Jonah Hill’s posse now includes Leo DiCaprio, Mel Gibson & Bradley Cooper?

I never really understood the Jonah Hill backlash last year. He was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar (for Moneyball), and no one really thought he had a shot at it, but I really liked that he got nominated and that he started rolling with the big boys – there were always lots of photos of Jonah hanging out with Brad Pitt and George Clooney last year. Then Jonah got cast in a Martin Scorsese film with Leonardo DiCaprio (The Wolf of Wall Street), and Jonah began running with Leo’s crowd. And now he’s one of Leo’s boys. Jonah has been inducted into the P-ssy Posse. And I’m starting to worry! Page Six claims that Leo and Jonah were down in Miami and they were hanging out with Mel Gibson and Gerard Butler. NO JONAH NO.

Jonah Hill and Gerard Butler made it rain, literally, at Miami club Story on Friday. The pair — along with Leonardo DiCaprio, Mel Gibson and Bradley Cooper — rolled in with three guards, spies said, and then grabbed a 4-foot water gun in the DJ booth to “take turns shooting water over the dance floor” as Erick Morillo spun.

The gang of five stars has been spotted together hitting venues in Miami, including Villa Azur, co-owned by Halle Berry’s fiancé, Olivier Martinez. On Saturday, Berry and Martinez even joined Hill and Butler’s dude posse, and they all hit LIV at Fontainebleau, where a spy says Berry tried to convince Martinez to join her on the dance floor, and finally gave up.

[From Page Six]

It’s weird that Bradley Cooper was there too, right? It takes the whole “bromance” to another level. In my mind, Jonah Hill is the Joe Pesci to Leo’s Bob DeNiro, but Bradley Cooper just seems like the guy who tries too hard to fit in with the dudes. Do you think Leo’s crowd rolls their eyes at Bradley’s try-hard? Or do you think Bradley is probably cooler than I’m giving him credit for? As for the Mel Gibson and Gerard Butler inclusion… dear God. I feel like Jonah needs an intervention. Come back to us Jonah!!

Leonardo DiCaprio tried to get with Rosie Huntington- Whiteley, of course

Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio covers the February issue of August magazine, which is a men’s style rag that I’ve never heard of. The cover isn’t the most flattering shot of Leo, but you can see the rest of the shoot, which is slightly better, at Just Jared. I’ll get to some interview excerpts in a moment, but first I wanted to talk about a brand new story about single Leo on the prowl. When he broke up with Erin Heatherton last November, Leo reportedly dated co-star Margot Robbie immediately afterwards, but we haven’t heard much about Margot in at least a month. Since then, Leo has announced an indefinite break from acting, which means that he’s been yachting with Naomi Campell and friends as well as taking time to shoot a Jack Daniels commerical.

In addition, Leo has also apparently been trying to find a new model girlfriend. By now, it’s kind of a joke that Leo’s M.O. consists of ordering his giflfriends from the Victoria’s Secret catalog. He’s been with Gisele Bunchen, Bar Refaeli, and Erin, and rumor has it that he and Miranda Kerr have been flirty and cozy together too. So who else’s dog-eared lingerie shots has Leo been fondling in the bathroom? Well, Rosie-Huntington Whiteley for one, and Jason Statham isn’t having it at all. Here are the details:

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley may be gorgeous but she is very much taken, not that Jason Statham’s girlfriend’s relationship status seemed to bother Leonardo DiCaprio who apparently was spotted trying to chat up the stunning model!

An insider at Harvey Weinstein’s Golden Globes after party has told Now Magazine that ladies man Leo tried to make a move for model Rosie. Hardman Jason, who has been dating Rosie for almost three years, soon shut down the flirting though:

“After some small talk, Leo introduced Rosie to his posse and poured her a glass of bubbly. She seemed interested, but unaware that Leo was smitten,” the source alleges. “When Jason spotted his gal with Leo, he summoned her to his side and didn’t let her out of his sight for the rest of the evening.”

Undeterred, confirmed bachelor Leo apparently just moved onto to another hot girl to continue his flirting. Taking things in his stride, Leo soon made a play for another hot girl.

[From Entertainmentwise]

Atta boy, Jason. The dude might not make movies about thinking, but he’s not stupid. Leo’s reputation as a modelizer definitely precedes him, and if he tries this stunt again, Jason would easily be able to kick Leo’s ass into next July. How funny. Now back to Leo’s interview with August Man, and here are some excerpts:

Why he loves acting: “It’s always an eternal sort of mystery in making movies, and that’s the great fun, challenge, and excitement about doing what I do. As an actor, I do everything possible to tell a great story in a truly artistic way, but at the end of the day you never know how critics and audiences are going to respond.”

On getting older: “I guess the big 4-0 hasn’t entered my consciousness yet. I believe it’s very important to look back on the choices you’ve made and re-analyse where you want your life to go and the things you want to do as an individual. I came from a lower middle-class background where, for me, being an actor never seemed like an achievable dream. Once I got my first opportunity to work on a movie, it’s really been a mad rush to fulfil that dream.”

His goals for the future: “My goal is to keep doing great work? I haven’t stopped yet and hopefully the work will never stop. While I’m here, I will always have that drive to not only produce great work, but to make a difference in the world.”

His back-up career plan “In my adult life, my environmental work and activism remain a priority. I created a foundation that focuses on raising public awareness of the very important issues concerning our planet, our environment, and the impact we as people have on the world we live in? It is not only an extremely fulfilling and gratifying learning experience, but has also taken me to some of the most interesting and beautiful places in the world.”

[From August Man]

I know that Leo is commonly regarded as one of the greatest actors of his generation, but it’s still a bit jarring to see that he also sees himself that way with the “great work” comment. I’d wonder whatever happened to humility, but I guess Leo’s early success and lucky dovetail into Martin Scorsese’s waiting arms (after Robert DeNiro proved to be such a disappointment during recent decades) means that he never has to worry about not having the luxury of choosing from quality scripts.

Just for kicks, here are some older covers from Leo’s appearances in the July 2010 and August 2011 issues of August Man. His face has changed rather rapidly in just a few years, right?

Leonardo DiCaprio is taking an indefinite break from acting: will you miss him?

Leonardo DiCaprio

It’s no secret that I’m not the biggest fan of Leonardo DiCaprio, and I’ve long referred to him as “the grumpy chihuahua” for reasons that I cannot ever remember; that is, besides the obvious. For the vast majority of his career, I’ve enjoyed Leo in a few choice roles (Romeo + Juliet, Catch Me If You Can, and The Basketball Diaries), but I honestly find most of his recent work (such as Inception) to be fairly overrated. Leo has made a name for himself as a diverse actor, but I observe him to be largely a one-note thespian, and I feel like if Martin Scorsese hadn’t taken Leo under his wing, then his acting career wouldn’t have remained nearly as elevated to this date. I’m also not terribly fond of the way Leo conducts himself in his personal life either, what with Pu**y Posse and an endless cache of Victoria’s Secret models under his belt.

However, I am going to give Leo a huge break from now on at least in regards to his acting — not that he’ll notice or care what I think of him, but his work as Calvin Candie in Django Unchained was just so over the top and deliciously malicious that I had to watch it more than once. The boy did good. At this moment in time though, Leo is ready for an indefinite vacation from working. Will you miss him?

Leonardo DiCaprio

This could be Leonardo DiCaprio’s last awards season for a while. The actor has announced he’s retiring from acting indefinitely. “I’m a little bit drained,” he told German newspaper Bild. “I am now going to take a long long break.”

After doing three films in two years – Django Unchained, The Great Gatsby and the recently-finished The Wolf of Wall Street – DiCaprio says, “I’m just worn out.”

Publicity tours for those films still loom, however, but DiCaprio, 38, has other plans for when his schedule slows down. “I would like to improve the world a bit,” he says. “I will fly around the world doing good for the environment.”

In the meantime, he’s living green at home. “My roof is covered with solar panels,” he revealed. “My car is electric. A normal person does not drive more than 50 kilometers a day. That can be done with a plug.”

[From Page Six]

This is just talk, right? For certain, Leo has led a very hectic year with three major roles in big-budget, blockbuster films. I’m not sure how long he’ll realistically be away when his IMDb profile reveals twenty-three projects in development, but we’ll see. In addition, you can bet that next time Marty Scorsese comes calling, Leo will dutifully quit his break in short order. Those two are thick as Hollywood thieves together.

Does anyone else find it slightly amusing that Leo plans on flying around the world and burning up a ton of carbon credits in order to help save the environment? I admire anyone who is devoted to such a cause, but there’s just so much work to be done at home that travelling the globe to do so seems a bit silly and self-defeating. But I guess it’s his thing.

Also, dude really needs to lay off on the self-tanning lotion.

Leo DiCaprio is allegedly “getting serious” with 22-year-old Margot Robbie

A few months ago, the rumors began swirling about Leonardo DiCaprio’s love life. It seemed that Leo had split with Erin Heatherton and immediately taken up with 22-year-old (side-eye) Aussie actress Margot Robbie. Margot and Leo were working together on The Wolf of Wall Street, and while it seemed out of character for Leo to date an actress (as opposed to a model), Margot IS young and blonde with a great figure, so she’s probably his type. Unfortunately, we sort of lost the thread of the Robbie thing when Leo started hanging out with Miranda Kerr, and everyone (or just me) was like, “OMG, Miranda is going to leave Orlando Bloom for Leo!” Well, Leo wants you to know that he’s not a homewrecker. Leo is still boning Margot Robbie, thank you very much:

Leonardo DiCaprio had been rumored to be getting cozy with his beautiful “Wolf of Wall Street” co-star Margot Robbie, but sources tell us they may be getting more serious.

A spy spotted DiCaprio at Robbie’s apartment building in Union Square on Thursday night, and Leo was seen leaving the next morning.

“He stayed overnight,” a source told us. We exclusively revealed DiCaprio broke up with Victoria’s Secret model Erin Heatherton at the end of October after a year of dating, just as he was in the throes of shooting “The Wolf of Wall Street,” in which Robbie plays Leo’s love interest.

The Australian actress then joined DiCaprio in Las Vegas for his 38th birthday, and a witness at the time told us, “There looks to be some strong chemistry between Leo and his leading lady. They spent a lot of time at the party together.”

She was also a guest at his $3 million Champagne-fueled birthday bash at the Darby last month. Robbie’s rep didn’t get back to us.

A rep for DiCaprio said, “That didn’t happen. Leo worked late and stayed home.”

[From Page Six]

Eh. I can’t believe I care this much, but I’m guessing that Leo and Margot probably are having some kind of situation (a boning situation). But… it’s loose. It’s casual. It’s typical Leo. And he’s still got his eye out for Victoria’s Secret models, after all. I do wonder if Leo might occasionally get bored with his own “type” though – and maybe that’s why the Margot rumors are sticking around. This is Leo’s way of mixing it up a little.

Miranda Kerr seen getting “flirty” with Leo DiCaprio while Orlando is away

Yesterday, we discussed the rumors that Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz might be hooking up in some kind of loose situation where they call each other friends and party together, and maybe there’s a beej somewhere along the line. None of you cared much, probably because most you thought Leo would never deign to get some from any woman over the age of 25, nor would he ever get some from a woman not currently featured in the Victoria’s Secret catalog. You’re probably right. But what if Leo is feeling a little different these days? What if Leo wants a challenge after years of picking off the proverbial low-hanging fruit of ditzy 22-year-old blonde models? What if Leo tried for a Victoria’s Secret model… who was married and had a kid? That’s the rumor. The NYDN claims that while Orlando Bloom has been away (filming in South Africa), Miranda Kerr and Leo have been getting closer. Suspiciously close!

Leonardo DiCaprio and Miranda Kerr have struck up a cozy relationship that’s had them spotted all over the Big Apple, murmuring in each other’s ears and partying until the wee hours together. Tongues started wagging about DiCaprio when he broke up with his latest Victoria’s Secret model, Erin Heatherton, and became very single again.

Kerr, married to Orlando Bloom, was among a celeb-packed group, including Cameron Diaz, Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Robert De Niro that partied for DiCaprio’s 38th birthday bash at the Darby Downstairs. The Victoria’s Secret beauty stayed until late in the evening at the Nov. 10 party.

On Nov. 21, Kerr and DiCaprio, who is buddies with Bloom, were again spotted chatting each other up at ABC Kitchen, where they dined with a small group of friends, but sat next to each other throughout the meal.

“They were very flirty with each other,” one eyewitness tells Confidenti@l’s Marianne Garvey, adding that the duo were deep in conversation for most of the meal.

Last Friday, Kerr, looking gorgeous in leather pants and a white silk tank top, attended the opening of Rosewood on E. 19th St., where she partied and danced with a gaggle of fellow models. She soon summoned DiCaprio to the lounge’s invite-only night and he showed up, along with longtime pal and “Gangs of New York” co-star Diaz.

“Miranda was sitting with him most of the night. She had her legs draped over him,” said an eyewitness. “They were talking to each other a lot.”

But a source close to the Aussie model assures us all is well with her hubby, Bloom, and that he is in South Africa filming “Zulu” and the duo will reunite for Christmas.

“Orlando and Leo are friends; Miranda and Leo are just friends,” an insider tells Confidenti@l. Kerr is photographed nearly every day toting her adorable son, Flynn, nearly 2 years old. She and Bloom married in July 2010.

“There is absolutely nothing going on with Leo. They have been very good friends for a very long time,” said a close pal of Kerr’s. “There is nothing to it.”

Kerr’s modeling agency did not get back to Confidenti@l by deadline.

[From NYDN]

Hm… my first thought is that I wouldn’t put it past Leo to hit on a bro’s wife. But my general read on Miranda is that she’s a “good girl” – too “good” to screw around on her husband with a notorious womanizer. But flirting up a storm, draping her legs on Leo, meeting up with him several times over the course of a month while her husband’s away? Hunh.

CDAN had a story about this yesterday too – he says Miranda and Leo haven’t been seen together since their “ill-fated attempt at a vacation”… which I have no memory of. He also says that Miranda doesn’t get along with Leo’s ex Erin Heatherton. Girl drama plus marriage drama? This could get very interesting.

Leonardo DiCaprio & Cameron Diaz: old friends or friends with benefits?

Leonardo DiCaprio has been single for more than a month. Or so. I don’t really think Leo is all that different when he has an “official” girlfriend and when he doesn’t, so no 20-something model is ever going to be safe when Leo is around. Since breaking up with Erin Heatherton, there’s only been one girl loosely associated with Leo – his Wolf of Wall Street costar Margot Robbie. She’s blonde, she’s “22” (cough) and she’s very pretty, with that sort of haughty look that some men love. The complaint against Robbie is that she’s an actress… and Leo doesn’t DO actresses, generally speaking. But what if he’s in the mood to go completely against type? What if he’s in the mood for a quick hookup with some blonde, with a great body, an actress… who is 40 years old? SHOCK! Page Six claims that there might be something brewing with Leo and his friend Cameron Diaz:

The party continues for single Leonardo DiCaprio. The “Django Unchained” star and Cameron Diaz hooked up, as pals, at the opening of hot new club Rosewood on Friday.

“Miranda Kerr and a group of girlfriends were the first to show,” said a spy at the cocktail lounge, adding that models Jessica Gomes and Jessica Hart were close behind. Later, “the crowds parted when Leo entered” and he sat with Kerr and company.

“He was texting until Cameron arrived,” a source said, “and it was obvious they are great friends . . . he was very excited when she came to meet him, and he got up from his table to guide her to where he was sitting.”

The models then did what models do: danced on banquettes, in this case to the tunes of DJ Regg Ruck, and drank Champagne and Belvedere. At 3 a.m., DiCaprio made sure to “tip the waitresses and say thank you” before he and his posse headed out. Leo was spotted the next day at a raucous Day & Night brunch (where one loaded reveler stuffed $2,000 in singles into a fog machine).

Diaz was seen dining at The Lion with a pal.

[From Page Six]

Yeah, it doesn’t say they hooked up, only that Leo looked very happy when he saw her and that he seemed attentive to her. Considering Camy’s dating history and Leo’s dating history, I think Cameron is probably into it and Leo is probably just hoping for a quick hookup. He wants to maintain their friendship, but he likes her and he likes her vibe. They’ve been friends for more than a decade, after all. He’s never going to get serious about Cameron or anything, but he’s probably up for a friends-with-benefits thing. And Cameron… well, I think the girl is a mess, but whatever.

Jamie Foxx on racial sensitivity: ‘Every single thing in my life is built around race’

Leonardo DiCaprio

Three of the main players of Django Unchained — Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, and Jamie Foxx — cover the December issue of Vibe magazine to discuss the upcoming (and already controversial) movie directed by Quentin Tarantino. This, of course, follows Leo’s rather bland statements (excepting the ones that concerned phrenology) on the movie from this week’s discussion of Leo’s “intense” face on the cover of next month’s Details issue. I will admit to being an exceptionally rabid fan of Quentin Tarantino’s movies, but something about the Django trailer rubbed me the wrong way. Sure, the movie seems to have QT’s usual revenge motif going on in a huge manner, but the movie (especially Leo) just seemed so campy. Now Vibe describes Leo as “the most revered actor of our time” (who, incidentally, smokes electronic ciggies), and the trio pictured on the cover have given a joint interview. Here are some excerpts:

Leonardo DiCaprio

Leo on tackling Django: “I wanted to go in there and try to embody somebody and an attitude that is so foreign to me and go the distance. I think it took me to places I didn’t even imagine. It really took on a life of its own. We knew there was going to be controversy. The question is: What is not a realistic depiction? I would argue that it is. It is Quentin’s re-creation; this character doesn’t exist. There’s nobody that is documented to do what Jamie’s character has done at the time. But the documentaries I saw went even further.”

Jamie’s response to Leo: “Put it this way: I completely understand what you’re saying. ‘Cause as black folks we’re always sensitive. As a black person it’s always racial. I come into this place to do a photo shoot and they got Ritz crackers and cheese. I’ll be like, ain’t this a bitch. Y’all didn’t know black people was coming. What’s with all this white sh-t? By the same token, if there is fried chicken and watermelon I’ll say ain’t this a bitch? So, no matter what we do as black people it’s always gonna be that. Every single thing in my life is built around race. I don’t necessarily speak it because you can’t.”

Jamie on Tyler Perry’s thoughts: “When you’re talking about the script, of course it’s going to be controversy. I remember talking to Tyler Perry about it. [In Perry's very serious voice] ‘Ah man, the script, man. Have you read it?’ When I finally read it, I called Tyler and we had a conversation. I said, ‘I got a different take on it than you did.’ And we shared. And I called Tyler while we were shooting it. I said, ‘Do you know that Quentin Tarantino knows all of your sh-t on TV. I don’t even watch all of your shit.’ He said, ‘Really?’ The difference is the Quentin Tarantino Effect. I ran into Spike Lee at the BET Awards. You know Spike, he’ll let you have it whether it’s good, bad or ugly. And he said, ‘I’m not going to say anything bad about this film. It looks like y’all are getting it.’”

Kerry on her research process: “This is not a doc. This is a Quentin Tarantino film. But I remember there was this one moment in the script where Jamie’s character was put in an awful crazy medieval metal mask. I said, ‘That’s some sick thing Quentin thought up.’ And when I went to the production office to meet about my wardrobe, I saw into the research office. Twenty photos of real masks like that. It made me sad. I realized as much as my degrees and everything I’ve read on slave narratives [should have informed me], I didn’t even know that they wore masks like that, that people did that to us. It took a Tarantino movie for me to know that that’s not some crazy thing out of his imagination. That’s how it went down.”

Leo on playing the bad guy, finally: “Playing a bad guy opens you up to not having as many rules or restraints. I think actors have gravitated to that because it frees you up in a way. It takes you to the darkest place of where you are as a person and lets you indulge in that and give in to that and be as horrible as you possibly can without the conflicting side of what’s good and what’s right. This is the first legit bad guy I’ve ever had to play, and it is a f’king horrible [character]; the worst display of humanity I’ve ever read in my entire life. Not even just because of who he was and the racism, but because he is just the most self-indulgent bastard I’ve ever read.”

Leo on Oscar screenplay talk: “For me, the initial thing obviously was playing someone so disreputable and horrible whose ideas I obviously couldn’t connect with on any level. I remember our first read through, and some of my questions were about the amount of violence, the amount of racism, the explicit use of certain language. It was hard for me to wrap my head around it. My initial response was, ‘Do we need to go this far?” Quentin pushes the envelope, you know, much like Inglourious Basterds was about World War II, a heightened reality. His depiction or retelling of that time. This is his retelling of this era. But my immediate question was, ‘Are we going too far?’”

[From Vibe]

Okay, I’m officially sold on watching Django Unchained in the theater. At first (and at second) glance, the trailers seemed too campy to deal with the subject of slavery in a respectful manner. But I remember being slightly skeptical at the onset of casting for Inglourious Basterds too. Then I read the script for that movie (before watching the trailers) and I was similarly sold. While I haven’t read the script for Django yet, I will place my faith in QT. He hasn’t led me astray yet, although I remain amused at the scores of critics who claimed to love Death Proof upon its release and then changed their minds a few years later. Death Proof was only meant to be a throwaway exploitation flick and nothing more, but QT returned to fine form with Basterds, and hopefully he is here to stay.

Here are a few candid shots of Leo getting tackled by the “FBI” on the set of Martin Scorsese’s Wolf of Wall Street set. Is it just me, or does he really look like Ray Liotta in these photos? Perhaps that’s intentional, but we’ll have to wait until the movie comes out to judge for sure.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s ‘intense’ face on the cover of Details: handsome or creepy?

Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonard DiCaprio covers the December “Hollywood Mavericks” issue of Details magazine, and I’m pretty unimpressed with this cover. Surely, they could have come up with a better cover shot than Leo “intensely” staring towards the photographer, and the whole cover layout seems really cheap as well. Leo is wearing a Burberry Brit shirt but looks like one of the middle management guys from Office Space. Here’s the other photo released from Details so far, and it isn’t an improvement by any stretch.

Leonardo DiCaprio

For better or worse, Leo remains one of the hottest actors (from a career standpoint) in Hollywood. His latest starring vehicles, The Great Gatsby and Django Unchained (which comes out on Christmas Day), are in the chute, and he’s still filming Wolf of Wall Street, plus his IMDb profile shows 23 films in development. However, I have never understood the huge buzz surrounding this guy. Sure, he had a big “moment” following the floppy hair of Titanic, but Leo’s ultimately grown into the form of a grumpy chihuahua. No disrespect to chihuahuas. I don’t get why he’s such a “maverick” when, really, he’s a modelizer who just got lucky enough to fall into the “muse” category with Martin Scorsese. Like, Leo’s enduring career could be attributed to Bobby DeNiro going all soft. Anyway, here are some uneventful excerpts from the Details interview:

He’s very in demand: “This has been an exceptional situation. Filming three movies back to back to back, I don’t think I’ve ever done that. In a weird way. I realize these movies are about three different periods in American history, but all have a central character trying to hold on to the privileged life they’ve been given, by any means necessary.”

His Django Unchained character, Calvin Candie: “One of, if not the most, despicable, indulgent, radical characters I’ve ever read in my life. Writer-directors tend to be very precious about their material and their words, but Quentin’s [Tarantino] whole process is getting input from the actors and adding levels to their characters. A lot of the talks we had specifically about phrenology really took him to a completely different level.”

His career choices: “Of course it’s all risky….I mean, that’s the excitement of doing it, you know? I don’t know why I choose certain films. I just gravitate toward them and I don’t question that.”

On producing: “My whole thing has been to develop material outside the studio system for myself, and this expanded to funding material I won’t necessarily star in. I don’t need to wear the producer hat while making movies, but I love to have that collaboration.”

[From Details]

As much as it shames me to admit, I had to google “phrenology” to figure out what the hell Leo was talking about in reference to his character development process with QT. Apparently, it’s a pseudo-science (that I’ve heard of before but forgotten the term for) where the bumps on one’s head are believed to determine one’s personality. It sounds very freaky but makes sense in terms of Leo’s sadistic character. Yeah, I still don’t know if I want to watch this movie. I love the hell out of Tarantino and will probably catch Django on DVD, but Leo is probably the only thing that will keep me from watching it in theaters. I don’t have any hatred for the guy, but he’s just so bland even while acting campy.

Leonardo DiCaprio made out with 66-year-old Joanna Lumley (Patsy Stone!)

As an Absolutely Fabulous devotee, I never really thought I would see this – Patsy Stone (also known as 66-year-old British actress Joanna Lumley) making out with 38-year-old compulsive modelizer Leonardo DiCaprio. SWEETIE DARLING!! Obviously, this is not the real Leo making out with the real Joanna Lumley, although I’m sure Joanna could show Leo a thing or two – she would rock his world better than any 20-something Victoria’s Secret model.

But they were just filming scenes for Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street, which Leo has been filming for months. There have been rumors that Leo has been romancing his young Aussie costar Margot Robbie, but wouldn’t it be funny if he was like, “Naw, bitches. Joanna Lumley is my new girl.” The film also stars Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey, Kyle Chandler and Jean Dujardin, and the whole thing is set in the 1980s. I have no idea what Joanna’s character is doing making out with Leo’s character. I suspect it involves seducing wealthy retirees for some kind of Ponzi scheme. Spoiler?

Wouldn’t you love it if Joanna somehow talked Leo into doing an AbFab cameo? That would make my life.

Is Leonardo DiCaprio’s jumpoff his 22-year-old Aussie costar Margot Robbie?

The corpse of Leonardo DiCaprio and Erin Heatherton’s relationship is barely cold and the tabloids and gossip columns are already trying to set Leo up with the first available blonde they come across. To be fair, I doubt Leo will be “single” for long. But that doesn’t mean he’s going to settle for the first big-busted blonde he sees. Leo is currently working on The Wolf of Wall Street, which is being directed by Martin Scorsese, and it features an interesting cast of actors. One of those actors is Margot Robbie, a 22-year-old Aussie girl, blonde, with a nice figure. Here’s a photo:

That face… that face says she’s Leo’s type. And she’s blonde, and she has a nice body, and she’s the “right age” for Leo – he doesn’t seem to like girls above the age of 25 or 26. She’s not tall enough, but I could see it… especially if we’re just talking about a fling. Here’s what Page Six has to say about the potential hookup:

Newly single Leonardo DiCaprio headed to Las Vegas over the weekend to celebrate billionaire businessman Jho Low’s birthday — and was spotted with his “The Wolf of Wall Street” co-star Margot Robbie.

DiCaprio, who just broke up with Victoria’s Secret supermodel Erin Heatherton, and stunning blonde Australian actress Robbie, who plays Leo’s love interest Naomi Lapaglia in the Martin Scorsese-directed movie, appeared close at the party at the Wynn Las Vegas on Saturday night.

One witness said, “There looks to be some strong chemistry between Leo and his leading lady. They spent a lot of time at the party together.”

But another source close to Leo insisted, “They are shooting a movie and are just friends. There were a lot of people with them celebrating a birthday. That’s it. They are definitely not an item.”

Other guests at the lavish bash in a private marquee tent, thrown by friends including Swizz Beatz, to celebrate Low’s 31st birthday, included reunited couple Bradley Cooper and Zoë Saldana, Robert De Niro, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian — who was spotted hugging and dancing with her former frenemy Paris Hilton.

Sources tell us that after a break in filming “The Wolf of Wall Street,” Di Caprio and his co-stars were back on set in New York yesterday.

Here’s what I find interesting… obviously, Leo was paid in some way to appear in Las Vegas at this birthday party. Maybe he was actually paid real money, or his friend just sent him a private jet and Leo had everything comp’d or whatever. So, Leo takes off to Las Vegas… and he brings his 22-year-old blonde costar? So that makes me wonder. Of course, I’m sure Leo was “partying” with other girls while in Vegas. And I’m sure he’s a big tipper.
