We’ve heard some occasional rumors about Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane’s lovelife. MacFarlane, 38, previously dated a chick named Alexis Knapp, who had Ryan Phillippe’s baby well after she’d split with Phillippe. Supposedly MacFarlane dated Knapp, just 22 at that time, while she was pregnant. I think Knapp leaked that story after MacFarlane broke up with her and she realized she wasn’t going to get any acknowledgment from him at all. Some of you commented on that story that he’s a well known player, which kind of surprises me. Then this summer we heard that he was casually dating Cameron Diaz, who reportedly wanted things to be more serious than MacFarlane was willing to commit to.

Now MacFarlane is dating Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen. She’s a talented young British actress of indeterminate age (wiki has her as 24 or 25). These two were seen out at an Emmys party (photos are at this link) and they left together to go to his house. I think I speak for a lot of women when I say he’s not worth it, run away!

It appears Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has found love with Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane.

The couple are pictured here on the eve of the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday at the Four Seasons Hotel, where they shared dinner with friends.

According to onlookers, the pair then headed back to Seth’s home.

On Sunday night, 38-year-old MacFarlane escorted Clarke, 25, to the Emmy Awards, where they posed together in an intimate Instagram snap.

They were also seen holding hands and having dinner together at HBO’s Emmys after-party.

A source told People.com: ‘Throughout the party, MacFarlane frequently draped his arm across Clarke‘s shoulder or wrapped it around her waist – and she didn’t seem to mind.’

They then left together shortly after midnight, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

British actress Clarke plays Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO medieval-fantasy series.

Connecticut-born MacFarlane, meanwhile, is best known as the creator of hit American TV show Family Guy, for which he also voices the main characters Peter Griffin, Brian Griffin, and Stewie Griffin.

I saw Clarke in one of the “making of” Game of Thrones specials, and I was impressed by how smart and well spoken she came across. Maybe it’s the British accent, but she didn’t seem like she was naive or anything. You don’t have to be stupid to be a douche magnet, and a lot of very smart women have a propensity for dating jerks who treat them like crap. Maybe I’m wrong and Seth is the boyfriend type, but I don’t get that impression from what I’ve heard.

Oh and I should talk about Emilia’s bad mullet Emmy dress, which is Chanel! Go Fug Yourself mentioned that the white fabric was picking up dirt. At least her styling is decent. Doesn’t she look so much different and more striking as a brunette?

Say what you will about Rumer Willis, 23, she usually manages to snag some pretty hot boyfriends. She was with a gorgeous actor named Micah Alberti for two years up until 2010, and after that she was said to have hooked up with Glee’s Chord Overstreet, Glee’s Mark Salling and even Zac Efron. Well Rumer was spotted out yesterday with an actor named Jayson Blair (not the plagiarist), and they were holding hands and everything so it’s official. I guess Blair is an up-and-coming TV actor, he had a bit part on “The Closer” (which makes me feel bad for not leaving this story for Kaiser to cover – sorry I didn’t know!) and he’s in an upcoming show on NBC called “The New Normal,” which just pisses me off because it’s NBC and if it’s good they won’t promote it, and if it’s bad it will stay on forever.

The rumors are true: Rumer Willis has a new boyfriend!

The actress and aspiring singer, 23, is dating actor Jayson Blair, a source confirms to Us Weekly. The two were spotted holding hands while strolling through Hollywood August 13. “He’s definitely cute,” the source says.

Blair, 28, plays Clay Clemmens in the original NBC comedy series The New Normal, which tells the story of a woman (Georgia King) who becomes a surrogate mother so a gay couple (Justin Bartha and Andrew Rannells) can start a family. Created by Glee’s Ryan Murphy, the sitcom also stars Ellen Barkin, NeNe Leakes and Bebe Wood. The New Normal premieres September 11 at 9:30 p.m. EST.

The eldest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Rumer is no stranger to acting herself: she made her feature film debut in 1995′s Now and Then, and as an adult, she appeared on The CW’s 90210 and ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Blair’s previous TV credits include MTV’s The Hard Times of RJ Berger, CBS’ 2 Broke Girls and TNT’s Rizzoli & Isles.

Willis will celebrate her 24th birthday August 16. “Can’t wait to spend time with my family,” she recently tweeted.

They look really cute together, and the way he’s looking at her is sweet! Look Rumer is wearing a nice dress that isn’t too 90s hipster and is actually covering her ass. This is a real improvement for her.

The next day she stepped out in this, though, which is similar to what she’s been wearing for years basically, so small steps with Rumer. At least her butt cheeks weren’t hanging out. Also, I really dislike her fake extensions.

Rumer looks like she lost weight recently, but she’s not scary skinny like her mom. That makes me wonder – what is going on with their relationship? I hope that she and her sisters are finally talking to Demi again, and that they took their dad’s advice. Maybe that’s what she meant with that tweet about spending time with her family. I hope these Willis girls realize what a charmed life they lead.

It started as at least two blind items that were too good to be true – the real life Scully and Mulder were both single and had fallen in love after fighting a mutual attraction for nearly two decades. Then Celebrity Dirty Laundry claimed to have a source confirming that Gillian Anderson, who just announced a split from her longtime partner, had shacked up in L.A. with David Duchovny and her two kids. (David’s kids, one of whom is actually named Kyd, are presumably with their mom, Téa Leoni.) Tea and David are still officially married, having announced a separation in 2008, then they reconciled, then they separated again last summer.

We sometimes get tips e-mailed to us from sources, and unless we can verify who they’re from we don’t run them. So we didn’t run it when we were e-mailed a tip in May that Gillian and her partner, Mark Griffiths, had been broken up for a year at that point. The source never mentioned it, but that year would have roughly coincided with the time that David and Tea announced they were off-again. *Elbow nudge*

A source exclusively told CDL that David and Gillian have been in a serious relationship for some time now and she and her children are shacking up with the Californication actor. This is a long time coming for the pair whose chemistry on their hit show was always a source of tabloid conjecture. Gillian and David worked together from 1993 to 2002 and starred in the movie version in 2008. Although it seems every fan in the world wanted to get the two together, a relationship was never declared during filming.

CDL also points us to an interview with the London Sunday Times magazine (it’s only available to subscribers or I would link it) in which Anderson was cagey when the subject of her lovelife came up. That doesn’t reveal much and her response could be explained by the fact that she had already broken up with her partner at that point.

In response to these really awesome rumors, David Duchovny’s rep told Wonderwall that “the romance rumors aren’t true, but adds that the once (and hopefully future) co-stars are still good friends.” Friends with benefits, right?

I dressed up as Scully for Halloween once. I made a badge I modeled off versions of hers on the Internet and I wore a suit jacket. I had like the same haircolor and cut as her and everything, so it wasn’t hard. So yes, I was a big X-Files fan and I’m personally invested in this story. I know these people are totally different IRL than the characters they played, and I know Duchovny has a sketchy past with his stint in rehab for sex addiction and all. I still really hope this is true and that they found solace in each other’s arms after their other relationships broke off naturally and with no overlap or cheating on their part. I also hope no one conspires to keep them apart like in the last couple seasons of X-Files. That show really faltered without Duchovny.

Right after the photos came out of Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis sucking face at an industry party, Ashton’s ex Demi Moore played a little press game of her own, and leaked a story that she was dating an actor from New Zealand named Martin Henderson. Life & Style had details of a romantic weekend getaway the two allegedly shared, along with some suspiciously clear close-up photos of them together, looking happy. Given that Demi regularly hides her face and scowls when the paparazzi come around, you can bet that the whole thing was carefully staged. The story read like all the others we’ve heard from Demi’s PR team: she’s sexy, she’s carefree, she’s banging a hot young actor. It looked like Henderson was in on it too, as he could surely use the publicity.

Well cue the denials. A “source” told E! that the two are just friends who were traveling with a group of people, and weren’t on a date or a weekend trip together.

If Demi Moore wanted to match Ashton Kutcher rumor for rumor, well…mission accomplished.

While a photo of her ex looking snuggly with Mila Kunis made the rounds, the seemingly happy-and-healthy-again actress was on a trip to New Preston, Conn., where she spent an awful lot of time with hunky New Zealander Martin Henderson.

The 37-year-old actor, best known as Naomi Watts’ ill-fated ex in The Ring and for the ABC series Off the Map, was spotted hiking and dining with Moore, 49, prompting a fair amount of gushing about their romantic potential and a report that they’re secretly dating.

Sources tell E! News, however, that Moore and Henderson are just friends—and the romantic hike they reportedly took was a group outing with about a dozen other people.

They met through a mutual acquaintance who arranged last week’s quick jaunt to Connecticut.

So what happened? Was Henderson dating Demi casually and did he get peeved to see the story in the gossip press? Was he just a guy hanging out with a group of people that included Demi, and does he resent being linked with her? Remember how Joe Manganiello denied that he was dating Demi, but didn’t deign to mention her name? Henderson is playing this better, and seems to be speaking off the record. Or maybe Demi decided she wanted to squeeze more mileage out of the story and decided to play the “just friends” card, although I doubt it. Demi’s got a one-note press strategy and she wants Ashton to think she’s moved on. If she had, she wouldn’t be planting stories in Life & Style.

Oh Demi. The celebrity press has been dominated with news about Demi’s daughters cutting her out of their lives because she’s been annoying them with needy incessant messages. We’ve heard that Demi is in deep despair and “heartbroken” over her estranged husband Ashton Kutcher’s new romance with Mila Kunis, and that Demi was holding out hope for a reunion. We’ve seen multiple paparazzi photos of Ashton and Mila together, including some recent ones in which they were making out. So what does Demi do? She goes and gets herself a new piece, an out-of-work actor who no doubt needs the publicity, and makes sure there are photos of the two of them together along with a narrative about their breezy, romantic getaway. Life & Style has obtained exclusive photos of the couple on a romantic Connecticut getaway. On July 19, Demi and Martin went to lunch at Nine Main Bakery and Deli in New Preston, Conn. “She was in line and a Colbie Caillat song came on — she started singing along and dancing in a playful, flirty way,” shares a fellow diner. After lunch, the two went grocery shopping together, then drove back to the house where they stayed on their vacation.

“They were very comfortable with each other,” notes a fellow diner.

Three days earlier, they’d enjoyed a lobster dinner at a friend’s house, followed by a two-hour hike at Steep Rock Preserve the next morning. Later that night, Demi and Martin, 37, joined pals for a casual outdoor barbecue. “They just kept chatting and laughing,” reports a guest.

Kaiser remembers this guy from The Ring, and I barely do now that she’s reminded me. That movie was so creepy that I tried not to pay attention and fast forwarded through a lot of it. I don’t think this relationship is real. I mean, I would like it if Demi moved on and wasn’t the sad sack popping ADHD drugs that she’s been made out to be following her overdose. To me that means focusing on herself and feeling better, not finding a new guy and burying her sorrows in a new relationship. I’ve been rooting for Demi, but it seems so predictable the way she’s rolling out some new guy in the press. Demi’s tired PR narrative has her as sexy, desirable, and so carefree she’s jamming out to music spontaneously. We’ve heard this before, but the reality is not as rosy.

Note that Demi didn’t score the cover of Life & Style, even when the mag got exclusive photos and details straight from her PR people. That honor went to Kourtney Kardashian’s ongoing relationship drama. Does she think that this is going to make Ashton so jealous he dumps Mila and comes crawling back to her? I do think that’s her plan. Demi needs a few hobbies.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has a long history of dating her coworkers. She also has a long history of getting involved fast, falling hard, and the publicly pressuring her boyfriend into giving her a ring. So I’m reading this latest story about how she just spent a week in Tahiti with a co-star with some skepticism. If it really happened, then she just put aside her business commitments, her friends, and her busy life for a whole week in order to foot the bill on a romantic vacation with a guy she’s probably been dating less than a month. (I mean this is the first I’m hearing of him and she usually tells the press almost immediately after she dates someone.) The Enquirer frames this like she was “testing” her new man to see if the romance was there, and they mention that they’ve been dating since April. Pressure!

Jennifer Love Hewitt wanted to give her “Client List” co-star a romantic “test drive,” so she took him on a secret getaway to the South Pacific.

The actress has stepped up her relationship with 33 year-old Brian Hallisay. In mid-May, she treated him to a week-long tropical retreat at the secluded Yasawa Island Resort & Spa in Fiji.

“Jennifer is nuts about Brian, but she wanted to 100 percent sure so she took him on the vacation,” a close source told The Enquirer.

“She said this was going to be the test. If they could get along for a week with no distractions, then she’d be ready to go public with their romance.”

The love match, first disclosed by The Enquirer in April, soared to new heights during the island retreat – and 33 year-old Jennifer is thrilled, say sources.

Hewitt sort-of denied the earlier story that she was dating Hallisay. She tweeted that she was single, which isn’t exactly saying that she’s not dating him. I checked J.Love’s Twitter and she did go silent for a week in the middle of May, tweeting on May 14th: “Need to zen out tweet free for a week… Gonna work on book two! Xo.” Then she tweeted on May 22 “Hello lovelys!! Im back! Needed a week to just be with a group of friends, write, sleep and rest! Missed ya! Xoxo.” At least she’s not tweeting vacation photos and direct messages to her new guy. She’s sort of playing it close to her chest, so that’s something.

On one hand a week long vacation with a new person is romantic. It shows that you’re fun, spontaneous and ready to be there for your new partner. On the other, what does that say to a guy you just started dating when you drop absolutely everything to spend an entire week with him? Does it give the message he’s more important to you than your friends and whatever you have going on back home?

I don’t have a problem with Hewitt footing the bill, considering that she’s a wealthy woman. I hope this works out for her and that she’s happy and found “the one.” It would just be nice to read a story about her acting elusive for once.

Update: as many of you are pointing out, Hewitt was rumored to be dating another co-star, Collin Egglesfield, late last month. That probably fizzled out before she hooked up with this other guy.

This news may have come out a little while ago, but I barely paid attention to it at the time. Apparently Sean Penn and model Petra Nemcova have rekindled their romance. Since his split with Robin Wright (and perhaps before) Sean Penn has been drawing in gorgeous women like flies. He’s been with Scarlett Johannson of course, and was also rumored to be dating Garcelle Beauvais, Charlize Theron, and a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model named Jessica White. Back in 2008 he dated Petra Nemcova, and she seems to be giving him another chance. The way US explains it, Petra jumped back into it with Sean almost immediately after she broke up with her fiance last month. Here’s more:

Rebound being the operative word here. I’ve heard plenty of stories of people being heartbroken by breakups, contacting an earlier ex and rekindling romances.

Penn generally seems like a grumpy, chain-smoking old man and it’s hard to imagine what women see in him. He regularly talks smack about his career, his critics, anyone else involved in charity like he is and about politics, and he just strikes me as unpleasant. I guess there are women who find that somehow attractive. They may find his intelligence impressive or something. The rest of us see him as an a-hole.

You know how Jennifer Love Hewitt has been desperately looking for a mate lately? I don’t use those words lightly, there’s almost no other way to describe it. She called out Adam Levine by name on the Ellen show and admitted she wanted to date him, saying “We would be cute.” She also sat in the front row on “Dancing With The Stars,” openly flirted with professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and admitted to the host of the show that she was there for “Maks,” purring his name in a deep-throated sexy voice that left no doubt as to her intentions. The “Client List” star is on the prowl, and she may have snared a guy finally. US Weekly is reporting that she’s hooked up with Colin Egglesfield, that creepy-looking guy with the big forehead who cheated on Kate Hudson’s character in what has to be the worst romcom I’ve seen in years, Something Borrowed. (And I like cheesy romcoms.) I also remember Egglesfield from the short-lived Melrose Place remake, which was also pretty bad. A source tells Hot Stuff [US Weekly] that… Jennifer Love Hewitt, 33, has fallen for her Client List romantic interest Colin Egglesfield, 39. “They’ve been hooking up,” says a source. Hewitt – who dated her Ghost Whisperer costar Jamie Kennedy – was flirty with never-married Egglesfield at the Lifetime show’s April 4 premiere party. It’s almost the end of April, so why is US reporting on a flirtation that happened at the beginning of the month before to the Maksim incident? (It looks like the shout out to Adam Levine may have been taped just prior to this party.) I would bet that Hewitt is US’ source.

This isn’t the first guy from “The Client List” that Hewitt has hooked up with. She has a history of dating both co-stars and guests on her shows, so if this one doesn’t work out I’m sure another one of the dudes she gives simulated handjobs to will be game, at least temporarily. I hope I’m wrong and that she finally finds some kind of lasting love. It could happen for her, but the guy better be ready to put a ring on her finger and deal with her drama almost immediately after the first date. You just get the sense that she’s that kind of girl.

This story might not get a lot of interest, but I have to say it made me squee a little. (Ok, a lot! Update: This was before I learned all the details, please see below.) I used to watch “Once Upon a Time” until it got too farfetched for me. (I mean the whole premise is farfetched, but I enjoyed it up until about the end of January, when I lost interest.)

My favorite plotline was the dual one between kickass Snow White/single teacher Ginnifer Goodwin and Prince Charming/married amnesia victim Josh Dallas. It sounds ridiculous just written out like that, but on the show it played out like a fated love story that had you yearning for their happily ever after. They’re both solid actors I have to say. Dallas and Goodwin have real chemistry together, and it looks as if that might translate to an offscreen romance! The two were just photographed out on what really looked like a romantic dinner date on Tuesday in LA. (You can see all the photos here, and it really looks like Josh is looking out for Ginnifer.)

This isn’t their first outing together. The Daily Mail reports that they made their public debut as a couple at the launch party for Paul McCartney’s My Valentine video on April 13th. Those photos are the ones here. But – that’s not entirely accurate as I’ll cover in a moment! They’ve likely been together for over a year. First, here’s a quick segment of the Daily Mail’s report, which claims they’ve been dating since the fall. This is the first I remember hearing about it.

It was recently revealed that the pair have been dating since the autumn.

And last night, the fairytale heroes enjoyed a romantic meal at the reckoned Madeo in West Hollywood.

Ginnifer,33, certainly looked like the cat that had got the cream (leaving the side of poisoned apple) to have bagged her Prince Charming.

30-year-old Dallas looked similarly content to be squiring his feisty princess, who was all in rockin’ black.

The couple made their public debut at the launch party for the video of Paul McCartney’s My Valentine on April 13th.

The Once Upon a Time co-stars fell under each others spell since working together.

Ginnifer announced a split with her then-fiance last May, so you might assume that there was plenty of time in between her breakup and when she hooked up with her costar. While I was looking for photos for this story I found pictures of Ginnifer and Josh at Disneyland together (those are below) on May 22, which photo agency WENN points out was “a day after the announcement of her split from fiance Joey Kern.” So was she cheating on her fiance? At least they weren’t married, and we don’t know the timeline. Maybe she just felt an irresistible pull to Josh and made sure to end things with her fiance before acting on it. I find this whole story very romantic, actually. I’m was clapping my hands together over it earlier. These two make a lot of sense to me.

Update: Thanks to lila for commenting that Josh recently split with his wife of four years, British actress Lara Pulver. I guess she was on True Blood, but I don’t remember her at all. Here’s a photo of them together in June, 2010. Josh confirmed their separation in an interview in December of last year. So it looks like there was overlap in his marriage before he hooked up with Ginnifer. That’s not good and I’m not as gung-ho about them now.

This story is in Mike Walker’s column in the National Enquirer. For Demi Moore’s sake, I hope this isn’t true. Given what we know about how she regularly tweets bikini photos of herself, along with the fact that we’ve heard for months that she’s still hopelessly hung up on Ashton, this isn’t much of a stretch. You can easily imagine her taking some well-lit, well-angled photos of herself and sending them to Ashton in a moment of weakness to show him “what he’s missing.” It’s sad and desperate, but she was with the guy for 9 years and she’s not ready to move on. It happens.

Walker adds a twist to this story, which kind of makes me think it’s too good to be true. Supposedly Ashton’s latest hookup, Rihanna, (who issued a half-assed denial recently that convinced no one) found the nude photos of Demi on Ashton’s phone and chewed him out for it. Have we even heard that Rihanna was on the Two and a Half Men set before this point? You would think that TMZ or Radar would have picked up on that.

My exclusive… The buzz leaking from [the] “Two and a Half Men” dressing room says RiRi freaked and fled in fury after she “stumbled across” sexy, near-naked pics Demi had texted to Ashton – “After their breakup!” Said my backstage source: “Rihanna exploded, telling Ashton in no uncertain terms that she does not want to get involved if there’s the slightest chance of anyone getting abused – physically or emotionally.” Wow! So Demi’s still relying on nude-ish pics to keep Kutcher on the leash? Don’t think so, girl!

I don’t know, it sounds too far fetched to me, but it could be true. Also in the “far fetched” department is a story in this week’s Star that claims that Chris Brown told Ashton to stay away from Rihanna, only he told Diddy to tell Ashton to step off on his behalf. What grade are they in? “My friend told me you were dating his ex girlfriend, and he doesn’t like it. He’s going to send you some angry tweets if you don’t stop seeing her.” I shouldn’t joke, we all know that Chris Brown is capable of more than just angry tweets, although he’s probably too chicken to hit another dude. Here’s the Star story, for what it’s worth:

Chris Brown… “sent a message to Ashton,” says a source close to Rihanna, who had been quietly seeing Chris while dating [Ashton]. “He warned Ashton via their mutual friend, Diddy, to keep his distance from her. At first, Ashton took it as a joke – but Diddy told him that Chris was dead serious and really worked up about the idea that Rihanna has moved on.”

Ashton, 34, was already unhappy that his relationship with Rihanna has been revealed. In the wake of his messy split from wife Demi Moore last fall, “It’s the last thing he needs. And now Rihanna thinks that Ashton could cut off all contact with her because of Chris’ interference, which she thinks is absolutely what he wants,” says the source…

Rihanna was so angry after learning of his challenge to Ashton, she called her jealous ex and told him to back off, said the source. “This fling with Ashton is a way for her to forget about wanting Chris back.”

At first I didn’t buy Ashton and Rihanna as even a casual hookup couple, but I’m slowly being convinced. They may be over at this point, as OK! Magazine recently reported. Maybe this crap with Chris threatening Ashton (through Diddy, I can’t even) is what ended it. Rihanna seems kind of unhinged lately and I could see her getting with Ashton. I could also see him bolting at the first sign of trouble. If they did have some kind of hookup relationship, I doubt Rihanna took it seriously anyway. She’s all about being “hardcore” lately.
