The unlikely pairing of Brit actress Sienna Miller, best known for dating Jude Law back when he was marginally hot, and her alleged fiance, “Notting Hill” actor Rhys Ifans, may be on the rocks. Rumors are flying that Sienna’s work schedule and her trademark flirting and partying are causing Rhys to show his jealous streak- and Sienna is ready to call the whole thing off.

Hot on the heels of engagement rumors, Sienna is said to be struggling to cope with Rhys’ possessiveness; and his behavior reminds her of ‘controlling’ ex-boyfriend Jude Law.

A source says, “Rhys gets very jealous - he hates her socializing with other men and always wants to know where she is and who she’s with. During a row she yelled at him: ‘It’s just like being with Jude’.

“Rhys freaked out, because he prides himself on being the laid-back opposite of Jude. But he just gets worked up seeing men admiring his girlfriend and trying to hit on her.”

Tensions between the pair have worsened due to work commitments. Sienna has been filming GI Joe in America while Rhys has been working in the UK.

“They had a huge bust up recently,” the friend added.

“Sienna promised to spend a week with Rhys. He arranged his filming schedule, but at the last minute she canceled her trip, saying she had to work. Rhys hit the roof when he called her and found out she was partying in LA.”

Another source said, “It’s awful but everyone who knows them can just see it coming a mile off.

“Rhys still seems madly in love with her but everyone’s speculating Sienna has grown out of the relationship.”

Owen Wilson isn’t letting the grass grow under his feet after his latest split with Kate Hudson. Instead of getting depressed, or turning to spiritual pursuits in an attempt to make sense of what happened, he went out to a strip club and blew a lot of money on lap dances. One dancer he took a liking to is said to have borne more than a passing resemblance to his famous ex:

It sounds like Wilson has a type. Many years ago I read those “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus” books, and while a lot of author John Gray’s advice is hackneyed and seems to rely too much on gender stereotypes, one thing that stuck with me is his advice for getting through the period after a breakup. Gray claims that men tend to go out and get into another relationship right away while women want to stay home and think about things when a relationship ends. He recommends that men try to take their time before they jump into another relationship and that women should date and play the field after a breakup.

Kate Hudson isn’t exactly sitting home crying over their split, either. She’s been seen out twice with Lance Armstrong, who also dated Owen’s other ex, Sheryl Crowe. It’s pretty clear exactly which magazines Papa Joe Simpson is friendly with – and even more clear who he isn’t. Though People published an article questioning whether Tony Romo had really dumped Jessica Simpson – after all he did go to Ashlee’s wedding and was supposedly very sweet to Jessica all night – US Weekly is gloating that Jess had to go on vacation all alone with her parents yesterday. And it really does seem like they’re gloating; they’re enjoying her supposedly sorry state way too much.

Us ends most of their articles with some plea to buy their print edition, and I don’t normally leave that in the excerpt. But the phrasing was so funny and really proves my point. They’re really enjoying framing Jessica in the most pathetic and desperate light possible. And it may be totally true – really we’re not there, we don’t know – but they sure have fun with their adjectives.

People, in contrast, brags about Jessica and Tony’s PDA at Ashlee’s wedding. Something tells me the truth probably lays somewhere between Jessica being totally pathetic and Tony Romo shoving his tongue down her throat. Probably.

Between the two magazines, People is generally the more reputable – though in this case they might be a little hopefully naive.

It seems like dating Lance Armstrong is a rite of passage for Owen Wilson’s ex-girlfriends. Kate Hudson is now dating Owen’s good friend Lance… just like Wilson’s other ex-girlfriend Sheryl Crow. Apparently the pair have been dating for about three weeks – nearly immediately after Hudson and Wilson’s split. She originally met Lance through Owen. Let’s hope these two are such good friends that they don’t mind when one dates the other’s exes.

By all accounts Wilson and Hudson’s second split was not a friendly one at all. Supposedly there was a lot of shouting, and they are no longer on speaking terms. That makes you wonder what must be going on between supposed good friends Owen and Lance. If I had a bitter breakup with someone, and then my good friend started dating that person, I’d be pretty damn pissed. You’d think Lance would have a little more class than that… especially the second time around.

The more I hear about this story, the sicker it gets. Dadager Joe Simpson just can’t stop meddling with his daughters’ relationships, and now that football star Tony Romo has broken it off with older daughter Jessica, he still can’t mind his own business. With younger daughter Ashlee getting married to emo poster boy Pete Wentz this weekend, Papa Joe is imploring Romo to show up to the wedding. But is it because he has his daughter’s best interest at heart, or is he hoping that if Tony shows, the media might actually give a crap about this stupid wedding?

Oh, sure - like the Simpson family EVER hosts a party for family only. I’m convinced that Jessica, Ashlee and their parents would probably cease to exist of they stopped being photographed and interviewed. Papa Joe has orchestrated both of these “relationships” for his desperate fame whore daughters, and you can bet he will orchestrate their break-ups as well. There was a brief time in my life several years ago when I was floundering emotionally and spiritually and somehow let myself watch a bit of reality television. Okay I really wasn’t floundering at all, but that’s the only excuse I could think of to justify it. And there’s a chance I was a mild fan of The Surreal Life. I often marveled at Brigitte Nielsen. The woman was as bizarre as they come, especially her odd relationship with Flava Flav.

I was pretty impressed that Sylvester Stallone married a woman so much older than him. Imagine my shock when I found out Nielsen was only 41 when she filmed the show. She looked at least 65. But clearly she doesn’t see it – Nielsen has announced that she’d like to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her Playboy cover by posing again.

I hope that plastic surgery is going to involve at least 30 rounds of diamond-grade microdermabrasion. Botox would be good for all the wrinkles, but that woman’s face looks like a splotchy leather glove. She is a true testament to what hard living can do to your looks. Brigitte looks like she spent the last twenty years smoking cigarettes in a tanning bed.

Here are some other famous women born in 1963. Imagine their faces, and then look below to understand my point: Vanessa Williams, Kathy Ireland, Elle Macpherson, Natasha Richardson, Phoebe Cates, Tori Amos, Lauren Holly, Nicolette Sheridan… you get the point. They don’t all look like they’re 25, but none of them look 65 either. I’m not sure plastic surgery could even make Brigitte Nielsen look her real age. Something tells me she might want to focus on other endeavors… like sobriety and visiting the dermatologist regularly.

There’s been no confirmation of Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo’s split and just denials from Jessica’s rep, but the rumors seem to have enough weight to be true. We’re still waiting to see if Tony is Jessica’s date to her sister’s wedding this weekend. If anyone other than the magazine who bid the highest will be able to score photos of the guests we’ll probably know soon, otherwise they’ll try to hide the breakup for as long as possible.

The Dallas News reports that “two people close to Tony and Jess” attest that they’re over, while Tony himself said “I’m not talking about Jessica” when asked on Wednesday.

There are more and very believable insider reports from The Chicago Sun Times, which says “they’re definitely over,” and gives a bunch of reasons why Tony split. Jessica’s effusive “my future husband” Glamour interview was a definite reason Tony left, along with the way that her father, Joe, tried to interfere with Tony’s career:

Yet, the Romo pal — part of the posse that hung with the pro-baller during his hard partying in Chicago last weekend (including his off-key singing at Wrigley Field during the seventh inning stretch) — quotes Romo as saying he and Simpson ”are definitely over.” The Cowboy apparently explained he had ”really had it” with being a constant target of the paparazzi and the celebrity press in general, and feels this particular romantic relationship was distracting him from his football career.

In addition, Romo’s friend said the talented QB has been put off by the intrusive style of Joe Simpson, who’s been ”not only telling Jessica every move to make, but now has begun to offer unsolicited advice to Tony on his career, endorsement opportunities and things that have nothing to do with him dating Jessica.”

Furthermore, Romo reportedly was very upset by Simpson’s interview in Glamour magazine where she referred to Romo as her ”future husband” and other on-the-record interviews she has given, saying she wants Romo to be the father to her children.

Meanwhile OK! Magazine, with spin that’s probably straight from Jessica’s down in the dumps camp, says that she gave Tony an “ultimatum” that if he doesn’t show at her sister’s wedding this week it’s over. I guess that means they’re really through and this is Jessica’s meek attempt to save face.

You know, Romo probably might have overlooked Jessica’s meddling dad and if only she wouldn’t have blabbed so much to the press about him. That’s the lamest move you can make as a woman. In most cases it’s just telling your friends too much so that it ultimately gets back to the guy secondhand. In this instance Romo can read exactly what Jessica said and it’s way too revealing and gushy.

Jezebel notes that Jessica was drinking Chardonnay when she gave that interview. Not the wisest move, and considering all the stories that are coming out about her drinking too much, she should probably watch herself and not seek solace in a bottle.

In news that probably makes a lot of people very nervous, Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have broken up. Again. You’ll remember that Owen attempted suicide after his last breakup with Kate this past summer. The pair rekindled their romance two months ago, much to the worry of their family and friends. Several unnamed “sources” said they didn’t think it was a healthy relationship for either of them to be in. But as time went on and happy pictures came out, it seemed the pair could maybe make a better go of it this time around. Turns out that was not to be.

Despite a flurry of engagement rumors, Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson – Hollywood’s most notorious on-again, off-again couple – have called it quits, less than two months after rekindling their romance in Miami. Us Weekly reports that even though Jessica has been blabbing about her love for Romo to anyone within earshot, the pop singer is still licking her wounds from being so publicly dumped by John Mayer. When Jessica saw pics of Mayer and Jennifer Aniston splashed all over the tabloids, she went into a full scale meltdown, complete with binge drinking and some vomit. That same night, Romo was seen partying solo in a club in Chicago.

If the reports are true, Jessica took the breakup with Mayer very badly, and continued to call him and e-mail after he dumped her. It wouldn’t surprise me if she is still hung up on the guy- though I can’t understand what these women see in him, personally. It does make sense that seeing your ex, who was a commitment phobe while dating you, now lovey dovey with someone else would send you into a tailspin. Actress Jodie Foster has reportedly split from her long-time girlfriend Cydney Bernard.

Rumors of Foster’s 14-year relationship with the film producer, 54, had only recently become widespread, although those in Foster’s close Hollywood circle have reportedly known for years.

Lately, the Panic Room star has been more open about her love, reportedly telling a crowd of Hollywood stars in a speech of her domestic situation in December.

I really hope it’s not true, but we may never know for sure, since Jodie is fiercely private about her relationship with Cydney. If she never went public with the relationship, it’s doubtful that she’ll comment on its demise.
