Jennifer Aniston is playing the field and loving it, if this week’s Star Magazine is to be believed. Most of this story seems to be based on some brief friendly encounters she had with various single men at recent parties, but that still counts to some. Aniston was seen flirting with singer Josh Groban and actor Josh Hopkins from friend Courtney Cox’s sitcom, Cougar Town, at separate events. Star also claims that Aniston is quietly dating actor Sam Rockwell, with whom she’s been linked in the past. I tend to believe the Sam Rockwell story before the other two, as Aniston is a friendly person and tabloids are quick to link people together when they’re talking for more than two minutes. Still, this is Star so the whole thing could be made up.

“Jen’s mood has changed so much lately – for the best,” an insider tells Star. “She’s gushing about all the guys she’s dating and about how much fun she’s having!”

At the release party for her yoga instructor Mandy Ingber’s DVD Yogalosophy… on Dec. 3, Jen cozied up to Josh Groban.

“Jen was glowing when she hugged Josh,” a source reports. “They chatted for more than 20 minutes, and she smiled the whole time, ignoring everyone else. You could tell she likes him.” While Josh is 12 years younger than 40-year-old Jen, he’s “mature beyond his years,” the source adds. “Jen and Josh have been speaking on the phone and e-mailing. He’s smitten, and she loves the attention!”

But Josh is just one of Jennifer’s Mr. Right Nows. On Dec. 6, BFF Courtney Cox brought another Josh, her Cougar Town costar Josh Hopkins, 39, to Jen’s annual holiday party at her Beverly Hills pad – and the pair hit it off!…

“Josh arrived kind of late, and when Jen saw him, she grabbed his hand and gave him a tour of her house. She was playing hostess to the max. The next day, the insider adds, Jen told Courtney that she liked Josh and wants to see him again.

I think Jen is just happy to be hanging out with her friends, throwing parties and having a good time. She’s rich, single and loving it. If something happens for her, so be it, but I don’t think she’s really looking hard for a committed relationship at this point.

Benji was last linked to Katy Perry, but after photos of them partying at Chateau Marmont hit the web, Perry was quick to say that the two are just friends. He has been keeping a pretty low profile romantically since his split with Paris Hilton – maybe the intense paparazzi during their relationship scared him for good. I doubt the media frenzy would be anywhere near that level if he is dating Holly Madison. Which begs a bigger question: now that she is no longer on that wretched “reality” show, can we stop calling her a celebrity? Please? Can we just start referring to her as a former Playboy model or something?

I heard or read this rumor a few days ago, and I didn’t write anything about it because at this point, it seems like people are just picking names out of a hat and putting them beside Jessica Simpson. But things have changed… and now it looks like Jessica may actually be dating Billy Corgan, lead singer and lead guitarist for The Smashing Pumpkins. Billy is 42 years old, an indie rock god, divorced, and he used to date and live with Courtney Love. Before and after Kurt Cobain! Good Lord, I didn’t know that. What the hell do Jessica and Billy have to say to each other, for God’s sake? Jesus. This is so bizarre. Anyway, here’s the first report on their hooking up or whatever, from OK! Magazine:

With that kind of bitchiness, I’m thinking the “source” is Ken Paves? No, no – he loves Jessica, really he does. It sounds more like Ashlee.

I’ve been hearing rumors about this alleged hookup for about a month now, but never anything solid. Allegedly, John Mayer is only having affairs with Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston in the tabloids – in reality, he might be quietly dating Rashida Jones. Rashida, daughter of Quincy Jones and ex-girlfriend of John Krasinski, actually seems like a half-decent match for Mayer, in my opinion. She’s a television actress, she’s cute, she’s family with the music industry, and she seems to have a thing for goofy white boys. I mean that in a good way, seriously. I also think Rashida is less likely to use any romantic relationship to get press or a career boost, which must be a new thing for Mayer. Anyway, Page Six is reporting that Rashida is “staying mum” on her relationship for now. Good for her:

These are photos of Rihanna leaving a club in London a few nights ago, and they’re getting a lot of play in the British media. That’s because some a-hole photographer crouched down to take up skirt photos of Rihanna as she was getting into the back of a car – and instead of getting a shot of her cooch, they got photos of her cellulite. I’ve put those photos at the bottom of the post.

Anyway, cellulite or no cellulite, Rihanna might have a new actor boyfriend. The guy’s name is Tristan Wilds and he used to be on HBO’s The Wire (photo here). The dating rumors seem to originate from Tristan coming to a party and being affectionate with Rihanna. I know it’s impossible to judge a book by it’s cover, but this guy looks nice. He looks respectful. Let’s hope that if she is dating him, he’s a nice guy.

The usually stunning songstress was caught in an unflattering pose on Monday night after partying at Mahiki, a nightclub in London. As she climbed into a limo, photographers caught a glimpse of her too-short skirt — and a bit of cellulite.

But the “Good Girl Gone Bad” has at least one male admirer who doesn’t seem to mind her imperfections: Spies tell us that the singer is dating actor Tristan Wilds. The “90210″ star was an unexpected guest at a party RiRi held over the weekend at her L.A. home, where she was saying goodbye to pals before taking off for a set of London gigs.

“No one knew why Tristan was there initially, because it was not an industry party — it was very intimate,” says a fellow guest. “But everyone quickly realized they weren’t meeting for the first time, because they were openly affectionate for everyone to see.”

Our source adds that 21-year-old Rihanna and the 20-year-old actor, who has also starred in “The Wire” and Jay-Z’s “Roc Boys” music video, were introduced by a music producer who has worked with both of them — Wilds is currently working on an album of his own.

They hit it off the moment they laid eyes on each other, the insider says. “He’s a real gentleman,” says the source. “She likes him a lot, and it shows. From the moment he walked into her party, Rihanna lit up.”

So what now? Although RiRi will be traveling to promote her album “Rated R,” which drops on Monday, our source thinks the fling will last.

“They’ll keep in touch while she’s away,” the snitch insists. “They’re already planning to use iChat and Skype to stay in contact until Tristan finishes shooting ’90210′ for the season and can fly out to meet her on the road.”

While that may be the case, Rihanna may want to ask her new beau why he’s palling around with her ex, Chris Brown — on Twitter, at least. On Sunday, Brown tweeted that he was “so tired.” Shortly thereafter, Wilds took to his page to give the singer some words of encouragement. “Keep grinding, kid. All we can do,” he wrote.

Let’s hope Rihanna straightens out that issue ASAP — along with her wardrobe.

The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that Chris Brown still gets a ton of attention from the ladies – women approach him and “with most of them, without fail, figuring out some way to slip Chris their numbers… many dropping off notes, their e-mail addresses and phone numbers, and some including some pretty explicit photos” a source tells the Sun-Times. The source also says that there are three women “stalking” Chris currently, one of whom is even too “crazy and obsessive” that she’s freaking out his entourage. Who are these morons?

If you noticed that every tween is sweating profusely and sparkling in their pants today, it’s because Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were captured sort-of holding hands last night as they walked on a tarmac, about to board a plan leaving Paris. We don’t have access to the photo, but you can see it here. What’s cute is that they’re not really holding hands. Kristen seems to be holding Sparkles’ wrist in a very sweet, girlish way that makes me love them both. Their costar Peter Facinelli even tweeted about the photo, writing “Guess this picture proves everything”. Yeah, as if we ever doubted that Sparkles and Kristen weren’t nailing each other to every hotel wall from Los Angeles to Paris. Ah… I just can’t quit the Sparkles, as much as I try.

It seems like you can’t be in the most romantic city in the world and not feel a little love, right Rob and Kristen? After promoting New Moon in Paris, the Twilight star couple headed to the airport and to a private jet together and it looks like they’re almost holding hands. Well, we can’t blame either one of them!

RPattz and KStew have spent the last few weeks coyly denying their relationship, or at least avoiding the question of are they/aren’t they? However, the two look quite happy as the depart the City of Lights together.

The film franchise’s star trio — Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner — posed on a balcony with New Moon’s director, Chris Weitz, for cameras at the Crillon Hotel in Paris, France earlier on Tuesday, where they are doing promotional work for the long-awaited sequel.

At the press conference for New Moon on November 6 in Los Angeles Rob told a story of his most romantic moment. “I put a flower on someone’s locker when I was 15-years-old,” Pattinson said. “This girl called Maria.”

Despite the floral declaration of affection, Pattinson was out- maneuvered by a rival suitor. “She thought it was someone else. And the other guy, he claimed the flower,” the actor admitted. “Yeah, it was great.”

Kristen is well aware that people care about her relationship with Rob, but isn’t so keen to talk about it. “I probably would’ve answered [the romance question] if people hadn’t made such a big deal about it,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “But I’m not going to give the fiending an answer.”

There’s not much more to say. I think even these photos, from the Paris New Moon photo call, show how much they care for each other. The looks they’re giving each other are so sweet in some of these pictures, and usually it’s Sparkles looking at Kristen, honestly. Rosie O’Donnell admitted that she and her wife/partner Kelli Carpenter were having relationship trouble last week in an interview to USA Today. Since that interview, gossip has been going around that Rosie and Kelli are pretty much done, but it seemed like Rosie wouldn’t be confirming the split either way. That is, until Rosie went on the Howard Stern Show yesterday. Sidenote: who knew that Howard and Rosie were friendly enough for her to appear on his show? I didn’t.

Anyhoodle, Rosie came close to confirming that she and Kelli are done, but that they are still committed to co-parenting. One of the more interesting revelations was about Rosie and her friendship with Angelina Jolie. Rosie says that before Angelina got together with Billy Bob Thornton, she and Angelina “talked on the phone two or three times, but that was that. There was a tentative plan to have dinner that never came through. I was a little afraid of her. She’s scary in a sexual kind of way.” Rosie also admitted that she has “dream about her a lot still.” I always knew that Rosie and Angelina were friendly, but I had no idea that they were this friendly. Well… Angelina could have done worse. And she did, on occasion.

In an interview last week, Rosie O’Donnell promised she wasn’t going to talk about her assumed split with longtime lover Kelli Carpenter. But that was before she sat down with old pal Howard Stern on Monday, when the former daytime Queen went as far to say the couple was kaput without actually saying it.

O’Donnell told Stern she and Carpenter had “different styles of living” and have “come to a point where we are seeing [if] what will make everyone happiest is maybe to not live together, but continue to parent.”

The couple married in San Francisco in 2004 and have three adopted children (Parker, 14, Chelsea, 12, and Blake, 9) as well 6-year-old Vivienne, whom Carpenter carried.

When Stern pressed for more info behind her relationship woes, O’Donnell offered up a dish of TMI: “Kelli and I have a lot of issues and sex wasn’t one of them.”

O’Donnell told Stern she isn’t thinking about dating anyone. “I’m not a trier,” she admitted.

In an interview with USA Today a week ago, the former ‘The View’ moderator said she and Carpenter are “working on our issues” and that “those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever.”

The National Enquirer reported in August that Carpenter had moved out their home and into Manhattan.

Since it was becoming clear she wasn’t going to fully open up on her woes, Stern steered his convo with O’Donnell to the star’s love life before Carpenter. O’Donnell admitted she had a phone fling with Angelina Jolie, before she hit the big time.

“We talked on the phone two or three times, but that was that. There was a tentative plan to have dinner that never came through,” she said.

“I was a little afraid of her. She’s scary in a sexual kind of way.”

Rosie said: “When they did that road trip, that’s as gay as it gets.” While I think that’s slightly funny, I disagree. I kind of believe Oprah when she says that if she and Gayle were gay, she would tell us. At this point, if Oprah was gay and she told all of those Oprah-worshipping soccer moms to be gay, they totally would.

Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner seem to really be dating! It’s not just some p.r. shenanigans. At least, it doesn’t seem to be. Swift, the 19-year-old country-pop star and Lautner, the 17-year-old Twilight hottie, were rumored to be an item shortly after they met this summer on the set of the film Valentine’s Day. Last night the Taylors attended a hockey game between the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Los Angeles Kings at the Staples Center. They sat together and everything! A friend of Swift’s told OK! Magazine, “She loves how unaffected he is. She says he’s the best kisser ever!” Yeah… I miss being 19 years old and thinking every guy was the “best kisser ever!” Sigh. Anyway, the NYDN has some sources who saw the two kids entering a hotel… and then leaving the next morning. Gasp!

Things appear to be heating up between the two Taylors.

Taylor Swift and “Twilight hunk” Taylor Lautner were spotted at a Beverly Hills hotel last night where photographers reported they spent the night together, according to X17online.com. Earlier in the night, the new couple attended a hockey game at L.A.’s Staples Center.

“These two weren’t going to any great length to hide the fact that there were spending the night together,” photographers said. “They could have been a lot sneakier if they wanted to, and we spotted them leaving early this morning.”

Rumors that Taylor-squared are a couple have been swirling since Lautner was a surprise guest at Swift’s Fearless tour in Chicago earlier this month.

After the country singer performed her hit “Fifteen,” a video posted to YouTube shows Swift giving Lautner an extended embrace.

Swift, 19, and Lautner, 17, began their close relationship soon after filming a make-out scene for next year’s romantic comedy, “Valentine’s Day.”

Lautner recently told Access Hollywood that he was “crushing” on Swift, and Swift told Z-100 that she was “on Team Tay.”

That was the sound of a million crack pipes being sparked in celebration. According to OK! Magazine, Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil (aka Blake Incarcerated or Blake Paroled) have reunited, and are now “married” according to their Facebook statuses. Amy and Blake formally divorced earlier this year after lots and lots of chaos, drugs, alcohol, and very few baths. Over the past few weeks, there were some rumors here and there that Amy and Blake had reconnected… and now it looks like they’re really back together. For real. Some will say their love is based on mutual addiction. Some will say it’s true love. I say that Blake just wanted to see Amy’s new boobs.

Less than two months after their divorce was finalised, the couple – who are both recovering from drug addictions – have changed their Facebook profiles to read “married”.

Minutes after updating his relationship status, Blake posted a message on the social networking website reading: “Can’t argue with true love. What’s the point?”

The post prompted dozens of the couple’s friends to write messages of congratulations on the social networking site.

The reunion is likely to infuriate the singer’s father Mitch, who blames Blake for his daughter’s problems with drugs and alcohol.

A family friend said: “Amy’s family, especially Mitch, will be furious. They have been so happy with her progress and are terrified that if she gets back together with Blake she will fall back into drugs again.”

Blake, 27, divorced Amy, 25, in July on the grounds of her infidelity.

Since then, they have been communicating via the internet, using Facebook to reminisce about their relationship and profess their love for each other.

I always love that part of the divorce proceedings – that Blake divorced Amy because she cheated on him. How weird is it that infidelity is what ended their marriage? Not the drugs, not the liquor, not the whole “living in a crack den and not bathing” thing. It was that Amy slept with some other people. So. Sketchy.

Over the weekend, Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard set tongues wagging with their appearance at the Scream Awards. According to sources, they were “very affectionate” and “holding hands as Alexander played with Kate’s hair while they chatted with friends in the green room.” Kate even “playfully slapped him on his butt a few times.” Is it getting hot in here? Anyhoodle, that got many of us thinking… is Kate Bosworth worthy of Alexander Skarsgard? Are they even hooking up for real? Is it love?

According to the tabloids, it was a real hookup. Star reports that after the awards show, “they hopped into a car together, escaping from prying eyes at the Chateau Marmont.” Just so you know, Chateau Marmont equals crazy sex/orgy/drugs/fun. In Touch also reported that Kate has been trying to get into Alexander’s pants for a while, as they worked on Straw Dogs the past few months. In Touch’s sources claim: “They’re definitely dating… Kate was absolutely trying to make sure everyone knew that she was with him. They were very touchy-feely with one another. He was holding her hand, and they were giggly and getting close.”

While I thought Kate seemed like a nice enough person, I didn’t really know enough about her to make an informed opinion. Since the Alexander incident, though, I’ve been reading some sketchy stuff about her. Lainey, for one, thinks Kate has some issues:

If you’re an Alex Skarsgard fan, this is not something you should be happy about. Because Kate Bosworth…well… she has some issues. In addition to the non-existent relationship with food, there are also those loud rumours alleging the use of appetite suppressants. In powder form, of course.

There is nothing solid to suggest they are dating, but she is willing it. Hard. It’s her method.

My sources tell me as of 3 weeks ago, Skarsgard was still with Evan Rachel Wood. What their status is right this minute is unknown. But Kate has supposedly been working it relentlessly on set, tearfully pretending to lean on him for support every time she gets into an argument with that nefarious model James Rousseau with whom she’s had an on/off romance the last 3 years. Kate pulled the same sh-t with Jim Sturgess during production for 21. His serious girlfriend didn’t seem to deter her. Jim however, sweetie, was unresponsive to her wiles.
