Denise Richards has her hands full now that she’s caring for Charlie Sheen’s twin four year-old boys along with her three daughters aged nine, seven and two. She’s a single mom busting her butt, but she does just fine on Charlie’s $55,000 in child support a month. She reportedly turned down his offer for additional money now that she’s guardian to the twins. As for how she does it, Denise recently said that it’s hard work, but that she manages because she wants “to be there for them.” At least someone in that wacked-out extended family is sober and responsible. Here’s what she told US Weekly:

Us Weekly caught up with the star on Saturday, May 18, at Carolle’s Adopt-a-Doll event at the Grove in L.A., where she opened up about her fuller-than-usual house…

You just figure it out because you don’t have a choice. You have these children depending on you,” she explained to Us of how she manages. “You prioritize. I had children because I want to be a parent, and I want to be there for them.”

“I think my biggest challenge is [that] their different activities sometimes overlap,” she added, noting that she tries to attend everything. “I have a good schedule going. You just manage.”

For legal reasons, Richards couldn’t talk specifically about the situation with Mueller and Sheen’s kids — the twins were placed under her care earlier this month, when Mueller checked into rehab for the 20th time — but she could (and did) talk about her relationship with her ex. “My situation with Charlie is that we’ve gotten along for quite some time now, and it’s so much better,” she told Us. “There are a lot of feelings and emotions there, but at the end of the day, our daughters benefit from us getting along, and [I do], too.”

“I don’t want to have an unhealthy relationship with him, something toxic with a lot of animosity. Life’s too short for that,” she continued. “We actually enjoy hanging out, and we enjoy being with the kids.”

Denise knows how to hustle and gets headlines, but she’s been nothing but gracious about Charlie and their situation for years. Plus of course she has help, but I buy that she does most of the parenting on her own, and that she cares deeply about those kids. It takes someone with real heart to open their home to their ex’s kids. She is giving those boys a stable home after they were (presumably) neglected by their drug addict mom, Brooke Mueller, although the good news is that Brooke had nannies. Brooke has been trying to strip temporary custody of her boys away from Denise so that Brooke’s brother can get $55,000 a month in child support. Her second attempt to do so failed last week. Brooke’s lawyer was trying to argue that Denise was only watching the twins for the additional money, but the fact that Denise refused to accept any more money from Charlie blew a hole in that.

Brooke is still at Betty Ford rehab, which she chose because she was hoping to be besties with Lindsay Lohan. That’s not going well, according to a source quoted by Radar, who claims that Lohan goes out of her way to avoid Brooke. “Lindsay has said that Brooke is a drug addict, and wants nothing to do with her. Lindsay has told her treatment team to keep Brooke out of her group sessions.” What a bitch. Not that this 20th stint rehab would have stuck for Brooke, but Lindsay’s rejection has to be hard for her to take.

More details are coming out about Brooke’s addiction, with Radar recently reporting that she overdosed six times in the past two years. Brooke is said to have seen her boys for a few hours yesterday when they visited her in rehab along with a court appointed monitor.

The last time we reported on Bethenny Frankel she was claiming she’d made the wrong choice in marrying her now estranged husband, Jason Hoppy, and should have trusted her instincts, basically. Bethenny added that she did have her daughter by Jason, but it sounded like she was backtracking. She also admitted that she was still sharing an apartment with Jason while they were going through a contentious divorce, and she claimed that he made her feel like a bad person while they were married. Oh and she also called divorce “the most difficult thing you can go through in your life” and complained that her divorce hadn’t been amicable like she was expecting.

So is it any surprise that Jason, who hasn’t talked to the press at all as far as I can tell, is going to court to try and keep Bethenny from talking any more crap about him? Radar has the story claiming Jason is trying to get a gag order that enforces the privacy clause in their prenup:

The latest missive in the War of the Roses split comes after Frankel gave an interview to People in which she revealed the marriage was “a mistake,” and the divorce was making her “miserable.”

Jason, 41, “has had enough and asked his lawyers to go to court asking the judge to impose a gag order on the entire divorce proceedings. He doesn’t want Bethenny discussing the divorce in the media. There are specific clauses in their prenuptial agreement that prohibit either party from talking about their relationship in the press. Jason wants Bethenny to just zip it when it comes to the divorce,” a source told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

As we previously reported, the former Real Housewife of New York star revealed that her marriage to Jason was a mistake, and that she regrets ever getting married in the first place.

“In my marriage, I made a mistake. It is what it is,” she said. “I made the wrong choice. But I do have my daughter, who is so beautiful and amazing in every way.”

Bethenny said that she was devastated when her marriage to Jason turned sour, and she hit a dark and low point with self- reflection.

“All the things that I’ve tried to resolve in therapy and get past from my childhood reared their ugly head in my marriage. My marriage made me feel like I was a bad person, like I was damaged, I was dysfunctional, I was never going to be happy,” Bethenny said.

“But I don’t believe that to be true. Yet there I was in a relationship that made me feel that way.”

Multiple sources tell us that the “Bethenny will fight any gag order. She wants to be the victim, and she can’t do that if she can’t talk!”

Bethenny needs to keep talking about Jason so that she gets press. This is how she makes a living, by making people interested in her train wreck of a personal life. So Jason is talking about Bethenny to Radar, but he’s doing it off the record, which is smart. This reminds me of how Gabriel Aubry attempted to handle his custody battle with Halle Berry, and was ultimately triumphant.

I have to mention some great quotes in an earlier story on Radar, in which they claimed that Jason was “taking the high road” and “refusing to publicly bash” Bethenny. They quote sources who say that Bethenny “is having a temper tantrum because Jason isn’t giving in to her demands, and she wants him to give up custody of their daughter, and move out of their Tribeca loft. There is no way Jason would allow Bethenny to have full custody of Bryn without a dog fight in court. Jason gave their marriage 100% and was always very supportive of Bethenny. She is going to end up a bitter old lonely woman, just like her mother, whom she loathes and despises.” Jason may not be publicly bashing Bethenny, but he sure doesn’t mind doing it through a “source.”

Denise Richards has been caring for her ex husband, Charlie Sheen’s twin four year-old sons, Max and Bob, while their mother, Brooke Mueller, is in rehab for a reported crystal meth addiction. Brooke was put on a 5150 psychiatric hold a little over a week ago. She went missing for a couple of days afterwards and then went off to rehab. This is Brooke’s 20th stint in rehab, and she made the genius decision to go to the Betty Ford Center because she wanted to hang out with Lindsay Lohan.

Denise is a single mom with five kids at home under 10, but she’s not doing it for the money. She already makes a whopping $55,000 a month from Charlie in child support for their two daughters together, Sam, 9, and Lola, 7. (Denise also has an adopted daughter who is two.) Charlie reportedly offered her more money for caring for the twins and Denise turned him down! She did accept an offer to use his private plane to fly from New York to LA so she could see the kids on Mother’s Day. The kids were spotted out with Denise’s dad, who was presumably caring for them (along with a nanny) while Denise was away.

Meanwhile Brooke is squandering the $55,000 a month she makes from Charlie, she has no money saved at all and she’s afraid that her child support will get cut off now that Denise has temporary custody. She tried to strip guardianship from Denise and give it to her brother so that she can still draw checks from Charlie. Methhead logic. Thankfully this plan failed and the judge upheld the ruling that Denise has temporary guardianship.

Charlie isn’t about to cut Brooke off, and he probably didn’t think that her drug use was a problem until it got so bad she had to be put on a psychiatric hold. TMZ came out yesterday with more details about Brooke’s involuntary hospitalization. They claim that cops were called after she assaulted a man at her house and that she was ranting and raving about Charlie’s connections to the mafia, claiming she would bring him down. Their sources state that she was hopped up on Adderall, but I tend to believe Radar’s reports that she’s a meth addict. Charlie should call Brooke’s bluff and stop the money flowing, but I doubt that will keep her from using.

Oh and Radar reports that Brooke went to rehab twice for crystal meth addiction while she was pregnant with the twins. We’ve heard rumors about that in the past and it’s not surprising.

We heard last week that Brooke Mueller’s four year-old twins, sons Max and Bob, had been taken away by social workers following Brooke’s involuntary hospitalization for drug use. Max and Bob were placed under the temporary care of Denise Richards, the first ex-wife of their dad, Charlie Sheen. Denise has cared for the boys in the past but apparently they were with their mom when she got deep into drugs this time. Brooke was reportedly a crystal meth addict, although her rep only admitted that she was addicted to “prescription drugs” when she checked into rehab this time.

Yesterday Denise and Charlie attended an emergency custody hearing to review the boys’ placement. The judge agreed that they should stay with Denise, who is already a single mom to three daughters under 10. Their dad Charlie has agreed that the best place for the boys is with Denise, and the judge upheld that. He also read a “shocking report about conditions in Brooke Mueller’s home.” No news outlets have details of that report, but we can imagine how bad it was if Brooke was high on crystal meth all the time. There may be a reason that we aren’t getting specifics. Radar reports that the judge issued a gag order so that none of the parties leaks information to the press.

A judge overseeing the custody battle for Charlie Sheen and ex-wife Brooke Mueller‘s twins issued a gag order Tuesday preventing them from discussing the case, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Lawyers for all sides were in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday for an emergency hearing — Charlie and Denise Richards, the boys’ temporary guardian, showed up too — in the wake of Brooke, 35, being placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold and later checking into rehab to deal with her drug addiction.

The court reportedly maintained status quo, ordering that Bob and Max, 4, remain with Denise and her two daughters with the Anger Management star — Sam, 9, and Lola, 7 — as well as a third daughter she adopted on her own in 2011, Eloise, who is almost two years old.

But a source said: “The judge ordered no comment to anyone from everyone involved in the case.”

Late last week, Sheen went public with a statement declaring his support of the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services who removed Bob and Max from their mother’s home late on Thursday.

“Charlie supports the actions of the Department of Children and Family Services,” the star’s publicist said.

“He knows Max and Bob are safe and in a stable, loving environment with Denise and the boys’s sisters. Charlie will fully cooperate and fully participate in all proceedings.”

Radar has had direct statements from Charlie in the past, so they’re probably getting this information from him. It was a smart move by that judge, he probably realizes whom he’s dealing with. It’s just sad that these boys had to see their mother like that, but at least a responsible person close to them stepped up when it was needed. It’s not like Charlie could have cared for his sons with the help of his goddesses of the month, ordered from the “Barely Legal” film franchise. He knows he’s not equipped to be a full time dad. That’s more than you can say for Brooke.

Last week we heard that Charlie Sheen’s ex wife, Brooke Mueller, had her four year-old twin boys taken away by child protective services. We didn’t report it because I assumed the boys were being cared for by Charlie’s other ex, Denise Richards, for some time and that it was just a formality. Brooke has been a drugged-out mess for years, and she’s been in and out of rehab while relatives have been watching her kids. It sounds like the boys were still with Brooke though, and it was reported that social workers had to step in to formally remove them and place them in Denise’s care. Denise has been appointed a temporary guardian, which Charlie says was the right decision. (I would say who cares what Charlie thinks, but he’s their dad. His goddesses were probably better babysitters than Brooke.)

It turns out there was a lot of drama behind the scenes. According to Radar Online, Brooke lost custody of the twins after she was placed on an involuntary 5150 psychiatric hold at UCLA medical center. She was strung out on crystal meth when they took her in. She refused to stay past the two days they were legally allowed to hold her and then she went missing, turning off her cell phone so her friends and family had no way to contact her. She finally checked into some kind of treatment, and it sounds like she’s going to get short term treatment for detox and then will transition into a residential rehab. She’s done that several times in the past and we’ve seen how well that’s worked out for her. Here’s more:

“Brooke was released from the hold last week but she made the decision that it’s in her best interests to seek treatment for her drug addiction at UCLA, at least, in the short term,” a source close to the troubled socialite revealed.

“The plan is for Brooke to stabilize and then she’ll move to to another treatment facility soon.”
Added the source: “It was Brooke’s sole decision to check back into UCLA.”

In a statement, a rep for Mueller, said she’ll “likely transition directly into a residential treatment facility to get help for prescription drug abuse.”

“Brooke misses her children and wants to get healthy so she can resume her life and get back to being a mom,” Steve Honig added.

Well I hope it sticks this time for her, but she keeps relapsing hard. Meanwhile the boys will stay with Denise for some time.

DCFS had been investigating and monitoring Brooke Mueller’s care of her twins for at least four months. An investigation was opened because of her ongoing alleged drug use around the boys, and her inability to care for them,” the source tells us.

“The boys will stay with Denise for the foreseeable future, and social workers just won’t hand the boys over to Brooke if she finally decides to get help. Brooke is going to have to jump through hoops just to get supervised visitation with the boys. Brooke was given every opportunity to clean up her act to avoid this, but she is just lost to the disease at this point.

“Denise has told social workers that the boys can stay with her for as long as necessary. She has stepped up big time and the social workers are amazed at the love she has for the boys,” the source reveals.

Denise is now a single mom to five kids! She surely has help since she gets a lot of cash from Charlie still, but that’s so much for one person to take on. She has daughters Sam, 8, Lola, who turns 7 next month, and she adopted daughter Eloise about two years ago. Charlie is so lucky that Denise is watching his boys. She’s proven herself over and over again since their divorce.

This week’s Star Magazine had some quotes from Jon Gosselin bitching about his financial situation due to his hefty child support payments, which were $22,000 a month the last I heard. Jon had a job working construction last year, but I doubt he’s worked steadily and he’s obviously hurting. He told Star that he was afraid he might get sent to jail for failing to pay child support:

“I can’t afford to pay my rent, and the domestic-relations staff tell me they will put me in jail unless I pay child support. I am a single father who’s trying to make ends meet during a recession. What do I do – pay child support or rent? I need to support my kids, but I could lose my house, and I need my home to continue to have custody.

“I’m doing the best I can. But life is so expensive with eight kids!”

Jon also had a few choice words about Kate’s ambitions to star in a reality dating show. “I think this is completely ridiculous! We have eight children, and they need us. She is putting reality TV and dating in front of the kids. I know I have a lot to be thankful for, but Kate’s need to be famous is not one of them.”

Poor Jon, he’s just such a victim. Meanwhile Kate is making it clear that Jon doesn’t even have to pay child support any longer. Her lawyer issued a statement that Kate dropped the requirements for support in April:

“I read Jon’s statement on RadarOnline.com and was quite surprised to read that he claims to be struggling to keep his child support payments current. As of April 27, 2012, Kate voluntarily relieved Jon of all current and future child support obligations for their eight children,” she said.

“Kate and Jon talked and worked through all of these issues and she withdrew the child support.

“Currently, he is only paying a small amount on arrears for support that was not paid prior to the April date when she dropped support. Those payments will soon end meaning that Kate is the sole supporter of the parties’ children.

“The last thing Kate ever wanted was for the children to see their father in dire financial straits.”

So Jon is broke from paying past child support, and even after Kate had it waived he went crying to Star about it. I’m not on Kate’s side at all, I just think it’s about time both of them realized that they’re no longer famous, and they’re no longer pulling in the big bucks. It’s time to downsize instead of trying to squeeze another fifteen minutes out of the fame that’s long since passed.

The insane amount of details and breaking news on the Jackson family saga has been calming down now that Katherine Jackson has been returned to her grandchildren. It’s of course still not over. We’ve heard Katherine, 82, say that she wasn’t kidnapped by four of her adult children, and that she went to Arizona on her own accord. While Katherine read this statement to ABC news she was surrounded by four people and the single journalist who was there wasn’t allowed to ask a single question. TMZ described it as a “hostage situation.”

Now we’re hearing from Michael’s oldest child, Prince, 15. Prince backs up his sister Paris’ version of events, and even tweeted a screenshot of a text message conversation with three of his aunts to prove that he and his siblings were blocked from contacting his grandmother. Here’s what he wrote on Twitter, and I was impressed by how well written it was:

I would first like to start off this tweet by thanking the fans that have always stood by me and my family, my dad really appreciated your support and I still treasure it to this day. As I am sure everyone is well aware of the events that have been going on. I have been holding off on backing up my sister and her tweets avidly because I was waiting for the time to reveal my side. As long as I can remember my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways. Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realized how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I’m really angry and hurt. The following image is of a group chat I had started to several family members. This group text message I had started was replied to but they didn’t know that I could see the responses. For this whole time, they denied us contact to our grandmother. “If you continue with your lies I will continue with the truth”

There was a story that Prince’s Twitter account was “hacked” to post this message, but Paris claimed on Twitter that this tweet from Prince is genuine, and that the message claiming he was hacked was actually someone with unauthorized access trying to discredit him. She wrote:

“the thing my brother tweeted last night was the last true thing he tweeted.. he was hacked saying what we tweeted was false..”

These poor kids.

There’s of course a lot of other news in this case, and I’ll briefly include it here. A staff member for the Miraval resort where Katherine Jackson was staying last week has issued a statement claiming that she had full access to a working phone at all times. It looked to me like they comped part of her stay in exchange for the free publicity. (Their PR person was with them during Katherine’s statement and Katherine mentioned their name several times.) They probably realized that the circumstances made them look complicit in cutting Katherine off from the outside world.

Katherine is said to have had an “emotional reunion” with the kids with the youngest child, Blanket, 10, “especially traumatized by Katherine leaving because he is extremely close to her and was absolutely lost without her.” She’s since met with her lawyer about working to have her guardianship of the children reinstated after it was temporarily awarded to their cousin, TJ, in her absence. Katherine’s lawyer also denied reports that she suffered a stroke.

So what’s next for this incredibly dysfunctional family? How is Katherine going to serve as an effective guardian for the children when she seems to be so easily controlled by the faction of Jacksons working to take over Michael’s estate? Will safeguards be put in place to ensure that the kids aren’t separated from her again? It sounds like they’re trying to make sure that happens, but this lady is 82. She’s not going to be able to watch those kids forever. Hopefully she’ll be able to care for them until Prince is 18 and can legally stand on his own. We’ve seen that those kids definitely have the wherewithal to stand up to their greedy aunts and uncles.

After I wrote this story, the news broke that La Toya, the one sibling of Michael Jackson’s who had yet to take sides, has told TMZ off the record that she wants her family to work out their issues in private and not through the press. Who would have thought that La Toya would be the sane one?

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry had another hearing in their custody case yesterday following a battery and child endangerment allegation against Aubry. Halle previously tried to block Gabriel from all contact with their nearly four year-old daughter, Nahla, until the investigation is complete. According to a new report on Radar, she’s now backed down slightly and is requesting supervised visitation. (I assumed that a previous supervised visitation order was still in place, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.) In an earlier court appearance for Halle and Gabriel, the judge put off making a decision until the sitting judge, who is familiar with this case, returned from vacation. Well the original judge is back now and according to TMZ he didn’t make a ruling yesterday and needs more time, and an additional hearing, to sort it all out. Child and Family Services has interviewed both Halle and Gabriel separately and together and is reportedly suggesting that Gabriel attend anger management classes, that Halle get counseling, and that both of them take parenting classes together. They’re also recommending counseling for Nahla. Here’s TMZ’s take on what happened, since their coverage is brief and they aren’t being fed details by Gabriel’s team like Radar.

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have been urged to get some serious counseling for the benefit of Nahla, but their marathon court hearing today was contentious and largely unproductive … law enforcement sources connected with the case tell TMZ.

We’ve learned the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services submitted more than a dozen recommendations to the judge, including mediation … in which a 3rd party would sit with Halle and Gabriel and try to figure out how they can peacefully raise their child. We’re told Halle was receptive but Gabriel wasn’t.

And our sources say … Halle agreed to continue her individual counseling, which will help her deal with what has become an impossible situation.

As for Gabriel, he’s agreed to counseling for his anger issues.

And, as we first reported, both parties agreed today to send 3-year-old Nahla to counseling.

We’re told the judge did not make any decision on the fate of the nanny, whom Gabriel wants fired.

And the judge hasn’t ruled on Halle’s request to keep Gabriel from Nahla until the child endangerment investigation runs its course.

Sources say Gabriel has objected to most of the recommendations and the judge is on the verge of holding a full hearing — similar to a trial — so he can firmly call the shots.

I’m firmly team Nahla as both of her parents seem unable to reach an amicable co-parenting agreement. I think that Halle vilifies her exes and that Gabriel is responding by lashing out and is playing right into her hands. Prior to this whole fiasco I would be on his side, but the details he’s been leaking to Radar make him sound like an a**hole who is definitely capable of pushing and screaming at the nanny. Incidentally, Radar is also reporting that Halle has been paying Gabriel’s legal fees, as is supposedly standard when one party in a custody agreement makes vastly more than the other.

Also, Halle and her new man, Oliver Martinez, staged some “happy family” beach photos over the weekend with Oliver kissing Nahla. Multiple agencies have these photos so you know they were prearranged to present an image of Halle as a more capable parent and of Oliver as some kind of would-be stepfather. This is how Halle uses the paparazzi that she professes to hate. How would Halle react if Gabriel did that to her? She was reportedly livid when he even dared to go on a date with Kim Kardashian. How petty she is. This is a J.Lo move, except J.Lo is much more publicly civil towards, and gracious about, her ex.

Halle has a cast on her foot, which is probably related to breaking it last September. She’s also wearing what looks to be an engagement ring, although she’s often worn a ring on that hand and reports vary as to whether it’s official. She hasn’t made an official announcement, and all we heard so far is a tweet from Oliver’s ex, Kylie Minogue, congratulating them.

We’ve heard plenty of stories that Jennifer Lopez’s estranged husband Marc Anthony doesn’t want her 24 year-old boyfriend, Casper Smart, around their nearly four year-old twins. There were photos of Casper horsing around with the twins while on vacation in Hawaii that were said to particularly enrage Marc. We’ve also heard that Marc refuses to let Casper, who Was convicted of drag racing, drive with his kids in the car. Well if this latest story is true it obviously bugs Marc more than all of that. The twins supposedly call Casper “Daddy Casper” even when he’s not around. You would think that “hermano” would be a more natural name for him.

Marc Anthony exploded in a fit of rage after his kids called Jennifer Lopez’s much-younger new boyfriend “Daddy”!

While staying with their famous father recently, Marc and Jennifer’s 3-year-old twins, Emme and Max, referred to J.Lo’s 24-year-old backup dancer beau, Casper Smart, as “Daddy Casper,” say sources. An enraged Marc immediately called Jennifer and blasted her, telling her that if she didn’t fix the situation pronto, he was going to let the kids call his new girlfriend, 24-year-old Venezuelan model Shannon De Lima, “Mommy Shannon”!…

“Marc mockingly told Jennifer that if Casper wants to be called ‘Daddy,’ he needs to start acting like it and pay some of their children’s expenses instead of just sponging off of her!

“Jennifer freaked out and told Marc he was childish, but she promised to correct the situation.”

Kids that age often get names confused. This probably pisses off Marc immensely, but that doesn’t mean the kids actually think of Casper as their dad. My son sometimes accidentally calls me “grandma” right after he’s been hanging out with her. When he was around Lopez’s twins’ age, he called an older man who was babysitting him “opa” (grandpa in German) because he didn’t know what else to call him. I explained it to him later. The thing that makes the difference, though, is that Casper and Jennifer encourage the kids to call him “Daddy Casper.” Jennifer has only been going out with that man child a few weeks. She shouldn’t have even introduced him to her kids yet, and having them call him “daddy” is just ridiculous. Marc has every right to be upset, but he’s as much of an ass as J.Lo if he retaliates by having them call his latest girlfriend “mommy.”

The last we heard about Marc Anthony, he was dating a young model type and posting photos of them together on Facebook. It was just as obvious a move as all the paparazzi photo ops that J.Lo has been staging with her much younger, facially challenged boyfriend, backup dancer Casper Smart, only J.Lo started it first. Well Marc and Jennifer aren’t getting along at this point, and they’re fighting over custody of their nearly four year-old twins. Radar has the news that Marc sniped at Jennifer that she needed to see a psychiatrist because she’s incapable of being alone.

The former couple had yet another fight over the weekend, with Marc complaining that he wanted to see their toddler twins more frequently.

“As always with things between Jen and Marc recently, the conversation quickly turned heated,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “Jen said Marc wasn’t being attentive enough as their father, and Marc scoffed at that remark and said she was always changing her travel plans with the children at the last minute.

“The real source of Marc’s anger is Jen’s relationship with back-up dancer, Casper Smart. Jen is VERY serious about him, and it makes Marc extremely jealous. Marc told Jen that she [should] see a psychiatrist to deal with her issues to figure out why she always needs a man in her life. Remember, Jen and Ben [Affleck] had just broken up when she got hot and heavy with Marc. Jen’s relationship with Marc was the longest relationship she ever had with anyone, about seven and a half years.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Marc is now dating sexy Venezuelan model Shannon de Lima and the two have been Tweeting up a love storm to each other. Marc wrote in Spanish to Shannon “To my @Shadelima my statue of liberty. Kisses, baby.”

The Latin crooner has told JLo though that her boyfriend, who has been arrested for drag racing and had warrants out for his arrest, is banned from driving their toddler twins, anywhere.

Even though Marc and Jennifer haven’t formally filed for divorce yet, the Latin superstar told the American Idol judge he would take legal action if she went against his instructions.

“This wasn’t a threat that Marc gave Jen. He will go straight to family court if he needs to get a judge involved to make sure Casper doesn’t get behind the wheel with his kids in the car,” the insider says.

Smart formally pleaded no contest last week to exhibition of speeding, and was sentenced to one year probation, and was ordered to pay a $500 fine.

I agree with Marc that a guy who was convicted of drag racing should not be driving with his kids in the car. Other than that he just sounds jealous. This “you need to see a psychiatrist” dig is the oldest line in the book. When a current or ex partner isn’t behaving in a way the other one wants (or when they want out) they often pull that “something’s wrong with you, you need to get professional help” line. It’s an easy way to place blame on the other person. In J.Lo’s case she may benefit from talking to someone about her need to be in a relationship, but I think she’s just sowing her oats and trying to feel sexy after being committed to one guy for the longest stretch in her life. When men do it, it’s normal, when women do it they’re crazy and need help. Gah I can’t believe I’m defending J.Lo. If she does end up marrying baby douche face, then I’ll concede that I was wrong and that she should have sought some kind of help.
