A few weeks ago, Holly Madison gave birth to her first child, a baby girl she named Rainbow Aurora Rotella. As in, Rainbow Rotella. Holly heard that people were making fun of her baby name, and she basically told everybody to STFU and leave her hippie/raver baby name alone. Anyway, Holly decided to sell/give Rainbow’s first photos to In Touch Weekly in this week’s issue. I’m assuming Holly sold the first photo, but I’m also assuming the photo didn’t sell for that much. This isn’t a Jolie-Pitt baby, you know! Maybe $50,000-80,000, I’m guessing? The photo is pretty tasteful, I guess. It’s a lot of PINK, but I think a lot of new moms do that, and I bet Holly is so jazzed to have a little girl. Holly also sat down for her first postpartum interview with ITW:

Just seven days after Holly Madison gave birth to her first baby, the former Playmate opens her home only to In Touch to introduce daughter Rainbow Aurora to the world.

“Just holding her is so much fun,” Holly gushes in the new issue of In Touch, on newsstands now. “Even the delivery was easy — I was actually laughing as I was pushing!”

The 33-year-old star delivered her 7-pound, 2-ounce beauty, whose father is boyfriend Pasquale Rotella, on March 5. “I had an epidural, so it was fun. She made it easy on me. It was crazy when she came out, though – she was dark and covered in blood. It looked like she’d made a zombie escape!”

Holly tells In Touch that Rainbow’s unusual moniker comes from a former schoolmate. “I was always envious of her name!” explains the new mom, who ignores the jabs — including those who have sniped that it sounds stripper-esque. “If getting teased about her name is the worst thing that’s going to happen to her,” says Holly, “bring it on.”

For now, the star and Pasquale are blissfully enjoying everything about parenthood — sleepless nights and all. “Like all babies, she has her moments. But I’m so in awe of her that I even think her screams are cute!”

In fact, she’s already making plans to expand her brood. “We want Rainbow to have lots of brothers and sisters. I’d love to have six!”

Bless her for saying outright that she had an epidural. I was prepared to roll my eyes at “I was actually laughing as I was pushing” but the epidural makes more sense. She was high as a kite! Apparently, Holly also talked about her plans for “losing the baby weight” because of course new mothers love to talk about this stuff two seconds after they gave birth. Holly tells the mag, “We’re putting a gym in our house, so I’ll be doing yoga, Pilates, and cardio” and she plans to diet with green smoothies, coconut yogurt (that sounds good) and veggie stews. She says she gained 40 pounds while pregnant, which sounds fine, and I bet she would lose it all naturally by breastfeeding anyway, but postpartum weight loss is a billion dollar industry and don’t you know every woman is supposed to hate herself for not keeping it “tight” two seconds after giving birth?

Last week, Holly Madison gave birth to a baby girl. The father is Pasquale Rotella, who seems like some kind of shady Las Vegas type, and I think Pasquale is under indictment currently or something. Still, Holly has always wanted a baby, and I was happy for her. I didn’t write about it because I was waiting to see what she named her baby girl. And she announced it on Friday, and it’s a doozy – Rainbow Aurora Rotella. It seems like a super-hippie name, while at the same time it seems kind of immature, like what a 5-year-old dreams of naming a baby. Like, “I’ll name my daughter Princess Sparkle Glitter! Or Rainbow Pony!” Well, Holly heard that people were shading her baby name and she took to her Celebuzz blog to call us all “smug haters”.

I have always loved the name Rainbow. There was a girl in my school a few years younger than me named Rainbow and I was so envious of her name because it was so pretty and unusual. She was a perfectly normal, well-adjusted, sporty girl, by the way, so I’m not worried about my daughter being “traumatized” by having an unusual name.

There are a lot of smug haters out there who bag on my choice of a name, but I don’t care about what they think. I want my daughter to be proud of who she is and learn to speak up and stand up for herself at a young age. I spent most of my life being a people-pleaser who worried about what other people thought or thought was cool and I don’t want that for her.

I couldn’t be more blessed to have such a perfect daughter and have never been happier than I am now!

Holly actually has a point. Rainbow Aurora is probably going to be a class full of Isabellas, Bellas, Emmas, Madisons, Emilys, Harpers, Sophias, Lilys, Mias, and Chloes. Rainbow probably will be one of the few Rainbows out there, and she’ll have to defend her hippie name often enough. I would imagine that at some point in her childhood, she’s going to ask everyone to start calling her “Rain Rotella”. And that’s actually kind of cute.

I know it seems like “Knocked Up C-Listers” Day around here, but this news made me really happy. Hugh Hefner’s former girlfriend and former ‘Girl Next Door’ Holly Madison is pregnant! I always liked Holly the best out of all of the ‘Girls Next Door’. Go ahead and yell at me for even caring enough to have a “favorite”, but there it is. Holly was the “smart one,” the one that Hef should have married when he had the chance. Since leaving the Mansion, Holly has been in Las Vegas, working her own burlesque show, and she’s been quietly dating a “party promoter” named Pasquale Rotella. And now they’re pregnant!

Holly Madison is going to be a mom! The former Girls Next Door star and Playboy Playmate tells the new Us Weekly, out now, that she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend of nine months, party promoter Pasquale Rotella, 38.

“I’ve always wanted to be a mom,” Madison, 33, tells Us. “But I thought it would take longer!”

So far, the thrilled mom-to-be, who is now 12 weeks along, is feeling good in her pregnancy.

“I’ve been lucky! No morning sickness, but I do get a little nauseous,” the star of Las Vegas burlesque revue, Peepshow, says. “It happens before my show, so I keep ginger ale backstage.”

Is it just me or did Holly stop lying about her age? I seem to remember something about Holly insisting that she was something like 25 or 26 just a few years ago. Now she’s like, “Screw it, I’m 33 years old. I’ll stop lying.” Anyway, congrats to Holly. I’m glad she found someone closer in age, and someone who wants the same things (pregnancy, maybe a wedding too).

Holly Madison has insured her fake boobs for $1 million with the insurance company Lloyd’s of London, which regularly insures celebrity body parts. Holly stars in a Vegas semi-nude revue at Planet Hollywood called Peepshow, for which she’s in lingerie for most of the show and goes topless at some point. She explained to People Magazine that if something happened to her boobs it would put her out of commission for a few months and end up costing her. What about her legs? She’s working a pole and strutting around in heels on stage, so doesn’t it make more sense that she’d insure something that was more likely to bust?

Holly Madison is doing what’s in her breast, er best, interest.

The reality star recently took out a $1 million insurance policy on her breasts with Lloyd’s of London insurance company, she confirmed to PEOPLE exclusively.

Madison, 31, said she did it to protect herself and others who appear in her Las Vegas production, Peepshow.

“I’ve heard about people getting body parts insured and I thought, why not?, because if anything happened to my boobs, I’d be out for a few months and I’d probably be out a million dollars,” she said. “I thought I’d cover my assets.”

Literally.

Madison appears topless during segments of the Vegas show, which, in her mind, made the insurance policy necessary. She also comprehends the quirkiness of it all.

“I think it’s kind of funny. I think they’re getting the credit they deserve,” she said. “They’re my primary money makers right now.”

This is a publicity stunt for her show, and we’re talking about it so it’s working. Lloyd’s of London legitimately insures celebrity body parts when they’re used in ad campaigns (i.e. legs for a shaving commercial, teeth when it’s a toothpaste campaign), but this is ridiculous. What happens if Holly sprains an ankle or falls on her face and busts her nose job? Is Lloyds going to deny her claim and say “sorry, your boobs are fine?” Maybe the show has insurance for that, and she wanted a little extra in the form of boob disability. Please smack me for spending so long contemplating this. I’ve probably spent more time thinking about it than Holly did.

When Crystal Harris dumped Hugh Hefner a few days before their June wedding she gave the excuse that she wasn’t the only woman in his life, saying he “doesn’t live a normal lifestyle, there’s women around all the time… I was not the only woman.” Only according to Hef that’s just not true and Crystal was down with other women and more than aware of the situation before they were set to be married. In an interview with Piers Morgan last week, Hef revealed that Crystal “loved the girls,” according to his perspective. He also very carefully suggested she was cheating on him, and expressed regret for letting his last girlfriend, Holly Madison, go.

On Crystal’s statement that she left because of other women
Most of what she has said publicly is not true. And is clearly not what is really going on. And what her reaction was all about. She loved the lifestyle. She loved the girls. So, you know.

On why Crystal left
I think there is at least one other guy in the picture. I think there’s something more we don’t know. And I think that maybe as she got — I think that the career was more important to her than she let on.

Why he was willing to marry her – because he lost his chance with Holly
I think that’s a very valid question. I think quite frankly now, the day after, I’m asking myself the same thing. You know. Where was my head? I did it — I made the commitment, quite frankly, because I felt that I had — in a previous relationship with Holly not been there for her in the way that she wanted me to be.

On if Crystal took him for a ride
I think an argument could be made that she took me for a ride. But I must say, quite frankly, it was a pretty nice ride.

It was 2 1/2 very good years. And if she was faking it, she did it very well. She certainly convinced me that she was — I wouldn’t even kind of play at the possibility of marriage if I didn’t think that she was really, really committed to me. So, you know. If she was fooling, and a good case can be made that she was, she did a very good job.

On how Crystal got the Bentley, the ring and a little cash
Well, she asked for a Bentley right before we split. So she got the car. She got the ring. She didn’t have to get it. You know….

The ring was I would say around $60,000, $70,000. But to her credit, we had a dog. Have a dog. Charlie. And I love the dog. She brought it back. And felt that I missed it more than she did.

On if he gave Crystal cash
A little but not a great deal. Yes. As I say, she would have gotten a good deal more if she’d gotten married.

Hef also revealed that after Crystal told him she didn’t want to get married he said that was fine and they could still stay together. Instead of telling him that she wanted to leave she snuck out with her stuff while he was watching a movie. Hef got choked up retelling this part. He was pretty nice about everything and could have put in a few digs at Crystal but he just kind of told it like it happened.

E! News has more on Crystal and Hef’s “runaway bride” special to air on Lifetime tomorrow, July 19th, which was originally going to be their wedding special. In the preview clip on E! (spoilers I guess, that’s below) Holly and Kendra visit Hef to comfort him after the breakup. He tells Holly “I think I screwed up with us.” From Holly’s body language, I think it’s safe to assume that ship has passed. Holly wouldn’t have ditched Hef at the altar, but she probably would have divorced him after a few years. She wanted children badly and when that didn’t happen for her she left. Plus it’s not like Hef is pining for Holly. He already has two bottle blonde replacement girlfriends, Anna Berglund and Shera Bechard, and showed them both off on CNN.

In really predictable news, Hugh Hefner is allegedly telling his friends that he should have manned up and proposed to Holly when he had the chance. He was of course dumped by “24″ year-old Crystal Harris just a few days before his wedding was set to take place last weekend. It’s not clear if Holly would have married Hef back when they were together. She was open about hoping to have Hef’s children and admitted to funding her own fertility treatments in a futile attempt to get pregnant with his baby. It’s too late now anyway, Holly has moved on to her own career filming a reality show and getting paid for Vegas appearances and she’s dating a guy who is presumably young enough to have swimmable sperm.

Hugh Hefner, 85, is pining for his ex-flame now that his engagement to much younger girlfriend Crystal Harris, 26, has been called off. She got cold feet just days before her $1 million wedding to the eternal playboy!

Earlier this year, former Playboy Playmate Holly Madison, 32, expressed her concern for Hef to Life & Style magazine, worrying that Crystal was “using him to start her career.” After she heard the engagement was called off, Holly went straight to the Playboy mansion to give Hef her support.

While she’s happy to be a shoulder to lean on, sources close to the reality star insist that she and Hef will never rekindle their romance, explaining, “That chapter of her life is closed.” Holly is now dating the managing partner of XS nightclub in Las Vegas, Jesse Waits.

So sad for Hef — he’s reportedly been telling people, “I should’ve married Holly.”

He should have married Holly, but Holly actually was there for him and wasn’t using him like Crystal was. He wasn’t that interested in a woman who would have stood by him and cared for him when he inevitably got sick, and he picked the fickle one who ended up leaving him. He got what he deserved in the end.

Last week Crystal did an interview with Entertainment Tonight which was aired in two parts. We covered the first part of the interview, where she basically said Hugh was cheating on her, but didn’t own up to her long running affair with Dr. Phil’s son. I actually wanted to cover the second part but forgot about it until it was too late – she was bitching about her curfew under Hef and basically confirmed the strict schedule he has his concubines on. Several other paid guests at the mansion have confirmed this account – the girls had to be back home for curfew and they had to show up for movie nights on the weekend. They were getting paid a thousand dollars a week cash, they got free room and board and a clothing and plastic surgery allowance yet they still bitched about their curfew. It’s like they didn’t want to show up for work.

As for what Crystal will do next, she tells ET she has “no idea,” but she did show up to host a pool party in Vegas over the weekend. She better not be trying to launch a career there or Holly will cut a bitch.

I wasn’t aware that Holly Madison had been “slammed” for her weight, but apparently that happened. So Holly decided to fight back and do a photo shoot with Life & Style, and she’s showing off her body without any Photoshop or retouching. CB and I think she looks good – but both of us always thought Holly was the prettiest of Hef’s former girlfriends. She does have a pretty face, and it would be nice to see it without the drag queen makeup. But doing a photo shoot without retouching is a good first step.

After being slammed for gaining weight, Holly’s World star Holly Madison bravely shows of her curvy body – flaws and all – for an exclusive unretouched photo shoot with Life & Style.

“I’d rather be overweight and curvy than super thin with no curves,” Holly, 32, exclusively tells Life & Style at the photo shoot on Feb 21. “I’m proud of my body.”

For good reason: Holly has a figure most women would envy. And yet, Holly isn’t afraid to admit that her small stature doesn’t exempt her from what haunts millions: cellulite. “I have cellulite — and had it even when I was at my absolute thinnest,” she tells Life & Style. “I’m never not going to have cellulite. People need to just accept that it’s there and maybe dress accordingly or use body makeup to cope with it.”

Still, when Peepshow’s choreographer and director instructed Holly to shed weight — after she’d gained 15 pounds following her move to Sin City — she was hurt, she confesses. “Once I realized that other people were noticing that I’d packed on a few, I was embarrassed to go onstage,” she reveals. Making matters worse: her Holly’s World nemesis, model Jayde Nicole. “Holly needs to lose 10 pounds of fat,” Jayde, who once cattily sent Holly a basket full of candy when she knew her co-star was dieting, recently told Life & Style.

“After moving to Vegas, I lived in a suite in Planet Hollywood for a year and ordered room service all the time,” Holly says. “I like food too much to go on some crazy diet. French fries are my favorite downfall.” Holly also says she’s not willing to give up sweets but she has decided to make some healthy changes: Pilates classes and 20-minute runs, and mixing prepared meals from the Fresh Diet delivery service into her menu.

“I’ve always had a butt, and I want to keep it — cellulite and all. I’m not perfect, but I love my curves.” Holly tells Life & Style.

French fries are my downfall as well – if someone forced me to diet without candy or pastries or cakes, I would be fine. If someone forced me to diet without French fries or potato products, I would shoot myself in the face. As for Holly – I mean, what size do you really think she is? Like, a 6 or an 8? She’s not fat by any stretch of the imagination. She’s just not super-skinny.

Oh, and please, please, please, I would love it if no one said anything about “real women having curves” or, on the other side, how SOME people are just naturally skinny and how all of this is just so offensive to thin women. If you people start putting up your measurements, I will nut up.

Life & Style has a new interview with Holly Madison in which she doesn’t hold back with her thoughts about her ex Hugh Hefner’s engagement to 24 year-old Crystal Harris. Holly has previously shown some restraint when asked to comment on her octogenarian ex boyfriend’s engagement, saying in part that she was “very surprised” and “have a lot of different feelings on it.” Now Holly is opening up about her feelings and she’s clearly angry that she didn’t score an engagement from Hef after riding his Viagra gravy train for seven years. In September, 2008, back when Holly and Hef were still together, Hef said that he loved Holly, but added that “she wants very much to get married and have children. That isn’t very much in the cards for me.” Holly was pushing for a proposal their whole relationship, and spoke openly about her frustration that Hef had yet to propose. So it definitely comes as a surprise to her that Hef put a ring on the next, younger one to come along:

Holly Madison, shocked to find out about her ex-boyfriend Hue Hefner’s marriage proposal to Crystal Harris over Christmas, is now breaking her silence in the new issue of Life & Style—on newsstands now—warning Hef to reconsider.

“I’d like to see Hef settle down,” Holly told Life & Style during the exclusive interview on Jan. 6. “I just want it to be with the right person, and I feel like he’s making a hasty decision. I’m not sure Crystal is the best thing for him.”

While Crystal, 24, moved into the Playboy Mansion only in January 2009, Holly was Hef’s right hand for six years until the two split in October 2008. “Crystal hasn’t been around very long — she’s a mysterious character,” says Holly. “No one knows much about her. Plus, she’s very young, probably too young to settle down. I’ve seen a lot of girls try to date Hef, and some have ulterior motives. I don’t think it would be a bad idea for him to get to know her a little better. I think it’s possible Crystal could break Hef’s heart. They could end up divorcing, and she could take half his money.”

So she arranged a face-to-face with the duo on Jan. 5 to witness the duo’s supposed joy for herself. “I wanted to check up in person,” Holly says about of the emotional encounter, which was filmed for season two of her E! reality series, Holly’s World (premiering on Jan. 23). “I told them that I wish them the best and that Crystal had better not do him wrong or else I’ll kick her butt. It was definitely awkward.”

In the end, Holly just hopes Hef has indeed found his perfect match. “I’m not jealous that he’d marry someone else. I just don’t want it to be a girl who’s using him to start her career,” she tells Life & Style. “Basically, I think he could do better than Crystal.”

Speaking via her manager, Michael Blakey, Crystal told Life & Style, “I’ve never been happier in my life. I’m so excited to be marrying Hef.”

So Holly’s “not jealous” that Crystal scored an engagement from Hef after less than two years when she worked on him for seven with no success. She just thinks that Crystal has other motives and is using him. What were Holly’s motives then? Did she love Hef for his personality? I liked Holly on The Girls Next Door and I think she did love Hef and was better suited for him, given what little I know about Crystal, but she’s got some sour grapes going on. It’s not like Hef was going to take up with some woman half his age with her own career and ambitions. He’s a vehicle for these women and that’s why he’s able to score them so young. Holly may have loved Hef but she also loved what he could do for her.

Hefner recently re-purchased the majority share of Playboy, which is thought to indicate that he’s ready to leave the empire to his sons. Hopefully he’ll get an iron clad prenup with Crystal – if he ever does marry her.

Two of Hef’s last set of girlfriends, Kendra Wilkinson and Holly Madison, have responded to the news of his engagement to 24 year-old Crystal Harris. Kendra was more congratulatory, which makes sense considering that her arrangement with Hef was more business than anything serious. Holly said she was surprised and that she had a hard time saying anything about it as she was afraid it wouldn’t sound sincere. Holly was hoping to marry Hef herself, and even shelled out her own money for IVF treatments trying to get pregnant back when they were together. When Hef’s sperm just sat there and shrugged, Holly packed up and left, supposedly realizing that she wanted more out of life. She doesn’t sound completely at peace with the news that Hef is marrying the next one to come along.

She had to share Hugh Hefner with two other ladies, but Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett wasn’t shocked to hear that Hef had decided to get engaged to Playmate Crystal Harris.

“I’m not surprised,” Kendra told Marc Malkin of E! Online. And as Malkin reports, Wilkinson-Baskett though this might go down all the way back when Hefner divorced Kimberley Conrad in September, 2009 — Hefner and Conrad had been separated since 1998.

“And then I heard how much he loves Crystal and how he looks at her,” Kendra said. “You can just tell there’s a whole other meaning of love in him. I feel like she’s the girl for him.”

Kendra’s sentiments contrasted completely with those expressed by Holly Madison, who was at one time Hef’s number one girl.

“I’m very surprised,” Madison told Malkin. “I have a lot of different feelings on it. I don’t just feel one way. I kind of didn’t want to put a generic statement out there like ‘Congratulations!’ because I felt everyone would see through that.”

Madison left Hefner in 2008, when she found out he couldn’t have any more children at his advanced age.

“I want to be with somebody I can have more of a future with eventually. Hef and I can’t get married and have kids,” she said at the time “So it was fun while it lasted but it wasn’t right for my old age. I got too old for Hef.”

This dude is younger than Hef by about 20 years.

Back before Hugh Hefner hooked up with his latest 24 year-old coed main girlfriend (and those teen ex-felon twins that predictably bailed) he was with very slightly more age appropriate Holly Madison, who was 28 at the time of their breakup two years ago. (The other two girlfriends back then, Kendra and Bridget, went by the wayside too of course.) Holly later admitted that she was trying to get pregnant with Hef’s baby before she broke up with him, and that she had funded her own IVF treatments. Later Holly called Hef’s new girlfriends copycats, basically, and said she was worried that they would take advantage of him at a vulnerable time. As if her motives were pure.

It’s clear that Holly wanted more from Hef than just head cheerleader status, and that she left when she figured out he wasn’t going to propose to her. It’s not surprising to hear that Holly is super pissed that Hef got engaged to his latest piece, 24 year-old Crystal Harris, when she wasn’t able to score that ring with a lot of cajoling and fertility treatments.

Hef’s ex — longtime galpal Holly Madison of “Girls Next Door” TV show fame — is said to be very upset about the engagement announcement. She long tried to snare a proposal from Hefner herself.

“She can’t believe Crystal was able to get Hef to agree to something she had tried for so long,” said a source close to Hefner.

Even after Madison’s fling with magician Criss Angel — supposedly done to make Hefner jealous — and Hefner’s plea for her to come back to him, he still never proposed marriage or gave her a ring.

Does that mean if Hef proposed to Holly she would have come running back to him? It’s obvious that she wanted more financial security from the geezer than just free rent and an allowance.

The article also claims that Holly might not have much to worry about and that Hef may never marry Harris at all. Zwecker reports that “sources close to Hef tell me they doubt there will be a wedding,” but if there is the source says if the wedding does happen “‘That prenup will be tighter than Cher’s most recent facelift.’” You know an old dude said that. It’s rare that anyone less than two generations older than Harris would use Cher as a cultural reference.

Will it be worth it to Harry to marry a guy her great grandfather’s age in order to get a predetermined payout after four years? Probably. It’s not like she had a career or much education to speak of before she hooked up with Hef. Harris is ambitious, though. People reports that she’s starting a singing career and that she has a line of makeup coming out.
