I love to see what Emma Watson wears on the red carpet because she loves contemporary fashion, she can rock some tiny micro minis, and she takes risks. So I thought that last night was a real missed opportunity for her. She wore this cutout Prabal Gurung wrap-look dress which just fell flat for me. For any other red carpet, for something like a movie premiere or an event, this would have worked well. It fits her like a dream, it highlights her great figure, and I love her sleek hair. This was supposed to be a punk night, and I would have loved to have seen her mix it up with some contrasting patterns or even some wild accessories like Sarah Jessica Parker. As it was, this was too safe. Her only nod to punk is an asymmetric earring. Still, she looks super cute.

Also, in some photos the dress looks navy blue, but I think that’s just due to the flash. It was probably black.

Uma Thurman baffled me in this green Zac Posen fishtail gown. She looked pretty, she really worked that dress, but this is in no way punk. These designers know the theme well ahead of time, they could have worked in a funky belt for her, but she just wore a dress more suited for the Oscars with glamorous styling and classic accessories. Very pretty, but staid and not mixing it up at all.

Julianne Hough at least tried a little in this reinterpretation of a strapless princess gown, from TopShop. Kaiser covered Nicole Richie’s TopShop gown, and both women did have punky looks. I like the geometric spider web-type print on the gown, the irregular hemline with a black tulle underskirt, her studded shoes and her black and white manicure. She even had some cool overdone eyelashes paired with nude makeup. Whoever styled Julianne did a great job. I think she’s wearing a spider ring too!

As we heard would happen, Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn made their red carpet debut as a couple. All I can do it smirk and shake my head. How is this plain white dress with gold drop earrings “punk”? Something nice: she toned down the raccoon eye makeup and her hair looks pretty.

Don’t yell at me for focusing on Uma Thurman and Quentin Tarantino! I didn’t know who to lead with from last night’s premiere/screening of Django Unchained. I was expecting to lead with Kerry Washington throughout the Django press tour, but Kerry wasn’t at the screening, which is sad because I miss her fashion. But to make up for Kerry’s absence, a lot of ladies came out to support QT, including one of Quentin’s great loves, Uma. Remember when Ethan Hawke thought that Quentin and Uma had an affair when they were making Kill Bill? Yeah. He really believed that. And I think Quentin definitely would have been up for it. Who know if it really went down though? Whatever happened, I believe Uma and Quentin are just great friends and collaborators, and they love/respect each other a great deal. I believe she only lets dudes like Arpad Busson put it in, you know? Incidentally, when Quentin was recently asked about a “Volume 3” of Kill Bill, he said it probably wasn’t going to happen after all.

Fine, I’ll say it – Christoph Waltz looks HOT with everything shaved. He was looking like a crazy wooly mammoth for a while, but this is a great look for him. Does anyone else think, “Huh, I bet Matt Damon looks like this in 15 years”?

Here’s Leo DiCaprio, looking kind of gnomish. What’s up with him? When is he going to get a new Victoria’s Secret girlfriend? Is he waiting for Miranda Kerr to leave Orly?

Django himself, Jamie Foxx. I like his suit-sweater combo. He looks good! You want to hear something freaky? Jamie Foxx is 44 years old!! Vampire.

Zoe Kravitz, still rocking the short hair. Out of all of the girls who chopped off their hair over the past few years, I think Zoe works it the best. I’m not crazy about the dress, but it could be worse, so… it’s okay.

And here’s Liv Tyler in what looks like D&G, with some extremely bad shoes. I know CB loves her and everything, but I think we need to acknowledge that Liv has a really bad Shoe Problem.

Here are some photos from last night’s 8th Annual UNICEF Snowflake Ball at Cipriani 42nd Street in NYC. From what I remember of past Snowflake Balls, they usually get a pretty decent turnout, and there are usually some solid A and B-list celebrities. But this year’s Snowflake Ball does feel a little… basic. I mean, I’m happy to see Selena Gomez and Katy Perry in attendance, but surely UNICEF could have gotten a few more “bigger” names? Anyway, I think my favorite of the night was Selena. She wore Dolce & Gabbana… I really like it. It’s occasion-appropriate, it’s flattering, it’s not trashy. I love her hair here too.

Uma Thurman in Atelier Versace… the dress is okay. I get that Uma just had a baby recently and she still wants to be covered up, plus it’s winter and everything… but I think the thick velvet adds weight. A lot of you have asked if Uma is tweaked too – I don’t think so. I think her face looks different because of the baby weight.

Katy Perry in Naeem Khan – I love the color on her and I think the dress (and cape!) overall is a nice choice for the event. My one complaint: Katy needs to stop parting her hair down the middle. It’s not flattering to her face, and it’s just not a great hairstyle for her.

Kelly Ripa looks… eh. I don’t like this dress on her, and I think she’s tweaking. I’m also getting a weird vibe from Mark. Is he over it?

The Bush girls!! Jenna Bush-Hager looks especially busty. Pregnant boobs maybe? Is Dubya about to become a grandpappy?

Matt Lauer and his wife reunited for the red carpet. Ten bucks says they were fighting by the second course.

Here are some new photos of Uma Thurman doing what I can only imagine was a paid gig for the launch of BMW’s new i8 Roadster. It’s a gorgeous car. Throughout the past five years or so, Uma and Arpad have been on and off so many times, and I think they were legitimately engaged at one point, but the engagement ended. Uma was flashing a huge diamond ring at this event – but it was on her right hand. So…? I don’t know.

Uma Thurman couldn’t have looked more Bond Girl if she tried. The actress unveiled the new BMW i8 Roadster in New York on Monday and to add to the already dangerously glamorous proceedings was spotted sporting a whopper of a diamond ring.

Thurman star looked right at home as she posed in the new concept car, harking back to the days when she played the beautiful but deadly assassin Black Mamba in the Kill Bill series. The 42-year-old looked every inch the smouldering bad girl as she gracefully emerged from the sleek sports car and proudly showed off the mammoth sparkler on her finger.

The ring was not worn on her left engagement ring finger however so it does not necessarily mean Thurman is planning to tie the knot right now – but it could be a hint of things to come. It is also not unusual for high profile female celebrities to become engaged but to wear their engagement ring on another finger to throw the public and the press off the scent.

Thurman is in a relationship with London-based financier Arpad Busson and in July this year she gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson. Thurman and Busson, who have been on and off again since 2007, were engaged at one time but ended their romance in 2009. It was 2011 before it was confirmed they were back together again.

I’m really not sure if Uma wants to get married again – I kind of think she likes her life as-is, she enjoys being in NYC with her kids and Arpad gets to come and go as he pleases. I realize some dudes do like to propose when their lady gets knocked up… and Arpad was “engaged” to his other baby-mama Elle Macpherson for five years. But they never did get married. It could be that Arpad is gun-shy about marriage, but he likes to give his ladies a nice piece of jewelry.

These are photos of Uma Thurman arriving in England, having just flown in from LA. Did she dye her hair darker since we saw her two days ago? I think she did. When Uma was at the Elle Magazine “Women In Hollywood” event on Monday night, she had darkish roots, but most of her hair was her standard blonde shade. And now she looks pretty much brunette. Fascinating! Also, at the Elle event, many of you thought Uma looked a bit tweaked or “refreshed”. I do think she looked – and in these photos, looks – different, but I attributed it to weight gain from her pregnancy. She hasn’t lost all of the baby weight, and her face still looks “filled out” to me. But sure, maybe she’s tweaking…? I really don’t know.

Really, I’m just writing about these photos because I love the whole vibe here. I love Uma’s coat so, SO much. I want it. I want someone to tell me where to buy it and I want it to be less than $100. I WANT IT. I love how breezy Uma looks too – like she’s got her baby in chest carrier and she just wrapped her coat around the baby at the last minute. Uma just looks fantastic in these photos. Maybe that’s just me – I’m still enchanted by the coat.

As I mentioned before, we still didn’t know what Uma named her baby girl three months after she gave birth. Thankfully, last night Uma’s rep confirmed the baby’s name. It’s EPIC.

Since giving birth to a baby girl on July 15, Uma Thurman and her beau Arpad Busson have stayed publicly mum on their daughter‘s name. Until now.

And it sure was worth the wait.

“I would like to announce Uma and Arki’s daughter’s name for the first time officially: Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson, better known to family and friends as Luna,” the actress’s rep Gabrielle Kachman tells PEOPLE exclusively.

While the couple is keeping the origins of Luna’s name private, Thurman’s rep allows, “Each name has a special reason and meaning to her mother and father.”

Born in Rhinebeck, N.Y., baby Luna is the first child together for Thurman, 42, and Busson, 49. She joins elder siblings, Maya Ray and Levon Thurman-Hawke, from Thurman’s marriage to Ethan Hawke, and Flynn and Cy Busson, the financier’s sons with ex-fiancee Elle MacPherson.

These are more photos from the ELLE magazine 19th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills last night. Emma Watson was one of the big “gets” at the event, and she was awarded the “Calvin Klein Collection Emerging Star Spotlight Award” for her work on The Perks of Being A Wallflower, and her upcoming movies. Emma wore Calvin Klein for the event… I don’t hate it. It’s appropriate on her, it looks fine. It’s not super-exciting or anything, but it’s a solid look. I will say this – her hair looks good and her makeup looks GREAT.

I don’t know what designer Uma Thurman is wearing – I suspect it’s Calvin Klein as well. This is one of Uma’s first red carpets since giving birth to a baby girl a few months ago. Incidentally, we still don’t know the name of the baby. I think Uma looks really good here – I would have liked to see her hair up, but overall, she looks great.

Viola Davis in Calvin Klein… gorgeous. I love when she wears white. It’s a great look for her. I love the pop with the blue shoes too!

Julianne Hough was one of my worst dressed of the event. Look at this mess! Unflattering dress, way too much makeup, and milkmaid hair. Awful. I’m so tired of Julianne trying to be a “thing” too. It’s over, Julianne. No one is buying it.

Uma Thurman gave birth to a baby girl one month ago, and we STILL don’t know this baby’s name. Can you believe that? Usually the name leaks in the first week, or the celebrity issues a press release. The one exception is Natalie Portman, I guess – it took us a while to learn that her son’s name is Aleph. Uma’s older kids (by Ethan Hawke) are named Maya and Levon – both names I like a great deal. Slightly “unconventional” in that they’re not, like, George or Mary or something. Now that I’ve realized that we still don’t know this baby’s name, it’s killing me. I need to know!!! I also want to know if the baby is going to be a “Thurman-Busson” or just “Busson”. Because the baby-daddy is Arpad Busson, Uma’s on-and-off boyfriend. Obvs.

Anyway, these are some new photos of Uma and the baby. She was photographed in a grainy cell phone pic, like, a day after giving birth (you can see that pic here), but Uma really stepped out with the baby several times last week. There are even a few clear shots of the baby which we don’t have access to – you can see one here. The baby is a brunette, and she has a serious little face. From what I can see, she takes after her father.

Incidentally, these photos show Uma trying to shield the baby from photographers with the help of some dude with a really long tarp. Unfortunately, Uma got caught up in the tarp and she almost fell with the baby in her arms. Fame/Flynet says she was coming out of a midtown office building and the tarp dude is an employee of the building. You know that dude must feel pretty rough – tried to help a mom with a baby and he ended up almost making her fall.

PS… Yes, Uma has a Prada baby bag. I kind of love her for not wearing makeup though.

Uma Thurman has given birth! Uma and her baby-daddy/boyfriend Arpad Busson welcomed a baby girl yesterday in New York (I think it was NYC). They haven’t released a name yet. The little girl joins her half-siblings Maya (13) and Levon (10), the two children Uma had with Ethan Hawke. I’m predicting a relatively normal name for this little girl… something kind of boho, but not crazy. Like Summer Arabella Busson or something.

Uma’s a mama again! Uma Thurman gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday, a source confirms exclusively to Us Weekly. No other info was immediately available.

It’s the the third child for the 42-year-old Oscar nominee, who has two children — Maya, 13, and Levon, 10 — with ex-husband Ethan Hawke, and her first with financier beau Arpad Busson.

The Smash guest star and Busson, 49, called off their engagement in 2009, but reunited last year.

“Uma was definitely not planning on having another kid. It was a surprise,” a source told Us, which first broke new of Thurman’s pregnancy back in February. “But she’s over the moon about it, very excited.”

Thurman and her daughter-to-be were feted at a small baby shower in NYC May 31 thrown by her half-sister Taya Thurman. Among the two-dozen guests at the baby pink-elephant themed bash were Thurman’s Smash costars Debra Messing and Will Chase.

Thurman’s ex-husband Hawke has also become a parent again following their 2004 divorce; the actor, 41, and second wife Ryan are parents to young daughters Clementine, 3, and Indiana, 11 months.

Congrats to the happy family! Hopefully they’re happy about it, because I really do think this pregnancy was a complete surprise. Uma announced her pregnancy earlier this year, after there were some suspicious blind items that may or may not have been about Uma’s early pregnancy-partying. Uma was also photographed with a wine glass full of some light liquid back in March, when she was on vacation in St. Bart’s with Arpad and her kids. Hopefully, the baby girl is perfectly healthy and we’ll find out the name soon enough.

Uma Thurman went from “Is she pregnant?” to “OMG, she’s extremely pregnant” in about six weeks it seems. Uma announced her pregnancy (by Arpad Busson) at the end of February. I’m guessing that by then, she was probably… like, four or five months along. These are new photos of Uma in St. Bart’s over the weekend, where she is vacationing with her baby-daddy, and with her two kids by Ethan Hawke, Maya and Levon. That’s little 10-year-old Levon kissing his mom’s hand, it looks like. Isn’t he adorable?

Anyway, Uma looks very pregnant, which is why I’m assuming that she made the February announcement when she was already far along. Uma looks healthy and comfortable. She’s also sipping a glass of a wine, something that may be slightly controversial. Some people think an odd glass of wine during a pregnancy is no big deal. Some people say no alcohol EVER while pregnant. Isn’t it true that you really should avoid alcohol consumption in the first trimester, but later on in the pregnancy, it’s not as potentially harmful? Or is that an old wives tale?

So… whatever. Uma looks great. I hope her pregnancy is healthy, happy and uncomplicated. I hope she and Busson stick with each other. I hope that one day I can have this kind of fun-looking vacation.

At the end of February, Uma Thurman’s rep confirmed her pregnancy by Arpad Busson, her longtime, on-and-off boyfriend. Busson is crazy rich and crazy connected, but Uma has never seemed like she was at his beck and call. Honestly, it never seemed like they were a couple destined to last. But still, there’s going to be a baby in the mix, and hopefully everything will turn out well. As many of you theorized, Uma seems to be the “reveal” in Lainey’s blind item about a woman who feared that her drug use at the beginning of the pregnancy would affect the child. Lainey made it sound like the woman was considering terminating the pregnancy, so I was surprised to see Uma roll out the news in every publication – everyone got a confirmation, and there’s no mention of any scandal. We’ll see. Anyway, Life & Style claims that Uma is having a girl:

It’s a girl! Life & Style can reveal exclusively that Uma Thurman’s two children (with ex Ethan Hawke), Levon, 10, and Maya, 13, are getting a little sister!

“Uma is having a baby girl,” a friend of the actress tells the new issue of Life & Style, on newsstands now.

Life & Style was the first to report that Uma is expecting her third child. “She’s happy and just a few months along right now,” the insider says. “She’s due in late summer.” A rep for the star later confirmed the happy news.

If it’s true, congrats. If it’s a boy, congrats on that too. Uma is probably just hoping and praying that the baby is healthy.

Uma also has a new interview with Stylist Magazine to promote her upcoming film, Bel Ami. That’s the one she did with Robert Pattinson. You can read the whole piece here – she seems very nice and down-to-earth, although not incredibly interesting. She does have kind words for Sparkles, though – “He’s very serious. He did a huge amount of rehearsal in his own time. I think that’s what you do as a young actor, when you take your work very seriously and want to take it to the next level…You know, when you’ve been doing this a really long time it’s hard to take it all so seriously. I said to him ‘Don’t get too upset about it because before you know it, Twilight will just be an old film that made you lucky enough to get another job.’ But when you’re in that position and you’re young, it’s hard to hear through the noise.” Basically, Uma was trying to get him to chill out.
