Denise Richards turns down Charlie Sheen’s offer of more child support for twins

Denise Richards has been caring for her ex husband, Charlie Sheen’s twin four year-old sons, Max and Bob, while their mother, Brooke Mueller, is in rehab for a reported crystal meth addiction. Brooke was put on a 5150 psychiatric hold a little over a week ago. She went missing for a couple of days afterwards and then went off to rehab. This is Brooke’s 20th stint in rehab, and she made the genius decision to go to the Betty Ford Center because she wanted to hang out with Lindsay Lohan.

Denise is a single mom with five kids at home under 10, but she’s not doing it for the money. She already makes a whopping $55,000 a month from Charlie in child support for their two daughters together, Sam, 9, and Lola, 7. (Denise also has an adopted daughter who is two.) Charlie reportedly offered her more money for caring for the twins and Denise turned him down! She did accept an offer to use his private plane to fly from New York to LA so she could see the kids on Mother’s Day. The kids were spotted out with Denise’s dad, who was presumably caring for them (along with a nanny) while Denise was away.

Meanwhile Brooke is squandering the $55,000 a month she makes from Charlie, she has no money saved at all and she’s afraid that her child support will get cut off now that Denise has temporary custody. She tried to strip guardianship from Denise and give it to her brother so that she can still draw checks from Charlie. Methhead logic. Thankfully this plan failed and the judge upheld the ruling that Denise has temporary guardianship.

Charlie isn’t about to cut Brooke off, and he probably didn’t think that her drug use was a problem until it got so bad she had to be put on a psychiatric hold. TMZ came out yesterday with more details about Brooke’s involuntary hospitalization. They claim that cops were called after she assaulted a man at her house and that she was ranting and raving about Charlie’s connections to the mafia, claiming she would bring him down. Their sources state that she was hopped up on Adderall, but I tend to believe Radar’s reports that she’s a meth addict. Charlie should call Brooke’s bluff and stop the money flowing, but I doubt that will keep her from using.

Oh and Radar reports that Brooke went to rehab twice for crystal meth addiction while she was pregnant with the twins. We’ve heard rumors about that in the past and it’s not surprising.

Denise Richards is shown with her two oldest daughters and her dad on 5-8-13. She’s also shown on 4-28-13. Brooke Mueller is shown on 12-7-13 and out with Denise and their kids on 9-9-12. Charlie Sheen is shown on 4-11-13. Credit: FameFlynet and WENN.com

Brooke Mueller checked into Betty Ford so she could rehab with Lindsay Lohan

Two women who have both slept with Charlie Sheen and received large payouts from him, who have both been in rehab more times than they can count, and who are both in rehab this latest time against their will, are now in the same rehab together. What could go wrong? I’m sure they’re there to get sober and support each other as they work the program. Both TMZ and Radar report that Brooke Mueller has checked into Betty Ford so that she can be in rehab with Lindsay Lohan. Let’s see, Brooke’s rep recently confirmed that his client was in rehab for a prescription drug habit (cough crystal meth) and that she would be there for 30 days. Lindsay is in court-ordered rehab for 90 days. This is Brooke’s 20th time in rehab, that’s no exaggeration, and it’s really hard to confirm this but I think this is Lindsay’s sixth time.

According to Radar, Brooke went to Betty Ford because she wanted to hang out with Lindsay:

Charlie Sheen‘s ex-wife Brooke Mueller Thursday entered the Betty Ford clinic for a 30-day stint, because she specifically wanted to be in rehab with Lindsay Lohan RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The 35-year-old mother of Sheen’s twin boys Bob and Max was not legally forced to enter rehab, sources told us, adding that she’s not guaranteed to receive custody of the boys back when she’s through.

Insiders told us the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services didn’t want the former Palm Beach socialite going to the Rancho Mirage, Calif.-based facility because of the LiLo factor – Mueller apparently disagreed with their opinion.

The boys are currently cared for by Sheen’s other ex-wife Denise Richards who’s slated to attend a hearing in child dependency court early next month.

As we previously reported, Sheen last week issued a statement in support of DCFS’s decision to remove the 4-year-olds from their mother’s home.

All parties in the case have been instructed not to publicly speak on matters.

[From Radar Online]

This is such a bad idea, but these genius addicts are anything but practical. If there are any staffers at Betty Ford left who will stand up to them, you know that they’re going to get pelted with telephones while these two carry out a crack scheme to sneak out to a local bar. Or they’ll call up Charlie and promise him a threesome in exchange for drugs. What a mess this is going to be. At least Lohan is supposed to stay another two months after Brooke leaves but I doubt that’s going to happen. I’m surprised that we haven’t heard anything about her in a couple of days. It seems just about time for her to bust out and go shopping for some sea jasper.

Charlie Sheen & Denise have emergency custody hearing, judge gets ‘shocking report’

We heard last week that Brooke Mueller’s four year-old twins, sons Max and Bob, had been taken away by social workers following Brooke’s involuntary hospitalization for drug use. Max and Bob were placed under the temporary care of Denise Richards, the first ex-wife of their dad, Charlie Sheen. Denise has cared for the boys in the past but apparently they were with their mom when she got deep into drugs this time. Brooke was reportedly a crystal meth addict, although her rep only admitted that she was addicted to “prescription drugs” when she checked into rehab this time.

Yesterday Denise and Charlie attended an emergency custody hearing to review the boys’ placement. The judge agreed that they should stay with Denise, who is already a single mom to three daughters under 10. Their dad Charlie has agreed that the best place for the boys is with Denise, and the judge upheld that. He also read a “shocking report about conditions in Brooke Mueller’s home.” No news outlets have details of that report, but we can imagine how bad it was if Brooke was high on crystal meth all the time. There may be a reason that we aren’t getting specifics. Radar reports that the judge issued a gag order so that none of the parties leaks information to the press.

A judge overseeing the custody battle for Charlie Sheen and ex-wife Brooke Mueller‘s twins issued a gag order Tuesday preventing them from discussing the case, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Lawyers for all sides were in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday for an emergency hearing — Charlie and Denise Richards, the boys’ temporary guardian, showed up too — in the wake of Brooke, 35, being placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold and later checking into rehab to deal with her drug addiction.

The court reportedly maintained status quo, ordering that Bob and Max, 4, remain with Denise and her two daughters with the Anger Management star — Sam, 9, and Lola, 7 — as well as a third daughter she adopted on her own in 2011, Eloise, who is almost two years old.

But a source said: “The judge ordered no comment to anyone from everyone involved in the case.”

Late last week, Sheen went public with a statement declaring his support of the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services who removed Bob and Max from their mother’s home late on Thursday.

“Charlie supports the actions of the Department of Children and Family Services,” the star’s publicist said.

“He knows Max and Bob are safe and in a stable, loving environment with Denise and the boys’s sisters. Charlie will fully cooperate and fully participate in all proceedings.”

[From Radar Online]

Radar has had direct statements from Charlie in the past, so they’re probably getting this information from him. It was a smart move by that judge, he probably realizes whom he’s dealing with. It’s just sad that these boys had to see their mother like that, but at least a responsible person close to them stepped up when it was needed. It’s not like Charlie could have cared for his sons with the help of his goddesses of the month, ordered from the “Barely Legal” film franchise. He knows he’s not equipped to be a full time dad. That’s more than you can say for Brooke.

Denise Richards caring for crystal meth addict Brooke Mueller’s twins

Denise and Brooke with their kids in September, 2012

Last week we heard that Charlie Sheen’s ex wife, Brooke Mueller, had her four year-old twin boys taken away by child protective services. We didn’t report it because I assumed the boys were being cared for by Charlie’s other ex, Denise Richards, for some time and that it was just a formality. Brooke has been a drugged-out mess for years, and she’s been in and out of rehab while relatives have been watching her kids. It sounds like the boys were still with Brooke though, and it was reported that social workers had to step in to formally remove them and place them in Denise’s care. Denise has been appointed a temporary guardian, which Charlie says was the right decision. (I would say who cares what Charlie thinks, but he’s their dad. His goddesses were probably better babysitters than Brooke.)

It turns out there was a lot of drama behind the scenes. According to Radar Online, Brooke lost custody of the twins after she was placed on an involuntary 5150 psychiatric hold at UCLA medical center. She was strung out on crystal meth when they took her in. She refused to stay past the two days they were legally allowed to hold her and then she went missing, turning off her cell phone so her friends and family had no way to contact her. She finally checked into some kind of treatment, and it sounds like she’s going to get short term treatment for detox and then will transition into a residential rehab. She’s done that several times in the past and we’ve seen how well that’s worked out for her. Here’s more:

“Brooke was released from the hold last week but she made the decision that it’s in her best interests to seek treatment for her drug addiction at UCLA, at least, in the short term,” a source close to the troubled socialite revealed.

“The plan is for Brooke to stabilize and then she’ll move to to another treatment facility soon.”
Added the source: “It was Brooke’s sole decision to check back into UCLA.”

In a statement, a rep for Mueller, said she’ll “likely transition directly into a residential treatment facility to get help for prescription drug abuse.”

“Brooke misses her children and wants to get healthy so she can resume her life and get back to being a mom,” Steve Honig added.

[From Radar]

Well I hope it sticks this time for her, but she keeps relapsing hard. Meanwhile the boys will stay with Denise for some time.

DCFS had been investigating and monitoring Brooke Mueller’s care of her twins for at least four months. An investigation was opened because of her ongoing alleged drug use around the boys, and her inability to care for them,” the source tells us.

“The boys will stay with Denise for the foreseeable future, and social workers just won’t hand the boys over to Brooke if she finally decides to get help. Brooke is going to have to jump through hoops just to get supervised visitation with the boys. Brooke was given every opportunity to clean up her act to avoid this, but she is just lost to the disease at this point.

“Denise has told social workers that the boys can stay with her for as long as necessary. She has stepped up big time and the social workers are amazed at the love she has for the boys,” the source reveals.

[From Radar]

Denise is now a single mom to five kids! She surely has help since she gets a lot of cash from Charlie still, but that’s so much for one person to take on. She has daughters Sam, 8, Lola, who turns 7 next month, and she adopted daughter Eloise about two years ago. Charlie is so lucky that Denise is watching his boys. She’s proven herself over and over again since their divorce.

Lindsay Lohan can attend rehab prosecutors never approved (update: she left!)

As Kaiser covered earlier, today was the day Lindsay Lohan was supposed to check into rehab. Kaiser pre-wrote some of this before I watched the hearing and jacked this story from her, so I’m just going to use her introduction and put it in quotes: “Not just any rehab: the prosecutor and judge signed off on the rehab in the Hamptons, but Lindsay refused to go because they would let her smoke cigarettes (not to mention crack). So now Lindsay is weeping and she’s hysterical and her dad won’t stop giving interviews and OH BY THE WAY she’s already in violation of her plea deal. Because of course. The California justice system is going to sentence her to TWO gentle pats on the firecrotch for this!”

Again, Kaiser pre-wrote that paragraph above before the hearing, and of course she was right. Of course nothing happened to The Teflon Cracken, and of course she got away with switching rehabs at the last minute. In today’s hearing, the prosecutor Terry White expressed his frustration at the last minute change in rehabs. He said that he had been given a list of six rehabs some time ago, that he researched them all, spoke to rehab directors, and picked the one he considered acceptable. Instead, he was told about five minutes before today’s hearing that a different rehab was chosen, and was given a letter claiming that the rehab was acceptable, instead of being allowed to do his own research.

White said that he had quickly looked into Lindsay’s chosen rehab, Morningside in Newport Beach, CA where she allegedly is now, and had found three articles from the past year condemning it. Score for Lindsay! The whole hearing was a score for Lindsay, because the judge didn’t seem to be swayed by the prosecution and said she could stay in that rehab, unless prosecutors objected. The prosecution has until May 10th to evaluate the place. It almost doesn’t matter if prosecutors object to that particular rehab, because they still have to prove that the rehab doesn’t “fall within the parameters of the plea agreement.” The judge kept emphasizing that point, so I bet that objection never happens. TMZ did some research and found that Morningside had its license revoked just last year for “being careless with prescription drugs.” Again, score for Lindsay! She’ll be able to get all the Adderall and Vicodin she needs to get through the day.

I just wanted to share the most ridiculous line from today’s hearing. Lindsay’s My Cousin Vinny lawyer, Mark Heller, insisted that “My client is ensconced in the bosom of that facility right now.” Sucking at the teat of denial, addiction and entitlement.

If the prosecution doesn’t object, Lindsay will stay at Morningside rehab until July 31st. If she’s in compliance and finishes treatment, she doesn’t have to go back to court at that time and her lawyer can appear for her.

Update: Radar is reporting that Lindsay walked right in and right out of rehab and quotes a source who says “She told people there that she didn’t need rehab. And then she left. Everyone was stunned.” Meanwhile TMZ has a photo of Lindsay shopping in electronic store Fry’s at 9am Pacific time, when her lawyer assured the judge she was already “ensconced in the bosom of that facility.” She wasn’t in rehab a couple of hours later either, and – get this – the rehab lost its license for good last year, and is only a “sober living facility,” one that Lohan refuses to even stick with for a day. It’s about to get interesting.

Dina Eastwood checks into rehab for ‘depression and anxiety,’ allegedly

We heard months ago that Dina and Clint Eastwood were living apart and on the verge of splitting. The news came following Dina’s disaster of a one-season reality show, “Mrs. Eastwood & Company,” which Clint is said to to have grudgingly put up with. He wasn’t a central character on the show, and whether that’s because he was against it or because he wasn’t that involved in Dina’s life at the time is hard to tell. It was maybe a little of both. These two haven’t been seen together publicly (that we know of) in months, and the last we heard they were very chilly toward each other at last month’s wedding of Clint’s daughter, Alison.

Now Dina, 47, has checked into rehab for “depression and anxiety,” and her people are insisting that it’s not for substance abuse at all. I don’t understand that. Are there rehabs for psychological treatment, or can the AA philosophy extend to treating those type of issues? I guess it’s possible, Ashley Judd went to rehab in 2006 for psychological treatment, and she says it helped her. Here’s more:

Clint Eastwood’s wife Dina has checked herself into rehab for help with depression and anxiety … TMZ has learned.

Dina, who stars in her own reality show with Clint’s daughter Francesca — “Mrs. Eastwood & Company” — entered an exclusive facility in Arizona … sources close to the family tell us.

We’re told she is NOT being treated for substance abuse.

Clint and Dina have been married since 1996 and have a 16-year-old daughter, Morgan, who also stars in the reality show.

Clint is no stranger to the treatment facility circuit – He’s a major donor to a hospital in Monterey, CA … which named its youth program after him. The program specializes in teen drug, alcohol and mental health issues.

We’ve reached out to the Eastwood family — so far no comment.

[From TMZ]

Another celebrity who claimed to have sought rehab for depression is Kirsten Dunst. (I was going to add Eva Mendes in there, but it was reported that she had a substance abuse problem and she did speak about it.) In Kirsten’s case it sounded like she didn’t want the press to focus on her addiction, but that’s her prerogative and maybe she thought her career would take a hit. In Dina’s case, I would think she would go to a high end spa for a few weeks or seek out another kind of under-the-radar treatment, unless it was very serious. Whatever is going on with her, I hope she’s ok and is hanging in there.

Cory Monteith voluntarily checks into rehab for ‘substance addiction’

Wow, I was not expecting this at all. Granted, it’s not like I keep a list of “Celebrities Who Will Probably Check Into Rehab This Year,” but if I did keep a list like that, I wouldn’t have added Cory Monteith’s name. According to an official and exclusive statement to People Magazine, Cory is checking into rehab to deal with “substance addiction”. He doesn’t specify what substance, so your guess is as good as mine:

Actor Cory Monteith, who stars as Finn Hudson on the Fox series Glee, has checked into rehab, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

The actor “has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction,” his rep tells PEOPLE. “He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.”

Monteith, 30, has been open about his past struggles with substance abuse. He admitted in a 2011 interview that he had previously entered rehab when he was 19.

At the time, the actor said he hoped being honest about his struggle with substance addiction would help others.

“I don’t want kids to think it’s okay to drop out of school and get high, and they’ll be famous actors, too,” he said in 2011. “But for those people who might give up: Get real about what you want and go after it.”

[From People]

Oh, I think I knew that already, that he had been in rehab as a kid? But I had forgotten it. Well, I have to applaud Cory for dealing with these issues BEFORE he caused a car accident or punched his dealer in a club at 3 am. Ever since Cory got together with Lea Michele, they both have seemed… nicer. Less famewhore-y. And they haven’t been courting the media either. For what it’s worth, Lea issued her own statement about her boyfriend’s rehab:

Glee star Lea Michele is supporting her costar and boyfriend Cory Monteith as he enters rehab for substance addiction.

“I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I am grateful and proud he made this decision.”

Michele and Monteith took their romance public in April of last year and have been spotted around Los Angeles together, most recently at a Los Angeles Kings game on March 23.

Michele, 26, has been quite vocal about her feelings for her beau, telling PEOPLE in 2012, “He really, really inspires me, and he motivates me and I think he’s just so talented.”

[From People]

She’s 26 years old – the same age as Lindsay Lohan. I’m not comparing them, I just found it interesting that they’re the same age. I wonder if Lea realized Cory had a problem? I wonder if Lea was the one to suggest that he check into rehab again? Anyway, send good thoughts to Cory.

Lindsay Lohan ‘adamant’ that she not be forced into rehab until after Coachella

I completely forgot that Coachella was coming up. It will probably be the second week of April, maybe? Sorry, hippies, Coachella is barely on my radar – I’m old and I don’t care for music festivals, Porto-potties, Gerard Butler slobber or overpriced bottles of water. Although I probably would have liked last year’s Hologram Tupac. I am genuinely sorry I didn’t see that. Anyway, Coachella is coming up very soon and wouldn’t you know, our favorite cracktastrophe wants to make sure that she doesn’t check into rehab and miss the amazing Crackella festival.

During the last minute plea talks between Lindsay Lohan‘s attorney, Mark Heller, and prosecutors handling her lying to cops case, the wayward actress told him to keep her out of rehab until AFTER the Coachella music festival so she could attend, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

“Lindsay was adamant that she not be forced to go to rehab until after the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the Palm Springs area on successive weekends in April. Lindsay LOVES going to the musical festival, and she’s determined to go this year. She didn’t want a little thing like rehab to get in her way of attending. Linds refused to sign off on any deal that would have prevented her from going to Coachella, period. Yes, it’s that important to her, for some strange reason,” a source told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

Perhaps Lilo’s new romance with musician and club promoter, Avi Snow, has made the Mean Girls star,26, even more resolute in her determination to go to the concerts.

Lohan has attended the Coachella music festival in 2010, 2011, and 2012. This year’s festivities take place on April 12, 14, 19, 21, and the line-up includes the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Lumineers, Moby, and the Airborne Toxic Event.

Avi was said to be on the Mr. Pink private jet that flew Lindsay to Los Angeles early Tuesday morning for her day in court. And after Lindsay posed for her latest mug shot, she hot-footed it to City of the Sun’s show at private club 41 Ocean in Santa Monica.

As we previously reported, during a plea deal that Lohan reached last week in her lying to cops case, the actress was ordered to enroll in a rehab facility, by no later than mid-May. This will be Lohan’s SIXTH trip to rehab since 2007, and she’s spent a total of 250 days getting treatment for alcohol and prescription drug abuse.

“Lindsay will be treated for prescription drug and alcohol addiction during her stay,” a source previously told Radar. “Lindsay’s prescription drugs of choice are Adderall and Xanax, and in addition, she consumes large amounts of alcohol — specifically, vodka. The main problem when it comes to Lindsay ever getting sober is her absolute denial that she has any substance abuse issues. Once again, she is only going to rehab purely because it’s a slightly more attractive alternative than going to jail. Of course, there is hope that once Lindsay is undergoing treatment she will recognize that she does in fact have a problem — but given her history, it’s very doubtful.”

The saddest aspect of “Lindsay’s criminal history is that it’s all traced back to her addiction issues. Everyone around Lindsay has tried to get her sober — her father Michael, three judges, two prosecutors, and two criminal defense attorneys. She is in absolute denial about her addiction issues and doesn’t want to get sober. It’s just not a lifestyle she wants,” the insider told us.

[From Radar]

I wonder if the prosecution knew that Lindsay was drawing out the negotiations because she wanted to get blitzed at a music festival? Probably. It’s LA. The prosecutor was probably like, “Dude, can I get a ride?” But I’ll tell you one weird thing… I make a lot of “jokes” about Lindsay being a prostitute and how she gets “work” but the idea of a wayward hooker at the Coachella festival doesn’t really jive. Meaning… I think she’s going to Coachella for FUN, not because she’s being “paid”. Does that make it better?

Also – Lindsay was actually early to Anger Management set yesterday. She showed up before her 10 am call time! No worries, I’m sure it was just an accident.

Denise Richards on caring for Charlie Sheen’s twin boys: ‘They’re our family”

Denise Richards, Brooke Mueller and their kids out together in September

This is kind of a heart-warming story of a lone sober, responsible person, picking up the slack in Charlie Sheen’s mess of a life. So Charlie’s last ex wife, Brooke Mueller, entered rehab for the 19th time (literally, I’m not exaggerating) a couple of weeks ago after failing a court-ordered drug test and violating probation. Brooke is facing jail time, but that didn’t make her 19th stay in rehab stick at all. She left rehab after less than a week, using the excuse that she only needed to “detox.” I haven’t been following the updates on TMZ about this, but a quick look reveals that Brooke, 35, was under investigation by Child and Family Services while she was in rehab/detox (she has three and a half year-old twin sons, Bob and Max, with Charlie) and that the boys went to Charlie’s other ex, Denise Richards, to stay. Then Brooke tried to take the boys back, which she can legally do because she has custody still, and had them stay with another relative until she was done with rehab. She decided to do this after a beef with Denise over the fact that Denise wanted to let the boys see their dad, Charlie. Are you eyes glazing over yet? There’s more in this story on TMZ if you’re interested in the stupid details. Addicts are so logical and so concerned about their children’s welfare.

Anyway, again here’s Denise Richards, providing some semblance of normalcy in the lives of sweet, innocent little boys who are used to be cared for by prostitutes and an addict mom. (Not that prostitutes can’t be decent caregivers, especially when compared to Brooke.) Denise told Access Hollywood that the boys can stay with her and her three girls anytime, and that they’re family. The bad news is that they’re back with Brooke now that she’s out of rehab.

The beauty stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday, where she chatted about her work with ShoeDazzle – which is benefitting the Kidney Cancer Association – and she also spoke about helping Charlie and Brooke care for their 3-year-old twin sons, Bob and Max, while Brooke was reportedly in rehab.

”[The twins] are back with Brooke Mueller,” Denise told Billy Bush and guest co-host Vinny Guadagnino.

With the twins – plus her daughters Sam, 8, Lola, 7 and Eloise, 18 months, Denise had her hands full.

“This is not the first time I’ve had all five, they’re Sam and Lola’s brothers. It was a full house, lots of love and life,” she explained. “Brooke knows anytime, and Charlie, that any time they need help with the boys, that I’m there.”

Despite divorces and past problems, the actress stressed that they put their family first.

“They’re our family and they’re Sam and Lola’s brothers and I can’t imagine growing up without my sister, so anytime she needs help, I’m there for the boys,” she continued. “[Sam and Lola] are the best big sisters to [the boys] and they love them.”

Adding, “I know it doesn’t seem normal, but it is our normal. They’re little kids and I love children, and like I said, it’s our daughter’s brothers, so I can’t say no.”

[From Access Hollywood]

I’ve heard some horror stories about California CFS and I’ve leave it at that. So don’t expect Brooke Mueller to lose custody anytime soon, despite the fact that she’s failing drug tests and is so obviously wasted out of her mind. At least Denise Richards is there to help when needed, but how confusing must it be for those little boys to have to be shuffled around like that? I just feel for them. It’s possible that Brooke will get some jail time and that Max and Bob will have to go live with Denise for a while, but again this is California. That’s not going to happen.

Brandi Glanville: LeAnn Rimes ‘went to Twee-hab. It’s rehab for social media anxiety’

Brandi Glanville had an interview on VH1 morning buzz (video is above and at this link) in which she talked about her upcoming tell all book, her relationship with LeAnn Rimes, and her recent trip to the emergency room. Brandi is really ramping up her appearances now that the new season of RHOBH has premiered and she has a new book coming out. I have to hand it to her, she knows how to give good quotes and dish the dirt in order to get coverage. Brandi confirmed that the name of her new book is Don’t Drink and Tweet… and Other Breakup Blunders, the title for which was chosen among three different options by her Twitter followers. It won’t just be a cautionary tale, and she’ll tell us what when on during her divorce, as she confirms in this interview:

On her hospitalization
I had a little scare because I had an allergic reaction to antibiotics and I thought I was having a heart attack because it was chest pain and I couldn’t feel my arms and legs… it turns out it was an allergic reaction to antibiotics.

The title of her new book, which was chosen by fans
Don’t Drink and Tweet… and Other Breakup Blunders

On the book
There’s so much in it you don’t know. I shared so many embarrassing moments and things I shouldn’t tell anyone ever… I’m very very worried. I’m putting it out there so I’m going to have to deal with it.

On saying to LeAnn “you win, now go make music”
I said that on a show. You don’t have to keep putting pictures of my children, in their Halloween costumes, on Twitter. You won, you got the man, you got the house, you got the kids. I think that’s where that’s coming from.

On if the book will tell what happened behind the scenes during the divorce
You’re going to learn so much more. He’s not going to like me. It’s not that it’s about him, it’s my story, it’s just how I dealt with what happened, the embarrassing things. But I do have to kind of recount what happened.

[Transcribed from video on VH1.com]

She’s being a little cagey when it comes to how much she’ll reveal in the book, isn’t she? It’s like she’s deliberately teasing her ex and his new wife. As for telling LeAnn to back off, it’s like LeAnn keeps pushing and pushing and Brandi needs to continue to be clear about the boundaries. It’s not like she’s calling LeAnn names at all, she’s just pointing out what happened and how LeAnn is behaving, which speaks for itself. Now that Brandi has her own platform she’s definitely not letting this opportunity pass her by.

After I wrote all that, I found yet another new interview with Brandi, on “Watch What Happens Live”, in which she called out LeAnn Rimes for being jealous of her and needing to go to rehab for it. To be fair, a caller asked specifically if Brandi thought LeAnn was jealous, but she didn’t hold anything back. She also seemed kind of buzzed to me.

Given her contentious history with Rimes, we’re not surprised that Glanville took the bait when a WWHL caller asked this question: “Does Brandi think that LeAnn is a little jealous of her, now that [Brandi] is more of a household name?”

After hedging for a second (but just a second!), Brandi coolly responded, “I think that she was jealous of me before anyone knew who I was.”

When host Andy Cohen asked if the jealousy had gotten worse since Glanville became a reality star, Brandi nodded.

“Hel-lo! She went to Twee-hab!” Glanville laughed. “It’s rehab for social media anxiety. I swear.”

Fellow guest Willie Geist expressed disbelief that “Twee-hab” actually existed, but Brandi was adamant, saying it’s for when “[you get so upset about] what strangers are saying about you, that you have to go to a facility.”

Now, in Brandi’s defense, LeAnn Rimes has admitted to the media that her emotional breakdown, for which she checked into a 30-day treatment program, was triggered by social media anxiety.

Again, Brandi isn’t saying anything people don’t know and I’ll leave it at that.
