Zoe Kravitz & Penn Badgley are now living together in a huge Williamsburg loft

Zoe Kravitz has been keeping it low-key for a while. Surprised? I am! Around the time that she was dating Michael Fassbender (fall 2010-spring/summer 2011), Zoe seemed eager to embrace the fame and squeeze what she could out of it. And then she started up with Penn Badgley and somewhere along the line she just put her head down and really started working. She’s currently promoting After Earth, that Will Smith & Jaden Smith movie (which looks horrible) and then she’s got Mad Max: Fury Road and Divergent coming out next year. To promote After Earth, Zoe has a nice little feature in V Magazine:

Zoë Kravitz never thought she’d become a major player in the big-budget film world. “I definitely always saw myself as a theater or an indie film actress, because those were the things I was always drawn to,” says the 24-year-old Williamsburg-based musician and rising star who has played roles as diverse as an underage, crack-addicted prostitute, in Neil Jordan’s 2007 thriller The Brave One, and a mutant, in last year’s X Men: First Class. “I just kind of assumed that those were the types of projects that were drawn to me too.”

But Hollywood has embraced her-—the child of two undeniably cool acts, actress Lisa Bonet and musician Lenny Kravitz—and now studio execs are even adapting scripts to better suit the burgeoning star, as in the case of M. Night Shyamalan’s summer sci-fi action flick After Earth.

“The role was originally written for someone much younger than me, so I said I couldn’t do it,” says Kravitz of her character, Senshi, who lives in the future and travels back to Earth from another planet with her father and brother, played by Will Smith and his son, Jaden. “The whole movie takes place after Earth has become uninhabitable,” she says. “It’s pretty awesome.”

The elder and younger Smith rank equally high in Kravitz’s book. “There were moments that I was hanging out with Jaden and thinking, I can’t believe you’re 14, I have to check myself, like what I say to you,” she laughs. “He has so much personality and so much swag, he is so much cooler than I am. And he’s so handsome, I was always like, When you’re older, you know, we’ll hang out…Nope, that’s inappropriate, you’re 14.”

All jokes aside, there’s no mistaking that the fashion industry has courted Kravitz. She has served as muse and stylist to her good friend Alexander Wang, and recently she launched a new jewelry line for Swarovski. By utilizing her favorite colors and materials, found in Morocco, India, and Africa (where she just wrapped a six-month shoot, for George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road), Kravitz wanted to “add some earth” to the brand’s beautiful and elegant crystals, she says. Perhaps big businesses can’t help but be attracted to her cool, easygoing aura after all.

“My mom’s whole thing was that she wanted me to wait until I knew what I really wanted. She’d always say, ‘Once you step into the spotlight, you can’t take it back.’” It seems Kravitz has taken that advice, but with a tiny grain of salt. Next up she’ll take a much deserved vacation in Brazil, with her live-in boyfriend, the actor Penn Badgley, before heading off to film her next big budget movie. “Gotta jump at it when you can,” she says.

[From V Magazine]

Yes, you read that correctly – Zoe and Penn live together. Apparently, they’re renting a loft in Williamsburg and Penn Badgley recently gave New York Magazine a tour of the place, saying: “Look at where I live. I mean, all of my friends live very much the way I do except for the fact that they have no money, you know what I mean? We all hang out, we do the same things, we all live in a similar way, and I happen to have this massive, beautiful apartment.” Which is super-cute considering that Penn also described his relationship with Zoe as “being in love, real, true, earth-shattering love.”

So, is it okay to love Zoe now that she’s not playing with Fassbender’s heart? (Or whatever happened there, I have no idea.) I like her more and more the further she gets away from Fassy. And I really love Zoe and Penn together. I’ll wish her well, but I think After Earth is going to be a box office disaster. I’m sure she won’t be blamed for that though.

Penn Badgley on his Zoe Kravitz romance: ‘Real, true, earth-shattering love’

Here are some photos of Penn Badgley at the Tribeca Film Festival two days ago. I skimmed these pics yesterday to see if Penn’s girlfriend Zoe Kravitz was there, but she was not (boo). Just so you know, I’m not expecting many people to be interested in it, but I love this story. Penn was at Tribeca with Imogen Poots, because they costar in the soon-to-be-released Greetings From Tim Buckley. This is not the long-awaited, long-gestating Jeff Buckley bio-pic (which is currently be called Mystery White Boy), but Penn IS playing the late Jeff Buckley. This film is about Jeff Buckley’s debut as an artist. Unfortunately, Greetings From Tim Buckley will not feature any songs by Jeff Buckley (the film didn’t get permission from his estate).

I’ll admit, I don’t really think much of Penn. I never watched Gossip Girl, so at least I don’t have THAT image of him. The only thing I’ve seen him in was Easy A, where he was surprisingly hot and he has a really nice voice. Once he got with Zoe Kravitz, I’ll admit that I gave him a second look. Zoe rebounded onto to Penn right after (or perhaps overlapping with) Michael Fassbender. At first I thought… “Girl, you go from Fassbender to a Gossip Girl?” But Penn and Zoe kind of work, and she ended up giving him a surprising amount of street-cred. Plus, I like how they’re not shoving their love in our faces. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised when Penn opened up about Zoe in a recent interview with Movieline – you can read the full piece here, and here’s the part about Zoe:

Movieline: The first time you and I talked, you said that falling in love with Zoe Kravitz at the time you were playing Buckley helped you really put yourself out there for the part. How so?

Penn: At that time I was falling madly in love in a way that was changing me and opening me up. And it was an integral part of playing Jeff. Technically, I could probably play guitar and sing better now because I have a year of consistent experience under my belt, but, at the time, I was kind of going through what Jeff was going through emotionally in the movie in the sense that the worlds of music and love and women and art were opening up to me. Honestly I needed it. It was like this cosmic intervention where, if you’re going to play somebody like Jeff you’ve got to at least be in love, you know?

The universe answered you.

Yeah, very much. And being in love, real, true, earth-shattering love – even though it sounds hyperbolic I really was going through it — helped me be as good as I could be.

I suspect this role will lead to more film offers for you. After so many years in television, are you now concentrating on movie roles?

For me, this movie is a beautiful step forward. Gossip Girl has given me everything that I have now. It gave me the opportunity to live in New York and to be in a position to get this role. It also put me in New York City so I could meet Zoe. And it’s put me in a place where I haven’t had to do a bunch of other shit just to make money. I’m super grateful for it, but this movie has come at the right time to take a step forward. I have been working in television for 13 years now, and you know, I’m just done with it. I have nothing against television, but I’m done.

[From Movieline]

Um, how cute is he? This is how dudes should always talk about their girlfriends!!! I’ll admit that I’m crushing on him a little bit – Penn’s not lamenting all of the tail he’s missing or he’s not on some kind of “I won’t talk about that!” power-trip. He talks about how she’s changed him for the better and how much he loves her… sigh. Now I don’t want them to ever split up.

Hey, remember when he was with Blake Lively and it seemed like she was always fooling around? Yeah. This is so much better. I would love it if Penn had a big breakout.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley & Zoe Kravitz are mean girling Riley Keough on set

Riley Keough

This story seems pretty believable because actors and actresses are known to be both competitive and petty, so it naturally follows that a pair of rather untalented actresses (in this case, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Zoe Kravitz) would zero in a competitor (in this case, Riley Keough, daughter of Lisa Marie Presley) who’s been racking up steady work since she arrived on the film scene a few years ago.

I’ve watched Riley in both The Runaways and Magic Mike, and she performed well in her limited roles. As for Rosie, she’s merely the lips of the latest Transformers movie even though she’d have us believe that she’s the next Angelina Jolie. Of course, Rosie also wanted everyone to know that, post Michael Bay Ferrari washing, she had tons of “offers on the table” but was waiting “for the right script,” which turned out to be this ill-fated new Mad Max movie where she and Zoe Kravitz are allegedly mean girling Riley. Now, I’ve only seen Zoe in X-Men: First Class and “Californication,” and she was dreadful in both capacities. I guess I’m feeling sympathetic towards Riley and am inclined to believe that, given the lack of talent on both Rosie and Zoe’s part, they might indeed forge together to make Riley feel like crap. Here’s the story from the Enquirer:

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Elvis Presley’s granddaughter Riley Keough has been reduced to tears on the set of the new Mad Max movie — because her co-stars are treating her like an outcast, say sources.

She’s heartsick over being “frozen out” by actresses Zoe Kravitz and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley while filming Mad Max: Fury Road in Namibia, Africa, charges a pal.

The situation has gotten so nasty that Lisa Marie Presley’s distraught 23-year-old daughter “would walk out” if she wasn’t such a dedicated pro, according to her friend.

“Riely’s havng a rotten time. She’s not fittig in and is incredily lonely and homesick. Zoe and Rosie have only made things worse. Riley took a two-week break from the set, but she was absolutely dreading the thought of going back to Africa to resume filming.”

An insider on the set of the $100 million movie says tension is at a fever-pitch because Zoe, Rosie and Riley are in virtually every scene together.

“They all started out as friends when the movie got underway, but now Zoe and Rosie have become close to the exclusion of Riley,” explained the insider. “She’s got another two months to go, and no one knows how she’s going to make it. She talks about going home every day.”

“It’s sad because Riley’s really such a sweet person,” said her pal. “She’s crying herself to sleep most nights. It’s really a shame.”

[From Enquirer, print edition, October 22, 2012]

I tend to believe this story. Zoe is quickly developing a habit of collecting a new BFF on each film set (it was Jennifer Lawrence while filming First Class), and she sort of seems like the type to engage in high school-esque dramatics where exclusivity of friendship is concerned. As for Rosie, her place in films is pretty limited to “the hot chick,” so she probably feels insecure enough to go along with mean girl behavior too.

Whatever the case, I really hope that Zoe hasn’t made any remarks regarding Riley’s presence in Hollywood being possibly due to nepotism because, you know, Hahaha.

Zoe Kravitz in black Emilio Pucci at ‘TDKR’ premiere: super-sexy or busted?

I know most of you don’t care about this couple, but they fascinate me! Penn Badgley and Zoe Kravitz have been together for more than a year by my count. The rumors about them started last summer, when Michael Fassbender (then Zoe’s sort-of boyfriend) was in England filming Prometheus. It began to look like Fassy and Zoe were on a break and Zoe started being seen all over NYC with Penn. Then Zoe and Fassy briefly reunited in Toronto in September, and then they seemed totally over – Zoe and Penn have been loved up ever since. Last year, I thought Zoe was massively downgrading… but I wasn’t too upset about it, because I didn’t really like Zoe and Fassy together. Now Fassy is with Nicole Beharie and Zoe is with Penn and I think this is the way it should be.

I’m including photos of Zoe and Penn doing The Dark Knight Rises carpet separately, but I’m also including a photo of the couple over the weekend in the East Village – they are definitely still together, they’re just not walking red carpets together. As for Zoe and her style… it’s improved so much since she was with Fassbender. I’m still loving her choppy little haircut, it suits her so much. Her premiere dress was “a black silk and mesh cocktail sheath from Emilio Pucci’s Fall 2012 collection.” Although I think this dress would probably look better on someone taller, with a longer torso, I don’t hate it on Zoe. I think she looks super-sexy.

As for Penn… well, he finally shaved off that weird beard/muttonchop facial hair and he’s back to looking really young. They’re both very young! Zoe is 23 years old, Penn is 25. If I could change anything about Penn, it would be his chest-fur flashing – he just looks douchey! Still, I wonder if Zoe isn’t styling him, you know?

Zoe Kravitz shows off her new choppy haircut at a Chanel event: lovely & adorable?

I don’t have any hard and fast rules for ladies chopping off all of their hair. For some women, short, choppy haircuts are a great, sophisticated look, and with a new haircut, you suddenly see the women in a completely new (and better) way. But on some women, short haircuts are a total disaster. Really short hair tends to make me nervous, regardless of whether or not I think the cut suits the lady. Why nervous? Because I have sympathy pains for how difficult and awkward it will be for a woman to grow it out. Even in the age of weaves, lace-fronts, extensions and wigs, most women do tend to just stick it out the old-fashioned way and just grow out their real hair. And it gets awkward. Like, remember how everyone was crazy about Emma Watson’s little pixie cut? And then she grew it out just a tad and suddenly she looked like Justin Bieber? That’s what makes me nervous.

Anyway, these are some new photos of Zoe Kravitz and her mom at last night’s Chanel event, “The Little Black Jacket”. Zoe was showing off her new haircut. Thoughts? Anything and everything is an improvement over her (honest to God) itty-bitty bangs trauma. I think she’s been growing out her bangs over the past several months, and she decided to chop everything off and let it all grow out together. I have to admit… I think this suits her lovely face. It’s cute and rock and roll, and it’s also going to be a bitch to grow out.

Zoe’s boyfriend Penn Badgley was also at the event. I don’t get what he’s doing with his facial hair lately.

More photos from the event – Crystal Renn finally dyeing her eyebrows back to a normal color, Linda Evangelista looking like a Botox-monster with Karl Lagerfeld, and Lily Collins still not realizing that she should be wearing dark, rich colors.

Zoe Kravtiz & Penn Badgley were loved up at Coachella: adorable or try-hard?

As you know, there were a lot of young, hip, cool couples at Coachella last weekend and this weekend. But is any couple cooler than Penn Badgley and Zoe Kravitz? Well, maybe. But I still love them. These are new photos of Penn and Zoe at Coachella this weekend. I have to give it to Zoe – those shorts are hideous and dated, but she’s one of the first celebrity girls I’ve seen who actually looks incredibly comfortable. Did Zoe and Penn actually go to Coachella for the music? Probably. Also: doesn’t Zoe look worlds better now that she’s grown out her bangs? So much prettier.

After spending several months in a state of shock, I’ve grown to love Penn and Zoe together. Whatever happened between Zoe and Michael Fassbender – whoever dumped who, I still don’t know – I have to give it to Zoe. She found a boyfriend closer in age, someone who really shares her interests. Penn has turned into quite the little hipster, and his career beyond Gossip Girl seems to be flourishing a bit too – he’ll be playing Jeff Buckley in Greetings From Tim Buckley, and being with Zoe simply ups his credibility, doesn’t it? Like, Zoe wouldn’t be with someone who wasn’t cool. Penn is cooler because he’s with her.

PS… Still loving Penn’s afro too. His hair simply doesn’t do well in any kind of humidity.

Coco Austin in stretchy blue at Cirque Du Soleil’s opening night: almost demure?

Coco Ice-T

Here are some photos from last night’s opening night of Cirque Du Soleil’s “Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour” at Madison Square Garden. They got a pretty good turnout, I think. Have I ever mentioned that Cirque Du Soleil stuff freaks me out? I’m not judging people who enjoy those shows at all, I’m just saying that I can’t watch them because I get so nervous for the acrobats. I worry that they’ll fall and it will be AWFUL. Anyway, instead of leading with some A-list celebrity, let’s start with my mother’s favorite couple ever (I’m not joking), Coco and Ice-T. Coco covered up her curves in a stretchy blue dress which seems shockingly demure (on her). Seriously, though, I like Coco and Ice-T too. They’re an adorable couple. Coco is looking a little bit Botoxy here, but it could be the lighting.

Zoe Kravitz was there, without her lover Penn Badgley. I wonder what’s up with them? I haven’t seen or read anything about them in a few months. Look at how beautiful Zoe looks now that she’s growing out the bangs – her face looks so much better without the bangsy trauma.

And here’s Naomi Campbell, looking kind of strung out. What’s wrong with her? The outfit is awesome, though. And the wig is busted.

Jennifer Lawrence looks hot on the cover of Rolling Stone: one of her best looks ever?

Jennifer Lawrence covers the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, and I’m a little bit mesmerized by the cover shoot. Look at how gorgeous (and pleasantly hot) she looks in relatively ordinary people-type clothes! Maybe this phenomenon can easily explain why she looked so comfortable (and amazingly hot) in that red Calvin Klein Oscars dress, which was very simple, as opposed to the vast majority of looks she’s donned to promote The Hunger Games. There’s also an interview of course, but the excerpts released so far are mostly what other people say about what she’s said to them. I guess you could call it hearsay but of a more charming variety than expected:

Woody Harrelson on JLaw: Lawrence, 21, has a way of making a first impression. Woody Harrelson, her Hunger Games co-star, still remembers their first meeting. “I was on my bus, and on my bus I have a yoga swing. Jennifer comes on, and she goes, ‘Hi, Woody, I’m J– is that a sex swing?’ Her first sentence to me.”

Josh Hutcherson on JLaw: “When I got cast, she called me up for one of those five-minute ‘Excited to work with you, blah, blah, blah’ things. The conversation started with her saying, ‘Think about a catheter going in – ouch!’ and then turns into a 45-minute rant about zombies and the apocalypse.”

Zoe Kravitz on JLaw: “I’d met her a few times, and she was like, ‘You should come over and we’ll hang out.’ So I go over to her apartment, and she opens the door in a towel. She’s like, ‘Come in, sorry, you’re early, I was about to shower.’ And she drops her towel and gets in the shower, and starts shaving her legs, totally naked. She was like, ‘Are we here yet? Is this OK?’ And I was like, ‘I guess we’re there!’”

[From Rolling Stone]

You know, I wouldn’t put it past Woody to have a sex swing, and I used to find him hot after his bare-bootied scene in The Cowboy Way, but it’s hard to think of him that way after seeing his insane crackage in 2012. It didn’t seem to bother JLaw in the slightest though, but I’m not sure what to think about her dropping the towel in front of Zoe. They’re BFFs now too, so I guess JLaw isn’t that modest about nudity in front of other girls. No big deal.

Jennifer also did a recent cover interview for Parade as well, and this particular cover image bugs me. It’s too polished and robot-like to be either JLaw or Katniss, but the interview is fairly enlightening. She talks about the Kardashians as a precursor to reality shows being the bane of society’s existence:

On Katniss: “I love Katniss. She doesn’t have a lot, but she’s happy, and she faces death out of love for her family. She doesn’t want to be a hero, but she becomes the symbol for a revolution, a kind of futuristic Joan of Arc. I’ve never played a part this famous. It’s insane to get recognized from a movie that hasn’t been released yet. That’s just bizarre. And scary.”

On reality television vs. Hunger Games: “I was watching the Kardashian girl getting divorced, and that’s a tragedy for anyone. But they’re using it for entertainment, and we’re watching it. The books hold up a terrible kind of mirror: This is what our society could be like if we became desensitized to trauma and to each other’s pain.”

On opening day: “I’m always nervous. I always think this is going to be the end of my career. I’m going to have to go back to school and nobody’s ever going to want to see me again.”

[Frm Parade]

I like how JLaw doesn’t mention the first name of “the Kardashian girl” like she can’t even be bothered to know what the fake-assed chick’s name is. She probably didn’t mean to sound bitchy about it, but I can still enjoy the effect. JLaw seems like a fairly intelligent, low-key type of celebrity, and just for fun, here’s a photo of her Santa Monica condo, which is worth a relatively modest $600,000. Sure, it’s worth more than most of us would spend on a house, but money doesn’t go as far in California as it does in middle America.

Lenny Kravitz, shirtless, says ‘Hunger Games’ could happen in real life

I’ll be completely honest — when I learned that Lenny Kravitz had accepted the role of Cinna (the highly effective and unabashedly flamboyant stylist) in The Hunger Games, I was overjoyed that the movie had gained a much needed dose of sex appeal. When Kravitz appeared in the film’s trailer, my hopes were boosted to overflowing capacity. Obviously, I’m very excited about the movie in general, but I’m particularly intrigued by the casting of both Kravitz and Woody Harrelson as Haymitch, and I hope it proves to be a very good show.

In the interest of promotion, Lenny sat down to chat with Interview magazine to discuss The Hunger Games. He’s amazingly perceptive about the subject matter, and it’s apparent that the man has done his homework in grand style. It’s a pretty lengthy piece, and I’ve left out the parts where Lenny discusses his mixed heritage (half African-American and half Russian Jew) because his words are mostly a reiteration of things he’s said before. However, here are some excerpts about his upcoming role as Cinna as well as some talk about his favorite place, Paris. Oh, and he takes his shirt off for the photoshoot! You’re welcome.

How he scored the Hunger Games role: “Gary [Ross] saw Precious and said that he liked the character of Nurse John, so he thought I’d be right for the role in Hunger Games since Cinna is somebody who is looking out for somebody and is a support figure, too. So he called me [and], “Hi, I’m making this movie called The Hunger Games. I think you’d be great. If you want it, you’ve got the part.” No audition. I was really flattered, but I had not read the book. So I downloaded it. I remember I started it late one night and I needed to go to bed–I was tired and had been recording all day and night–but I couldn’t stop reading because I was captured by the story. So I finished the book and called him back and said, “I’d love to do it.” You know, the film definitely represents these times–from government on down to reality television. It’s interesting that we’re living in these times. Really, when you go back to being in junior high school and reading George Orwell’s 1984, you’re, like, “Man, here were are . . .” Our characters have changed, our sensibilities. We’re definitely morphing into something different.”

On Hunger Games vs. reality “You know what’s funny? A lot of reality television started in Europe–things like Big Brother, where you had random people living in a house together and all this stuff started happening. And then you had all the gladiator stuff and the competitions. I remember saying, “One day we’re going to watch people fight to the death, like Roman times. Instead of being in a coliseum, we’re going to watch it on TV .” It sounds like a really far-fetched and politically incorrect statement at this point, but who knows how twisted we’re going to get? Because our appetite grows, our thirst for excitement . . . So who knows in the next 50 years where we’re gonna go? Hopefully we’ll go somewhere smarter and more beautiful and more peaceful, but that’s not where we’re headed at the moment. Things that would shock us years ago are like nothing now.”

Does he prefer America or Paris? “[laughs] I have to say Paris, bro. I fell in love with Paris the first time I went. It was 1989, and I had just signed with Virgin Records. They were quite honest with me, which is why I signed with them. They said, “Look, we don’t know if this music is going to sell. We don’t know how to market it.” Because, obviously, I didn’t fit in a box, and a lot of people expected me to be doing what most African-American musicians were doing at the time . . . Anyway, they didn’t know what to do with me. So what’d they do? They sent me to Europe. I went to France, England, Germany, Holland . . . That’s where the whole thing started for me. The gig that really broke me was this festival called [Rencontres] Trans Musicales, which is in Rennes, France. That gig changed my life, and I started spending a lot of time over there, which is sort of how I ended up falling in love with Paris.”

On Europe vs. America: Well, since I’ve been on the scene–for 23 years–I think kids in Europe have developed a deeper knowledge of music and of black music in particular. You go to Europe, and these kids know about all this obscure funk and soul that kids over here wouldn’t know. I think it’s getting better in the States, though, with the age of the Internet. I mean, my daughter, Zoe and her crew–those kids know everything. But that has taken time to happen over here. It’s definitely been more of a European thing. Or, if you go to Japan, they’re still buying vinyl, and they want the education. They know who’s playing on what tracks from the ’60s and the ’70s–who the guitar player is, who the drummer is, who the producer was, what studio it was recorded in. That’s how you and I grew up listening to music. We bought albums. We read the liner notes. It was important to know the whole history behind it.”

On daughter Zoe’s career: “It’s beautiful. She was in the latest X-Men movie last summer. She also did this really beautiful independent film, Yelling to the Sky, which went to the festivals. She’s in this band called Elevator Fight, and they’re making some really cool music. I went to a gig of hers in Brooklyn not that long ago. She just watched everything as a child. She was around a lot of great, creative people, being with me and her mother [Kravitz's ex-wife, actress Lisa Bonet]. She just finished making her album. It’s just wonderful to see her doing her thing.”

[From Interview]

See how he discusses the difference between European and American culture in a very specific manner (that is, in relation to musical tastes) and doesn’t come off sounding like a total douche? Gwyneth Paltrow could take a lesson or two from Lenny. Speaking of Goop, I still can’t believe that Lenny hangs with her and even allows her to call him “Leonard.” I have to admit dying a little bit inside about that revelation, but I’m willing to forgive Lenny for that. Only because of his otherwise awesome personality and sparkling good looks.

Is Penn Badgley fooling around on Zoe Kravitz? Did they break up?

I just got a discount on the Starz package with DirectTV, and over the weekend, I ended up watching Easy A. Twice. I love that movie, and I had forgotten Penn Badgley was in it. Penn has a smaller part, but he’s super-cute in it, and I find myself liking him more and more. Sure, he’s kind of bland. But he’s got a nice voice, and he’s not a terrible actor. And being with Zoe Kravitz definitely increases his credibility for whatever reason.

So, the last we heard, Zoe and Penn’s relationship was moving very fast, and they pretty much live together these days. So it’s weird that we’re already hearing some mutterings about breakups and/or infidelities, right?

Are things over already for Penn Badgley and rock royalty Zoë Kravitz? After vacationing together in Miami during the holidays, the “Gossip Girl” actor was seen dancing at Southside in SoHo on Saturday night without Kravitz but with friends including some “very pretty girls,” a source said. Another spy spotted Badgley leaving the club with a brunette at about 3:30 a.m. Kravitz and Badgley started dating in the summer. Their reps didn’t get back to us last night.

[From Page Six]

Oooooh. At first I was like, “Meh, a boy with female friends, how scandalous!” But then they claim that Penn LEFT THE CLUB with a girl? I wonder if it’s something sketchy. Whatever it is, Zoe doesn’t seem to mind – Zoe and Penn were photographed together on Saturday, in photos that were just recently released – you can see them here. They even kissed for the paparazzi. It feels like a set-up, and that makes me wonder about Zoe. Is she a Blake Lively-level “girlfriend”. As in, does she set up candid photo shoots with her boyfriends, and is she mainly defined by the men she dates?
