These are photos of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas entering a birthday party in NYC on January 17th. I saw these photos last week, but I guess I didn’t really look through them, because my only reaction was “meh.” However, the tabloids got out their magnifying glasses and decided that they spied a “bump” hidden within Catherine’s little black Herve Leger, and this week, there are several stories revolving around Catherine’s “miracle pregnancy” at… (cough cough) “42”. Yes, she’s holding at 42! That’s the real story, but here’s one version of the pregnant thing:

After years of trials and tribulations, the tide is finally turning for Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas as the couple prepare to welcome another child!

“Michael is giving Catherine her dream gift – another baby,” an insider tells Star. “He’s adamant about giving her the one thing she is truly desperate for.”

On Jan. 17, Catherine kept what appeared to some observers as her bumped-up belly under wraps. Many onlookers “are buzzing that she is pregnant… she’s absolutely glowing.”

“When things were at their darkest, they could only dream that a miracle like this could happen. Now Michael and Catherine feel as if they have a second lease on life. Michael may be an older man, but he feels like a kid again. And Catherine’s blues have gone away. She feels like she’s walking on sunshine!”

Et cetera. There’s more stuff about how Michael is totally “ready” for another baby, and if something bad happens with this bump of mystery (or if she isn’t really preggo), they’ll totally consider adopting.

As for these photos – the alleged photo evidence of Catherine’s “bump” – I can see where her stomach is not quite flat in these photos, but I don’t think that means “preggo!!!” If anything, I think she looks thinner than she usually looks. Although… the Enquirer used a different photo from this set, and Zeta’s bump definitely looked more pronounced. Still, I think it’s just a food-and-wine gut, not a baby bump. In any case, I don’t think “42” year old Catherine is interested in having another baby, and sources tell Gossip Cop the stories aren’t true anyway.

Here are some new photos of Peaches Geldof and her bump, leaving the premiere of The Muppets last night in London. Quickly after New Year’s, Peaches Geldof announced that she was pregnant by her fey fiancé Thomas Cohen, the boy who wears pleated culottes and looks like a junkie. Many thought that this pregnancy was probably going to be another disaster in a long line of catastrophes for 22-year-old Peaches. Sure, we’re hoping for the best, for Peaches and the baby. But her past behavior suggests that we should also set the bar pretty low.

Anyway, shortly after the pregnancy announcement, Peaches and Thomas did an interview and photo shoot with Hello Magazine, and Peaches revealed that she’s already six months along, and she’s due on her late mother’s birthday (April 24), and that she only told her father Bob Geldof when she was five months along. So… this thing is moving fast. Do you think she’s been clean and sober this whole time? I have my doubts, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed. I will admit, Peaches looks healthier than she has in a while. She seems to be putting on a healthy amount of weight, her skin and hair look good. So… good. Keep it up, Peaches.

Let’s just cover all of this Kristin Cavallari stuff right now. I know I’m days late getting to this, and I have two excuses. One, I was sick as a dog with one of the worst stomach flus I’ve ever had in my life, and two, Kristin Cavallari is barely a celebrity. In her mind, she’s like Kim Kardashian or something, some kind of mega-famous reality superstar and everyone pays attention to her comings and goings. At least, that’s how she puts herself out there in my mind. Anyway, these are some new photos of Kristin and her on-again fiancé Jay Cutler. After Jay dumped her shortly before their wedding, Kristin ran around, making sure everyone knew that he was a terrible monster and she was just a poor little victim. And then something happened, and they got back together. Why? Don’t know.

Here’s what I do know – very soon after Jay and Kristin got back together, Kristin made sure she had this thing locked down by getting pregnant in a hurry. Us Weekly initially reported Kristin’s pregnancy on Monday, with sources (Kristin herself) telling the mag, “She is really happy. She is in the early stages, but she can’t wait to be a mom. They have just bought a house in Tennessee and can’t wait to start their family.” Kristin and Jay both confirmed the news too. And then TMZ reported this:

Jay and Kristin announced yesterday they were with child — following a crazy few months where they broke off their engagement, only to announce it was back on.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ, K&Jay had discussed the possibility of kids — but planned to start cranking ‘em out in a few years … not any time soon.

But shocking as it was, we’re told they’re thrilled with the news … renewing their commitment more than ever to making their relationship work.

If Jay wasn’t locked down before, he sure is now.

Sure. I’m positive Jay was surprised. I’m sure Kristin just accidentally went off her birth control or whatever. In any case, it seems like Kristin sure got the news out fast, didn’t she? She’s not even showing – I bet she’s not even two months along. Well played, Kristin?

But that’s not all – Jay also took to Twitter to defend his new baby-mama, telling the world, “We couldn’t be more excited. We don’t usually comment on our relationship but for the record I never broke up with Kristin. Its unfortunate some people are saying hurtful things during such a joyous moment in our life.” Ah, right. That’s why Kristin was running around to People and Us Weekly, positioning stories about herself after she was dumped. Because she wasn’t dumped at all! It all makes sense now, Jay!

I vaguely know who Tara Subkoff is. She was one of the founding designers with Imitation of Christ, she’s BFFs with Chloe Sevigny, and she used to date Jimmy Fallon back in the day. I had no idea that Tara had been dating Tom Hooper, the British director who won the Oscar for The King’s Speech last year, for more than a year. But they were together. And now it’s over. And it’s a MESS. Tara is pregnant, you see. And her version of events has Tom Hooper dumping her literally MINUTES after she told him she was pregnant. His version is different, but it’s still pretty rough:

Oscar-winning director Tom Hooper has called off his engagement to fashion designer Tara Subkoff, who’s just told friends and Hooper that she’s a few months pregnant with his child, according to sources.

The pair were quietly engaged in Paris in May after meeting around the Golden Globes in January last year.

“They had just celebrated their one-year anniversary,” said a source close to the couple.

But “The King’s Speech” director last weekend broke off their relationship and left New York for London, as Subkoff suspected she was pregnant.

Sources close to Subkoff say the couple had been trying for a baby for months, and, “She took several home pregnancy tests,” after he left for London. Now “Imitation” creator Subkoff is telling friends a doctor has confirmed her pregnancy and she is “distraught” about the end of their relationship.

However, a source close to Hooper confirms he broke off their engagement, but insists he had no idea she was expecting until Subkoff left him a voice mail yesterday.

“He broke up with her on Friday, and the last time they spoke was Saturday. He did not know she was pregnant — there was no discussion of her being pregnant,” the source said. “Then he got this voice mail [yesterday] from Tara saying she’s pregnant. He doesn’t know what to do.”

The source explained the pair had broken up a few times and their relationship had recently been rocky. And Hooper “just wasn’t ready to get married. He’s married to his career. He’s just going into production on a huge film. He’s under a tremendous amount of pressure. The timing of this could not be more difficult.”

But the source added, “Tom still adores Tara, and obviously he’ll do the right thing by her.”

Hooper will begin production on “Les Miserables” — starring Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway —on Feb. 6. Reps for Hooper and Subkoff had no comment.

If this story was about two B-list (or even C-list) actors, it would be getting major play. But I guess people don’t care about British directors and their pregnant fashion designer girlfriends? Prove them wrong! Care about this, because it’s a really scandalous gossip story. Do you believe Tom’s side of things, that he dumped her without knowing about her pregnancy? Or was Tara trying to “trap” him into a commitment by getting knocked up? I think the crux of the scandal is in the timing – she finds out she’s pregnant and he dumps her, all within a 24-hour-period. Sketchy!

I feel like I’ve been saying “any minute now” about Jennifer Garner’s impending birth for months. But seriously, she’s probably going to give birth any minute now, right? Look at how big she is! Of course, she’s been looking super-preggo for a few months now. Still, I’ll just call it now – I think Jennifer will give birth in the next… two weeks? Yep. That’s my guess.

Anyway, these are new photos of Garner minus her dimply girls. Jennifer was just out running errands yesterday, and apparently she just bought a new car – a red Range Rover, which you can see here, at The Mail. The Mail seems to take the new car purchase as evidence that Jennifer is definitely having a boy, which… seems weird. I think she’s having a boy this time too, but not because of a car purchase.

Also – Fame Pictures notes that Jennifer has a bunny-eared case for her iPhone. I bet her girls picked it out, don’t you? It’s very cute.

The tabloids were on a tear last week, claiming that Jennifer Aniston is pregnant or abandoned or trying to get back with Brad Pitt, or some combination of all three. The story that I think is most likely is the pregnancy story – we talked about that last week. There’s some sketchy photo evidence that makes it seem like Aniston might actually be pregnant, although it’s debatable as to how far along she allegedly is. Considering that pregnancy rumors begin as soon as Aniston gets a boyfriend, she’s either been gestating for 13 months, or she’s just gained some “I quit smoking” weight. Or, you know, she’s knocked up. Now The Mail is getting in on the action – they claim that Aniston has told her agents that she’s going to be taking a break from work after she promotes Wanderlust next month – and the break is because family planning is on her mind (and in her womb):

Jennifer Aniston is cutting back on her work schedule amid rumours that the Friends star is pregnant.

The actress, left, who is dating 40-year-old Justin Theroux, has decided not to take on any more movies for the foreseeable future.

She has to do promotional work for Wanderlust – the movie on which she and Justin met – but Jennifer, 42, has told her agents she needs a break.

‘She wants to focus on herself and hopefully becoming a mother,’ says my source. ‘She is thinking of launching her own fashion line which would allow her to spend more time at home.’

Jennifer and Justin recently holidayed in Colorado, where they reportedly spent every night in together.

The gossip theory that I’m working on right now (in my gossip laboratory!) is that Aniston IS pregnant, and she will do the big bump reveal for the promotion of Wanderlust, perhaps conjoined with an engagement announcement. She and Justin Theroux will role their relationship out in conjunction with their film – red carpet hand-holding, a teary, confessional magazine and television interview, and of course, a loved-up, bump-showing trip to the Academy Awards. Oh, who’s going to be nominated for Best Actor this year? I don’t even remember because I was so focused on Aniston’s bump! If it actually goes down like that… well, it will get very interesting.

In 2010, Amy Adams gave birth to her first child, a baby girl that Amy and her fiancé named Aviana. Aviana is a little cutie, and Amy joined the ranks of “Hollywood mothers who appeal to normal, non-celebrity folk.” Like, my mom loves Amy Adams. Amy Adams and Jennifer Garner are her “other” daughters. I think Amy and Jennifer are probably a lot alike – they both seem low-key, and both seem to prioritize motherhood and raising children away from Hollywood drama. I would even say that Amy succeeds in having less drama than Jennifer, honestly, and I find Amy more genuine and relatable.

So will Amy double-down on her “Hollywood Moms Are Just Like Us” cred and have another baby? That’s what these photos are about – Fame Pictures says that Amy has a small baby bump in these pics. Do you see it? I’ve been looking, and I think I see a hint of something other than a complete flat stomach, but it could totally be a simple case of a baggy, not-so-flattering blouse. It could also be Amy’s self-described “muffin top” since her first pregnancy. Whatever is going on, I wish her well. It wouldn’t surprise me if she was pregnant again, but then again, she loves to work. She just signed on for a new movie with Clint Eastwood, so she’s probably not knocked up.

Blah. If this feels familiar, it’s because we hear this story twenty-million times a year. So why I am I writing about it? Because it’s a slow gossip day, and because I honestly thought Angelina looked knocked up in Palm Springs two weekends ago. OK! Magazine reports this week that Angelina is definitely and totally knocked up, and that she’s about three months along. This baby is the product of a renewed “spark” between Brad and Angelina – apparently, they always get along better when they’re trying to conceive.

Lately, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have dropped some none-too-subtle hints that they’d like to add to their brood of six children. The smart money seemed to be on adoption — though Angelina did say recently, “I could end up pregnant.”

Turns out she wasn’t toying with us: A source close to the Oscar-winner reveals that Angelina is expecting her seventh child and telling friends she can’t wait to be a mom again.

“She’s almost three months along,” the source confirms to OK!. “It’s not something she wants to officially announce but she’s at a point where she is telling a select group of people.” Adds an insider: Angelina is really savoring every moment. she’s having a tough time with morning sickness but says it’s all worth it.”

Indeed, Angelina appears to be embracing the whole process: nausea, racing hormones, weight gain and all.

The actress is already mom to six lively kids — Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and Knox and Vivienne, 3 — and she’s more than prepared for this newcomer.

“Angelina has cleared out her bedroom and redone it all in white,” the insider said. “She wants the room to have a Zen-like feeling because she believes in the mind/body connection and wants her mind at peace.”

Friends say this baby couldn’t have come a better time — it’s saved the couple’s relationship!

“Of coure, while trying to conceive, Angelina and Brad got to spend a lot of alone time,” the insider revealed. “The kids are rarely without either one of their parents, but over the past few months their nannies have been taking over a lot more.”

The bonding time worked: “Angie and Brad have always had an incredible physical connection, but when they have the mission of making a baby, things between them really spark up.”

There’s other benefits to expecting a little one: Pregnancy will force super-skinny Angelina to eat. “Because Angelina sees so much starvation up close, it’s always hard for her to indulge in food,” the source explained. “But when she gets pregnant, all that goes out the window.”

All is well in the Jolie-Pitt household. “It’s a very joyous time,” the insider said. “Everyone is thrilled to see them in a happy place.”

But will there be MORE kids? “They certainly do plan to adopt again,” the source said.

Basically, Angelina is always in a constant state of A) Extreme thinness or B) Pregnancy. If the tabloids are convinced that she’s not pregnant, they run “Angelina is too thin” stories. If she looks like a relatively healthy weight, they run “Angelina is preggo” stories.

That being said, if this turned out to be true, I wouldn’t be surprised. I think Angelina’s boobs look bigger, and her top half just looks slightly more filled out. In her past pregnancies, you could really see it in her boobs, her arms and her constant sack-wearing.

Kelsey Grammer took home a Golden Globe last night for Best Actor in a TV Series for his portrayal of an ailing mayor on the take in Boss. Backstage at the show, Kelsey made the announcement that his wife of nearly a year, 32 year-old former flight attendant Kayte Walsh, is pregnant with twins. Walsh suffered a miscarriage in the fall of 2010 early in her relationship with Grammer.

Former “Frasier” star Kelsey Grammer and wife Kayte Walsh Grammer are expecting twins, the actor said Sunday.

He made the announcement backstage at the Golden Globes after winning the award for best actor in a TV drama series for his roll in “Boss.”

“I’m really looking forward to meeting these new arrivals in our lives, I really am,” he said.
Grammer, 56, married the 32-year-old former flight attendant in February in New York, just after Grammer’s divorce became final from his third wife, Camille Donatacci, who appears on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

He predicted Sunday that Kayte will be an “extraordinary” mother.

“She’s one of the most loving, amazing, warm human beings I’ve ever met,” he said.
Grammer currently portrays Chicago Mayor Tom Kane in the Starz series “Boss.” He closed his Globes acceptance speech by thanking his wife “for the future and what a magnificent year it’s been.”

Grammer and Donatacci had two children — Jude, now 7, and Mason, 10. Grammer also has daughters Spencer, 28, and Greer, 19, from previous relationships.

He told CNN’s Piers Morgan in October that “I think (Donatacci) married me because I was Frazier.”
Grammer also told the CNN host that his “parting gift” to his third wife was her role in the reality series “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

“Whether or not it worked well for her doesn’t matter,” Grammer said. “It was my way of saying, ‘Look, you always wanted to be famous. Here you go.’ “

I don’t care for Kelsey at all, and he’s admitted that he started dating Kayte a full six months before he bothered to break the news to his wife of over a decade. Still, I hope that Kelsey and Kayte are happy together and that they have healthy babies. They probably have a few years of happiness left before he starts to vilify her and look elsewhere for fulfillment.

In terms of Kayte’s fashion last night, I thought the orange color of her dress washed her out, and that the color of her hair was all wrong. I would give her a pass on that since she’s pregnant, but she’s clearly dyed her hair in the past couple of days as these photos with the purple dress were taken on Friday and her hair looked so much more orange at the Globes. I’ll be blunt too, her nose looked very beaky to me. I’ve heard that pregnancy can change the shape of your nose. Maybe a different hair style could have remedied that situation.

This story is in In Touch, so who knows if it’s true, but I wouldn’t be surprised. They’re claiming that Jessica Simpson was enrolled in Lamaze classes to prepare for the birth of her baby in April (I still can’t believe she’s only six months along) but that she dropped out and scheduled a c-section. Jessica’s sister Ashlee was in labor for 3 days, which In Touch claims heavily influenced Jessica’s decision to say “screw it” and not bother trying for a natural birth.

Jessica Simpson has dropped out of… Lamaze… She was taking the classes with her fiance, Eric Johnson, but after a few lessons, she decided to skip natural childbirth and schedule a C-section instead. Jessica’s younger sister, Ashlee, was in labor for nearly three days, and going through the Lamaze classes reminded Jessica, 31, of what Ashlee endured. “Jessica can’t wait to become a mother, but she quickly decided that giving birth the old-fashioned way just wasn’t for her. So she is planning a C-section in late April,” a friend says. “She’s already booked a $2,800 suite at Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA.”

I’ve mentioned before that I had my son in a birth center without medication, but I did it due to a fear of doctors and hospitals, not for any noble reason. My husband and I took Bradley Method classes, and I dropped out about 1/2 way through as the classes were boring and I totally thought I had it down. I was so wrong. Labor was calm and fine for me, but when I got to the pushing part I was unprepared for what a total bitch it was. I never should have ditched those classes. Maybe Jess saw some birthing videos or read some materials in class that made her realize it wasn’t for her. To each their own when it comes to such a personal matter and I don’t blame her. She didn’t go into it thinking she was too posh to push, she just realized it before it was down to the wire.

Also, people may think that a $2,800 suite is excessive, and it very well may be. The birthing center I went to cost $5,000, but that included everything and my insurance covered it. That’s just for the birth and 12 hours of convalescing. They don’t even have a doctor there, it’s all midwives. After 12 hours they kick you out, but a midwife came to visit me at home the next day to make sure that the baby and I were fine. If you have an emergency during delivery they just transfer you to the hospital next door. It’s expensive to have a baby.
