared for Steve-O when I watched Jackass episodes, so this is a new experience… I actually like him in this interview. He talks about Johnny Knoxville and a group of friends forcing him to get sober, and how he’s lucky to be alive because of their intervention. But the best part of this interview is when he talks about how he used snort mountains of cocaine with famous people. He’s got a hilarious Linnocent story!

Steve-O on being forced in sobriety: “Johnny Knoxville and a bunch of our ‘Jackass’ crew staged an intervention and they forcibly locked me up in a psychiatric ward,” Steve O told me. “When I got to the hospital I was so belligerent that they changed my status to 2 weeks. So the 3 days went to 2 weeks and with that kind of time on my hands in a psych ward I eventually came to the conclusion that I really needed to make a change.”

He’s been sober for more than three years: Steve-O had suffered with alcohol and drug additions through out his life until Johnny stepped in on March 10th of 2008, a date Steve will never forget … the date he finally got sober. Admitting that if it weren’t for Johnny he would be dead, Steve-O told me about how dark and lonely his days would be when he was high. “For me it stopped being a gathering,” he said. “I was sitting alone and watching people walk around my apartment who were never actually there. It all turns on you man. It got really dark and the reason why I needed to make a change is that I truthfully turned into this nasty sh*thead. Just a douche bag.”

The Linnocent story: “I’ve done a lot of drugs with Lindsay (Lohan), but everybody knows that. Lindsay was over at my house one time and she was in my bathroom probably selfishly not sharing drugs,” Steve O revealed. “But while she was in there, I pulled out my camera and I got this crazy footage. And some time passed and later I go in my bathroom and I find that she left her wallet, so I sent her this text and I said Lindsay, you left your wallet in my bathroom. This was when she was in rehab and she told me to bring it to her. So I meet her in the driveway of this Wonderland Rehab that she’s in and I make her sign a release form of the footage that I have.”

Doing coke with Mike Tyson: “[Me and] Mike Tyson locked ourselves in the bathroom in this big mansion … so here I am with Mike Tyson locked in this bathroom in this big mansion just doing piles of cocaine and I looked at him and said ‘you know Mike, I’m not a racist guy, but I would like to say I consider myself a [n-word]. And we had a big discussion over this pile of cocaine. My point was that if we could take the color out of this word then we would really diffuse it as a weapon. Mike Tyson said the definition of that word is the people who use it and I thought that was very insightful.”

I wonder how long ago that Mike Tyson incident happened? I didn’t know Mike was a raging cokehead too, but the best is part is still the Linnocent stuff. Will Mother Crackhead even deign to deny it? Will Linnocent? I looked it up – Linnocent’s Wonderland Rehab stay was back in January 2007. And Linnocent already admitted to experimenting with cocaine back in the day, so she’ll probably just say it’s all in the past and now she’s fine. OH WAIT. Is Steve-O talking about THIS? In 2007, stills from a video were released of Linnocent on a 20-hour cocaine binge just days after leaving rehab. Did Steve-O shoot that video? Probably. After all, Linnocent also stole his cocaine back in the day too.
