Did Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt marry on Christmas Day in Turks & Caicos?

So far, I’ve been a little bit disappointed with the end-of-the-year gossip. I was hoping the first days of 2013 would be full of sudden engagements, elopements, babies and drama. Kimye’s baby doesn’t count, and it seems weird to me that Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux didn’t make any big PR move over the holidays. Maybe they were waiting to see how Brangelina played it. I really thought there would be more Bermuda Triangle/Rectangle Dramz, but there wasn’t. The only thing that’s going on is this report from the UK newspaper The Telegraph – the Telegraph isn’t a UK rag, it’s one of the more respectably and small-c conservative newspapers in all of the UK. So if they have a hot tip that Brangelina got married… it might be something…?

It seems that the celebrity wedding the whole world is waiting for, might have already happened…

Word reaches us that Hollywood’s hottest couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, secretly tied the knot on Christmas Day in the Caribbean’s Turks and Caicos Islands.

The couple, who announced their engagement in April 2012 after seven years together, have been spending the holiday at the private Parrot Cay estate of American fashion designer, Donna Karan along with their six children, Brad’s parents Jane and William Pitt, his brother Doug and sister Julie.

‘The Sanctuary’, a collection of three secluded villas, three open-air pavilions and four swimming pools, was built by Karan as a “cocoon of serenity” for her family following the death of her husband Stephan Weiss in 2001.

The entire estate, styled in a hybrid Indonesian/African style, sleeps 22, but Parrot Cay is dotted with similarly luxurious private residences, perfect for their entourage ( one local told a journalist that the couple had been spotted with two nannies per child in tow), and wedding guests.

Speculation about the couple’s wedding plans has been rife ever since news of their engagement broke; with recent reports pointing to Greece as the likely location.

However is seems that the planet’s most high-profile couple – both bankable A-list actors and stars of major luxury label campaigns (Brad is the current face of Chanel No.5, while Angelina appears in Louis Vuitton’s ‘Core Values’ ads) – might have given the world’s press the slip and tied the knot while the paparazzi were busy tucking into turkey.

Both party’s management teams are unavailable to comment at this time.

[From The Telegraph]

A wedding on a serene, quiet beach locale? Isn’t that a weird choice for Brangelina? That’s so… Aniston! I could totally see Jennifer Aniston renting out a luxury beach resort and throwing her wedding on some kind of sandy dune. But Angelina? Seems antithetical to who she is or who she wants to be.

You know what’s cracking me up though? If they did marry on Turks & Caicos that means they LITERALLY got married in the Bermuda Triangle!! They can never escape The Aniston. NEVER.

Angelina Jolie thinks Brad Pitt’s budget weave is cheesy & unworthy of The Leg

I don’t really keep up with Brad Pitt’s hair. I mean, I’m aware that he’s wearing it longer these days, and it’s been “longer” than usual since 2011, when he began filming the neverending production of World War Z. For whatever reason, Brad’s hair choice for his WWZ character is reminscient of Legends of the Fall. Which is fine if that’s what you like (I’ve always been partial to Brad’s dirtbag grifter styling in Thelma & Louise). But as Brad has faced WWZ’s stop-and-go shooting schedule, his hair needs to “look” the same no matter what. So he got a weave. Not just any weave – a really busted Britney Spears weave. And Angelina Jolie won’t have sex with him unless she can rip it out with her Talons of Doom (not really, but that’s what the story should be).

Plenty of successful 49-year-old men get the urge to date women half their age, but not Brad Pitt – he’d rather look like one! Just month after getting mocked for his unintentionally hilarious Chanel No. 5 perfume ad, the A-list actor – who already gets blonde highlights and weekly pedicures – has debuted a new set of hair extensions that had people whispering behind his back at his recent Killing Me Softly premiere in NYC.

“They’re really bad,” a source told Star. “Think more Britney Spears than Kim Kardashian – they just look cheap!”

Apparently fiancée Angelina Jolie agrees. She thought the long hair he sported for World War Z looked thin and greasy, but he got so many compliments he wanted to keep the look.

“She would never get extensions,” says our insider. “She thinks they’re really cheesy, even for women.”

But that won’t stop Brad from going to great lengths to stay relevant in Hollywood – where everyone knows it’s hair today, gone tomorrow.

[From Star Magazine, print edition]

I’m including some of the most recent photos we have of Brad, from late November at the NYC premiere of Killing Them Softly (the pics where Brad is wearing a black leather jacket). Is that the weave? Or is that his real hair? I wasn’t paying much attention at the time, but now that I’m looking at it… sure, it could be a weave. I could see how the lower part could be fake. But they don’t look that budget to me. Certainly not Britney-esque.

Also – I’m pretty sure Angelina has worn wigs, weaves and hairpieces before. Usually for films, but occasionally for a red carpet too. So why is she getting so pissy with Brad?

UPDATE: Page Six has a nice story on “Where in the world is Brangelina?” They’re in Turks and Caicos with their kids & Jane Pitt. They’re staying at Donna Karan’s estate, which sounds awesome. There’s also a rumor going around the island that the Jolie-Pitts have brought along 12 nannies. Which… maybe they’re taking their whole staff on vacation, you know?

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt picked up their wedding bands: is the wedding soon?

Here ^^ is a new photo of Angelina Jolie in the Za’atri refugee camp on the border of Jordan yesterday, where she met with Syrian refugees fleeing the absolutely insane civil war/one-sided genocide by Syrian President Bashir al-Assad . Angelina is really tight with Jordan’s Queen Rania, and Jolie praised Jordan for their efforts to take care of the hundreds of Syrian refugees crossing the border. You can read more about her visit here, and you can donate to the UNCHR efforts for the Syrian refugees here. Do we need to talk about the widespread reports that Bashir al-Assad is planning on using chemical weapons on his people? He has Sarin gas. It’s going to be awful. Those poor people.

Now, let’s move on to something less psychologically devastating. I’m not saying that the above paragraph wasn’t important – it’s extremely important – I’m just saying that this is a gossip site so maybe we should have a lighter story? There are a ton of tabloid stories about a possible Brangelina wedding, so I just thought you’d like to know:

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are one step closer to saying “I do!”

In Touch has exclusively learned that on Nov. 27, a stylist for the actress picked up wedding rings from Neil Lane jewelers for the couple.

Known for being notoriously shy about discussing his private life, Brad revealed just the day before purchasing the wedding bands, “It’ll be soon — the time is right.”

Exchanging vows seems to be low on the priority list for the power couple, who have been filming two movies, renovating their home in France, jetting across the globe on goodwill missions, shooting a perfume commercial, and taking care of their six children.

Brad says the celebration will be “simple” and “just family.”

[From In Touch Weekly]

In Touch’s print edition notes that Brad had been perusing the wedding band section before Angelina’s stylist picked them up, so maybe it’s on. Star Magazine also has a really stupid story about Jennifer Aniston and Angelina’s “wedding wars”. Basically, Jennifer “still wants to stick it to Angelina” so when Jennifer heard that Brad and Angie were planning a ceremony in the South of France, Jennifer decided to have HER wedding in Paris and she invited all of Brad’s friends because she is so, so, so OVER him. So Angelina heard about this (from the gerbils) and she decided to move the wedding ceremony over to Cambodia, and she’ll “stick it to Aniston” by making her look vapid and showy and excessive while she (Angelina) looks so family-oriented by comparison. So to up the ante, Jennifer has invited Brad’s mother to the wedding and DEAR GOD do I have to keep talking about this?

Angelina Jolie ‘refusing’ to spend Christmas in Missouri with Brad’s parents

Here are some photos from the past year of Angelina Jolie looking lovey-dovey and super-friendly with Brad Pitt’s mother Jane Pitt. Jane, as we found out earlier this year, is a bit of a hyper-conservative wingnut. Which is fine. To each their own, etc. While Jane’s son Brad is a self-described liberal who believes in gay marriage and all of that jazz, we still don’t really know where Angelina stands on many issues. She sees herself as a diplomatic figure, so she really doesn’t come out for or against many polarizing issues, and I’ve long suspected that Angelina is closeted neoconservative. So what’s the big deal? Star Magazine is trying to make Angelina and Jane’s “polar-opposite political views” a wedge issue that will tear the Pitt family apart! Jane is going to start calling her “Angelina Hussein Jolie”!!!

If you’re facing family drama this holiday season, you’re not alone. Angelina Jolie is squaring off against Brad Pitt’s mom – again – this time, over where the Brangelina brood will spend Christmas.

“As usual, Angie has no desire to spend her holidays in the Midwest, something Brad’s mom, Jane, finds rude and insulting. But Angie couldn’t care less,” reveals a source close to the famous couple, adding that Angie and Jane’s polar-opposite political views are the root of the discord.

“They have such different opinions on everything,” the friend explains. “Brad’s parents are extremely right-wing and religious. Angie has to bite her tongue to keep the peace.”

Predictably, Jane blames Angie for not seeing her grandchildren more often. “It’s been a sore point for Brad’s mom for years,” the insider says. “She loves to have all her grandkids together, but that rarely happens – and she says it’s Angie’s doing.”

Brad, 48, seems determined to sell his fiancée on the idea of a Missouri Christmas and even dragged her and the kids to Springfield last week. But Angelina won’t budge.

“Visits to the Pitt home have been awkward for Angelina,” our spy continues. “She says that not wanting to spend the holidays there isn’t personal, but anyone would see it as a snub.”

[From Star Magazine, print edition]

Maybe Angelina doesn’t want to go to Missouri because she’d rather be in Kenya or Cambodia or Libya or something. It’s not like Brad’s parents NEVER get to see Angelina and Brad and their kids. The Pitts fly out to LA or London or wherever, and it seems like Angie and Brad make an effort to go to Missouri a few times a year too. I seriously doubt this is a thing. I also doubt that Jane and Angelina talk that much about political stuff.

Brad Pitt on gay marriage: ‘I believe in the idea of fairness & equality in our country’

Difficult question: do you think Brad Pitt might have had some eye work? I’m looking at some closeups… maybe it’s just the light? Maybe it’s just some good nightcream? Or maybe he had a minor nip-and-tuck. Just sayin’.

Anyway, more excerpts have been released from Brad’s epic People Magazine cover interview. This is the interview where he referred to Angelina as “mama” throughout the piece and he says the wedding is “nigh”. In these new excerpts, Brad is talking about the election, about gay marriage, and how his mom is super-conservative (which we already knew).

Brad Pitt says that even though his mother came out against President Obama and same-sex marriage, he is very happy about the election and feels that the country is headed in the right direction by allowing equal rights to all couples.

In an interview with People magazine, Pitt said that he respectfully disagrees with his mother’s position and has been an outspoken advocate for legalizing gay marriage throughout the U.S.

‘Sure, I believe in it. I believe in the idea of fairness and equality in our country. I truly believe it’s a matter of time. The next generation isn’t frightened by anything,’ Pitt said.

He explained that while he and partner Angelina Jolie, who he called ‘Mama’ throughout the interview, are planning to get married in the near future, they believe that it is a right that should be extended to everyone.

‘I come from a Christian family, and (gay marriage) goes against Christian beliefs, as far as what’s going to get you into heaven or not. My argument is, that you may be as you believe, and it may be true in the end. I don’t think so- but let your God make that call, and in the meantime we live in a country where everyone should be treated equally, so let’s treat everyone equally,’ he said.

Pitt’s political beliefs were called into question when his mother Jane wrote a letter to her local paper claiming that Mr Obama should not serve a second term because he lacks moral conviction and backs gay marriage and ‘the killing of unborn babies’.

Mrs Pitt wrote in her letter to the Springfield News-Leader, in Missouri: ‘I hope all Christians give their vote prayerful consideration because voting is a sacred privilege and a serious responsibility’.

Brad, 49, said that discussions don’t get too heated over the family dinner table at holidays, explaining: ‘We grew up with a very specific set of rules and challenging those rules has never been a closed door. Certainly our views can evolve. I don’t see them as letting go.’

[From The Mail]

Call me Brangeloonie, but I like Brad’s logical, secular argument for why gay marriage should be legal. It feels like an argument he makes to the conservative Christians in his family, an argument boiling down to “You can believe whatever you like when you’re in church, but legally everyone should be equal.”

In other Brad news, he told E! News that his kids are questioning the Santa Claus thing. He said, “I’m not real big on the whole Santa thing. I thought it was a huge act of betrayal when I was a kid. I didn’t like that. When I found out the truth, I was like, ‘Why? Why? Why would you lie to me? Why?’ What I tell them is some people believe it’s Santa, and some people believe it’s parents, and you get to believe whatever you want.”

Betrayal? Yikes. Of course, I don’t even remember having an “Aha moment” when I was little about Santa. I was a very logical child, and I didn’t understand the logistics of Santa coming to everyone’s house in one night. My father gave up trying to explain it to me – I think he sort of hoped that I would get over it. I do remember that at one point in my childhood, I was going through the motions of leaving milk and cookies out for Santa just so the dream wouldn’t die for my parents. There was never a sense of betrayal or anything… and even today, I love Santa. One of my favorite Christmas movies is still Miracle of 34th Street (the original version, with a young Natalie Wood).

Brad Pitt covers People Mag, refers to Angelina Jolie as ‘Mama’: hot or try-hard?

It’s hilarious to me that People Magazine used this nearly year-old photo of Brad Pitt for this week’s cover! On Monday night, Brad attended the NYC premiere of Killing Them Softly, so it’s not like People didn’t have completely new pics to choose from. Instead, they went with a W Magazine photo from the February 2012 issue. To honor People’s choice, I’m including more shots from the old W Magazine shoot, just because. I love “Heartthrob Brad”. He turns 49 years old in a few weeks, and he’s still capable of pulling the “Legends of the Fall” Card. Anyway, here’s more of Brad’s People Mag interview:

Thinking back over 2012, Brad Pitt acknowledges it’s been a big year for his “familia” since proposing to Angelina Jolie – whom he affectionately calls “Mama” – last April.

“It’s been a family type of year, a down-home type of year,” he tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story. “Mama’s worked more. And quite frankly I’ve really enjoyed it.”

The actor, whose Mob drama, Killing Them Softly, hits theaters Friday, chatted with PEOPLE between bites of his dinner with 4-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne, at their rental home outside of London. While he stopped short of confirming a wedding date, he did reveal what the couple have in mind for their big day: “Just family,” Pitt says. “Keep it simple. Keep it simple – really.”

For now, the actor is looking forward to being reunited with the rest of his brood – Maddox, 11, Pax, 9, Zahara, 7, and Shiloh, 6 – who were in Cambodia working on the family’s foundation with Jolie.

Has fatherhood made him a better man? “Absolutely,” Pitt says. Being a dad “takes you right off yourself.”

As for turning 50 next year, the actor insists he’s taking it all in stride. “This is what I think about: ‘Okay, you’re way over the mid-point [of your life]. You don’t know how much time you have left,’ ” Pitt says. “I want to enjoy this year more than ever.”

[From People]

So much wonderfulness in one short interview. Brad calls Angelina “Mama”? Amazing! Mama Jolie. Does she call him “Daddy”? That just made me kind of hot. I know, I know, it’s about their kids. But I bet she calls him “Daddy” in other areas too.

Brad also has a new interview with Good Morning America, although we don’t have any video from that (yet). Here are some selected quotes from his GMA piece:

For actor Brad Pitt, life changed completely when he had children.

“It turns everything on its head,” Pitt said in an interview with ABC News’ Elizabeth Vargas that aired today on “Good Morning America.” “I love it. I love it.”

Pitt, 48, and actress Angelina Jolie, 37, have six children. Ensuring a sense of normalcy for their brood — Maddox, 11, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 6, and 4-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne — is very important to the recently engaged pair.

Asked what city the family called home, Pitt said they had several “base camps.” They spend a great deal of their time in New Orleans, but Pitt said they also have a home in Los Angeles because he and Jolie work a lot there, and they’re trying to establish another base in Europe, primarily for their children.

“They get more sense of normalcy there. We’re not as hounded at certain places there,” he said, speaking of the media attention on his famous family. “France, especially. They have rules about … photographing kids. And I think they’re more sensitive to it after the Diana incident,” he said, referring to the strict regulations governing paparazzi in France after Princess Diana was killed in 1997 in Paris, the victim of a high-speed car crash as her driver attempted to elude photographers.

Pitt also said the French “think they’re as cool as anyone else,” and allowed his family members to get on with their day. “We’re not being bothered” there, he said.

The actor turns 49 next month, and he’s already thinking ahead to the big 5-0.

“I’ve given a lot of thought to it,” he said. “You become very aware of time. I think also being a father, you become very — everything’s time allocation for me now … spending my time wisely and doing the things that are important to me.”

[From ABC News]

Apparently, Brad didn’t get the memo about Duchess Kate’s Crumpet-gate, which went down in France. But yes, the French (and to a lesser degree, the Brits) have rules and laws and editorial policies in place so that celebrity children aren’t as photographed. Whatever, dude. Brad and Angie will let their kids be seen at certain times because it helps their agendas too – just like every other celebrity parent.

Brad Pitt on getting married: ‘The time is nigh, it’s soon. I got a good feeling about it’

It’s Brad Pitt Day! Of course. Brad attended his premiere of Killing Them Softly last night in NYC, and I believe he’s already heading back to England (for WWZ reshoots) right now. But he got a day for his press junket for the film, and he got to wear all-black for the premiere. Personally, I think Brad looks great here, and I’m not disappointed with the lack of Angelina Jolie. I wasn’t really expecting her to turn up, and I like it when Brad goes solo to his events, just because I know it will inspire Make-A-Controversy spin (“They’re breaking up! Angelina called off the wedding!”). As I said in the previous Pitt post earlier, Brad did a bunch of interviews yesterday, so there are tons of new quotes. Here’s a sampling:

Brad on the wedding plans: “I am getting more pressure from my kids, and it is something I want to do within their lifetime, but I also feel like the time has come… The time is nigh. It’s soon. I got a good feeling about it.”

Family first, then marriage: “We’ve had a family, we’ve raised the kids,” he says. “I am surprised how much [marriage] meant to me once you had that.”

But they still haven’t Saved the Date: “We really don’t … I don’t know what’s going to happen in two weeks. I certainly don’t know what the new year is going to bring!”

More about the kids: “I will admit, we have had some pressure from our kids. We didn’t realize how much it means to them. We didn’t realize how much it means to us.”

Location, location, location: “We are both migratory workers,” he said of his bride-to-be, 37. “It will be a matter of convenience location-wise.”

Taking a break now that he’s turning 49 years old: “I think that’s coming pretty quickly. I’m going to be 49 in a month. I really enjoy producing and I enjoy this opportunity, but I’ll be less and less in front of the camera.”

The Chanel spoof on SNL: “I am blissfully unaware of the chatter.”

Religion, gay marriage and drugs: “Equality, absolutely, that’s what defines us. It’s what makes us great. If it doesn’t sit well with your religion, let your God sort it out in the end, but that’s us. We’re equal….I do believe that we should be responsible for our own choices in talking about the drug laws, and that the drug war is an ultimate failure and that the billions and billions of dollars that we’ve committed to it, there’s got to be a better way. I don’t believe in incarceration over education — don’t get me started. But there’s real damage to drugs; that is not the same as with gay marriage. Since the last round [of elections], they’ve been linked in every article. I find that curious.”

[Via Towleroad, Us Weekly, Extra and People]

I’m also including the Extra video below too. I mean, is any of this extraordinarily newsworthy? Not really. This is pretty much what both Brad and Angelina were saying during Brad’s Oscar campaign earlier this year. I do think they’ll probably get married sooner rather than later, and I wouldn’t put it past them to do a holiday wedding either. I could totally see them having a quiet wedding in France a few days after Christmas. But what do I know?

video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player

I’m also including some pics of James Gandolfini and Ray Liotta, both of whom were at last night’s premiere. I love Gandolfini’s smile! He’s such a big bear.

Brad Pitt emptied his wallet & donated $1,100 to an English hospital’s neonatal unit

Brad Pitt’s film Killing Them Softly finally comes out this Friday. At long last! I’m actually surprised that Brad hasn’t done more work to promote the film, but I suspect we’ll have a bunch of new interviews and photos this week. Surely Brad will leave England (where he’s been stuck doing even more reshoots for World War Z) to promote the film stateside? I’m including promotional photos from the film in this post, as well as some of the cool posters. Here’s the latest trailer for Killing Them Softly – I’m not crazy-excited about this film, but it has a stellar cast. I love that Brad consistently employs Richard Jenkins.

As I said, the press tour has already begun, and there are several new pieces of Brad news for you today. First off, Brad spoke to People Magazine:

While most Americans celebrated Thanksgiving with family on Thursday, Brad Pitt spent his holiday with zombies on the set of World War Z in London.

“I didn’t know it was Thanksgiving until like midday. Until [the] afternoon,” he told PEOPLE in an interview for the coming issue. “When you’re overseas, they don’t celebrate it in England. And [Angelina Jolie] and some of the kids are overseas in Cambodia this week, working on the [The Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation] there,” he said. “It completely escaped me until someone brought me some English pumpkin pie.”

Even though Pitt, 48, went without the traditional turkey and stuffing this year, he didn’t seem to mind, saying, “That’s okay, last year we had a big meal and we don’t normally miss things twice.”

Still, Pitt was certainly into the spirit of the holiday. He put the entire contents of his wallet, $1,100, into the hands of a fundraiser collecting money for the Southampton General Hospital’s neonatal unit, where a friend’s son, Zachary Gallagher, had spent the first nine weeks of his life.

“The fundraiser had finished, and I got a phone call from my best friend, who said, ‘We have had a small donation.’ I thought she was messing about and was going to say, ‘My dad’s given you a fiver’ or something, then she said, ‘It’s from Brad Pitt!’ ” Zachary’s mother, Karley Gallagher, 23, tells PEOPLE.

“He said that he had seen the fundraiser mentioned in the local papers and seen my fliers and thought it was a really great cause and was just sorry he couldn’t have been there,” she adds “The silver lining is that Zachary is home and alive. … To have Brad assist us is more than we could ever have wished for.”

While Pitt, in New York Monday for a special screening of Killing Them Softly, plans to fly back to London on Tuesday to continue filming, the Jolie-Pitt bunch is already focused on the next holiday. Maddox, 11, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 6, and 4-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne have already mailed letters to Santa from the village of Littlebourne in rural Kent, England.

[From People]

The British papers have more quotes from the recipients of Brad’s largesse – you can read another account of it here. Since I know people will yell about it, let me just say two things: one, Brad isn’t the one publicizing his donation, it’s the hospital that’s publicizing, hoping that by mentioning Brad in the press, more money will come in. Two, the size of the donation – yes, Brad could have written a check for a lot more, etc, etc, but I took it as more of a spur of the moment thing, like running into a Salvation Army bell-ringer and whipping out your wallet (which I do all the time during the holidays).

Meanwhile, during an interview with Access Hollywood, Brad was asked about his awful Chanel commericals, and how they seemed custom-built for spoofing. When asked about the spoofs and criticisms, Brad said, “I’ve been overseas, so I’ve been blissfully protected. I haven’t [seen the parodies], but I say absolutely fair play, fair play.” He defended the House of Chanel saying, “I kind of liked it… I respect what they do. They do some really quality things.” But he also said that he wouldn’t be able to identify Chanel No. 5 if he smelled it on the street.

Interesting enough – because he rarely gets questioned about this – he was asked about his on-and-off smoking habit and how his Killing Them Softly character is a smoker. Brad said, “[I’ve quit] several times, I’m really good at it… It’s great, it’s great [to smoke in the movie]…. But you have to know that you’re going to have to quit on the other end and that that ugly day is coming, so you over enjoy it I guess. I very conscious of health now and I want to be around for my kids, I don’t have that drive anymore. I don’t crave it all.” Brad, I love you and everything, but bullsh-t! Every time he proclaims that he’s stopped smoking and he doesn’t crave it, he ends up going back to the cigs. I mean, I feel his pain – it’s so hard to quit and it’s so easy to backslide. But maybe he should just adopt AA-speak about his smoking habits: “One day at a time, man.”

Brad Pitt spent the holidays doing even more reshoots for ‘World War Z’

Here are some new photos of Brad Pitt filming (what else?) even more reshoots for the neverending film production, World War Z. It’s funny because Brad has been filming this junk for 2 years. It’s funny because I bet this film is a money pit that’s probably already cost the studio more than $200 million… and that’s before they spend money to promote the thing. It’s funny because someone (coughBradcough) thought it would be a great idea to hand off this giant, action-packed, CGI-packed film to a small-time director without any kind of background in this stuff. It’s funny because this is like Brad’s career albatross at this point. He can’t do anything else except go do reshoots for this God forsaken film.

Anyway, yes, this are pics of Brad in Dorset, England on Saturday. Poor Brad even had to spend the Thanksgiving holiday working! I see Mireille Enos in one of the shots too (she plays Brad’s wife in the film), so these reshoots/pickups are part of the “family reunion” storyline I guess. I guess I should put more faith in Brad and this film – I was really worried about all of it until I saw the first full trailer – which it doesn’t look like my exact film taste, I think it will probably be able to make its money back, at least. Here’s the trailer again – people who’ve read the book say it looks like a horrible adaptation of the book. So… even if they do manage to wrestle a decent film out of this, people will still be complaining.

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie let their kids act crazy at a Missouri pizza parlor

Like everything Brangelina-related, small, clarifying details are ignored in favor of a larger storyline. This week’s storyline is “the Jolie-Pitt children are hellions who destroy everything they touch.” The story comes from Us Weekly, on the heels of that cute People story about the Jolie-Pitt kids been well-behaved when they dropped off their letters to Santa. Us Weekly seems to be offering an alternative for those who believe that it is simply impossible for six kids to basically be well-behaved most of the time.

Brad Pitt knows where the wild things are — at his hometown pizza parlor.

Every time the actor, 48, and his six children visit Springfield, Missouri, a source tells Us Weekly, the brood goes bananas at Arris’ Pizza!

“The place shuts down for the entire night and the kids raise a ruckus,” says the insider of Maddox, 11, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 6, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 4. “They jump on tables and even throw food at each other!”

Pitt and Angelina Jolie, 37, leave their nannies at home and “let the kids enjoy themselves,” continues the source about the couple, who normally divide their time between properties in Los Angeles and their Miraval estate in France.

The twosome loosen up too — on policing their pack.

Says the insider, “Brad and Angelina just sit there and talk to one another while the children run around in circles!”

[From Us Weekly]

I think the important detail is “The place shuts down for the entire night and the kids raise a ruckus.” Brad and Angelina pre-arrange it – the place shuts down and they probably pay a tidy sum to the pizza people so that the kids can get the run of the place for an evening. So… definitive proof that Angelina is The Villainess and that The Leg is a bad mother (because it’s all about Angelina’s parenting style, never Brad’s)? Of course.

PS… Does anyone else wonder if Jane Pitt is one of the people threatening to secede now that Obama has been re-elected? I wonder if she voted for Todd Akin.
