Sienna Miller must pay her friends really well. Or – more likely – reward them with the occasional flashing. All of her nearest and dearest have been flocking to the weekly magazines and tabloids to proclaim Miller’s complete and utter innocence in her affair with married father of four Balthazar Getty. Getty’s wife of eight years, Rosetta, has been reported to be absolutely heartbroken by the affair. But Miller’s friends are claiming the Getty marriage was over long before Sienna ever came into the picture.

In fact, she and Getty are said to have been living together in L.A. for over a month. Sources say he even rode his bike to meet her for dinner at one restaurant, lest they be seen together.

Despite the subterfuge, one friend of the couple tells us Getty’s marriage was on the rocks long before Sienna entered the picture.

“Sienna didn’t break up his marriage,” says the friend. “It’s been in trouble for a year. The truth is, they’ve quietly separated.”

Miller knows something about heartache. A few years back, ex-boyfriend Jude Law cheated on her with nanny Daisy Wright.

I call hogwash on every word. Unlike a lot of people I don’t think Sienna Miller is totally evil. But I think she’s overrated, and probably deserves a good deal of the reputation she has. Miller’s friend also went on to say that she never really had feelings beyond deep-friendship for her heartbroken ex-fiancé, Rhys Ifans. Miller broke up with him over the phone.

I think Sienna is the female John Mayer. No offense to any Mayer fans. She goes through people like candy, and doesn’t seem to give a thought to how it affects anyone but herself. Sienna Miller is now in Positano, Italy with her married boyfriend, the actor and oil heir Balthazar Getty. Miller, 26, and father of four Getty, 33, were photographed kissing on a boat on Saturday. Miller was topless and wearing only her bikini bottoms. The two also enjoyed lunch on the balcony of their hotel in Italy. Getty was wearing a shirt but Miller apparently forgot hers again. There’s a new interview in the British version of OK! Magazine with Miller. She was asked to name the worst thing she’s seen written about herself, and she said that Perez Hilton scrawled the word “slutty” over a picture of her visiting her grandparents’ grave:

Oh God. I went to see my grandparents’ grave with my father and they took a photo of us sitting. Above Miller on the tombstone [Perez Hilton, internet blogger] wrote ’slutty.’ I just thought that was unbelievably tacky. That was a weird place to be papped. There are times when you have no idea someone is there and then suddenly there’s a photo and that is always a bit weird.

She also repeated the claim that I’ve heard her go on about before that the media attention takes away from the public’s perception of her acting ability. She said essentially the same thing in an interview with The Times in June. She also brought up the war and starving people as if we’re the ones being heartless by paying attention to her. And then Miller says that hopefully the public will stop noticing all the crap she gets up to with married men and be awed by her acting ability instead:

Do you feel you’re treated unfairly by the media?
They don’t want me to be a good actress, they want me to be what they say that I am, which is actually very far from the truth. But at the end of the day it’s not a big deal. I mean, there’s a war on, people are starving, we live on a little island and it’s not important.

But still it’s your private life everyone wants to know about…
I think with time.. All I can do is focus on work and try to do a good job. Hopefully, eventually that will supersede the other less meaningful aspects of my life, but it’s a process, you know. It’s a battle.

Yeah, it’s a battle for sure for Sienna, and she’s throwing in the towel by going on vacation with a married guy and whipping her top off every chance she gets. She’s calling the fact that she’s cavorting topless with a married man “a less meaningful aspect” of her life when compared to her acting. I bet his wife doesn’t feel that way. The actress has taken up with married father of four Balthazar Getty, an actor on the ABC show Brothers and Sisters. They were introduced to each other last summer, and started spending a good deal of time with each other at the Chateau Marmont in March and April. News of the World has a very detailed account of the pair’s relationship, including what appears to be a day-by-day near stalking of the couple, along with pictures.

I have no idea what “rumbling” means in this context, but it can’t be good. Even though it made me giggle. Thank heavens for ever-evolving British slang. Supposedly Sienna broke up with ex-boyfriend Rhys Ifans because she wanted to “do the right thing” before stuff went further with Balthazar. Apparently the right thing only has to do with her relationship, and not Getty’s wife or four kids.

What a seedy situation. You can check out the News of the Word’s play-by-play of the couple’s secret relationship. The Huffington Post picked up the story as well, so it sounds like it’s pretty legit. Sienna Miller makes such poor relationship choices. Rhys Ifans seemed to be a notable exception. He was head over heels for her, and it was absolutely adorable. She seems like someone who will have to repeat her mistakes a couple times before she learns the lesson… if she can learn it.

Sienna Miller seeks solace in some pajamas that Heath Ledger had lent her after a walk in the rain. The actress, who costarred with Ledger in the film “Casanova,” became very close to him while working together. As many others also miss him dearly, Sienna finds comfort in what he has left behind.

“It had been pouring with rain and Heath ran out in the middle of St. Mark’s Square and we were running around, and I slipped over on my arse. He picked me up and everyone started laughing. We all ran back to his flat and he gave me these dry pajamas to get home in.”

After a feeble attempt to quash breakup rumors by going on in an interview about how great her relationship with Rhys is and how they love to stay home and eat together, Sienna Miller is said to have broke up with the homely actor over the phone.

Supposedly Rhys Ifans, 39, was jealous of Sienna’s ex boyfriend, coincidentally named Matthew Rhys, The new Rhys’ obsessive behavior and mistrust of Sienna’s relationship with the old Rhys is said to have driven her away. Remember those nude pictures of Sienna Miller? No, not one of the many times she was topless on the beach. No, not the ones where she’s topless in Vanity Fair or The Pirelli Calendar or Alfie or Factory Girl. The ones where she was entirely naked when in character as a hippie on the set of her film Hippie Hippie Shake. Miller wasn’t too happy about those photos, because while she routinely goes topless on public beaches, wears nip-baring clothing, and has no qualms about appearing naked on film or in magazines she objected to having someone take full frontal nude pictures of her while she was working.

Miller won a judgment of £37,500, around $76,083, plus legal costs from the company that owns papers the The Sun and News of the World, for invasion of privacy for publishing the pictures. It was thought to be the highest amount awarded for an invasion of privacy suit in Britain. The case against the paparazzo who took the photos is still pending:

Newsgroup, the Murdoch-owned subsidiary of News International which owns the tabloid newspapers, contributed to a payment of £37,500 plus legal costs along with the Xposure Photo Agency, settling the dispute after Miller sued for invasion of privacy following the pictures’ publication in October.

The payout is believed to be the biggest of its sort for an invasion of privacy. The companies have agreed not to republish any of the photographs and have agreed to delete all copies of them.

However, the Factory Girl and Layer Cake star is still suing the individual photographer, who took the pictures during filming of Hippie Hippie Shake. An application for a default judgement will be heard next month.

I guess when you’re Sienna Miller and the only way you can make money is by appearing nude in just about every film you make, you have to protect your assets. Pity he couldn’t have had this epiphany after cheating on his wife Sadie Frost, he might have managed to stay faithful to Sienna. But it seems Sienna Miller might be carrying about a bit of regret, saying she wishes she’d begun her Hollywood career before getting involved with her co-star.

Most of the entertainment blogs seem to have a strong dislike of Sienna Miller. I can’t recall ever reading anything good about her – but the dislike seems so strong that I almost feel badly about her. I couldn’t really figure out what she’s done that makes everyone think she’s so awful, and yet I have an instinctive dislike towards her too. Apparently she’s been dating British actor Rhys Ifans for a few months, but has gone to great lengths to keep the relationship under wraps, and avoids being seen with him in public. The two met after Sienna dated one of his best friends, Matthew Rhys, who she met on the set of “The Edge of Love.” Matthew Rhys no longer speaks to his former BFF Rhys Ifans, accusing him of sealing Sienna from him. Lovely. Ifans is supposedly over the moon about Sienna, and has proposed to her five times. She, on the other hand, won’t even publicly acknowledge their relationship. Sounds like a match made in heaven.

Sienna - who has constantly denied she is dating Rhys, despite the pair frequently being pictured together - isn’t taking their romance seriously, while the ‘Notting Hill’ actor is “besotted” with her and desperate for them to wed. Rhys played Hugh Grant’s odd, bumbling roommate in “Notting Hill.” The two don’t really make much sense to me as a couple, and I feel badly for the guy.
