Susan Sarandon is now a mother-in-law! Her daughter, Eva Amurri, walked down the aisle in a Southern-style ceremony in Charleston over the weekend. I loved Eva in the third season of “Californication,” and she’s currently running the up-and-coming starlet gauntlet. Hopefully, she’ll get a real mainstream break soon so that her resumé won’t be so littered with one-off episodes of “House, M.D.” and the like. At any rate, Eva tied the knot with soccer commentator Kyle Martin, who’s pretty cute but demonstrates questionable fashion sense on the red carpet. Eva really should gift her new hubby with a new wardrobe:

With a little bit of Southern charm, Eva Amurri and Kyle Martino, a former MLS soccer player who is now a soccer commentator, were married Saturday afternoon in historic Charleston, S.C, her rep confirms exclusively to PEOPLE.

The nuptials were hosted by Amurri’s mom Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins – who helped raise the bride during his 21-year-long relationship with her mother – and capped off a weekend of festivities including a scavenger hunt, cocktail party and casual oyster roast and barbeque rehearsal dinner.

The ceremony, officiated by Sister Helen Prejean – about whom the movie Dead Man Walking, starring Sarandon, was made – was to be followed by a black-tie celebration of dinner and dancing and guests toasted with Perrier Jouet champagne.

Amurri, 26, donned a dress by designer Lela Rose.

“I tried it on and it was over,” she told PEOPLE of the dress. Rose also designed Sarandon’s mother-of-the-bride dress, as well as looks for the bridesmaids. The groom, 30, wore a Brioni tux.

The pair, who became engaged in December, chose the historic city because the groom’s parents currently reside there.

That’s a nice detail about Susan Helen Prejean, isn’t it? That brings a nice sense of occasion to the event, although I had no idea that nuns could preside over weddings. Maybe I should brush up on a Catechism at some point. It’s also nice to learn that Kyle wore something different to get hitched because, hey, the least a guy can do, right? On 9/23, Eva celebrated her bachelorette party in Vegas at Lavo nightclub and showed off her enviable bod in this figure-hugging silver number:

This is a bizarre story that I just couldn’t resist covering. The lovely Susan Sarandon, 64, had an elegant bracelet custom made for her – out of her children’s baby teeth. She told Popeater that the bracelet was made from her three children’s teeth: Eva Amurri, 25, Jack, 21, and Miles, 18.

Apparently, the tooth fairy doesn’t visit Susan Sarandon’s house. ‘The Lovely Bones’ actress has been stepping out at events wearing a rather unusual bracelet crafted from opals, rubies, gold and — her children’s teeth! Yes, you read that right.

She crafted the personalized bracelet from the pearly whites of daughter Eva Amurri and sons Jack Robbins and Miles Robbins. “A friend of mine designed it,” she told PopEater as she twirled the bracelet around her wrist.

Hollybaby reported on this same bracelet last month and claimed that it was made with Eva’s wisdom teeth, but either way teeth are involved and they’re her childrens.

My son recently lost his first two baby teeth, which he was adorably proud of. It was a big moment in our house and he made us promise that the tooth fairy wouldn’t take his teeth. We said we’d work something out with her so he would still get paid but could keep his teeth. I have no idea what I’ll do with those teeth, but we’re keeping them for now. Around that time I was kind of skeeved out to learn that my mother-in-law had saved every one of my husband’s baby teeth. She had a little sack filled with them and it wasn’t pleasant to see them all laid out on the table.

Sarandon’s bracelet is so pretty and you can’t even see that there are teeth in it. Us moms can be a little weird about saving things from our children, and I guess teeth are relatively harmless when compared to the other things kids shed that we could possibly save. I’m thinking fingernails, placenta, boy parts that are sometimes removed at birth. Umbilical cords make sense to me, although I have no idea where my kid’s is. Teeth are just little bones and kids shed them like so many other things from childhood. We just want to hold on to that time somehow, even as our kids give us new things to be so proud and thankful for every day.

It’s her birthday today! Happy birthday, Susan! Anyway, I swear, I feel like I’ve read this Susan Sarandon interview before, but I guess I’m wrong. It seems to be new. Maybe she’s just been repeating herself lately? Could be. Anyway, Susan has given an extensive interview to The Telegraph to promote her supporting part in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (I think she plays Shia LaBeouf’s mother, maybe), and no subjects are off-limits. She talks about sex, tattoos and her split from Tim Robbins. Oh, and the interview takes place at the ping-pong club Susan is invested in – the same place where her young lover, Jonathan Bricklin, is a co-owner. On Botox: ‘I’m afraid of Botox, As an actress you have to use your face. But I do think a woman has a right to do whatever she wants with her body.’

On drugs and clean living: ‘I was lucky to come of age at a time when there were consciousness-opening drugs as opposed to the meaner chemical drugs.’ Later she mentions that she is on a health kick, not even drinking coffee. So drugs are out of the question then, I say. ‘I wouldn’t go that far,’ says Sarandon, laughing. ‘And I do like tequila.’

On her first husband, Chris Sarandon, who she married when she was 20 years old: ‘He was the first person I ever had sex with and my best friend. I married so young but took it very seriously; I never had that kind of free-love 1960s. I was slow to lose my virginity. In fact, throughout my life I’ve been with so few people; I’m one of those serial monogamists. I was never that wild, although I was a bit of a hippie chick. I think I probably still am a hippie chick.’

On getting cougar parts: ‘Certainly if there is an older woman/younger guy theme they seem to come to me. I think it’s great that people see me as being multifaceted and still desirable and smart and funny. What more could you ask?’

On her politics: ‘I’ve never had anyone come up and say to me, “You suck as an actor,” but I’ve had people say, “You commie c–nt,” which is shocking when you’re nursing a baby in the middle of the afternoon.’

On not ever marrying Tim Robbins: ‘I’ve always liked the idea of choosing to be with somebody, I thought that if you didn’t get married you wouldn’t take each other for granted as easily. I don’t know if after twentysomething years that was still true.’

On their split: ‘People were coming up to me in the street and saying “I cried and cried when I heard.” Well, I was sadder! I didn’t think it would ever happen, either.’ She implies that her relationship with Robbins ran its course. ‘You bring people into your life at certain times. Maybe you have a relationship to have children and you realise that it’s fulfilled after that point.’

On the dating-Bricklin rumors: Rumour has it that Sarandon is involved with her Spin business partner, Jonathan Bricklin, 31, who is chatting to her when I arrive. ‘You have to have a sense of humour,’ she says about the reports. ‘There are lots of people in my life at the moment.’

So… I guess Susan is dating Bricklin, and probably some other dudes. I have to admit, if I was an older gentleman, I would probably go for Susan. She seems like a lot of fun, and I buy that she really is this natural. She’s not the woman who has to get Botoxed for every event, she’s not the woman who puts herself out there as the “Look At Me, I’m Still Sexy!” cougar. Hell, I’d kind of like to date her right now.

Very soon after Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins announced their split late last year, Susan was immediately rumored to be bangin’ 31-year-old Jonathan Bricklin (he could be 32 years old at this point, I can’t find his birth date). Bricklin is/was best known as the dude who ran a ping-pong club, and as a New York hipster. Neither Jonathan nor Susan really protested or denied that they were dating, and now we have our first photos of the couple, where they’re looking rather coupley. I should point out – there were photos of the two of them hanging out every so often in the past few months, but they were always with other people, and you know, it didn’t seem like ZOMG BOYFRIEND.

But these photos do seem very coupley, in my opinion. Susan and Jonathan (his HAIR, Jesus) are walking around Italy together. Susan brought him to Italy for the Giffoni Film festival in Ravello. Sexy Italian times with her hipster boy-toy? Oh, Susan. I love you, girl. Of course – they could just be “working” – Susan is producing a ping-pong reality show with Bricklin, maybe. More likely she’s just hittin’ it until she moves on to someone younger, hotter and cooler, though. Because that’s the way La Sarandon rolls.

Susan Sarandon, 63, split up with her longterm partner, Tim Robbins, late last year and was soon linked with a 32 year-old ping pong entrepreneur named Jonathan Bricklin. While Sarandon’s rep denied that there was anything going on, she’s been spotted out with the guy on many occasions and is a fixture at the hipster ping pong club he founded, Spin. Sarandon is also a part owner of the club, and has been named in a lawsuit against Bricklin by his former partners, who allege that he took their money to start the business and was essentially frozen out. Susan hasn’t commented on the lawsuit or the relationship, although she does say that she loves being called a cougar and finds it “exhilarating and terrifying” to be single. She also loves ping pong, and told People Magazine that she’s making a non-sleazy reality show to cover the daily adventures at Spin.

“It won’t be the Jersey Shore,” the actress tells PEOPLE at a World Champions Event at her ping-pong nightclub, SPiN, about her latest project. “It’s more of an episodic documentary. We’re trying to invent something you haven’t seen before that follows a bunch of people in this crazy little subculture.”

Sarandon, 63, an investor in SPiN, plans to use the show to record the club’s growing business -– and the community that’s formed there, especially the young players who are trying to make it to the Olympics. (“One of them probably will,” she says.)

Calling herself the “Johnny Appleseed of ping-pong,” Sarandon, who was at the event with her sons Jack and Miles, and the club’s co-investor — and close friend — Jonathan Bricklin, is unsure when and where the show will air.
“We’re just in the early filming stages now,” she says. “I’m not sure where we’re going to land in terms of our home because we want the tone of it to be funny and quite different than anything else that anybody’s seen before

CBS News did a profile of Spin back in early December, when Sarandon was known as a devotee of the sport but before she announced her split with Robbins. That video is below, and they note that Spin is “what may be the world’s first chic ping pong club.” Sarandon said that fellow ping pong lovers include George Clooney and Ed Norton. Ping pong was once known as a geeky sport, but “once you bring it up, it’s like a tattoo,” she explained. “Once you show your tattoo… everyone starts undressing. If you say you play ping pong, all the closet ping pong players come out.” Ping pong is getting a “sexy makeover” thanks to Spin, and Sarandon wants to share her passion with the masses through a reality show. Will her May-December romance be evident in her reality show? I have a lot of respect for her and I’m sure she knows what she’s getting into. If she breaks up with Bricklin, though, will she still want to hang out at Spin and play ping pong?

Susan Sarandon kept pretty quiet after her split with long-time partner Tim Robbins became public in December. Even though she was still promoting The Lovely Bones, she really didn’t do many interviews and she never really gave any reasons publicly for their split. Neither did Tim, for that matter. However, just days after their split became public, many sites (including ours) ran with the rumor that Susan was already bangin’ a 31-year-old dude named Jonathan Bricklin. You see, Susan is an investor in a Ping-Pong club that Bricklin co-owns or operates or something. And they had been seen together several times, usually looking flirty or friendly. The rumors are still floating around, by the way. And Susan and Jonathan are still turning up at the same places at the same times (spooky!).

Anyway, Susan has a new interview in Entertainment Weekly and she’s not doing much to dispel those cougar rumors. Which, by the way, she loves it when you call her a cougar. And she also describes her life post-Tim Robbins as “exhilarating and terrifying at the same time.” Interesting!

In the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, Susan Sarandon talks about life since splitting with her partner of two decades, Tim Robbins. When asked how things have changed for the 63-year-old Oscar winner since they parted ways, Sarandon said, “I did a movie a long time ago where I had to fly in a glider. You get towed up in the air by a plane, and it’s loud and annoying. And at some point you pull the cord and you’re suddenly floating, and in your mind it makes absolutely no sense. But it’s exhilarating and terrifying at the same time. That’s where I am now.”

When asked if she’s dating anyone now (Sarandon’s been linked in the gossip columns to one of the partners in her New York ping pong club, SPiN, 31-year-old Jonathan Bricklin), she shut down the line of questioning with a playful “no comment”.

But, she added: “It’s a long time to not be dating and then go back into it. I certainly love the idea of being in love, and I love the idea of companionship. Whatever happens next in terms of romance and partners, I don’t know. But it’s exhilarating and terrifying. I think the point is just keep moving, and to just say yes to life.”

The actress also says she doesn’t mind being called a cougar one bit. “No, I love that!”

Yeah, I think she and Bricklin are going at it. She’s probably got a few other young dudes on the side too. Because that’s just the way Susan rolls. You know what I’m finding bizarre, though? These are photos of Susan Sarandon, Demi Moore and Brooke Shields at the Donna Karan fashion show in New York on Monday. Even though it seems like Demi has been hellbent on stealing the spotlight from whomever is around, at the show it was Susan who taught the master class in “pulling focus”. I can’t even believe what Susan’s wearing! At 63 years old, Susan decided to go ultra-lowcut in a plaid wrap-dress/caftan thing with righteous black boots. I don’t mind saying that I would rock the hell out of this outfit. But I can’t now – Susan already did it so well!

HuffPo makes a big deal about Susan’s monster cleavage. They call her outfit a “plunging plaid caftan that exposed a glimpse of black bra for the front-row photo op.” I can’t even see the bra! Other than the dress, though, I don’t really care for Susan’s hair or makeup. If she was trying to impress someone with how young and hip she looked, she shouldn’t have done her hair in a grandma bun and she could have tried some concealer. But other than that, yes, she looked great.

By the way, do you know what I noticed? Susan’s face looks the most natural when you can see the side-by-side comparison with Demi and Brooke. Demi and Brooke look like frozen, immovable sisters, the patron saints of Botox. Meanwhile, Susan looks so natural and unfrozen, it’s such a welcome relief. Bless her and her young, fey hipster boyfriend!

This week’s Star Magazine has what I found to be a pretty disturbing article that claims that Meg Ryan and Tim Robbins were having an affair while Robbins was still with his longterm partner, Susan Sarandon. Sarandon, 63, has of course moved on to a much younger guy, Jonathan Bricklin, 31, while we haven’t heard much about Robbins’ activities post split. If Star Magazine is to be believed, and they usually aren’t, Robbins has been carrying on with former romcom sweetheart Meg Ryan for years. I’m hoping this story is based on a photo of Robbins and Ryan sitting next to each other while answering phones at the telethon for Haiti. The two starred together in the 1994 movie I.Q. and are likely to have been friends for a long time.

Did Tim Robbins’ secret affair with Meg Ryan help doom his two-decade partnership with Susan Sarandon?…

Star can reveal that behind Susan’s back, Tim, 51, had been quietly hooking up with… Meg [Ryan] off and on for years! “Tim is thrilled that he doesn’t have to sneak around anymore,” says a source. “He’s making it more serious with Meg. He’s even been staying at her L.A. home, on occasion, for months now.”

Still, he and Meg, 48… are in no rush to go public. “Meg worries she’ll be seen as a homewrecker,” says the source. “She’s wanted to keep the relationship under wraps for as long as possible!”

If more reputable outlets carry this story it might gain some weight. As it is, I’m thinking that Star is hedging their bets by claiming that Meg and Tim are trying to keep their alleged romance under wraps. Plus if that was the case, why did they sit next to each other at the telethon then? It just doesn’t add up. Meg has a history of hooking up with her co-stars though: Dennis Quaid in the early 90s, Russell Crowe in 2000. It’s possible she had something going with Robbins in 1994, which was about six years after Robbins got together with Sarandon and during Ryan’s marriage to Quaid. Maybe the two have had a torch for each other for years. Or maybe Tim and Meg are together now and the relationship grew naturally from friendship and didn’t begin until after Robbins and Sarandon broke up. With Star, you never know if a story is accurate, partially true or just wishful thinking.

For all the vehement denials issued by Susan Sarandon’s reps – and even her mom – it looks like the rumor about her young entrepreneur boyfriend may be true. The Oscar-winning actress has been pulled into a court dispute between Jonathan Bricklin, with whom Sarandon has been spending a great deal of time since her split with Tim Robbins, and his business partners at an upscale ping pong club in NYC. Bricklin’s partners have named Susan Sarandon as a witness – and possibly a little bit more.

Susan Sarandon — who recently separated from Tim Robbins — is caught in the middle of a legal battle involving her new boyfriend, Jonathan Bricklin, and his two biggest investors in SPiN, the pingpong club in the Flatiron District.

The majority investors in SPiN, Bill Mack and Iwona Herdzik, claim in a suit filed last week in Manhattan Supreme Court that the club’s founders — Bricklin, Andrew Gordon and Franck Raharinosy — have frozen them out of the business.

Mack and Herdzik, who together poured more than $1.5 million into SPiN, allege that Bricklin, Gordon and Raharinosy issued additional shares of the company to third parties without their approval, mismanaged SPiN’s finances and threatened to shut the club and file bankruptcy.

Not in the suit are statements sources made to Page Six that Bricklin and minority partner Sarandon, who invested $50,000 in the club, are in cahoots to run the business without consulting Mack and Herdzik. The sources say Sarandon and Bricklin met at a Naked Pingpong party in February, 2008, and later became romantically involved as they worked on a video for Robbins’ 50th birthday. Sarandon’s rep did not respond to a request for comment.

Herdzik and Mack claim they tried to resolve things through arbitration, but Bricklin and his fellow co-founders allegedly refused and threatened to close the club and give the keys to SPiN’s landlord — which would have lost the investors all their money.

A rep for SPiN responded: “Bill and Iwona attempted to take control of SPiN New York, but the judge flatly denied that request. There is zero truth to the allegations that the club is seeking bankruptcy protection.

“They tried to work out their differences with Bill and Iwona over a heated table tennis match at SPiN, but they ended up in court, which is a lot less fun.”

Hmm. Naked Ping Pong. Now that’s an icebreaker! This guy might be fun for now, and Susan is probably getting her groove back and all, but there seems to be some baggage accompanying this relationship in the form of a bad business deal that is about to get a lot uglier. One of Sarandon’s favorite hotspots is SPiN, the ping-pong club where she’s an investor. On Tuesday night, she strolled into the place just before 8:00 p.m., wearing a slouchy black newsboy cap and sneakers to chat with one of her partners at the lounge, Jonathan Bricklin, and a few friends. Rumors have swirled of a romance between Sarandon and 32-year-old Bricklin, but reps for both have denied it. Still, Sarandon seems to be enjoying the single life.

Sarandon spends a lot of evenings hanging out at her club SPiN with the young crowd that frequents the place – including Bricklin. On Tuesday, she popped in for just 20 minutes before she was out the door – perhaps to check out another late night hotspot.

Staying Out Late
On Dec. 28, Sarandon was spotted at Manhattan’s Creperie, a tiny crepe joint in the West Village. The same night, she and Bricklin, checked out Mermaid Oyster Bar, a casual seafood restaurant just down the street. The kitchen was closed – so they just had drinks. “He drank two Jamesons and she had tequila,” says a source. They left at around 1:30 am.

Flirting with Dave Letterman
On Dec. 22 – one day before announcing her split from Robbins – Sarandon appeared on The Late Show with Dave Letterman to promote her upcoming role in The Lovely Bones. She chatted about her two Pomeranians and learning to pole dance with her daughter, Eva, who learned the skill for a guest spot on Californication – and Sarandon showed off a new tattoo around her wrist.

With her late night prowling, maybe 63 really is the new 30.

I’ll buy that Susan is still relevant and sexy and cool, but I will not buy that she’s the representative of “63 is the new 30.” Why can’t “63 be incredible on it’s own without comparing it to another age”? That being said, I do think Susan and this Jonathan Bricklin kid are hittin’ it, and I think People Magazine thinks so too.
