AOL Moviefone has an online gallery of the “Top 25 Hookups on Set,” and while some of the actors were both single when they found solace in the arms of a co-star the examples are also full of notorious celebrity cheaters. We can all guess the couple named as number one. One of them was cheating probably and the other was widely blamed for it. Their film was ironically named “Mr. and Mrs. …” and although they became one of the most famous celebrity couples with a bunch of kids in a short period of time, they have yet to make it official. Given the many historical examples, these two won’t be the last or the most high profile. Workplace romances are common and often break up relationships.

Here are my favorite cheaters, with some examples from classic films. As much as Brad and Angelina are chastised now, it was much worse for the celebrities in the not-too-distant and more puritanical past. Thanks to AOL Moviefone for compiling the larger list of on-set hookups.

On-set romances involving non-cheaters include Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams on the set of “The Notebook” in 2004, Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams for “Brokeback Mountain” in 2005, and Matthew McConaughey and Penelope Cruz on 2005’s “Sahara.” The best examples of non-cheating celebrity on-set hookups that have stood the test of time are unmarried older couples Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, who met while doing “Swingshift” in 1984, and Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon who hooked up in 1988 while filming the hot baseball film “Bull Durham.”

Julia Roberts met her then-married future husband Danny Moder on the set of “The Mexican” in 2000. Modor was a cameraman not her co-star, though, so these two didn’t make the list.

Page Six has a story about OC star Kelly Rowan, who is pregnant with her first child at 42 by her fiance, who also happens to tbe the richest man in Canada and the 10th richest person in the world. That’s a nice story about a hot TV star landing a billionaire and having his child and all, only the guy was married with another baby on the way when Kelly entered the picture.

“The OC” hottie Kelly Rowan is “in the final weeks of her preg nancy,” says a Canadian spy, but is being forced to remain undercover in Montreal because her bil lionaire boyfriend, David Thomson, is “horrified of any publicity.” Thomson is Canada’s richest man and ranked by Forbes as the world’s 10th richest billionaire. He and Rowan are said to be getting married after the April delivery of their kid and, “while [stay ing out of public view] has proven very trying for Kelly, who loves the attention like any normal Hollywood celebrity, she’s willing to give in to her man for fear of ending the whole relation ship,” our source e-mailed. “But she’s just thrilled to have conceived at all in her 40s and to have snagged such a rich prize as Thomson.” Thomson left his second wife while she was pregnant with their first child for Rowan. He has three kids with his first wife.

They say he has a first wife too, so I naturally assumed he left his first wife for his second wife, whom he left for Rowan. The guy is richer than whole sections of the third world put together, you can’t blame Kelly for not worrying about the fact that he was married with a baby on the way when she met him. I’m sure he told her all about how his wife didn’t understand him as they shared gourmet meals in dimly-lit restaurants, quietly mulling over his situation. Neither of them can possibly be blamed for falling prey to a love that was too great to deny.

I’m going on about how this other woman was wronged, and that’s the assumption you might make. I did some googling and found a profile of David Thomson written in May, 2006. It described in incredible detail the many breakups and public problems he had with his second wife. They were estranged several times before she got pregnant in 2005 after fertility treatment at 44. It seems that the truth isn’t always as clear-cut as you might assume based on known details. Thomson didn’t leave his first wife for his second wife, either.

Ironically, there was a picture of Claire Danes next to this article for a section called “This week’s newsmakers.” Danes is considered the responsible party in the breakup of Billy Crudup and Mary Louis Parker. Crudup left Parker when she was seven month’s pregnant with his child for his co-star Danes.

Here’s Rowan with a Romulan Botox vein in January, 2007. Congratulations on her pregnancy and upcoming marriage. Her billionaire fiance wasn’t quite a bachelor when she met him, but he wasn’t in the most stable relationship, either. David Thomson is shown in a photo from Forbes.com, which lists his net worth as 22 billion dollars.

Apparently Sean Penn decided to end his marriage with a bang. So to speak. According to MSNBC and various media outlets, Penn had a threesome with two drunk Russian girls. He had gone on vacation with wife Robin Wright Penn right before Christmas, but had booked separate suites for each of them. So clearly things weren’t exactly cozy before all of this. Robin Wright hardly saw Penn on vacation, and was pissed that she was spending all her time alone. When she went to Penn’s room, she found him in bed with two drunk women. Penn supposedly didn’t care, and continued to party into the night.

Sean Penn was served with divorce papers by his wife Robin after the actress allegedly found him in bed with two other women. Magazine Star has revealed details of the couple’s last weekend together and claimed the Mystic River star was caught being unfaithful to his partner of 11 years.

The actors were reportedly staying at the Squaw Valley resort in Lake Tahoe, California, days before Christmas when the incident is said to have occurred, according to MSNBC.com. A source tells the publication, “Sean didn’t spend much time with his wife - he booked her a separate suite - and when Robin got fed up with being alone, she went over to his suite. (There, she) found him drunk with two Russian girls.”

Penn married Wright in 1996 and they have two children together, Dylan Frances, 16, and Hopper Jack, 14. Wright filed divorce papers in California on December 21, citing irreconcilable differences as a reason for the split. The couple are said to be seeking joint custody of their teenage kids.

There’s always been something about Sean Penn that I’ve found distasteful. I thought it was the constant sneer plastered across his face, but now I think it probably has more to do with the sleazebag, ignoring your wife, having sex with strangers thing. Something tells me the two have a prenup, but if they don’t this could get pretty messy for him.

Update by Celebitchy: The Star article doesn’t say that Robin found Sean in bed with two Russian woman, just that she found him drunk and hanging out with them in his room. The article is being misquoted:

The article goes on to say that Penn tried to order champagne from room service at 3 am and then had someone drive him to a 7-Eleven when there wasn’t room service available at that time. He then found that he wasn’t able to buy booze after 2 am. That hardly sounds like someone who’s having a threesome. If you’re busy having sex you’re not about to get antsy over not getting booze.

Britney Spears’ photographer boyfriend of the past couple of weeks is married, according to OK! Magazine, but that hasn’t stopped him from seeing more of her. He even spent New Year’s Eve with Britney, her boys and the court appointed monitor. I hope his wife has moved on by now if she had to spend New Year’s alone while her husband slept with one of his targets. OK! also reports that he was bragging about his night with Britney. Eww.

According to a source close to the Spears family, Britney, Adnan, who made headlines on Dec. 22 when he stayed overnight with the singer in her Beverly Hills hotel room, and her two boys, Sean Preston, 2, and 1-year-old Jayden James, are spending New Year’s Eve at a private beachfront residence near Dana Point, Calif. The source says they will also be joined by the court-appointed monitor who is responsible for overseeing all of the boys’ visits with their mom.

While Adnan recently told ABC’s 20/20 that he and Britney were only having “lunch” during their overnight visit, he’s telling a different story to his fellow shutterbugs. “He was bragging last week that the night he spent with her at the Peninsula was ‘the best night of his life,’” one insider reveals to OK!.

Now that Britney’s young sister is pregnant everyone is speculating that she’ll ratchet up the crazy in order to get more press in her time of need, but maybe this guy will help calm her down. She’s getting some much needed personal attention, and since that’s what she’s been crying out for it could be enough for her. Do you think this guy will last though? OK! says that he got Britney to leave a store by the front door just so he could get clearer pictures of her. She’s money to him, and he’ll probably sell her out faster than most once their “relationship” ends. He probably videotaped everything too.

X17 has the questionable text messages that Tony Parker supposedly sent French model Alexandra Paressant, who claims that she hooked up with the basketball player and husband of Eva Longoria for sex sessions at hotels after he was married. Paressant was possibly inventing her story for publicity, but she gets credit for making it funny as hell. She claimed that Parker was looking for a release outside his marriage because Eva Longoria doesn’t let him do certain things in the bathroom bedroom and that she “does not want to make love in front of a mirror, does not like [a] certain position and thinks that sperm gives acne.”

Paressant’s claims to X17 are accompanied by various scantily-clad pictures of the model in sexy poses. Eventually she provided the supposed text messages from Tony and her only other “proof” of their relationship was that they were friends on MySpace. There are four text messages proported to be from Parker sent on two separate days in which he tells her in French to meet him or call him.

At first I thought that the messages were fake because commentors on X17 note that all feature the same “time stamp” in the upper right hand corner. That’s the current time shown on the phone when the photos of the phone were taken, though, and not the time stamp of the messages. The time stamp and dates on the messages makes them seem possibly real, although it’s quite easy to fake text messages. It’s also pretty lame that she said they’re friends on MySpace, that’s desperation talking.

As we noted in our earlier post about Parressant, she also claims to have bedded Brazilian soccer player Ronaldinho before the World Cup last year, which he lost due to poor performance. Ronaldhino is suing Parressant for defaming his public image. The article I found about it makes it seem as if they did have an actual relationship, but that Ronaldhino is pissed that the woman made him seem like a sucker to the press.

The video of Paressant on X17 makes her seem like she’s super arrogant and I have a tendency not to believe her, but Parker does go for the obnoxious full-of-shit type. She is getting sued for prior claims, but she was apparently the girlfriend of the sports star she made them against. The verdict is still out on this one.

Tony Parker and Eva Longoria’s rep have denied that this story is true, and the newly-married couple issued a joint statement yesterday in which Tony suspiciously didn’t deny the woman’s claims. He just said “I love my wife. She’s the best thing in my life, and I have never been happier.” For her part Eva said that “Tony has been nothing short of the perfect husband.”

Eva Longoria and Tony Parker have one of those marriages that seems unstable. Maybe it’s because they broke up several times before getting married, or because they had both reportedly cheated on each other while dating. Or maybe it’s because Longoria is supposedly quite the control freak in their relationship. Or that anyone who’s “best friends” with Mario Lopez (Longoria) has questionable judgment. During their engagement, there were a lot of reports that Longoria pressured Parker into marriage. Though they’d been together for two years, Parker was only 24 when they became engaged – certainly one could understand how any person that age – but especially a successful NBA star – would want a little more oat sewing time. Longoria also seemed to spend most of her interviews discussing wedding details more than Tony or the relationship. For different reasons, neither seemed ready to get married – Tony for a lack of life experience, and Eva for her focus on material stuff. According to a model named Alexandra Paressant, she and Parker began an affair shortly after his July 7th wedding.

A model claims that Tony Parker cheated on wife Eva Longoria with her in September. Alexandra Paressant told x17online.com that she was a guest at his July 7 wedding and that the basketball player, 25, looked at her with a wandering eye. They were eventually introduced to each other by mutual friend, soccer player Thierry Henry, she said. But it wasn’t until September 29 that Paressant claims she and Parker began exchanging sexually explicit text messages and phone calls while Parker was in Paris at the Park Hyatt Hotel.

They then slept together, she said, and continued seeing each other night after night in Paris until he left to San Antonio a short time later. “We had room service. He said that Eva, sexually speaking, does not want to do certain things,” she said. “She does not want to make love in front of a mirror, does not like [a] certain position and thinks that sperm gives acne.”

Eva Longoria does seem both dumb and vain enough to believe that sperm leads to acne. I’m totally going to use that line. Not in bed, just to random people on the street. Paressant also told X17 that Parker said he got married because everyone has to at some point in life. Romantic. When they asked if Eva knew about their affair, she responded, “I don’t think she knew about it. She seems quite jealous.” I’m guessing she knows now. And must be thrilled that everyone knows the secret to her clear completion. Paressant also said that when she asked Parker if he and Longoria would have kids, he responded, “Certainly not for now.”

I can’t explain why, but I do kind of believe this story. I have no idea if Alexandra Paressant is a credible source. Most mentions of her online are not to her modeling career but the fact that she was sued by her ex-boyfriend. I believe the story of the affair more because it makes sense in terms of what we already knew about Eva Longoria and Tony Parker’s relationship. Eva seemed to be pressuring a fairly young guy into marriage before he was ready, and she seemed to focus more on having the big fancy wedding in Paris than on the relationship. Hopefully something dramatic and exciting will happen soon, and Eva Longoria will learn that just planning your wedding for 7/7/07 isn’t actually all you need for a successful relationship.

Note by Celebitchy: If you watch the video of the “model” over at X17, she’s a bad actress and seems like she’s full of shit, but this story also rings true to me. It could be a publicity ploy I guess. It’s suspect that the source is X17. Why would this woman talk to them unless she wanted the press? It’s not like they’re going to check out her story or ask for receipts or plane boarding passes.

This same French model claims to be responsible for Brazilian soccer player Ronaldinho’s poor performance in last year’s World Cup - because he was shagging her at night and then playing Playstation soccer. I bet it was the video games that did him in.

This woman routinely kisses and tells - but is she telling the truth? Eva and Tony have issued new statements denying the reports. Note that Tony says he loves Eva and that he’s never been happier, but he doesn’t deny the woman’s claims. He seems like a dull blade, though, so maybe that only means they had to get this statement out quickly and didn’t read it over carefully or get another opinion first.

“I love my wife,” Parker said in a statement to PEOPLE. “She’s the best thing in my life, and I have never been happier.” Longoria, who took Parker’s name this year after their July nuptials, added, “Tony has been nothing short of the perfect husband.”

Both The National Enquirer and sister publication Star Magazine are reporting that Lindsay Lohan is drinking again, with witnesses seeing her boozing at a party in Long Island over Thanksgiving with her then-boyfriend, Riley Giles. Star takes it a step further to quote a witness who claims she was begging for Xanax and cocaine from her friends, and then hooked up with a drug dealer. They also say she caught Riley having sex outside the party in the woods that night with a girl he just met! Lindsay was screaming and freaking out at Riley, and although she went home with him that night they broke up shortly afterwards.

“Almost as soon as she landed [in NY on November 18], she called up all her old friends and asked if they had any Xanax and blow [cocaine],” says her pal. “She really hounded them and begged!…

“Everyone I know said know, but she kept asking. She wanted them to come to her, but then she said she’d come to them. No one would do it….

“Finally, she met up with a drug deal named Chris,” says the source. “He’s well known in New York, and they spent some time together. Nothing good comes out of hanging with Chris.”

Another source confirms that Lindsay and Chris spent several house “behind closed doors” together. “She was with Chris, yeah,” says the insider. “She’s known him for a while.”

People say Lindsay was “out of her mind wasted,” and maybe it helped blunt the pain of being so publicly humiliated by getting cheated on at a party. But considering that she was in a room presumably alone with the drug dealer for hours, Riley might have been cheating on her as retaliation for cheating on him first. I’m surprised they didn’t stay together, considering how well-matched these two addicts are:

“Turns out this guy Riley, who must be an idiot, had taken some girl from the party into the woods and had sex with her,” explains the friend. “Who has sex in the outdoors in the freezing cold during a house party? And with his girlfriend inside?

“When Lindsay found out, she went ballistic. Everyone at the party watched her yell at Riley. She was crying and sobbing. It was a major scene.”

This is one of those rare cases where the insider quoted in a gossip rag does sound like an actual person because the quotes are in a unique voice and aren’t too salacious or perfect-sounding. The witness says that Lindsay was embarrassed after she freaked in front of everyone, but that she wouldn’t accept multiple offers for rides and wouldn’t take any food or water offered to her. She ended up leaving with Riley, who was also in no state to drive.

Several days later Lindsay was spotted with Heath Ledger and is said to have bumped uglies with him. She was also seen out with Stavros Niarchos, Paris Hilton’s fallback boyfriend, on November 28. Stavros has since briefly reunited with Paris, probably because Paris heard that he was out with Lindsay and decided to stake her claim again. Lindsay was said to have asked Stavros to make out with her last September in a bid to make her ex, Harry Morton, and Stavros’ perpetual ex, Paris Hilton, jealous. It sounds like she used this same tactic again after Ledger hit it and quit it. (Thanks to the Evil Beet for that euphemism.)

Hilary Swank, 33, has been dating her Creative Artists agent probably since April of 2006, when they were first spotted exercising together and looking flirty. Their relationship went public in August, 2006 when they were photographed on a romantic holiday in Rome.

Swank’s boyfriend, John Campisi, 40, was only separated from his wife of 11 years at the time his romance with Swank was made public last summer. Not only had he not yet filed for divorce at that time, at least four months after he started cheating or “exercising” with Swank, he even had a toddler at home.

It was Campisi’s wife who filed for divorce after receiving the public humiliation of seeing pictures of her husband kissing and holding hands with Swank on a romantic vacation in Italy.

Now their divorce is about to be made final, and Swank and Campisi plan to get married as soon as he’s legally available. After that, Swank is planning for a baby:

Hilary Swank is planning to marry her boyfriend and former agent John Campisi as soon as his divorce becomes final in a few weeks - and she wants to start a family right away, say sources.

“Don’t be shocked if Hilary gets pregnant soon after she walks down the aisle with John,” a source told The Enquirer.

She’s now free to wed, having finalized her divorce from Chad Lowe.

“It’s just a matter of waiting for his divorce to clear the courts - it’s expected to be final by November,” said the source.

Joel Madden has pledged to marry Nicole Richie, his girlfriend who is five months pregnant with the couple’s baby. He told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show that they would get married, and that he was committed to Nicole:

“Obviously, marriage is in our future,” Madden told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Tuesday. “I don’t know when or where or how, but right now our priority is our family and is the baby.”

The singer added: “That’s all we’ve been thinking about. We are in love and are really happy.”

A story last week had Nicole postponing the wedding until after the baby was born as she wanted to avoid the unnecessary stress. Nicole is said to be planning an all natural medication-free birth and seems to be acting in the best interest of her child. If only she could get an attitude adjustment.

It is possible that Madden was making such a public statement about his plans with Nicole due to the sensational new cover of Star this week. The cover features an old picture of Madden’s ex, Hilary Duff, on his lap. A forlorn-looking pregnant Nicole simpers on the cover and the headline reads “Joel CHEATING on pregnant Nicole… with Hilary?”

I thought Hilary Duff was dating a hot young hockey player and if there is some insider information about a potential meeting with Madden I bet they just ran into each other out somewhere and made awkward ex conversation. A paparazzo might have seen it at one of the clubs these young stars frequent and given the non-salacious details to the tabloids.

Meanwhile there’s a cute story in this week’s Enquirer about Joel busting his ass to get Nicole some ice cream when they were in NY:

In Madhattan [sic] spending a quiet evening in, pregnant Nicole Richie and Joel Madden vegged and watched TV - until Mommy-to-be suddenly moaned she had a powerful craving for caramel ice cream from fave La Maison du Chocholat in Rockefeller Plaza. After 20 minutes of resistance, Daddy-to-be surrendered and raced several blocks to the store - but it had just closed! Knowing Hell hath no fury like a pregnant dame jonse-ing for whatever, Joel banged on the door until an annoyed salewoman yelled through the glass: “We’re Closed!” Panic-stricken, Joel shouted back: “She’s pregnant - she’s craving caramel!” Suddenly softening, as members of The Sisterhood do when they hear baby talk, the woman took pity. Moments later - after telling her: “I will now have a little peace and quiet, thanks to you!” - Joel hotfooted back through the Big Apple streets.. just another lovestruck sap, a la “Guys and Dolls,” clutching his doll’s precious ice cream!

Joel is not leaving Nicole anytime soon. The guy is making desperate ice cream runs for her and talking about getting married.

Last week’s Star Magazine had Joel and Nicole fighting over whether to live on the west or the east coast, with Joel wanting to live in NY while Nicole wanted to stay put in LA. Star must have it out for them, not that I wouldn’t mind seeing them flame out while Nicole ends up a single mom with all the help in the world.

Sting, the tantric love master, apparently sometimes only has sex for an hour. It seems he has been caught leaving a strip club, which various papers are calling a ‘gentlemen’s club’, ‘brothel’ or a ‘massage parlour’. I did try to find a website for the club, named Relax, but I can’t read German so not really sure what the club offers exactly.

Advertised as a ’strip club’ but renowned for its more elaborate offerings, the venue boasts a swimming pool, whirlpool bath and “steamy” sauna.

“What he did inside is unclear,” the report stated.

“At the bar each night sit up to 40 ladies, fulfilling the wishes of the guests.”

Although photos of the 55-year-old’s escapade were splashed all over the front page of Hamburg’s tabloids, the exposé was not news to Sting’s wife, Trudie Styler.

Ms Styler, mother to four of his Sting’s six children reportedly said during an interview in 2004 that she and her husband had in visited sex clubs and played up at swinger’s parties. Although both have claimed to enjoy an open relationship, Ms Styler later retracted the claims, saying she had been joking.

Trudie Styler has in the past given an infamous interview with Howard Stern about her sex life with Sting, and he has talked about their tantric sex life. He’s then avoided confirming whether he or she was kidding. I think they find it all a bit of a joke to play on journalists, as they seem to change their minds about what goes on all the time.

Sting’s publicist seems to be in on the marital sex life joke, issuing this statement:

“Sting and his wife have always been open about their interest in strip clubs.”

Well, I guess if you have that kind of arrangement privately with your wife, that’s okay. Unfortunately Sting can’t really get away with it privately!
