I don’t really understand why this news “broke” on a Friday afternoon for Us Weekly and E! News considering that Page Six already had the “exclusive” story on Monday. But here we go – Beyonce is pregnant again. Allegedly, maybe. Probably. Or something. It’s worth noting that after Page Six claimed Bey was pregnant, Us Weekly ran a story with sources claiming she definitely was NOT. Then Beyonce had to cancel one of her concerts in Belgium and everyone was all “Oh, it’s on, break out the pillows, y’all.”

Let’s just do bullet points:

*E! News says: “That’s right: Superstar supermom Beyoncé is expecting her second child with hubby Jay-Z, multiple sources exclusively confirm to E! News.
The news follows rampant speculation that the “Countdown” songbird was pregnant, even as the couple remained tight-lipped about their ever-growing family.”

*Us Weekly doesn’t have any new sourcing, they’re just citing E! News. But! Us Weekly does say that when Beyonce finally did perform in Belgium (after canceling the one concert), she told the crowd, “Now, my doctors told me not to perform tonight, but there was no way in the world.”

*And People Magazine doesn’t have anything. Yet. I feel like People’s editors think that Beyonce should confirm exclusively to them, but Beyonce’s people are like, “No, Bey, you gotta wait until some big event and then pop that pillow out!” Or something.

Anyway, the long and short of it is that there’s still no real confirmation. Watch this space!

Two days ago, Page Six reported – based on the gossip of unnamed sources – that Beyonce was maybe/probably pregnant (again!). Beyonce didn’t say anything. Neither did her reps. No one officially commented on the reports, although Us Weekly got some sources to claim that the pregnancy story was BS. Then Beyonce canceled her show in Belgium yesterday, apparently because of “doctor’s orders”. Huh.

Beyoncé is canceling her Tuesday concert in Belgium because of dehydration and exhaustion, her rep says.

In an email to The Associated Press, the singer’s publicist says Beyoncé has been advised by her doctors to rest. She was scheduled to perform at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp. The show will be rescheduled and tickets can be used at that show.

Her next tour date is Wednesday at the same arena. The statement says “she is awaiting word from her doctors before making a decision.”

The cancellation comes amid reports Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z are expecting a sibling for their daughter, Blue Ivy, now 15 months.

Beyoncé, 31, launched her Mrs. Carter World Tour last month in Belgrade, Serbia. It wraps Aug. 5 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The plot thickens!! I’ve said several times this week that I don’t believe Beyonce is pregnant, but I guess I may need to admit that I was wrong. She could totally be pregnant. The fact that her reps still haven’t formally shot down the pregnancy rumors taken with the “exhaustion” excuse and the show cancelation? Suspicious. Very suspicious.

Beyonce did issue a personal apology to her Belgian fans too. She posted the note (below) on her Tumblr & Facebook pages, saying: “To my dearest fans in Antwerp. I’ve never postponed a show in my life. It was very hard for me. I promise I will make it up very soon. I’m sorry if I disappointed you. Thank you for your concern. I’m feeling much better now. And I’m ready to give you a great show. See you tonight. All my love Beyonce.” So I guess she’s definitely going to perform tonight? Hm.

Many of you were discussing whether Beyonce is pregnant again (?) after her appearance at the Met Gala last week. I discussed it in another Beyonce post, didn’t I? Yes, we talked about it in the “hand-carved ice balls” post. It seems that some people are discussing the possibility that Beyonce has gotten knocked up again, this time while she’s on her Mrs. Carter Show tour. Now Page Six is kind of running with the rumor:

Music insiders are chattering about Beyoncé expecting her second child with husband Jay-Z. Multiple sources told us after the Met Gala last week that the singer, who is currently in the middle of a world tour, is pregnant. Bey wore a Givenchy gown with a high, belted waist that carefully camouflaged her midsection, but pictures have emerged on blogs of what looks like a baby bump from recent tour dates.

Last week Beyoncé, who gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy in January 2012, gave an interview to ABC’s “GMA,” where she said, “I would like more children. I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being a big sister.”

But she came short of saying when that would occur: “At some point, when it’s supposed to happen,” she told ABC’s Amy Robach. Beyoncé’s rep didn’t get back to us for comment.

But we wouldn’t expect her to — the singer announced she was pregnant with Blue Ivy at the 2011 MTV Music Awards by revealing her bump on the red carpet.

Yes, remember when Beyonce announced her first pregnancy? Remember how the week before, her stomach had been completely flat and then BAM, she had a large bump at the MTV VMAs? Why wouldn’t Beyonce do that again? And by that I mean, if she was pregnant, why wouldn’t she slap another pillow on and debut the thing at the Met Gala, which she co-hosted? The “famewhore” aspect doesn’t make any sense, because if Beyonce really was pregnant (again…?), she would want to maximize the attention she got from the announcement, like she did the first time. So I’m saying I don’t think she’s knocked up again. Maybe I’m wrong, whatever, caveat, etc. But I just don’t think she would get pregnant just a few weeks into her tour, you know? Isn’t it more likely that she just gained some weight or something?

Here are some photos of Jessica Simpson, Eric Johnson and baby Maxwell arriving at LAX yesterday. I continue to be rather stunned that Jessica’s second pregnancy is so low-key. I think she learned several lessons from her first pregnancy. One lesson: all of the weight you gain doesn’t just go away when you give birth, even if you have “a lot” of amniotic fluid. Second lesson: there really is no need to make such a public spectacle of yourself while pregnant. I feel like Kim Kardashian is still stuck in that phase and Jessica has moved past it.

Most sites are going with “ready to pop” headlines, but I guess it’s worth noting that Jessica is due around the same time as Kim Kardashian AND Duchess Kate. I suspect they will all give birth, domino-style, within a few weeks of each other, but that won’t happen until late June/early July. Jessica and Kim first, then Kate. Who will go first? I suspect Kim will deliver via pre-scheduled C-section, and Jessica probably will too – didn’t Jessica have a C-section with Maxi? Incidentally, Busy Phillips should be giving birth any day now – I think she is, as they say, “ready to pop”.

But really, who can even look at Jessica’s bump when you can just look at Maxwell? Maxi is 1 year old now, and her hair is really starting to get thick! My mom did the “rooster tail” hair style on me when I was a baby too. Maxi is super-cute, and I think she’s really starting to look like Jessica. She’s a little ham too – she’s super-aware of the cameras.

Here are some photos from last night’s premiere of A Case of You at the Tribeca Film Festival. Evan Rachel Wood debuted her sizeable baby bump last week as Tribeca opened, and I thought she looked so beautiful in those photos. She looks really pretty in these pics too – her gown is Dolce & Gabbana… because she’s still the face of D&G fragrances, I think. It’s flowery and definitely maternity-wear, and she looks so… radiant. For me, ERW is the prettiest pregnant lady these days. I know it’s not a competition or anything, but Vanity Fair did just “rank” pregnant-celebrity style and it’s a shame that ERW didn’t even make the list.

I think Busy Phillips is probably going to give birth any second now. And I have a wave of empathy for how uncomfortable she must be, and how difficult it is for her to find a cute outfit. That being said, this jumpsuit is a trainwreck.

Did you forget that Evan Rachel Wood is pregnant? I had forgotten. I was looking through these photos of the Tribeca Film Festival’s Vanity Fair party (it’s for the opening of Tribeca) and I was like, “Oh, Evan looks cute… OMG, pregnant!” She announced it months ago. And she’s barely been photographed since, which is nice. My guess is that she’s probably due when every other celebrity women is due – late June, early July-ish. That’s when Kim Kardashian, Duchess Kate and Jessica Simpson are due too. I’m not trying to make a side-by-side comparison with any of those women, so I’ll just say that I think Evan looks amazing and really, really beautiful and I’m happy for her. I don’t really understand why she’s belly-cupping (we get it, you’re pregnant), but it’s not that awful. I’m forgiving of her mostly because I like her so much and I think she looks great here.

According to the NY Post, Ivanka Trump, 31, is pregnant with her second child. Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, welcomed daughter Arabella Rose about two years ago, and she’s spoken of her wish to have more children. She’s also talked about how she regularly works 16 hour days, didn’t intend on taking more than two weeks maternity leave with her last pregnancy, and how she finds it harder to be with her daughter on the weekends than to be in the office. She just made some of those comments to Redbook recently, a href=”http://www.celebitchy.com/290021/ivanka_trump_works_16_hour_days_i_think_it_makes_me_a_better_mom_when_im_home/”>we reported on it last week, so I’m surprised to hear this news. Here’s more:

Donald Trump is set to become a grandfather again — his daughter Ivanka Trump is pregnant with her second child, sources exclusively tell Page Six. We’re told Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, are delighted that she’s expecting and due in the fall. The source added, “Ivanka is starting to tell friends and family about her pregnancy.” The couple already have daughter Arabella Rose, who turns 2 in July. Ivanka recently told Forbes that she would “love to have three children, maybe four.”

I’ll give basically the same response I gave to Ivanka’s interview last week – this is her prerogative. She’s not preaching about the superiority of her way of life, she’s just explaining how she does it. If she wants to have kids and still be a workaholic that’s her choice. Many of you pointed out that men with children regularly work insane hours and that no one ever questions them. Plus, Ivanka’s office is very close to her home/penthouse from what she’s said. If she wants to let her nannies be with the kids most of the time and she’s not fronting like she’s some kind of supermom, then that’s cool with me.

Personally, the longest I’ve ever worked was a 12 hour shift at a gas station when I was college, but that’s much different from the lavish office where Ivanka Trump runs her growing empire. That 12 hour shift was hell. Working from home is much different, and I get to move around and take breaks whenever I want. That’s probably how Ivanka feels about her office, it’s her home away from home except she doesn’t have as many distractions. Congratulations to Ivanka and Jared on their happy news!

As CB reported last Friday, Halle Berry is pregnant with her second child at the age of 46. The father is Halle’s French fiancé of some-odd two years (it feels like longer, right?), Olivier Martinez, who last made headlines for beating the crap out of Gabriel Aubry last Thanksgiving. Following Friday’s announcement/confirmation, Halle stepped out in NYC over the weekend, making an appearance at a UN event with Michael Kors. It seems that Halle and Michael are working together on a new initiative for the United Nations World Food Program, which is why Halle has given a new interview to CNN:

Halle Berry is just as shocked as everyone else, apparently, about her big baby news. In her first interview since confirming her second pregnancy at age 46, the Oscar-winning actress told CNN’s Alina Cho, “I feel fantastic!”

The baby-to-be is her second child (joining big sister Nahla, 5), and her first with fiance Olivier Martinez. Berry confided in Cho that the pregnancy caught her unawares. “This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth. Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it’s been a big surprise and the most wonderful.”

Berry demurred when Cho asked if she’s expecting a boy, as sources have revealed to Us Weekly, TMZ and other outlets. “I don’t know, I don’t know. But [the baby is] healthy!”

At Berry’s side for the CNN chat with fashion designer and Project Runway judge Michael Kors, who both work with the United Nations World Food Program to fight hunger. (Berry was the guest of honor at the Four Seasons in NYC on Saturday for her work with the program.)

Berry explained that her pregnancy reminded her that many expectant women across the world struggle to feed themselves and their unborn children. “Especially now, being a pregnant woman and already having a child … it’s so important what happens to the baby while they’re in utero. And the first 1,000 days is fundamental,” said Berry, revealing her baby bump in sexy black dress by Kors. “Good nutrition during that time period is fundamental for your baby to develop properly and normally,” she added.

“I’m a mom, and that’s first and foremost, but it gives me another reason to exist, another purpose,” she said of her work with the charity. “And if I know that I’m helping one person every day in some way, that really makes me feel good, and that’s a legacy that I can leave to my children.”
The interview airs on CNN on Tuesday, April 8 at 12pm EST.

I’m including the video below – I’m a little bit confused when Halle says that this pregnancy was a “the biggest surprise”. Even Alina Cho threw some momentary shade with a quick “Really?” So I guess this means that Halle didn’t undergo fertility treatments? Or is she just playing coy, like: “I did the fertility treatments but I was totally surprised that they worked!”? I think Halle is really saying that this pregnancy happened naturally. I mean, it happens. It’s not outside of the realm of possibilities or probabilities. Hm… don’t mind me, I’ll just quietly sit here giving Halle a side-eye though.

(PS… Now I know why Halle’s boobs looked so amazing in Hawaii, right? Pregnancy boobs.)

It’s official, Halle Berry is knocked up at 46 with her second child. TMZ broke the news that Halle is expecting with her fiance, Olivier Martinez, and that she’s three months pregnant with a boy. Halle’s rep confirmed that her client is expecting a baby so it’s on. US also has the detail that Halle’s daughter Nahla, with her ex Gabriel Aubry, has been asking her for a sibling.

Yes, yet another A-lister is having a baby in 2013: Halle Berry! The Oscar-winning actress, 46, is pregnant with her second child — a baby boy! — and her first with fiance Olivier Martinez, a source confirms to Us Weekly, adding that she’s “elated.” According to TMZ, which first broke the news, the Call star is three months along. UPDATE: Berry’s rep tells Us: “We can confirm that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are expecting a child.”

The baby-to-be will join big sister Nahla, Berry’s 5-year-old child with ex Gabriel Aubry. Us Weekly was first to break news of Berry’s engagement to her hunky Dark Tide costar, 47, back in January 2011. Berry and the Frenchman confirmed their happy news a few months later, but have yet to set a wedding date.
Appearing on The Wendy Williams Show last fall, the Cloud Atlas star admitted that little Nahla was pining for a sibling — but a sister.

“That’s the thing. [My daughter is] asking me,” Berry admitted. “Every night we pray to God, and she’s so sweet. She says, ‘God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.’ And I say, ‘I can do one of those things, I know for sure! The other one we have to keep praying on.’ What do you say to her when she wants that and can’t understand why God’s taking so long, you know?”

That’s pretty surprising. I would have guessed that Halle and Olivier were on the outs before I would think that she was trying to get pregnant. (If she was trying.) Maybe this is why Halle and Olivier just took that Hawaiian vacation, to celebrate. I wonder if Halle went to see a fertility specialist, which seems likely given her age (although it happens), or if it just happened naturally for her. Congratulations to Halle and Olivier on their happy news! Hopefully they can avoid the drama that seems to follow Halle and her exes.

Both In Touch Weekly & Star Magazine put Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy weight gain on their covers. In Touch did this two weeks ago, and The National Enquirer did it last week. It’s like all of last week didn’t happen, where Kim told everyone that she only weighs 140 pounds and she’s only gained 20 pounds so far and all of us were like “Hahaha YOU LIE” and then Kim said we were bullying her. I guess the tabloids just have their story and they’re sticking to it. So… let’s see where we are… In Touch says that Kim totally ate everything in sight when she was in New York last week:

In Touch has learned that in recent weeks, the expectant star has indulged in high-calorie, carbohydrate-heavy meals including creamy risotto, chicken and waffles, decadent desserts and more.

On March 17, she was spotted at South City Kitchen in Atlanta scarfing down greasy chicken and waffles, along with smashed bliss potatoes, collard greens, and mac and cheese. Back in Beverly Hills days later, she stopped — twice in one week — into one of her favorite Italian restaurants, Il Pastaio, for carb-heavy lunches.

“Kim ate the same dish both times — creamy mushroom risotto,” a fellow diner tells In Touch. “She also ate bread with olive oil, and the second time she came in she also shared the arancini [fried rice balls] appetizer.” The risotto alone has a whopping 1,300 calories. “She hasn’t just gained 20 pounds like she claims,” a pal tells In Touch. “She’d already gained 45 to 50 when she still had four months to go!”

But it’s more than likely Kim is only eating her feelings. Her beau and father of her baby, Kanye West, 35, has deserted her during the time she needs him most, spending most of his time 6,000 miles away in Paris, far from his pregnant girlfriend. While Kim’s worrying she’ll end up a single mother, she has sweet treats to help her cope.

Thankfully, Kim welcomes her expanding tummy, recognizing the fact that her body is going through a transformation. “At the beginning it was tough for me when your body changes so much, but once you kind of grasp that and embrace it, it’s amazing,” she says.

Ew, I have to be in the mood for mushroom risotto, because if I’m not in the mood, I will totally hork when I smell it. As for the eating-shaming (I’m struggling to find a term that encompasses what this is)… pregnant women like to eat. Most non-pregnant women like to eat too. It’s kind of gross to sit there and nit-pick everything a woman eats. Speaking of, that’s exactly what Star Magazine did this week too – apparently when Kim and Kanye were in Atlanta a few weeks ago, Kim “ate like it was her last meal on earth, wolfing down fried chicken and waffles, buttermilk biscuits, mashed potatoes, mac ‘n cheese, collard greens with bacon and fried green tomatoes with goat cheese.” The nerve! As I’ve said many, many times – I don’t care that she’s gaining weight or that she’s eating a lot. It doesn’t bug me. What bugs me is that she’s pouring her pregnant body into too-small clothes and she’s lying about her size (she’s always lying about her size, though). Maybe all of this really is a conspiracy to get Kim a weight loss contract. Ugh.
