Victoria Beckham decided to finally put a little effort into her overpriced line of jeans, dVb. The line was barely selling at Kitson and the few other places that sold it. Not only were they running for $250 a pair (and up), but Victoria wasn’t doing any promotion for them. Which makes a person wonder, why bother buying her jeans when she clearly doesn’t care about them either?

Victoria decided to promote the jeans at Harrods, and gave one of those traditionally in-depth interviews that really reveals her psyche.

In the second part of Victoria Beckham’s exclusive interview on GMTV, the fashion queen talks to Fiona Phillips about her new dVb jeans range, her love of high heels, and why David likes her without makeup.

Fiona Phillips: So you’re back home, but it’s a working trip isn’t it?

Victoria Beckham: It’s a working trip. I have an event today at Harrods – I’m launching a concessions where I sell my jeans, my DVB jeans, so I’m very excited about that.

FP: So fashion is your passion?

VB: Yeah, I’ve been welcomed by the fashion industry – which, you know, being me has a lot of stigma attached to it. I am a footballer’s wife and I was in a pop group. And I love fashion. I love high fashion.

FP: I don’t know how, because I’ve seen pictures of you all over the place shopping where… I don’t know how you wear high heels all the time?

VB: I just can’t concentrate in flats.

Victoria also goes on to say how she would work out, but she doesn’t because she can’t stand the footwear. I’ll point out that the last thing that woman needs is to spend much time at the gym. Heaven forbid she somehow wind up even skinnier. Though it would be good for her to eat more AND go to the gym.

Posh also notes that she realizes she often has a sour expression on her face, but says she’s not crabby like she appears. She attributes it to her facial structure, and says she just looks the way she looks. Interestingly, she was more than willing to change the looks of her boobs, but apparently the grimace is fine the way it is.

Heidi Klum’s birthday present to Victoria Beckham was either meant for her three boys and husband, or was a not-so-subtle encouragement for Posh to gain some much-needed weight. Since it’s Klum we’re talking about, I would bet that she meant it as more of a family gift. After she handled the minor controversy with Iman so well, I don’t consider her capable of sending cupcakes to Posh to try and tempt the stick-thin paparazzi target into eating something.

Klum had a dozen cupcakes from celebrity favorite elite bakery Sprinkles sent to Posh for her 34th birthday with a note that said “Happy Birthday - expect a dozen every Friday! Love, Heidi.”

In Touch reported this news in their latest issue, and said that it will probably cost around $2,000 for the weekly cupcake delivery service.

The Sprinkles website is well designed and makes me want to stuff one of those overpriced delectables into my mouth. A gift box of just a dozen costs a whopping $46, so if Heidi sent a year’s worth it’s around $2,400 not including delivery costs.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are also cupcake aficionados, and Tom told Oprah that Katie won his kids over by bringing cupcakes the first time he met her. Cupcakes were on the table in the kitchen when Oprah came over, with Tom calling their home “the sugar house.”

It’s not like “Kate” eats even one of those a day, and they’re more for the kids. In Touch reminds us that Victoria Beckham said “no” when Barbara Walters asked her if she would ever eat a cookie, as if we needed to hear from her that she doesn’t eat bakery items.

Cupcakes must be the new Hollywood decoration. They’re so colorful, fluffy and completely off limits. Kind of like those glass candies that grandmothers keep in a bowl. Although in this case the pain of eating them is purely psychological.

There was a story earlier in the week that Victoria Beckham refused to support her DVB jean line, which was carried at the popular boutique Kitson in LA, and that both Kitson and Fred Segal were pulling the line for lack of sales. The owner of Kitson confirmed that Victoria wasn’t doing promotional appearances or even showing up at his store to his dismay, but said that it wasn’t true that he would no longer sell her jeans:

Kitson owner Fraser Ross tells PEOPLE, “She’s not supporting the line. It’s not good for her brand and not good for her endorsements. In a tough economy, you need to be in partnership with the people that are selling your line to your fans. That’s the bottom line.” And it’s not like she’s not nearby. Ross tells PEOPLE that “Victoria lives fifteen minutes from the store. That’s just bad business.” But, he hasn’t given up hope in reviving the line and is in talks with her people to prop up the ailing sales. “We haven’t dumped it. Hopefully there will be some kind of resolution.”

Victoria managed to get her skinny ass into Kitson yesterday to promote her insanely expensive jeans, which retail at $250 and up. You can’t help but think that people who are going to pay $250 for a pair of jeans will pick a more prestigious and recognizable brand, and that’s why her BVD line isn’t selling. Plus Victoria’s jeans are among the most expensive in the store, according to a review of their website. She has a line that is among the highest priced and while I don’t know a lot about designer jeans, it seems as if people are going to buy something more popular if they’re willing to shell out that kind of money.

Victoria Beckham sure is having a bad day today. Nobody wants her. According to the Daily Mail, Tom Cruise has had just about enough of Posh and her bad influence on wifebot Katie Holmes. He seems to feel that Katie and Posh have morphed into the same person, who I like to call Kosh. Apparently the weight Katie has lost recently isn’t due to Tom refusing to feed her anything but barely water and vitamins. Instead it’s due to Victoria’s bad influence, and he wants to put a stop to their friendship. And as a little more salt in the wound, Fred Segal and Kitson have dumped Posh’s denim line. Everyone’s dumping poor Vicky.

Victoria Beckham’s new best friends may be Hollywood’s biggest stars – but Tom Cruise is concerned that the Spice Girl is rubbing off on his wife just a bit too much. According to my spies in LA, the actor is keen to put some distance between his actress wife Katie Holmes and Victoria, who have morphed into each other.

“Katie sees Victoria as a role model,” says my mole. “She copies Victoria’s look and even cut her hair the same way. But it concerns Tom that Katie has lost so much weight recently. She is very thin largely because she is following Victoria’s strict 900-calories-a-day eating plan. She is copying Victoria’s fad of eating seaweed shakes, frozen grapes and edamame beans. She is tiny.”

Every so often you hear a story about Victoria giving someone a piece of her mind. It always comes as a surprise since you never really hear her say anything publicly. I always assumed she lacked a voice box. But something tells me Tom’s concern over Posh’s influence in Katie’s life may also have to do with the fact that she’s openly stated she’s not falling for Scientology. And we all know Tom has to control everything and everyone. It seems likely that Posh isn’t the drone Tom requires in a person, and that’s the real problem. Not that I’m supporting a 900 calorie a day lifestyle. But something tells me the problem has less to do with frozen grapes and more to do with Tom’s paralyzing fear of his wifebot being deprogrammed.

That Joan Rivers doesn’t know when to keep her mouth shut. Perhaps it’s not her fault - with all the stuff that’s injected into her face, I think it’s probably due to the fact that her jaws will no longer close properly. Joan has made a living for herself by loudly criticizing famous people [JayBird laughs nervously], even though she’s about as tacky as they come. Though she’s been demoted from most of her red carpet duties, Joan is still blabbing on about the celebrities she hates, and this time she’s taken aim at Victoria Beckham.

Joan Rivers recently insulted Victoria Beckham, saying that she is an “arrogant” woman who is “just a Spice Girl.” Rivers (in her distinctively raspy voice) was holding nothing back during an exclusive interview. “I dislike Victoria Beckham,” she seethed. “The entitlement - the total entitlement. You want to say: ‘Calm down, you were a Spice Girl.’ The arrogance when she walks into a room is astonishing.”

Joan is currently in the process of bashing celebrities in her new stand-up show “Joan Rivers: A Work in Progress by a Life in Progress.” She’s a spitfire, that one. I have a feeling that Victoria doesn’t really care: it’s free publicity, after all.

Um, and you were what Joan, the Secretary of State? Come on. I’m sure Victoria Beckham’s ego is so big it’s hard for her to squeeze through the door, but so far she has yet to annoy billions for generations like Joan Rivers. And if nothing else, Posh generally keeps her mouth shut. While I don’t really think she’s interesting (you generally have to talk to be interesting) there is no way in hell she’s as annoying as Joan Rivers. Arrogant? Sure. Too thin? Check. Way too fake looking? Posh and Joan will have to battle to the death for that title.

The Beckhams won’t sue the woman who claimed she had an affair with David because it’s “not nice.” WTF? I don’t want to go into wasp-y stereotypes or anything, but that’s your reason? Is it nice to claim you slept with someone’s husband? Not so much. I can’t explain why, but I never really bought Loos claims. She’s so obviously opportunistic – and releasing a song about it? Girl you’re not a singer, you’re a “personal assistant.” That means you fetch bottled water and dry cleaning. Posh says she and David won’t sue Loos because she doesn’t want to upset her family life – and frankly that makes a hell of a lot of sense. I’m way to vindictive to let something like that go, but if Posh can really move on, more power to her.

‘I trust my husband 100 per cent,’ says Posh. The Spice Girl, 33, had to deal with Rebecca Loos’ claims that she had an affair with Becks in 2004 but decided not to take legal action.

The Beckhams denounced Rebecca’s allegations as ‘ludicrous’ and ‘absurd’ but that didn’t stop the former PA from making a career out of her notoriety.

Victoria decided to just ignore her. ‘We have children and I wasn’t going to go to court and drag up my personal life,’ she tells Vogue.

‘We have a very nice positive energy around us as a family and if it’s not positive and nice, I don’t want to know about it.’

Talk about rising above someone’s cheap behavior. No matter what the rest of us think, it’s impossible to know what actually happened between David and Rebecca – but what we can know for certain is that whether David cheated or not, Rebecca didn’t need to blab it to the entire world. That was just a cheap attempt at fame. And unfortunately she’s gotten a little bit of it and has released a truly horrendous song. You can listen here but you do so at your own peril. And there’s a 63% chance that your ears will revolt against you and actually jump off your head. But whatever. Good for Posh, either for being secure enough in her relationship not to feel she has to prove anything, or at least looking out for the well-being of her kids by not subjecting the family to more needless speculation.

David and Victoria Beckham’s son Brooklyn turned nine yesterday, and celebrated in grand style. His dad was away with his soccer team the L.A. Galaxy, but Posh Spice managed to do a pretty good job wrangling 25 kids and their parents. The whole event sounded fun but not ridiculously over the top, a la Dannielynn Birkhead’s rediculously lavish first birthday that even featured a giant hot air balloon shaped like a birthday cake. Brooklyn’s birthday took place at the Century City mall and started with dinner at Pink Taco. Though there were certainly some celebrities in attendance, the whole thing sounds pretty normal – at least for something put together by Posh.

David and Victoria Beckham’s oldest son celebrated his big day Tuesday at Century City Mall’s Pink Taco restaurant with his mom, brothers and 25 friends – not to mention Heidi Klum and Eva Longoria Parker. And apparently little brother Cruz, 3 (who attended the party in a Batman costume), isn’t the only Beckham with an interest in break dancing. After catching a movie at the mall, Brooklyn and his pals were entertained by a team of dancers busting hip-hop moves.

As his crew – including brothers Cruz and Romeo, 5 – gathered around, Brooklyn blew out the candles on a Cold Stone Creamery ice-cream cake (decorated to match the break-dancing theme), while his mom snapped photos on her digital camera.

What, no 25 foot tall inflatable break dancer? Are celebs even ALLOWED to do that? With the exception of the team of dancers, everything else sounds like a pretty normal birthday party. I would think in Posh-land, it was downright sedate. People notes that Heidi Klum’s 3-year-old daughter Leni pooped out first around 8 p.m. and the entire event wrapped up by 8:30. Though dad David Beckham couldn’t be there for the big event, Us Weekly noted that some fans rolled out a “Happy Birthday Brooklyn” banner at the Galaxy’s game in Shanghi. Not a bad way to turn nine.

It’s been a while since Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham have been seen out together spending their husbands’ money on overpriced clothing they’ll wear for a fraction of a day. Star offers a potential explanation for their maybe-rift in the form of “insider information” that’s likely to be completely fabricated, but is too good to pass up. Katie is said to have called tattoos “trashy,” and since Victoria Beckham enjoys decorating her twig-like limbs with permanent ink, she is said to have found that comment particularly insulting:

It’s arctic between Katie Holmes and her fashion mentor, Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham, and a source tells Star that it’s all because of a tattoo! Thrilled with her latest tat [on the inside of her wrist] of the Latin phrase “De Integro” - it means “afresh” - Posh urged BFF Katie to get inked herself. Posh, who got this fifth one to mark her new start in the U.S., “was pretty shocked and upset” when the Mad Money actress called such body art trashy, says the source.

You can see Katie Holmes saying this. She dresses and acts like an old lady, it’s not a stretch to claim she thinks like one too. (Although people of all ages think tattoos are trashy.)

Katie and Victoria famously attended Paris Fashion Week together in October, 2006, and spent time in Paris again in January, 2007. Apart from some get-togethers with their husbands they haven’t spent a lot of time together since. The last we heard of the Cruises and Beckhams together was in early December, 2006 2007 when Tom and Katie took Suri to a Spice Girls concert. Maybe they just aren’t best buddies. Or maybe Katie did insult Victoria - by copping her look and then calling her former good friend’s body art “trashy.”

Three-year-old Cruz Beckham, the youngest son of Victoria and David Beckham, rocked the house at NYC’s Madison Square Garden last night. The toddler joined his mother and older brothers on stage during a Spice Girls concert, and busted a few breakdancing moves for the delighted crowd. During a song paying tribute to mothers, all the Spice Girls brought out their children, and little Cruz was more than happy to upstage his famous mommy and her friends:

They cancelled their tour supposedly to spend more time with their children.

So it was more than a little ironic that The Spice Girls were upstaged by an amazing display of breakdancing moves from little Cruz Beckham.

The youngest Beckham boy, who will be three tomorrow, charmed the notoriously tough crowd at Madison Square Garden with an amazing display of breakdancing, revealing a hidden talent for the crowd pleasing moves.

Even Spice Girl Melanie Brown, mother of Angel Iris and Phoenix Chi, was amazed at his spontaneous performance and she had to stop singing as she laughs out loud in amazement and says “that’s brilliant” as proud mother Victoria looks on smiling.

A lucky concertgoer who saw the three-year-old in action told PerezHilton.com: “All the girls had to stop singing because they were laughing so hard…He did a little head stand, then even spun on his head a little.

“They couldn’t get him off the stage when the song was over. It was the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen!!”

Maybe Cruz has a future in show business like his parents. It sure looks like he loves the spotlight. I also think it’s funny that he never seems intimidated by the paparazzi when he goes out with his parents. He does seem a lot more mature than the average two-year-old– I’ve seen him in pictures before when traveling with Mommy handling his own luggage! He seems like a fun kid. All the Spice Girls’ children are adorable. I can see why they would rather end the whole Spice Girls thing to spend time with them. In the photographs from that show, it’s notable that Cruz’s older brother, Brooklyn, who is now 9, looks bored out of his mind. Oh, well– not everyone is born to be onstage.

Victoria and David Beckham seem to have one of those rare celebrity marriage that appears to be pretty stable. Though the two have weathered a few storms (accusations have occasionally popped up regarding David’s possible cheating on Victoria) all and all they seem to be pretty solid. This could be because they have a lot in common – an intense passion for shopping and acquiring “stuff,” sticking their names on various perfumes, buying houses, and being seen at trendy events. I didn’t say it was a deep relationship. But it seems to work pretty well for them. The Mirror and The Daily Mail are reporting that their relationship is stronger than ever, and the pair secretly renewed their wedding vows.

David and Victoria Beckham have secretly retaken their marriage vows - and got matching tattoos to celebrate the romantic occasion. Only a handful of friends and family were invited to watch them remarry in the grounds of Beckingham Palace. One said: “We were in tears. It was beautiful and very non-showbiz.” The couple marked the big day by tattooing the ceremony date on their wrists in Roman numerals.

Romantic David Beckham arranged his secret second wedding to Victoria without even telling her - springing the surprise on the big day itself. He flew her to their sumptuous Beckingham Palace estate then went on one knee to pop the question for a second time. Stunned Posh gasped: “Yes!” - and the couple were soon retaking their vows attended by sons Brooklyn and Romeo as page boys and watched by a handful of close friends and family.

He organised the ceremony and secretly invited a handful of close friends and family. He even had a beautiful white dress made in Posh’s size. A friend said: “David was meticulously planning the big day for months. It was a huge undertaking to keep it all under wraps. He was desperately excited but had had to keep quiet with everyone but his and Victoria’s closest family.

The Mirror reports that they took a second honeymoon together in Paris, and David took Victoria shopping at her two favorite stores, Azzedine Alaia and Colette. He told her to pick out whatever she wanted as a second-wedding gift. While that’s really sweet, I think what’s more special is all the work and thought David put into it. A guy planning a whole quasi-wedding ceremony on his own? And managing to keep it a secret from his wife? That’s a pretty big deal, and it sounds like Beckham put a lot of care and thought into trying to make it as special as possible.

A lot of people think it’s tacky to renew vows, since a couple already had a wedding and all. Frankly I think that - considering how many marriages end in divorce or fall into a state of unhappiness – there’s much worse things than celebrating your successful union, and loving your spouse so much that you want to do it all over again. It sounds like this was a very thoughtful tribute to their relationship and the life they’ve created together.
