I used to have a lot of love for Jennifer Love Hewitt. She just seemed like a goofy, sweet person who would tell you about her issues with men. Then it became clear that she wouldn’t spare any details. She went on to write a book about relationships, and she would make sure we knew about every guy she was dating, to the point where it was surely detrimental to her relationships. Now she’s tweeting a lot and seems somewhat up her own butt, but she’s still nice enough and comes across as genuine. One of the things that Hewitt is tweeting about is this recent rumor that she’s back with her ex-fiance, comic Jamie Kennedy, who was three or four boyfriends ago by my count. She’s vague about it, and just denies that it’s true. But come on, why would E! be reporting this unless she put the rumor out there somehow? It’s not like she’s followed by paps she doesn’t call. Here’s the story, thanks to E!:

But is the 32-year-old actress pairing her new hair with an old flame?

It sure looks that way!

A source tells E! News exclusively that Hewitt has rekindled her romance with actor Jamie Kennedy. The Ghost Whisperer costars enjoyed a year-long romance that ended with a high-profile split in March 2010.

Late last year, Hewitt split with actor Jarod Einsohn. Fortunately for the star, her old beau was conveniently unattached as well.

“They are dating again,” the source tells us, adding that the reunited couple has been enjoying sleepovers at Kennedy’s L.A. condo.

Hewitt’s Twitter feed certainly has been lovey-dovey the past month. She’s retweeted Love Quotes and Megan Fox’s parody Twitter account’s uplifting messages about romance and choosing to “look beyond the imperfections” in order to be happy.

Hewitt’s rep had no comment.

Do you think they’re rebound friends with benefits? That’s the impression I’m getting from this story and her tweets, like this one “the rumors are not true, the day was good,and sweet dreams will be awesome!” These two did part on good terms a couple of years ago, and it seemed to be about the fact that Hewitt wanted to get married and Kennedy wasn’t ready to commit. (I remembered that they were engaged, but that was just a rumor.) I don’t think it will last. At least she’s being somewhat realistic about it, even if she’s putting it out there. She needs to get publicity for something I guess.

Also, here’s her new hair, which you can’t really see in this photo. It’s got blonde streaks in it. (Another photo is here.) I like her better as a brunette. In the header image her hair looks just like Kim Kardashian’s new ‘do, down to the color. So maybe it was a good idea to switch it up anyway.

A few days ago, I saw some photos of Jennifer Love Hewitt looking rough and eating ice cream (photos at the end of the post). My first thought was, “Bitch, where’s your bandage dress now?” My second thought was, “Girl, do you have your period? I’ll let you borrow some Midol, hon.” It didn’t even occur to me that Jennifer Love was drowning her sorrows in her favorite drug of choice, Pinkberry. But she was! According to In Touch Weekly, J.Love just got dumped. AGAIN. This time by that very young-looking boy-toy, Jarod Einsohn. Jarod and Jennifer lasted about three months together. And Jarod dumped her via text message. OH GIRL NO.

Jennifer Love Hewitt might just be the most unlucky-in-love Hollywood starlet! Her latest boyfriend, 27-year-old actor Jarod Einsohn, has broken up with her — via text message, a source tells In Touch exclusively.

Despite having a dating-advice book, The Day I Shot Cupid, the 32-year-old actress has had a string of boyfriends that all seem to dead end in a breakup. In the past year alone, Jen Love has dated or been linked with Alex Beh, The Bachelorette’s Ben Flajnik and Jarod, and all those relationships abruptly ended.

A source claims to In Touch, “She cannot keep a boyfriend. She is very overbearing, and if things don’t go her way, she becomes a diva and flips out.”

Jarod and Jennifer had been dating since August.

Poor J. Love. I mean, she’s insane and she’s basically repelling men at this point, but I still want her to do well. Remember when she used to date famous guys? And nowadays, she’s just dating dudes that are trying to be actors but barely have an IMDB page. You’d think her casting couch would be a little bit more efficient, but I guess even out-of-work actors run screaming from the “gig” of “dating Jennifer Love Hewitt” when she starts talking about all of the rings she has pre-selected at Tiffany’s.

I understand Kaiser’s dislike for booties with skirts now that I see them on J.Love in this rather unflattering outfit. I have a pair of cute black booties, I have worn them with tights and a skirt, but sometimes they just look awkward. (I have this pair in black but I got them at Ruelala and they were a lot cheaper. Now I’m surfing for shoes, one of my favorite past times. Some of you read gossip at work, I look at shoes as an escape from the gossip.)

Anyway Hewitt worked the sidewalk like a catwalk while wearing a loose striped vest/shirt, black short shorts and tights with booties yesterday. We’ve seen time and again that the girl can’t dress, which kind of explains her affinity for Leger bandage dresses. Hewitt uses formula dressing on the red carpet, and even though I’m over those Leger dresses I think she works them well. She grabs a little designer purse (and she does like small purses, which make no sense to me as a mom) puts on a bandage dress and some heels and she’s ready to go.

So here’s she’s trying to mix it up with a larger bag and a put together everyday outfit that isn’t too dressy or too casual. She looks cute, but something’s off about this outfit as a whole. Also, look at how she’s walking all sexy, holding that script up like a prop and keeping her mouth open a little. It’s funny! She needs some attention, and I think she should try to get on Dancing With The Stars. I think she would be great on that show.

The last we heard of J.Love she was premiering her new much-younger looking boyfriend at an event last week. The guy was 27 and she’s 32, so the difference in their ages isn’t that big of a deal. It’s been a whole week so here she is strutting her stuff for the paps.

Oh and I almost forgot that J.Love and her boyfriend were Brad and Angelina for Halloween! We don’t have access to photos of their costumes (they’re at this link), but she got Angelina’s emerald dress just right and they even toted around a bunch of baby dolls. It was actually really funny. J.Love tweeted “I just wanna say that our brangelina costume from last night was purely paying homage to my one of my fav couples and there glamour. I think they are awesome and I love how big and sweet there family is. It was meant with no disrespect and all love!;)”

“There glamour” and how “sweet there family is.” The woman is 32 and a native English speaker and she doesn’t know the difference between there and their. It’s not a texting issue either because both words have the same number of letters. I bet she screws up they’re too, which is why she wrote out “they are.” Oh my.

Here she is in another costume as a cheerleader with her boyfriend dressed up as beer. I thought this might be a Laverne and Shirley thing, but I doubt it.

Back in August, Jennifer Love Hewitt was getting pap’d on a daily basis, for no other reason than… she was bored? She wanted attention? My theory is that when Jennifer doesn’t have a boyfriend, she’s more in-your-face than usual, and she’s just the kind of girl who always needs to have a boyfriend or a project to focus on, or she goes a little bit crazy. Anyway, it was around this time that J.Love got pap’d with a very young-looking guy who CB thought was Jennifer’s brother. And then a few weeks later, Love and this dude were spotted holding hands, and it was confirmed that he was her latest project.

Anyway, that was all nearly two months ago. And J. Love has been keeping a much lower profile since then, probably enjoying her new young boyfriend. His name is Jarod Einsohn, and I still have no idea how old he is. Wait, The Mail says he’s 27. Hm. Love is 32, so that age difference is nothing, but he just LOOKS super-young. Anyway, J.Love and Jarod decided to make their big, splashy red-carpet debut last night at the Like Crazy premiere in LA. Love wore, as always, a Herve Leger bandage dress. I find the dress very unflattering on her figure – it makes her boobs look really low and deflated, right? She needs to stop with the bandage dresses.

Seriously, though – good for J. Love. She’s got a new project and she’s probably very happy with Jarod. Let’s see how he reacts to being told that she has already selected three engagement rings for him to choose from.

Here’s Jennifer Love Hewitt out last night in West Hollywood wearing a jaunty fedora, jeans and a white t-shirt. She’s also holding hands with a happy looking drag queen who bears a resemblance to Joy Behar. Hewitt got papped by multiple photographers (several agencies have these photos) after hosting a drag bingo tournament at a place called Hamburger Marys.

First, this is one of the more clever paparazzi outings that Hewitt has made. This is a great way to get people to talk about her without dressing up to go shopping, parading around some lover or other at a critically early stage in their relationship (unless she’s going home with Joy Behar here, which isn’t out of the realm of possibility) or looking like a hot mess. Second, she looks really good. She’s pulled together, for her, her hair and makeup are casual cute, and she looks happy but sober. I’m not a fan of the semi crop top or the too long jeans, but it’s not bad. I’ll say something else that’s nice about her, I just realized that we’ve never seen candids of her out looking wasted. That’s probably because all her paparazzi outings are orchestrated, but still.

The last we saw of Hewitt she was rocking a Herve Leger bandage dress at fashion week and looking incredibly good. I agree with Kaiser that those dresses suck and need to be retired at some point, but Hewitt looked great.

I checked Hewitt’s Twitter to see what she’s up to lately. She polled her nearly 30,000 followers on love, asking “If there is like and love. What is that feeling right before love called?...” Then she retweeted a bunch of responses about feeling goofy, giddy and sick to your stomach basically. She might have found another guy to fall for, or maybe she’s talking about that young actor dude who looks more like a little brother than a love interest. She claimed she was using it for another book, though “Thanks for all the responses. Just wrote a rough draft of a cool chapter for book two. And you guys helped!” So J.Love is writing yet another relationship book. It figures. Kirstie Alley has a diet program, so I guess J.Love can write relationship books.

Here are some new photos of Jennifer Love Hewitt in New York, for Fashion Week. She’s wearing yet another Herve Leger dress – bitch loves Leger dresses, but only when she’s lost a little weight. I think her body looks really good (although she’s reached an age where the weight doesn’t come off of The Pear so easily). I’m really jealous of the J.Love’s seeming ease with losing weight. I think she must have one of those bodies/faces where you can just see it when she puts on five pounds, but on the other side, she takes it off really quickly. Despite my compliments to her newly-found waist, I do wish that these Leger bandage dresses could all be thrown into a pit of fire.

J.Love was photographed at the Project Runway finale runway show, which means… is she the finale judge? If she is, that’s TERRIBLE. I’m so glad I’m not watching PR anymore if the best they can do is J.Love for the finale judge. Wait… ah, The Fug Girls say that L’Wren Scott is the finale judge. I guess J. Love was just there because…?

Can we talk about Jennifer’s bangs? God, I hate them so much. She doesn’t need them, her face looks so much better without them. Plus, she didn’t even get the trendy little bangs trauma (like Penelope Cruz’s bangs wiglet). J.Love got the big, chunky, shaggy-dog/eye-trauma bangs. They just look awful on her.

Pear-Ass wins again! Over the past few weeks, Jennifer Love Hewitt has been pap’ing herself endlessly in varying degrees of inappropriate clothing. I suggested that our Love might need to find herself a new hobby or project, like a new boyfriend. Love is more contained, more confident, less “in your face” when she has a boyfriend. Well, guess what? She found one! Huzzah! J. Love was photographed over the weekend with this young dude, Jarod Einsohn. You can see the photos here, at the Mail.

Now, we’ve actually seen J. Love with Jarod before – he’s (allegedly) the boy in the photos in this post, and CB wrote about these pics a few weeks ago too. At the time, CB thought this kid might be J. Love’s brother, but Jarod and Love were kind of handsy when they went out this weekend, so I think they’re a couple. Both of them are on Twitter (here and here), but neither has said any kind of confirmation. Here’s a better photo of Jarod, from 2008:

He looks like a teenager in that pic, right? So how old is he? I have no idea. He doesn’t have a Wikepedia page, but he does have an IMDB page (here), where you can see how he’s not really an in-demand actor or anything, and the appropriate biographical information isn‘t even filled out. My real guess for his age is… about 24 or 25. J. Love is 32. It’s not that bad, I guess. The kid just LOOKS really young.

So… congrats to J. Love for getting herself a boyfriend. Not quite a cougar, not quite jailbait, but it’s not like this kid has a lot going on, so maybe he’ll last a little while.

These are photos of Jennifer Love Hewitt at this weekend’s Angel Awards in LA. The awards are for supporters of Project Angel Food. The dress is Monique Lhuillier Resort 2009 – which is interesting that J.Love isn’t wearing a new dress from some new collection. She probably recycled this look from a previous red carpet, or maybe she never got around to wearing it in 2009. In any case, I actually like the dress. She looks pretty in white, and I like the simplicity of the cut, and I even like the gold detailing, which isn’t overdone.

So what do I dislike? Her hair. Granted, I was never going to like bangs on J.Love, and yes, this version of bangs is less offensive than the other, flat-ironed style she was working last week. But this wavy, mom-bangs style looks dated, and it ages her. She has a young-looking face – why is she trying to look ten years older?

In case you were still wondering, J.Love is still single. She told Ryan Seacrest last week, “I have nothing to say except I’m totally single.” This is what happens when she’s single – she goes out to any red carpet that will have her, and she calls the paps for “candid” photo shoots every damn day. I’m not saying that J.Love or ANY woman needs a boyfriend just to have a boyfriend. I am saying that if you want to avoid the daily photos of J.Love, she needs a man.

Jennifer Love Hewitt needs to take a step back, erase the paparazzi numbers from her contact list, and stop tweeting for a little while. When it comes to overexposure she’s headed toward Kardashian territory, but maybe that’s what she’s aiming for. There’s a kind of currency in splashing your name and picture all over everything, and she could be hoping to parlay that into side opportunities like a perfume and/or clothing line. It truly doesn’t matter how poorly a celebrity dresses, (and J.Love often takes the cake) as long as they’re well known enough to market the crap a third world worker pastes their name on.

In the latest news about J.Love, she told Ryan Seacrest that it’s not true that she flew out to meet Bachelorette runner-up Ben Flajnik right after tweeting him. She claims that it was all a coincidence that she first tweeted Ben and then was seen out with him at a bar where they met totally by chance. Mmmhmm.

During the show’s August 1 finale, Hewitt, 32, tweeted that she needed to “book a flight to Sonoma,” which is where Flajnik lives and works. The actress explained her cyber-flirting to Seacrest, saying: “I was looking for something pop culture to tweet about… Things got blown out of proportion… I have nothing to say except I’m totally single!”

Seacrest’s cohost, Ellen K., asked the Can’t Hardly Wait Star: “Did you make out with [Ben]?”

Hewitt laughingly answered that “Rumors are rumors… We did meet, but totally by coincidence.”

An eyewitness told Us Weekly, however, that Flajnik initially stopped by Lion’s Pub in San Francisco with Giants player Cody Ross, but he made a beeline for Hewitt after spotting her across the room. “It seemed like a first date, but he wasn’t overly affectionate,” the source added.

Hewitt told Seacrest the duo just happened to be at the same place at the same time.

If the actress is interested, she better make her move. An insider told Us that Flajnik “is the favorite with the women trying out for [The Bachelor] and the crew” and might be back on reality TV soon.

So Hewitt tweeted Ben on August 2nd and then just “happened” to run into him at a bar on August 6th. I’m not buying it, and this kind of makes me wonder what else she could have been fibbing about. Back in 2008, Hewitt claimed that an US Weekly cover story about her weight loss was a total surprise to her and that US went to her personal trainer and did the cover without her involvement. I believed her at the time, but now I’m not so sure. It’s always possible that she was telling the truth in that instance while trying to save face with this bogus story though. (Or maybe both stories are true, who knows.)

I still sort-of like her though. She doesn’t seem that manipulative to me and she’s seeking validation in a very transparent way. Plus she seems nice and that goes far with me, no matter what games she’s playing or how obvious she is.

You don’t have to even begin to yell at me. I know I’m a C-U-Next-Tuesday, and I know I’m much too uptight about fashion rules and what is appropriate and inappropriate to wear to certain events. I’ve already gone off on what is and is not appropriate style for court appearances – and those same rules apply to appearing before any sort of legislative body, whether it’s Congress or a city council. Today, you’re going to hear “Kaiser’s Style Don’ts For Dining Out.”

So these are photos of Jennifer Love Hewitt “picking up her family to go to dinner” according to the photo agencies. By the way, all of the agencies got these photos, which just emphasizes that J. Love really needs a job. She has too much time on her hands, and when that happens, she paps herself every damn day. Regarding the fashion: is this how you would go out to eat… with your family? I understand that they’re probably going somewhere casual (at least, I hope so), but you’re seriously going to wear shoelace-less Chucks (or Chuck-ish shoes), leggings, an oversized tank and an exposed blue bra while you’re dining with your family?!!? But realistically, this look is not for her family dinner. J. Love called the paps so they could photograph in a new hideous ensemble after she had called them the day before, when she was wearing the hideous see-through dress.

And yes, I hate her bangs. I actually think J. Love has a pretty face, but the bangs do nothing for her. They just make her look like a 40-something soccer mom who is trying to be a 20-something hipster. J. Love tweeted, “People who are not in favor of the new haircut kinda hurt my tweelings!:(”. Too cutesy, J.Love. Much too cutesy. You’re 32. Time to wear clothes that don’t expose your bra. Time to wear clothes that fit. But that just kind of underlines it, right? J. Love’s whole deal lately just feels so desperate. I hate to say this, but she needs a new boyfriend. She’s not so crazy when she has a boyfriend.
